It is something impossible, for if the angels of seven heavens — The virtue of the dua — Here the Holy Prophet (SAW) said to Gabriel: What is the virtue of these words? Gabriel said: Far away! Far away! It is something impossible, for if the angels of seven heavens and seven earths gather
1يَا مَنْ اَظْهَرَ الْجَمِيْلَ وَ سَتَرَ الْقَبِيْحَ،
O You who reveal beauty and conceal ugly things!

يَا مَنْ لَمْ يُؤَاخِذْ بِالْجَرِيْرَۃِ وَ لَمْ يَـهْـتِـکِ السِّتْرَ،
O You who do not take a wrongdoer to task and do not tear the veil!
- 3
يَا عَظِيْمَ الْعَفْوِ، يَا حَسَنَ التَّجَاوُزِ،
O You who are Great Forgiver! O You who have the great forbearance!

يَا وَاسِعَ الْمَغْـفِـرَۃِ، يَا بَاسِطَ الْيَدَيْنِ بِالرَّحْمَۃِ،
O You who have pardon abounding! O You who have opened Your hands for mercy!
- 5
يَا صَاحِبَ کُـلِّ نَجْويٰ، وَيَا مُنْتَهٰي کُلِّ شَکْويٰ،
O Hearer of all whisperings! O You to whom all complaints are made!
- 6
يَا کَرِيْمَ الصَّفْحِ، يَا عَظِيْمَ الْمَـنِّ، يَا مُبْتَدِئًا بِالنِّعَـمِ قَبْلَ اسْـتِحْقَـاقِـهَا،
O Noble face! O Possessor of great favor! O You who give blessings to Your servants when they do not deserve it!

يَا سَـيِّـدَنَـا، يَا رَبَّـنَا، يَا مَوْلاَنَا، يَا غَايَۃَ رَغْـبَـتـِنَا،
O our Master! O our Lord! O our Guardian! O the Goal of our desires!

اَسْـاَلُـکَ يَا اَللّٰهُ و اَنْ لاَ تُـشَـوِّهُ خَـلْـقِـي بِالـنَّـارِ۔
I beseech You O God! not to make my being ugly with Fire.

اَسْئَلُكَ بِحَقِّ هٰذِهِ الْاَسْمَاءِ، وَ بِحَقِّ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ الطَّاهِرِيْنَ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلاَمُ، اِلاَّ مَا كَشَفْتَ كَرْبِىْ، وَ نَفَّسْتَ هَمِّىْ، وَ فَرَّجْتَ عَنِىْ، وَ اَصْلَحْتَ حَالِيْ.
