سُبْحَانَ ذِي ٱلْعِزِّ ٱلشَّامِخِ ٱلْمُنِيفِ
Glory be to the Lord of Honor and Sublime Authority.

سُبْحَانَ ذِي ٱلْجَلاَلِ ٱلْبَاذِخِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ
Glory be to the Lord of Majesty and Exalted Greatness.

سُبْحَانَ ذِي ٱلْمُلْكِ ٱلْفَاخِرِ ٱلْقَدِيمِ
Glory be to the Lord of eternal, splendid sovereignty.

سُبحَانَ مَنْ يَرَىٰ أَثَرَ ٱلَّنمْلِ فِي ٱلصَّفَا
Glory be to Him Who makes out the footprints of the ant on the stone.
- 5
سُبحَانَ مَنْ يَرَىٰ وَقْعَ ٱلطَّيْرِ فِي ٱلْهَوَاءِ
Glory be to Him Who knows the exact time and place of the bird dipping down through the air.

سُبحَانَ مَنْ هُوَ هٰكَذَا لاَ هكَذَا غَيْرُهُ
Glory be to Him Who is like this and no one other than Him is like this.

حَسْبِي حَسْبِي حَسْبِي
Sufficient, sufficient, sufficient,
- 8
مِنْ سُؤَالِي عِلْمُكَ بِحَالِي
unto my prayer is Your knowledge with my status.

اللَّهُمَّ انَّ هذا هِلالٌ عَظَّمْتَ شَهْرَهُ، وَ شَرَّفْتَ قَدْرَهُ، وَ اعْلَنْتَ ذِكْرَهُ، وَ اعْلَيْتَ امْرَهُ، وَ مَدَحْتَ عَشْرَهُ، وَ جَعَلْتَ فِيهِ تَأْدِيَةَ الْمَناسِكِ، وَ سَعادَةَ الْعابِدِ وَ النّاسِكِ.
“O‟ my God! This is the crescent moon of the month which You have exalted. You honored it, declared it, raised it, praised its first ten days, and established ceremonies during it with prosperity for the worshippers.

وَ كَمَّلْتَ فِيهِ كَشْفَ الْوِلايَةِ الْمُهِمَّةِ عَلَى الأُمَّةِ وَ زَوالَ الْغُمَّةِ، بِما جَرى فِي الْغَدِيرِ ثامِنَ عَشْرِهِ، وَ إِظْهارِ اللَّهِ جَلَّ جَلالُهُ لِسِرِّهِ حَتّى صارَ لِلدِّينِ كَمالًا وَ تَماماً، وَ لِلِاسْلامِ عَقْداً وَ عَهْداً وَ نِظاماً، فَقُلْتَ جَلَّ جَلالُكَ «الْيَوْمَ أَكْمَلْتُ لَكُمْ دِينَكُمْ وَ أَتْمَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ نِعْمَتِي وَ رَضِيتُ لَكُمُ الْإِسْلامَ دِيناً»
You unveiled the Trusteeship to the nation and removed the sorrows during what happened in Al-Ghadir in the eighth year. The Almighty God made His Secret public and perfected the religion. You said, “This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favor upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion.”1

وَ خَصَصْتَ هذَا الشَّهْرَ بِيَوْمِ الْمُباهِلَةِ، الَّذِي اظْهَرْتَ حُجَّةَ الإِيمانِ عَلَى الْكُفْرِ إِظْهاراً مُبِيناً، وَ وَهَبْتَ لِلَّذِينَ باهَلْتَ بِهِمْ مَقاماً مَكِيناً. وَ اوْدَعْتَ فِي هذا الشَّهْرِ مِنَ الأَسْرارِ وَ الْمَبارِّ ما يَأْتِي ذِكْرُ بَعْضِهِ بِصَحِيحِ الأَخْبارِ وَ صَرِيحِ الاعْتِبارِ،
You also made this month especial with the Invocation Day on which You clearly showed the true faith to the atheists and bestowed a noble rank on those who prepared for it. You also placed other goods and secrets in it that shall be explained with clear narrations and sound reasons.

وَ جَعَلْتَهُ تَسْلِيَةً عَمّا يَأْتِي بَعْدَهُ مِنْ شَهْرِ الامْتِحانِ، فَبَدَأْتَ بالإِحْسانِ وَ الامْتِنانِ قَبْلَ التَّشْرِيفِ بِالرِّضا بِالْبَلْوى الزَّائِدَةِ فِي جِهادِ اهْلِ الْعُدْوانِ.
You also established it as a month in preparation for the next month being the month of trial. You started with Kindness and Favors after we encounter the contentment with manifold calamities that occurred in fighting the enemies.

اللَّهُمَّ فَكَما عَرَّفْتَنا بِشَرَفِ هذِهِ الْعَوائِدِ وَ دَعَوْتَنا الَى الضِّيافَةِ الى مُقَدَّسِ تِلْكَ الْمَوائِدِ،
O‟ my God!You honored us with the knowledge of these blessings and invited us to the party in which these tables are spread.

فَطَهِّرْنا تَطْهِيراً نَصْلَحُ بِهِ لِمُوافَقَةِ اهْلِ الطَّهارَةِ وَ مُرافَقَةِ فَضْلِ الْبِشارَةِ. وَ هَبْ لَنا فِيهِ ما يَعْجُزُ مِنْهُ مَنْطِقُ اهْلِ الْعِبارَةِ،
Please purify us such that we may deserve to be in the company of the pure ones and receive the favor of Your Glad Tidings. Please bestow on us what even the eloquent speakers are unable to express.

وَ هَبْ لَنا فِيهِ ما يَعْجُزُ مِنْهُ مَنْطِقُ اهْلِ الْعِبارَةِ، وَ لِيَكُونَ فَوائِدُ رَحْمَتِكَ وَ مَوائِدُ ضِيافَتِكَ صافِيَةً مِنَ الأَكْدارِ، وَ مَصُونَةً عَنْ خَطَرِ الْآصارِ، وَ مُناسِبَةً لِابْتِدائِكَ بِالنَّوالِ قَبْلَ السُّؤَالِ.وَ ابْدَأْ فِي ذلِكَ بِمَنْ يَسْتَفْتِحُ بِالْبِدايَةِ أَبْوابَ الْفَلاحِ وَ النَّجاحِ، وَ اشْرِكْ مَعَنا مَنْ يُعِيننا امْرُهُ،
The benefits of Your Mercy and Tablespread are free of impurities, protected from danger of sins, and is in line with bestowing before asking. Please start with those who first open the gates of prosperity and salvation, and let the people we care for be partners with us in this.

وَ اجْمَعْ قُلُوبَنا عَلَى الصَّلاحِ، بِرَحْمَتِكَ يا ارْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ.
Please unite our hearts in what is good with Your Mercy! O‟ the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.”
