اللّهُمَّ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ وَ أَنْتَ الرَّحْمنُ الرَّحِيمُ، وَ أَنْتَ الْمَلِكُ الْقُدُّوسُ، وَ أَنْتَ‌ السَّلامُ الْمُؤْمِنُ، وَ أَنْتَ الْمُهَيْمِنُ، وَ أَنْتَ الْعَزِيزُ، وَ أَنْتَ الْجَبَّارُ، وَ أَنْتَ الْمُتَكَبِّرُ، وَ أَنْتَ الْخالِقُ، وَ أَنْتَ الْبارِي‌ءُ، وَ أَنْتَ الْمُصَوِّرُ، وَ أَنْتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ، وَ أَنْتَ الْأَوَّلُ وَ الآخِرُ وَ الظَّاهِرُ وَ الْباطِنُ لَكَ الْأَسْماءُ الْحُسْنى‌.

O Allah, You are Allah and You are the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate, and You are the Sovereign, the Most Holy, and You are the Source of Peace, the Guardian of Faith, and You are the Protector, and You are the Mighty, and You are the Compeller, and You are the Supreme, and You are the Creator, and You are the Originator, and You are the Fashioner, and You are the Mighty, the Wise, and You are the First and the Last and the Manifest and the Hidden. To You belong the most beautiful names.

أَسْأَلُكَ يا رَبِّ بِحَقِّ هذِهِ الْأَسْماءِ، وَ بِحَقِّ أَسْمائِكَ كُلِّها أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلى‌ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ عَلى‌ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، وَ آتِنا اللّهُمَّ فِي الدُّنْيا حَسَنَةً وَ فِي الاخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً، وَ اخْتِمْ لَنا بِالسَّعادَةِ وَ الشَّهادَةِ فِي سَبِيلِكَ، وَ عَرِّفْنا بَرَكَةَ شَهْرِنا هذا وَ يُمْنَهُ، وَ ارْزُقْنا خَيْرَهُ، وَ اصْرِفْ عَنّا شَرَّهُ، وَ اجْعَلْنا فِيهِ مِنَ الْفائِزِينَ، وَ قِنا بِرَحْمَتِكَ‌ عَذابَ النّارِ يا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ، إِنَّكَ عَلى‌ كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ قَدِيرٌ.

I ask You, O my Lord, by the right of these names and by the right of all Your names, to send blessings upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad. And grant us, O Allah, goodness in this world and goodness in the Hereafter, and seal our end with felicity and martyrdom in Your cause. And acquaint us with the blessings and good fortune of this month of ours, and provide us with its goodness, and avert from us its evil, and make us among the successful therein, and protect us by Your mercy from the punishment of the Fire, O Most Merciful of the merciful; verily You have power over all things.

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعالَمِينَ‌، الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّماواتِ وَ الْأَرْضَ وَ جَعَلَ الظُّلُماتِ وَ النُّورَ، ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِرَبِّهِمْ يَعْدِلُونَ هُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُمْ مِنْ طِينٍ ثُمَّ قَضى‌ أَجَلًا وَ أَجَلٌ مُسَمًّى عِنْدَهُ ثُمَّ أَنْتُمْ تَمْتَرُونَ وَ هُوَ اللَّهُ فِي السَّماواتِ وَ فِي الْأَرْضِ يَعْلَمُ سِرَّكُمْ وَ جَهْرَكُمْ وَ يَعْلَمُ ما تَكْسِبُونَ‌- الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَنْزَلَ عَلى‌ عَبْدِهِ الْكِتابَ وَ لَمْ يَجْعَلْ لَهُ عِوَجاً قَيِّماً لِيُنْذِرَ بَأْساً شَدِيداً مِنْ لَدُنْهُ‌ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي لَهُ ما فِي السَّماواتِ وَ ما فِي الْأَرْضِ وَ لَهُ الْحَمْدُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ وَ هُوَ الْحَكِيمُ الْخَبِيرُ، الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ فاطِرِ السَّماواتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ جاعِلِ الْمَلائِكَةِ رُسُلًا أُولِي أَجْنِحَةٍ مَثْنى‌ وَ ثُلاثَ وَ رُباعَ يَزِيدُ فِي الْخَلْقِ ما يَشاءُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلى‌ كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ قَدِيرٌ ما يَفْتَحِ اللَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ مِنْ رَحْمَةٍ فَلا مُمْسِكَ لَها وَ ما يُمْسِكْ فَلا مُرْسِلَ لَهُ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ وَ هُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ‌.

All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of the worlds. All praise belongs to Allah who created the heavens and the earth and made darkness and light; yet those who disbelieve equate others with their Lord. He is the One who created you from clay, then decreed a term, and a specified term is with Him; yet you doubt. And He is Allah in the heavens and on the earth; He knows your secrets and your public declarations and He knows what you earn. All praise belongs to Allah who revealed the Book to His servant and placed no crookedness therein, upright, to warn of a severe punishment from Him. All praise belongs to Allah, to whom belongs what is in the heavens and what is on the earth, and to Him belongs all praise in the Hereafter, and He is the Wise, the All-Aware. All praise belongs to Allah, the Originator of the heavens and the earth, who made the angels messengers having wings, two and three and four; He increases in creation what He wills. Indeed, Allah has power over all things. Whatever mercy Allah opens for mankind, none can withhold it; and what He withholds, none can release it after Him. And He is the Mighty, the Wise.

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي هَدانا لِهذا وَ ما كُنَّا لِنَهْتَدِيَ لَوْ لا أَنْ هَدانَا اللَّهُ لَقَدْ جاءَتْ رُسُلُ رَبِّنا بِالْحَقِ‌- الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي وَهَبَ لِي عَلَى الْكِبَرِ إِسْماعِيلَ وَ إِسْحاقَ إِنَّ رَبِّي لَسَمِيعُ الدُّعاءِ- الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لا يَعْلَمُونَ‌.

All praise belongs to Allah who guided us to this, and we would not have been guided had Allah not guided us. Certainly the messengers of our Lord came with the truth. All praise belongs to Allah who granted me in old age Ismail and Ishaq; indeed my Lord hears supplication. All praise belongs to Allah, but most of them do not know.

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي نَجَّانا مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ‌- الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي فَضَّلَنا عَلى‌ كَثِيرٍ مِنْ عِبادِهِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ‌- الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ سَيُرِيكُمْ‌ آياتِهِ فَتَعْرِفُونَها وَ ما رَبُّكَ بِغافِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ‌- الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَذْهَبَ عَنَّا الْحَزَنَ إِنَّ رَبَّنا لَغَفُورٌ شَكُورٌ- الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي صَدَقَنا وَعْدَهُ وَ أَوْرَثَنَا الْأَرْضَ نَتَبَوَّأُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ حَيْثُ نَشاءُ فَنِعْمَ أَجْرُ الْعامِلِينَ.

All praise belongs to Allah who saved us from the wrongdoing people. All praise belongs to Allah who favored us over many of His believing servants. All praise belongs to Allah; He will show you His signs and you will recognize them, and your Lord is not heedless of what you do. All praise belongs to Allah who has removed from us sorrow; indeed our Lord is Forgiving, Appreciative. All praise belongs to Allah who has fulfilled His promise to us and made us inherit the earth, settling in Paradise wherever we wish; how excellent is the reward of those who act.

وَ تَرَى الْمَلائِكَةَ حَافِّينَ مِنْ حَوْلِ الْعَرْشِ يُسَبِّحُونَ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّهِمْ وَ قُضِيَ بَيْنَهُمْ بِالْحَقِّ وَ قِيلَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعالَمِينَ‌- فَلِلَّهِ الْحَمْدُ رَبِّ السَّماواتِ وَ رَبِّ الْأَرْضِ رَبِّ الْعالَمِينَ وَ لَهُ الْكِبْرِياءُ فِي السَّماواتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ وَ هُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ‌، الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي لَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَداً وَ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ شَرِيكٌ فِي الْمُلْكِ وَ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ وَلِيٌّ مِنَ الذُّلِّ وَ كَبِّرْهُ تَكْبِيراً.

And you will see the angels surrounding the Throne, glorifying the praises of their Lord, and it will be judged between them in truth, and it will be said: All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of the worlds. So to Allah belongs all praise, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth, Lord of the worlds. And to Him belongs grandeur in the heavens and the earth, and He is the Mighty, the Wise. All praise belongs to Allah who has not taken a son and has no partner in sovereignty and has no protector out of weakness; and magnify Him with great magnification.

اللّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ما سَلَفَ مِنْ ذُنُوبِي، وَ تَدارَكْنِي فِيما بَقِيَ مِنْ عُمْرِي، وَ قَوِّ ضَعْفِي لِلَّذِي خَلَقْتَنِي لَهُ، وَ حَبِّبْ إِلَيَّ الإِيمانَ، وَ زَيِّنْهُ فِي قَلْبِي، وَ قَدْ دَعَوْتُكَ كَما أَمَرْتَنِي فَاسْتَجِبْ لِي كَما وَعَدْتَنِي.

O Allah, forgive me my past sins, and attend to me in what remains of my life, and strengthen my weakness for that for which You created me, and make faith beloved to me and adorn it in my heart. And I have called upon You as You commanded me, so answer me as You promised me.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَصْبَحْتُ لَكَ عَبْداً لا أَسْتَطِيعُ دَفْعَ‌ ما أَكْرَهُ وَ لا أَمْلِكُ ما أَرْجُو، وَ أَصْبَحْتُ مُرْتَهِناً بِعَمَلِي فَلا فَقِيرَ أَفْقَرُ مِنِّي الَيْكَ يا رَبَّ الْعالَمِينَ، أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تَسْتَعْمِلَنِي عَمَلَ مَنِ اسْتَيْقَنَ حُضُورَ أَجَلِهِ لا بَلْ عَمَلَ مَنْ قَدْ ماتَ فَرَاى عَمَلَهُ وَ نَظَرَ إِلى‌ ثَوابِ عَمَلِهِ، إِنَّكَ عَلى‌ كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ قَدِيرٌ.

O Allah, I have begun the morning as Your servant, unable to repel what I dislike and not possessing what I hope for. And I have begun the morning mortgaged by my deeds. So there is no one poorer than I am toward You, O Lord of the worlds. I ask You to employ me with the work of one who is certain of the arrival of his appointed time — nay, rather the work of one who has died and seen his deeds and looked upon the reward of his deeds. Verily You have power over all things.

اللَّهُمَّ هذا مَكانُ الْعائِذِ بِرَحْمَتِكَ مِنْ عَذابِكَ، وَ هذا مَكانُ الْعائِذِ بِمُعافاتِكَ مِنْ غَضَبِكَ، اللّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِمَّنْ دَعاكَ فَأَجَبْتَهُ، وَ سَأَلَكَ فَأَعْطَيْتَهُ، وَ آمَنَ بِكَ فَهَدَيْتَهُ، وَ تَوَكَّلَ عَلَيْكَ فَكَفَيْتَهُ، وَ تَقَرَّبَ إِلَيْكَ فَأَدْنَيْتَهُ، وَ افْتَقَرَ إِلَيْكَ فَأَغْنَيْتَهُ، وَ اسْتَغْفَرَكَ فَغَفَرْتَ لَهُ وَ رَضِيتَ عَنْهُ وَ أَرْضَيْتَهُ‌ وَ هَدَيْتَهُ إِلى‌ مَرْضاتِكَ، وَ اسْتَعْمَلْتَهُ بِطاعَتِكَ، وَ لِذلِكَ فَرَّعْتَهُ أَبَداً ما أَحْيَيْتَهُ.

O Allah, this is the station of one who seeks refuge in Your mercy from Your punishment, and this is the station of one who seeks refuge in Your pardon from Your wrath. O Allah, make me among those who called upon You and You answered them, and who asked You and You gave them, and who believed in You and You guided them, and who relied upon You and You sufficed them, and who drew near to You and You brought them closer, and who were in need of You and You made them self-sufficient, and who sought Your forgiveness and You forgave them and were pleased with them and made them pleased, and You guided them to Your good pleasure, and You employed them in Your obedience, and for that You kept them ever joyful as long as You kept them alive.

فَتُبْ عَلَيَّ يا رَبِّ وَ أَعْطِنِي سُؤْلِي وَ لا تَحْرِمْنِي شَيْئاً مِمَّا سَأَلْتُكَ، وَ اكْفِنِي شَرَّ ما يَعْمَلُ الظّالِمُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ، وَ أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ الَّذِي لا إِلهَ إِلَّا هُوَ، الَّذِي لا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا هُوَ.

So accept my repentance, O my Lord, and grant me my request, and do not deprive me of anything I have asked You. And suffice me against the evil that the wrongdoers do on earth. And I seek forgiveness from Allah besides whom there is no god, the One who alone forgives sins.

اللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى‌ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ عَلى‌ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، وَ أَعِنِّي عَلَى الدُّنْيا وَ ارْزُقْنِي خَيْرَها وَ كَرِّهْ إِلَيَّ الْكُفْرَ وَ الْفُسُوقَ وَ الْعِصْيانَ، وَ اجْعَلْنِي مِنَ الرَّاشِدِينَ.

O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad, and help me with the affairs of this world and provide me with its goodness, and make disbelief, immorality, and disobedience hateful to me, and make me among the rightly guided.

للّهُمَّ قَوِّنِي لِعِبادَتِكَ وَ اسْتَعْمِلْنِي فِي طاعَتِكَ وَ بَلِّغْنِي الَّذِي أَرْجُو مِنْ رَحْمَتِكَ يا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ، اللّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الرَّيَّ يَوْمَ الظِّماءِ وَ النَّجاةَ يَوْمَ الْفَزَعِ الْأَكْبَرِ، وَ الْفَوْزَ يَوْمَ الْحِسابِ، وَ الْأَمْنَ يَوْمَ الْخَوْفِ. وَ أَسْأَلُكَ النَّظَرَ إِلى‌ وَجْهِكَ الْكَرِيمِ، وَ الْخُلُودَ فِي جَنَّتِكَ فِي دارِ الْمُقامَةِ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ وَ السُّجُودَ يَوْمَ يُكْشَفُ عَنْ ساقٍ، وَ الظِّلَّ يَوْمَ لا ظِلَّ إِلَّا ظِلُّكَ، وَ مُرافَقَةَ أَنْبِيائِكَ وَ رُسُلِكَ وَ أَوْلِيائِكَ.

O Allah, strengthen me for Your worship and employ me in Your obedience, and grant me what I hope for from Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful. O Allah, I ask You for quenching on the day of thirst, and salvation on the day of the great terror, and success on the day of reckoning, and security on the day of fear. And I ask You for the vision of Your noble countenance, and eternal abode in Your Paradise in the dwelling of permanence from Your grace, and prostration on the day when the shin shall be laid bare, and shade on the day when there is no shade but Your shade, and the companionship of Your prophets and messengers and friends.

اللّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ما قَدَّمْتُ مِنْ ذُنُوبِي وَ ما أَخَّرْتُ وَ ما أَسْرَرْتُ وَ ما أَعْلَنْتُ، وَ ما أَسْرَفْتُ عَلى‌ نَفْسِي وَ ما أَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّي، وَ ارْزُقْنِي التُّقى‌ وَ الْهُدى‌ وَ الْعِفافَ وَ الْغِنى‌، وَ وَفِّقْنِي لِلْعَمَلِ بِما تُحِبُّ وَ تَرْضَى.

O Allah, forgive me my past sins and my future sins, and what I concealed and what I disclosed, and my excess against myself and what You know better than I. And provide me with piety, guidance, chastity, and self-sufficiency, and grant me success to act upon what You love and are pleased with.

للّهُمَّ أَصْلِحْ لِي دِينِي الَّذِي هُوَ عِصْمَةُ أَمْرِي، وَ أَصْلِحْ لِي دُنْيايَ الَّتِي فِيها مَعاشِي، وَ أَصْلِحْ لِي آخِرَتِي الَّتِي إِلَيْها مُنْقَلَبِي، وَ اجْعَلِ الْحَياةَ زِيادَةً لِي فِي كُلِّ خَيْرٍ، وَ اجْعَلِ الْمَوْتَ راحَةً لِي مِنْ كُلِّ سُوءٍ.

O Allah, set right for me my religion which is the safeguard of my affairs, and set right for me my worldly life in which is my livelihood, and set right for me my Hereafter to which is my return. And make life an increase for me in every good, and make death a comfort for me from every evil.

اللّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ يا رَبَّ الْأَرْبابِ وَ يا سَيِّدَ السَّاداتِ، وَ يا مالِكَ الْمُلُوكِ، أَنْ تَرْحَمَنِي وَ تَسْتَجِيبَ لِي وَ تُصْلِحَنِي فَإِنَّهُ لا يُصْلِحُ مَنْ صَلُحَ مِنْ عِبادِكَ إِلّا أَنْتَ، فَإِنَّكَ أَنْتَ رَبِّي وَ ثِقَتِي وَ رَجائِي وَ مَوْلايَ وَ مَلْجَئِي، وَ لا راحِمَ لِي غَيْرُكَ، وَ لا مُغِيثَ لِي سِواكَ، وَ لا مالِكَ سِواكَ وَ لا مُجِيبَ إِلّا أَنْتَ، أَنَا عَبْدُكَ وَ ابْنُ عَبْدِكَ وَ ابْنُ أَمَتِكَ الْخاطِئُ الَّذِي وَسِعَتْهُ رَحْمَتُكَ، وَ أَنْتَ الْعالِمُ بِحالِي وَ حاجَتِي وَ كَثْرَةِ ذُنُوبِي، وَ الْمُطَّلِعُ عَلى‌ أُمُورِي‌ كُلِّها، فَأَسْأَلُكَ يا لا إِلهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ أَنْ تَغْفِرَ لِي ما تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِي وَ ما تَأَخَّرَ.

O Allah, I ask You, O Lord of lords and O Master of masters and O King of kings, to have mercy upon me and to answer me and to set me right, for none sets right anyone who has been set right among Your servants except You. For You are my Lord and my trust and my hope and my master and my refuge, and there is none who has mercy on me other than You, and no rescuer for me besides You, and no sovereign besides You, and no answerer except You. I am Your servant and the son of Your servant and the son of Your handmaid, the erring one whom Your mercy has encompassed. And You are the Knower of my condition and my need and the abundance of my sins, and You are aware of all my affairs. So I ask You, O the One besides whom there is no god, to forgive me my past sins and my future sins.

اللّهُمَّ لا تَدَعْ لِي ذَنْباً إِلّا غَفَرْتَهُ، وَ لا هَمّاً إِلّا فَرَّجْتَهُ، وَ لا حاجَةً هِيَ لَكَ رضى إِلّا قَضَيْتَها، وَ لا عَيْباً إِلّا أَصْلَحْتَهُ، اللّهُمَّ وَ آتِنِي‌ فِي الدُّنْيا حَسَنَةً وَ فِي‌ الاخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَ قِنِي عَذابَ النّارِ، اللّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلى‌ أَهْوالِ الدُّنْيا وَ بَوائِقِ‌ الدُّهُورِ، وَ مُصِيباتِ اللَّيالِي وَ الْأَيّامِ.

O Allah, leave no sin for me except that You forgive it, and no grief except that You relieve it, and no need in which is Your pleasure except that You fulfill it, and no fault except that You mend it. O Allah, grant me goodness in this world and goodness in the Hereafter and protect me from the punishment of the Fire. O Allah, help me against the terrors of the world and the calamities of time and the afflictions of nights and days.

اللّهُمَّ وَ احْرُسْنِي مِنْ شَرِّ ما يَعْمَلُ الظّالِمُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَإِنَّهُ لا حَوْلَ وَ لا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِكَ، اللّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ إِيماناً ثابِتاً، وَ عَمَلًا مُتَقَبِّلًا، وَ دُعاءً مُسْتَجاباً وَ يَقِيناً صادِقاً، وَ قَوْلًا طَيِّباً، وَ قَلْباً شاكِراً، وَ بَدَناً صابِراً، وَ لِساناً ذاكِراً، اللّهُمَّ أَنْزِعْ حُبَّ الدُّنْيا وَ مَعاصِيها وَ ذِكْرَها وَ شَهْوَتَها مِنْ قَلْبِي.

O Allah, guard me from the evil of what the wrongdoers do on earth, for there is no might and no power except with You. O Allah, I ask You for steadfast faith, accepted deeds, answered supplication, truthful certitude, virtuous speech, a grateful heart, a patient body, and a tongue that remembers You. O Allah, remove from my heart the love of this world, its sins, its remembrance, and its desires.

للّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ بِكَرَمِكَ تَشْكُرُ الْيَسِيرَ مِنْ عَمَلِي فَاغْفِرْ لِيَ الْكَثِيرَ مِنْ ذُنُوبِي، وَ كُنْ لِي وَلِيّاً وَ نَصِيراً وَ مُعِيناً وَ حافِظاً، اللّهُمَّ هَبْ لِي قَلْباً أَشَدَّ رَهْبَةً لَكَ مِنْ قَلْبِي، وَ لِساناً أَدْوَمَ لَكَ ذِكْراً مِنْ لِسانِي، وَ جِسْماً أَقْوى‌ عَلى‌ طاعَتِكَ وَ عِبادَتِكَ مِنْ جِسْمِي.

O Allah, by Your generosity You appreciate the little from my deeds, so forgive the abundance of my sins. And be for me a guardian, a helper, a supporter, and a protector. O Allah, grant me a heart that fears You more intensely than my heart does, and a tongue that remembers You more constantly than my tongue does, and a body that is stronger in Your obedience and worship than my body.

اللّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ زَوالِ نِعْمَتِكَ، وَ مِنْ فُجْأَةِ نِقْمَتِكَ، وَ مِنْ تَحْوِيلِ‌ عافِيَتِكَ، وَ مِنْ هَوْلِ غَضَبِكَ، وَ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ جُهْدِ الْبَلاءِ، وَ مِنْ دَرَكِ الشَّقاءِ، وَ مِنْ شَماتَةِ الْأَعْداءِ وَ سُوءِ الْقَضاءِ فِي الدُّنْيا وَ الاخِرَةِ.

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the decline of Your blessings, and from the suddenness of Your retribution, and from the change of Your well-being, and from the horror of Your wrath. And I seek refuge in You from the severity of trial, and from the reach of wretchedness, and from the gloating of enemies, and from evil destiny in this world and the Hereafter.

اللّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِاسْمِكَ الْكَرِيمِ، وَ عَرْشِكَ الْعَظِيمِ، وَ مُلْكِكَ الْقَدِيمِ، يا وَهّابَ الْعَطايا، وَ يا مُطْلِقَ الأُسارى‌، وَ يا فَكّاكَ الرِّقابِ، وَ يا كاشِفَ الْعَذابِ، أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تُخْرِجَنِي مِنَ الدُّنْيا سالِماً غانِماً، وَ أَنْ تُدْخِلَنِي الْجَنَّةَ بِرَحْمَتِكَ آمِناً، وَ أَنْ تَجْعَلَ أَوَّلَ شَهْرِي هذا صَلاحاً وَ أَوْسَطَهُ فَلاحاً وَ آخِرَهُ نَجاحاً، إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ عَلّامُ الْغُيُوبِ‌

O Allah, I ask You by Your noble Name, and Your great Throne, and Your eternal dominion: O Bestower of gifts, O Liberator of captives, O Freer of the enslaved, O Remover of punishment — I ask You to bring me out of this world safely and gainfully, and to admit me into Paradise by Your mercy in safety, and to make the beginning of this month of mine righteousness, its middle success, and its end prosperity. Verily You are the Knower of the unseen.
