Istikharah Fom Quran

It is worth mentioning that ‘Allamah al-Majlisi has reported from some books written by our scholars on the authority of a book handwritten by Shaykh Yusuf al-’Uthmani on the authority of a book handwritten by Ayatollah ‘Allamah who said that Imam al-Sadiq (‘a) is reported to have said: If you intend for Istikharah( ) from the Mighty Book (i.e. the Holy Qur’an), you may say this supplicatory prayer:

إنْ كانَ في قَضائِكَ وَقَدَرِكَ أَنْ تَمُنَّ عَلى شِيعَةِ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ عليهم‌السلام بِفَرَجِ وَلِيِّكَ وَحُجَّتِكَ عَلى خَلْقِكَ فَاخْرِجْ إلَيْنا آيَةً مِنْ كِتابِكَ نَسْتَدِلُّ بِها عَلى ذلِكَ.
