And obedience to You and righteous deeds, and that You establish all of this in our hearing and our sight, and that You mix it with my flesh and blood and brain and fat, and that You employ my body and strength in it. O Allah, I say as he said, 'My Lord, harm has touched me and You are the most Merciful of the merciful.' I ask You by the name with which Zakariyya called upon You and said, 'My Lord, do not leave me alone, and You are the best of inheritors,' and You answered him and granted him Yahya and made his wife righteous for him, and You made them hasten to good deeds and call upon You in hope and fear, and they were humble before You.

For I say as he said, 'My Lord, do not leave me alone, and You are the best of inheritors.' So answer me and set right my affairs and all that You have bestowed upon me, and deliver me from what I am in, and grant me the honor of this world and the Hereafter, and righteous children who will inherit from me. Make us among those who call upon You in hope and fear, and among the humble and obedient to You. I ask You by the name with which Yahya called upon You and You made him enter the Day of Resurrection without having committed a sin or even having intended one, to protect me from committing sins until we meet You pure, without any sin against You on our part. I ask You by the name with which Mary called upon You and her child spoke in her defense, to grant us success and deliver us by our proof before You and in every calamity, until You make our proof prevail over those who wrong us. I ask You by the name with which Jesus son of Mary called upon You and by which he raised the dead and healed the blind and the leper, to deliver us and heal us from every evil, affliction, and pain, and to give us a good life in this world and the Hereafter, and to grant us well-being in our bodies. I ask You by the name with which the disciples called upon You and You helped them until they conveyed from Jesus what he commanded them, and You turned away from them the plots of the tyrants and became their guardian, to deliver us and make us among the callers to Your obedience. I ask You by the name with which George called upon You and You removed from him the pain of torture, to remove from us the pain of punishment in this world and the Hereafter, and not to try us, but if You try us then grant us patience -- though well-being is dearer to us. I ask You by the name with which al-Khidr called upon You and You preserved him, to relieve us, give us victory over those who wrong us, and return us to Your safety. I ask You by the name with which Your beloved Muhammad called upon You and You made him the master of the messengers and supported him with Ali, the master of the successors, to send blessings upon them both and upon their pure progeny, and to pardon my stumble on this day, and to forgive my past sins and errors, and not to send me away from this place except with an effort that is appreciated, a sin that is forgiven, a deed that is accepted, mercy and forgiveness, and bliss that is connected to the bliss of the Hereafter, by Your mercy, O Compassionate, O Gracious, O Possessor of Majesty and Honor. Verily, You have power over all things, and there is no might and no power except with Allah, the Most High, the Most Great.
