Short Duas for the Days of ramadan

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ صِيامِي فِيْهِ صِيامَ الصَّائِمِينَ ، وَقِيامِي فِيْهِ قِيامَ القائِمِينَ ، وَنَبِّهْنِي فِيْهِ عَنْ نَوْمَةِ الغافِلِينَ ، وَهَبْ لِي جُرْمِي فِيهِ يا ألهَ العالَمِينَ ، وَاعْفُ عَنِّي يا عافِيا عَنِ المُجْرِمِينَ.

O Allah, make my fasting in it the fasting of those who truly fast, and my standing in prayer the standing of those who truly pray, and awaken me in it from the slumber of the heedless, and forgive my sins in it, O God of the worlds, and pardon me, O Pardoner of sinners.

اللَّهُمَّ قَرِّبْنِي فِيْهِ إِلى مَرْضاتِكَ ، وَجَنِّبْنِي فِيْهِ مِنْ سَخَطِكَ وَنَقِماتِكَ ، وَوَفِّقْنِي فِيْهِ لِقِرأَةِ آياتِكَ ، بِرَحْمَتِكَ يا أرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ.

O Allah, bring me closer in it to Your pleasure, and keep me away in it from Your wrath and punishment, and grant me the ability in it to recite Your verses, by Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful.

اللَّهُمَّ ارْزُقْنِي فِيْهِ الذِّهْنَ وَالتَّنْبِيهَ ، وَباعِدْنِي فِيْهِ مِنَ السَّفاهَةِ وَالتَّمْويهِ ، وَاجْعَلْ لِي نَصِيبا مِنْ كُلِّ خَيْرٍ تُنْزِلُ فِيْهِ بِجُودِكَ ، يا أَجْوَدَ الاَجْوَدِينَ.

O Allah, grant me in it intelligence and awareness, and keep me away in it from foolishness and deception, and give me a share of every good that You send down in it, by Your generosity, O Most Generous of the generous.

اللَّهُمَّ قَوِّنِي فِيْهِ عَلئ إِقامَةِ أَمْرِكَ ، وَأَذِقْنِي فِيْهِ حَلاوَةَ ذِكْرِكَ ، وَأَوْزِعْنِي فِيْهِ لاَداءِ شُكْرِكَ بِكَرَمِكَ ، وَاحْفَظْنِي فِيْهِ بِحِفْظِكَ وَسَترِكَ ، يا أبْصَرَ النَّاظِرِينَ.

O Allah, strengthen me in it to establish Your commands, and make me taste in it the sweetness of Your remembrance, and enable me in it to give thanks to You through Your generosity, and protect me in it by Your protection and covering, O Most Seeing of the seers.

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي فِيْهِ مِنْ المُسْتَغْفِرِينَ ، واجْعَلْنِي فِيْهِ مِنْ عِبادِكَ الصَّالِحينَ ، واجْعَلْنِي فِيْهِ مِنْ أَوْلِيائِكَ المُقَرَّبِينَ ، بَرَأْفَتِكَ يا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ.

O Allah, make me in it among those who seek forgiveness, and make me in it among Your righteous servants, and make me in it among Your close friends, by Your compassion, O Most Merciful of the merciful.

اللَّهُمَّ لاتَخْذُلْنِي فِيْهِ لِتَعَرُّضِ مَعْصِيَتِكَ ، وَلا تَضْرِبْنِي بِسِياطِ نَقْمَتِكَ ،وَزَحْزِحْنِيِ فِيْهِ مِنْ مُوجِباتِ سَخَطِكَ ، بِمَنِّكَ وَأَيادِيكَ يا مُنْتَهى رَغْبَةِ الرَّاغِبِينَ.

O Allah, do not forsake me in it for exposure to Your disobedience, and do not strike me with the whips of Your punishment, and keep me away in it from the causes of Your wrath, by Your grace and Your favors, O the ultimate desire of the seekers.

اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي فِيْهِ عَلى صِيامِهِ وَقِيامِهِ ، وَجَنِّبْنِي فِيْهِ مِنْ هَفَواتِهِ وَآثامِهِ ، وَارْزُقْنِي فِيْهِ ذِكْرَكَ بِدَوامِهِ ، بِتَوْفِيقِكَ يا هادِيَ المُضِلِّينَ.

O Allah, help me in it with its fasting and prayer, and keep me away in it from its mistakes and sins, and grant me in it Your constant remembrance, by Your guidance, O Guide of those who are astray.

اللَّهُمَّ ارْزُقْنِي فِيْهِ رَحْمَةَ الاَيْتامِ ، وَإِطْعامَ الطَّعامِ ، وَإِفْشاءَ السَّلامُ ، وَصُحْبَةَ الكِرامِ ، بِطَوْلِكَ يا مَلْجَأَ الامِلِينَ

O Allah, grant me in it mercy toward orphans, and feeding the hungry, and spreading peace, and the company of the noble, by Your beneficence, O Refuge of the hopeful.

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ لِي فِيْهِ نَصِيبا مِنْ رَحْمَتِكَ الواسِعَةِ ، وَاهْدِنِي فِيْهِ لِبَراهِينِكَ السَّاطِعَةِ ، وَخُذْ بِناصِيَتِي إِلى مَرْضاتِكَ الجامِعَةِ ، بِمَحَبَّتِكَ يا أَمَلَ المُشْتاقِينَ.

O Allah, grant me in it a share of Your expansive mercy, and guide me in it to Your clear proofs, and lead me to Your comprehensive pleasure, by Your love, O Hope of the yearning.

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي فِيْهِ مِنْ المُتَوَكِّلِينَ عَلَيْكَ ، وَاجْعَلْنِي فِيْهِ مِنْ الفائِزِينَ لَدَيْكَ ، وَاجْعَلْنِي فِيْهِ مِنْ المُقَرَّبِينَ إِلَيْكَ ، بِإحْسانِكَ يا غايَةَ الطَّالِبِينَ.

O Allah, make me in it among those who trust in You, and make me in it among the successful before You, and make me in it among those close to You, by Your kindness, O Goal of the seekers.

اللَّهُمَّ حَبِّبْ إلى فِيْهِ الاِحْسانَ ، وَكَرِّهْ إلى فِيْهِ الفُسُوقَ وَالعِصْيانَ ، وَحَرِّمْ عَلَيَّ فِيْهِ السَّخَطَ وَالنِّيرانَ ، بِعَوْنِكَ يا غِياثَ المُسْتَغِيثِينَ.

O Allah, make dear to me in it doing good, and make hateful to me in it wickedness and disobedience, and forbid upon me in it wrath and hellfire, by Your help, O Helper of those who seek help.

اللَّهُمَّ زَيِّنِّي فِيْهِ بِالسِّتْرِ وَالعَفافِ ، وَاسْتُرْنِي فِيْهِ بِلِباسِ القُنُوعِ وَالكَفافِ ، وَاحْمِلْنِي فِيْهِ عَلى العَدْلِ وَالاِنْصافِ ، وَآمِنِّي فِيْهِ مِنْ كُلِّ ما أَخافُ بِعِصْمَتِكَ يا عِصْمَةَ الخائِفِينَ.

O Allah, adorn me in it with concealment and chastity, and clothe me in it with the garment of contentment and sufficiency, and make me bear in it justice and fairness, and keep me safe in it from all that I fear, by Your protection, O Protector of the fearful.

اللَّهُمَّ طَهِّرْنِي فِيْهِ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ وَالاَقْذارِ ، وَصَبِّرْنِي فِيْهِ عَلى كائِناتِ الاَقْدارِ ، وَوَفِّقْنِي فِيْهِ لِلتُّقى وَصُحْبَةِ الاَبْرارِ ، بِعَوْنِكَ يا قُرَّةَ عَيْنِ المَساكِينِ.

O Allah, purify me in it from impurity and filth, and make me patient in it over the occurrences of destiny, and grant me in it piety and the company of the righteous, by Your help, O Delight of the eyes of the destitute.

اللَّهُمَّ لا تؤاخِذْنِي فِيْهِ بِالعَثَراتِ ، وَأَقِلْنِي فِيْهِ مِنَ الخَطايا وَالهَفَواتِ ، وَلا تَجْعَلْنِي فِيْهِ غَرَضا لِلْبَلايا وَالآفاتِ ، بِعِزَّتِكَ يا عِزَّ المُسْلِمِينَ.

O Allah, do not take me to task in it for my stumbles, and forgive me in it my sins and slips, and do not make me in it a target for calamities and afflictions, by Your honor, O Honor of the Muslims.

اللَّهُمَّ ارْزُقْنِي فِيْهِ طاعَةَ الخاشِعِينَ ، وَاشْرَحْ فِيْهِ صَدْرِي بِإنابَةِ المُخْبِتِينَ ، بِأَمانِكَ يا أَمانَ الخائِفِينَ.

O Allah, grant me in it the obedience of the humble, and expand my chest in it with the repentance of the submissive, by Your security, O Security of the fearful.

اللَّهُمَّ وَفِّقْنِي فِيْهِ لِمُوافَقَةِ الاَبْرارِ ، وَجَنِّبْنِي فِيهِ مُرافَقَةَ الاَشْرارِ ، وَآوِنِي فِيْهِ بِرَحْمَتِكَ إِلى دارِ [١] القَرارِ ، بِإِلهِيَّتِكَ يا ألهَ العالَمِينَ.

O Allah, grant me in it success in accompanying the righteous, and keep me away in it from the company of the wicked, and shelter me in it by Your mercy to the abode of permanence, by Your divinity, O God of the worlds.

اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِنِي فِيْهِ لِصالِحِ الاَعْمالِ ، وَاقْضِ لِي فِيْهِ الحَوائِجَ وَالامالِ يا مَنْ لا يَحْتاجُ إِلى التَّفْسِيرِ وَالسُّؤالِ ، يا عالِماً بِما فِي صُدُورِ العالَمِينَ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ الطِّاهِرِينَ

O Allah, guide me in it to righteous deeds, and fulfill in it my needs and hopes, O He Who needs no explanation or questioning, O Knower of what is in the hearts of all creation, bless Muhammad and his pure family.

اللَّهُمَّ نَبِّهْنِي فِيْهِ لِبَرَكاتِ أَسْحارِهِ ، وَنَوِّرْ فِيْهِ قَلْبِي بِضِياءِ أَنْوارِهِ ، وَخُذْ بِكُلِّ أَعْضائِي إِلى اتِّباعِ آثارِهِ ، بِنُورِكَ يا مُنِّورَ قُلُوبِ العارِفِين.

O Allah, awaken me in it to the blessings of its pre-dawns, and illuminate my heart in it with the radiance of its lights, and take all my limbs to follow its traces, by Your light, O Illuminator of the hearts of the gnostics.

اللَّهُمَّ وَفِّرْ فِيْهِ حَظِّي مِنْ بَرَكاتِهِ ، وَسَهِّلْ سَبِيلِي إِلى خَيْراتِهِ ، وَلا تَحْرِمْنِي قَبُولَ حَسَناتِهِ ، يا هادِيا إِلى الحَقِّ المُبِينِ.

O Allah, increase my share in it of its blessings, and ease my path to its good deeds, and do not deprive me of the acceptance of its good deeds, O Guide to the clear truth.

اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي فِيْهِ أَبْوابَ الجِنانِ ، وَأَغْلِقْ عَنِّي فِيْهِ أَبْوابَ النِّيْرانِ ، وَوَفِّقْنِي فِيْهِ لِتِلاوَةِ القُرْآنِ ، يا مُنْزِلَ السَّكِينَةِ فِي قُلُوبِ المُؤْمِنِينَ.

O Allah, open for me in it the gates of Paradise, and close from me in it the gates of Hellfire, and grant me in it the ability to recite the Quran, O Sender of tranquility into the hearts of the believers.

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ لِي فِيْهِ إِلى مَرْضاتِكَ دَلِيلا ، وَلا تَجْعَلْ لِلْشَّيْطانِ فِيْهِ عَلَيَّ سَبِيلاً وَاجْعَلْ الجَنَّةَ لِي مَنْزِلاً وَمَقِيلاً ، يا قاضِيَ حَوائِج الطَّالِبِينَ.

O Allah, make for me in it a guide to Your pleasure, and do not give Satan in it any way over me, and make Paradise my dwelling and resting place, O Fulfiller of the needs of the seekers.

اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي فِيْهِ أَبْوابَ فَضْلِكَ ، وَأَنْزِلْ عَلَيَّ فِيْهِ بَرَكاتِكَ ، وَوَفِّقْنِي فِيْهِ لِمُوجِباتِ مَرْضاتِكَ ، وَأَسْكِنِّي فِيْهِ بَحْبُوحاتِ جَنَّاتِكَ ، يا مُجِيبَ دَعْوَةِ المُضْطَرِّينَ.

O Allah, open for me in it the doors of Your bounty, and send down upon me in it Your blessings, and grant me in it the means to Your pleasure, and house me in it in the expanses of Your gardens, O Answerer of the call of the distressed.

اللَّهُمَّ اغْسِلْنِي فِيْهِ مِنَ الذُّنُوبِ ، وَطَهِّرْنِي فِيْهِ مِنَ العُيُوبِ ، وَامْتَحِنْ قَلْبِي فِيْهِ بِتَقْوى القُلُوبِ ، يا مُقِيلَ عَثَراتِ المُذْنِبِينَ.

O Allah, wash me in it from sins, and purify me in it from defects, and test my heart in it with the piety of hearts, O Pardoner of the stumbles of sinners.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ فِيْهِ ما يُرْضِيكَ ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِمّا يُؤْذِيكَ ،وَأَسْأَلُكَ التَّوْفِيقَ فِيْهِ لاَنْ اُطِيعَكَ وَلا أَعْصِيكَ ، يا جَوادَ السَّائِلِينَ.

O Allah, I ask You in it for what pleases You, and I seek refuge in You from what harms You, and I ask You for the ability in it to obey You and not disobey You, O Generous to the askers.

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي فِيْهِ مُحِبّا لاَوْلِيآئِكَ ، وَمُعادِيا لاَعْدائِكَ ، مُسْتَنّا بِسُنَّةِ خاتَمِ أَنْبِيائِكَ ، يا عاصِمَ قُلُوبِ النَّبِيِّينَ.

O Allah, make me in it a lover of Your friends, and an enemy of Your enemies, following the tradition of the seal of Your prophets, O Protector of the hearts of the prophets.

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ سَعْيِي فِيْهِ مَشْكُوراً ، وَذَنْبِي فِيْهِ مَغْفُوراً ، وَعَمَلِي فِيْهِ مَقْبُولاً ، وَعَيْبِي فِيْهِ مَسْتُوراً ، يا أسْمَعَ السَّامِعِينَ.

O Allah, make my striving in it appreciated, and my sin in it forgiven, and my deed in it accepted, and my defect in it concealed, O Most Hearing of the hearers.

اللَّهُمَّ ارْزُقْنِي فِيْهِ فَضْلَ لَيْلَةِ القَدْرِ ، وَصَيِّرْ اُمُورِي فِيْهِ مِنَ العُسْرِ إِلى اليُسْرِ ، وَاقْبَلْ مَعاذِيرِي ، وَحُطَّ عَنِّي الذَّنْبَ وَالوِزْرَ ، يا رَؤُوفاً بِعِبادِهِ الصَّالِحِينَ.

O Allah, grant me in it the merit of the Night of Power, and change my affairs in it from difficulty to ease, and accept my excuses, and remove from me sin and burden, O Compassionate to His righteous servants.

اللَّهُمَّ وَفِّرْ حَظِّي فِيْهِ مِنَ النَّوافِلِ ، وَأَكْرِمْنِي فِيْهِ بِإِحْضارِ المَسائِلِ ، وَقَرِّبْ فِيْهِ [١] وَسِيلَتِي إِليكَ مِنْ بَيْنِ الوَسائِلِ ، يا مَنْ لا يَشْغَلُهُ إِلْحاحُ المُلِحِّينَ.

O Allah, increase my share in it of the voluntary prayers, and honor me in it by attending to my needs, and bring closer in it my means to You from among all means, O He Who is not distracted by the insistence of the insistent.

اللَّهُمَّ غَشِّنِّي فِيْهِ بِالرَّحْمَةِ ، وَارْزُقْنِي فِيْهِ التَّوْفِيقَ وَالعِصْمَةَ وَطَهِّرْ قَلْبِي مِنْ غَياهِبِ التُّهْمَةِ ، يا رَحِيماً بِعِبادِهِ المُؤْمِنِينَ.

O Allah, cover me in it with mercy, and grant me in it success and protection, and purify my heart from the darkness of suspicion, O Merciful to His believing servants.

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ صِيامِي فِيْهِ بِالشُّكْرِ وَالقَبُولِ عَلى ما تَرْضاهُ وَيَرْضاهُ الرَّسُولُ مُحْكَمَةً فُرُوعَهُ بِالاُصُولِ ، بِحَقِّ سَيِّدِنا مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ الطَّاهِرِينَ ، وَالحَمْدُ للهِ رَبِّ العالَمِين.

O Allah, make my fasting in it with gratitude and acceptance, as You and the Messenger would be pleased with, its branches made firm by its roots, for the sake of our master Muhammad and his pure family, and all praise belongs to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
