اليوم الأول : قال العلماء يستحب فيه الصيام شكراً لله على ماأنعم من سلامة النبي وأمير المؤمنين صَلَواتُ الله وسَلامُهُ عَلَيهِما ، ومن المناسب زيارتهما عليهماالسلام في هذا اليوم وقد روى السيد في (الاقبال) دعاءً لهذا اليوم وفيه كانت وفاة الإمام الحسن العسكري عليهالسلام على قول الشيخ والكفعمي والمشهور على أنّها في اليوم الثامن. ولعل في هذا اليوم كان بدء مرضه عليهالسلام.
