O Allah let me make amends and compensate for my wrong doings, (so that) my religion becomes pure and O Allah remove the dirt from me

  9. 9

O Allah, whoever has prepared and readied himself on this day, and equipped and made himself ready to visit a created being in hope of his gifts, bounties, favors, and presents — then indeed, unto You, O my Master, is my preparation, my equipping, my readiness, and my anticipation, in hope of Your gifts, Your rewards, Your bounties, Your favors, Your merits, and Your presents. And I have set out to a festival among the festivals of the nation of Your Prophet Muhammad, blessings of Allah be upon him and his Household, yet I have not come to You today with a righteous deed in which I have confidence that I have offered, nor have I turned to any created being as my recourse; but I have come to You submissive, confessing my sins and my wrongdoing against myself. So, O Magnificent! O Magnificent! O Magnificent! Forgive the magnitude of my sins, for indeed none forgives grave sins save You. O He save Whom there is no god! O Most Merciful of all those who show mercy!

  10. 11

I seek refuge with Thee from the Fire whose hot flames do not get extinguished or grow dim,

  11. 12

whose energetic intensity does not loose its severity,

  12. 13

wherein parched throats never get quenched

  13. 14

O Allah do not throw me down head on into the Fire after I have prostrated in adoration before Thee and thrown myself on the ground to humble myself before Thee; it is not a show of favour from me unto Thee but it is (Thy) merciful benevolence Thou bestows on me.

  14. 15

Have mercy on him who has transgressed and committed blunders, (but) now ashamed surrenders (to Thee) to receive absolution

  15. 16

I am a troublesome servant but Thou art the bountiful Lord-Nourisher. A great many mistakes have been committed by Thy servant but O Compassionate, from Thee (only) Lenient treatment is expected

  16. 17

(I plead for) pardon; (I plead for) pardon.
