Monday Rites. — 4th Imam dua — Sy Fatima(sa)dua — Imam Ali(as)dua — Ziyarats — Tasbih — Salats — Night — Monday Dua of Imam Zainul Abideen (peace be upon him)

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

bismillahi alrrahmani alrrahimi

In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي لَمْ يُشْهِدْ أَحَداً

alhamdu lillahi alladhi lam yushhid ahadan

Praise be to Allah Who allowed none to witness

حِيـنَ فَطَرَ ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ وَٱلأَرْضَ

hina fatara assamawati wal-arda

when He created the heavens and the earth,

وَلاَ ٱتَّخَذَ مُعِيناً حِيـنَ بَرَأَ ٱلنَّسَمَاتِ

wa lattakhadha muʿinan hina baraʿa annasamati

and Who took no helper when He authored the spirits!

لَمْ يُشَارَكْ فِي ٱلإِلٰهِيَّةِ

lam yusharak fil-ilahiyyati

He has no associate in Divinity

وَلَمْ يُظاهَرْ فِي ٱلْوَحْدَانِيَّةِ

wa lam yuzahar filwahdaniyyati

and no support in Unity.

كَلَّتِ ٱلأَلْسُنُ عَنْ غَايَةِ صِفَتِهِ

kallat al-alsunu ʿan ghayati sifatihi

Tongues fall silent before the limit of describing Him,

وَٱنْحَسَرَتِ ٱلْعُقُولُ عَنْ كُنْهِ مَعْرِفَتِهِ

wanhasarat alʿuqulu ʿan kunhi maʿrifatihi

intellects fail before the core of knowing Him,

وَتَوَاضَعَتِ ٱلْجَبَابِرَةُ لِهَيْبَتِهِ

wa tawadaʿat aljababiratu lihaybatihi

tyrants fall low in awe of Him,

وَعَنَتِ ٱلْوُجُوهُ لِخَشْيَتِهِ

wa ʿanat alwujuhu likhashyatihi

faces are humbled in fear of Him,

وَٱنْقَادَ كُلُّ عَظِيمٍ لِعَظَمَتِهِ

wanqada kullu ʿazimin liʿazamatihi

and everything mighty yields to His mightiness!

فَلَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ مُتَوَاتِراً مُتَّسِقاً

falaka alhamdu mutawatiran muttasiqan

So, to You belongs praise, again and again, well-measured,

وَمُتَوَالِياً مُسْتَوْسِقاً

wa mutawaliyan mustawsiqan

continually, methodically!

وَصَلَوَاتُهُ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِ أَبَداً

wa salawatuhu ʿala rasulihi abadan

And may His blessings be upon His Messenger endlessly,

وَسَلامُهُ دَائِماً سَرْمَداً

wa salamuhu da'iman sarmadan

and His salutation (be upon him) everlastingly, eternally!

اَللَّهُمَّ ٱجْعَلْ أَوَّلَ يَوْمِي هٰذَا صَلاَحاً

allahumma ijʿal awwala yawmi hadha salahan

O Allah, (please) make the beginning of this day of mine righteousness,

وَ أَوْسَطَهُ فَلاَحاً

wa awsatahu falahan

its middle prosperity,

وَآخِرَهُ نَجَاحاً

wa akhirahu najahan

and its end success!

وَ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ يَوْمٍ اَوَّلُهُ فَزَعٌ

wa aʿudhu bika min yawmin awwaluhu fazaʿun

I seek refuge in You from a day whose beginning is fright,

وَ أَوْسَطُهُ جَزَعٌ

wa awsatuhu jazaʿun

whose middle is anxiety,

وَآخِرُهُ وَجَعٌ

wa akhiruhu wajaʿun

and whose end is pain!

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِكُلِّ نَذْرٍ نَذَرْتُهُ

allahumma inni astaghfiruka likulli nadhrin nadhartuhu

O Allah, I pray forgiveness from You for every vow I have vowed,

وَلِكُلِّ وَعْدٍ وَعَدْتُهُ

wa likulli waʿdin waʿadtuhu

every promise I have made,

وَلِكُلِّ عَهْدٍ عَاهَدْتُهُ

wa likulli ʿahdin ʿahadtuhu

and every pledge I have pledged

ثُمَّ لَمْ أَفِ لَكَ بِهِ

thumma lam afi laka bihi

and then I failed to keep for You.

وَ أَسْأَلُكَ فِي مَظَالِمِ عِبَادِكَ عِنْدِي

wa as'aluka fi mazalimi ʿibadika ʿindi

I ask You concerning the complaints of Your servants against me:

فَأَيُّمَا عَبْدٍ مِنْ عَبِيدِكَ

fa ayyuma ʿabdin min ʿabidika

If there is a servant from among Your servants

أَوْ أَمَةٍ مِنْ إِمَائِكَ

aw amatin min ima'ika

or a bondmaid from among Your bondmaids,

كَانَتْ لَهُ قِبَلِي مَظْلَمَةٌ ظَلَمْتُهَا إِيَّاهُ

kanat lahu qibali mazlamatun zalamtuha iyyahu

who has against me a complaint

فِي نَفْسِهِ أَوْ فِي عِرْضِهِ

fi nafsihi aw fi ʿirdihi

because I have wronged him in respect to himself, his reputation,

أَوْ فِي مَالِهِ أَوْ فِي أَهْلِهِ وَوَلَدِهِ

aw fi malihi aw fi ahlihi wa waladihi

his property, his wife or his child,

أَوْ غِيبَةٌ ﭐغْتَبْتُهُ بِهَا

aw ghibatin ightabtuhu biha

or because evil words I have spoken about him in his absence,

أَوْ تَحَامُلٌ عَلَيهِ بِمَيْلٍ أَوْ هَوًىٰ

aw tahamulun ʿalayhi bimaylin aw hawan

an imposition upon him through inclination, caprice,

أَوْ أَنَفَةٍ أَوْ حَمِيَّةٍ

aw anafatin aw hamiyyatin

scorn, zeal,

أَوْ رِيَاءٍ أَوْ عَصَبِيَّةٍ

aw riya'in aw ʿasabiyyatin

false show, bigotry,

غَائِباً كَانَ أَوْ شَاهِداً

gha'iban kana aw shahidan

whether he be absent or present,

وَحَيّاً كَانَ أَوْ مَيِّتاً

wa hayyan kana aw mayyitan

alive or dead,

فَقَصُرَتْ يَدِي

faqasurat yadi

such that my hand has fallen short

وَضَاقَ وُسْعِي عَنْ رَدِّهَا إِلَيْهِ

wa daqa wusʿi ʿan raddiha ilayhi

and my capacity has been too narrow to make restitution to him

وَٱلتَّحَلُّلِ مِنْهُ

wattahalluli minhu

or to annul my obligation to him,

فَأَسْأَلُك يَا مَنْ يَمْلِكُ ٱلْحَاجَاتِ

fa as'alika ya man yamliku alhajati

I ask You, O He who owns all objects of need,

وَهِيَ مُسْتَجِيبَةٌ بِمَشِيَّتِهِ

wa hiya mustajibatun limashi'atihi

which are granted by His will

وَمُسْرِعَةٌ إِلَىٰ إِرَادَتِهِ

wa musriʿatun ila iradatihi

and hasten to His desire

أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

an tusalliya ʿala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin

that You bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,

وَأَنْ تُرْضِيَهُ عَنِّي بِمَا شِئْتَ

wa an turdiyahu ʿanni bima shi'ta

and make [the one I have wronged] satisfied with me in the manner that You will,

وَتَهَبَ لِي مِنْ عِنْدِكَ رَحْمَةً

wa tahaba li min ʿindika rahmatan

and gift me mercy from You,

إِنَّهُ لاَ تَنْقُصُكَ ٱلْمَغْفِرَةُ

innahu la tanqusuka almaghfiratu

because, indeed, forgiveness decreases You not

وَلاَ تَضُرُّكَ ٱلْمَوْهِبَةُ

wa la tadurruka almawhibatu

and giving injures You not.

يَا أَرْحَمَ ٱلرَّاحِمِينَ

ya arhama arrahimina

O Most Merciful of all those who show mercy!

اَللَّهُمَّ أَوْلِنِي فِي كُلِّ يَومِ ٱثْنَيْنِ

allahumma awlini fi kulli yawmi ithnayni

O Allah, bestow upon me on every Monday

نِعْمَتَيْنِ مِنْكَ ثِنْتَيْنِ

niʿmatayni minka thintayni

with two favors from You:

سَعَادَةً فِي أَوَّلِهِ بِطَاعَتِكَ

saʿadatan fi awwalihi bitaʿatika

the felicity to obey You at its beginning

وَنِعْمَةً فِي آخِرِهِ بِمَغْفِرَتِكَ

wa niʿmatan fi akhirihi bimahgfiratika

and the favor of Your forgiveness at its end!

يَا مَنْ هُوَ ٱلإِلٰهُ

ya man huwa al-ilahu

O He who is the God

وَلاَ يَغْفِرُ ٱلذُّنُوبَ سِوَاهُ

wa la yaghfiru aldhdhunuba siwahu

and none other than Whom grants forgiveness for sins!

Dua of Sayyeda Fatima (peace be upon her) for Monday

اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْاَلُكَ قُوَّةً فِيْ عِبَادَتِكَ،

allaahumma innee as-aloka quwwatan fee e’baadateka

O God, I ask You for the strength to worship (You),

وَ تَبَصُّرًا فِيْ كِتَابِكَ،

wa tabassoran fee ketaabeka,

insight of book (Quran),

وَ فَهْمًا فِيْ حُكْمِكَ،

wa fahman fee hukmeka,

cognizance of religious laws

اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ،

allaahumma salle a’laa mohammadin wa aale mohammadin,

O Allah, bless Muhammad and the progeny of Muhammad

وَ لَا تَجْعَلِ الْقُرْاٰنَ بِنَا مَاحِلًا وَ الصِّرَاطَ زَائِلًا،

wa laa taj-a’lil quraana benaa maahelan was seraata zaaelan,

and do not make the Quran distant from us and the Siraat as downfall for us

ومُحَمَّدًا ﷺ عَنَّا مُوَلِّيًا.

wa mohammadan sallal laaho a’layhe wa aalehi a’nnaa mowalleyan.

and His Eminence, Muhammad as one, who turns away from us.

الْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِيْ هُدَانِيْ لِلْاِسْلاَمِ وَ اَکْرَمَنِيْ بِالْاِيْمَانِ وَ بَصَّرَنِيْ بِالدِّيْنِ وَ شَرَّفَنِيْ بِالْيَقِيْنِ وَ عَرَّفَنِيْ الْحَقَّ الَّذِيْ عَنْهُ يُؤْفَکُوْنَ وَالنَّبَائِ الْعَظِيْمَ الَّذِيْ هُمْ فِيْهِ مُخْتَلِفُوْنَ

Praise is for Allah Who guided me towards Islam, enlightened me in religion and granted me insight about those things in which people look for allegations and accusation.

سُبْحَانَ اﷲِ الَّذِيْ يَرْزُقُ الْقَاسِطَ الْعَادِلَ وَالْعَاقِلَ وَالْجَاهِلَ وَ يَرْحَمُ السَّاهِيَ وَالْغَافِلَ فَکَيْفَ الدَّاعِيَ السَّآئِلَ

Pure is Allah Who sustains the great and the unjust, the intelligent and the fools, when He is Merciful towards the negligent and careless, why will He not be Merciful on those who invoke and beseech Him.

َوَ لاَ اِلٰهَ اِلاَّ اﷲُ اللَّطِيْفُ بِمَنْ شَرَدَ عَنْهُ مِنْ مُسْرِفِيْ عِبَادِهٖ لِيَرْجِعَ عَنْ عَتُوِّهٖ وَ عِنَادِنهٖ الرَّاضِيْ مِنَ الْمُنِيْبِ الْمُخْلِصِ بِدُوْنِ الْوُسْعِ وَالطَّاقَۃِ

There is no Lord except Allah and He bestows His grace and Mercy on those who run away from His obedience so that they may refrain from their tyranny and oppression and are prepared to do good deeds with sincere people.

And Allah is Great. He is tolerant and knowledgeable who has such amazing and marvelous proofs in the universe which proves His Godhood, without a doubt.

اوَ عَلٰي کُلِّ نَوْعٍ مِنْ غَوَامِضِ تَقْدِيْرِه وَ حُسْنِ تَدْبِيْرِهٖ دَلِيْلٌ وَاضِحٌ وَ شَاهِدُ عَدْلٍ يَقْضِيَانِ لَهٗ بِالْوَحْدَانِيَّۃِ

His recognition of destinies and the excellent policies are adequate evidences and the just witnesses are sufficient proof of His Oneness.

اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُکَ يَا مَنْ يَصْرِفُ الْبَلاَيَا وَ يَعْلَمُ الْخَفَايَا وَ يُجْزِلُ الْعَطَايَا سُؤَالَ نَادِمٍ عَلٰي اِقْتِرَافِ الْاٰثَامِ وَ سَالِمٍ عَلَي الْمَعَاصِيْ مِنَ اللَّيَالِيْ

O my Creator! O He who wards off the misfortune, aware of the secrets, gives abundance in bestowal of rewards, I ask You, as the one who is ashamed of his sins and is persistently absorbed in disobedience.

وَالْاَيَّامِ اِذْلَمْ يَجِدْ مُجِيْرًا سِوَاکَ لِغُفْرَانِهَا وَلاَ مَوْئِلاً يَفْزَعُ اِلَيْهِ لِاِرْتِجَآءِ کَشْفِ فَاقَتِهٖ اِلاَّاِيَّاکَ

I don't find anyone other than You who can grant me refuge in it.And there is none other than You, with whom I can get my helplessness dispelled and can put forth my grievances.

يَا جَلِيْلُ اَنْتَ الَّذِيْ عَمَّ الْخَلآئِقَ مَنُّکَ وَ غَمَرَتْهُمْ سَعَۃُ رَحْمَتُکَ وَ سَوَّغَتْهُمْ سَوَابِغُ نِعْمَتِکَ

O the Lord of Majestic Your obligations have spread over the entire creation and our vast bounties have covered them up, and Your complete bestowals are a source of happiness

ا کَرِيْمُ الْمَاٰبِ وَالْجَوَادُ الْوَهَّابِ وَالْمُنْتَقِمُ مِمَّنْ عَصَاهُ بِاَلِيْمِ الْعَذَابِ دَعَوْتُکَ مُقِرًّا بِالْاِسَائَۃِ عَلٰي نَفْسِيْ اِذْلَمْ اَجِدُ مَلْجَأ اَلْجَاَهُ اِلَيْهِ فِيْ اِغْتِفَادِ مَا اکْتَسَبْتَ مِنَ الْاٰثَامِ

O the Honorable and the Generous and the abundant forgiver, and the one to deal strictly with the disobedient. I confess the errors of my soul and I plead to You because I don't find a better place to seek pardon for my evil deeds, other than You.

يَا خَيْرَ مَنِ اسْتُدْعٰي لِبَذْلِ الرَّغَآئِبِ وَ اَنْجَحَ مَامُوْلٍ لِکَشْفِ الْکَوَارِبِ لَکَ عَنَتِ الْوُجُوْهُ فَلاَ تَرُدَّنِيْ مِنْکَ بِالْحِرْمَانِ

O the bestower of the favorite bounties, and the warder of calamities and the foremost in making the wishes come true. The foreheads are bowed before You, don't send them dejected.

اِنَّکَ تَفْعَلُ مَا تَشَآءُ وَ تَحْکُمُ مَا تُرِيْدُ اِلٰهِيْ وَ سَيِّدِيْ وَ مَوْلاَيَ اَيَّ رَبٍّ اِرْتَجِيْهِ اَمْ اَيَّ اِلٰهٍ اَقْصُدُهٗ اِذَا اَلَمَّ بِيَ النَّدَمُ وَ اَحَاطَتْ بِيَ الْمَعَاصِيْ وَ نَکَائِبُ خَوْفِ النِّقَمِ وَ اَنْتَ وَلِيَّ الصَّفْحِ وَ ميَاوَي الْکَرَمِ

Indeed You do what pleases You and command what You like. O My Lord! O my Master! When sorrow and shame is open and the feeling of fear and chastisement has fallen down, then who is the lord from whom I can have hopes, who is He to whom I can have hopes, who is He to whom I can turn and You are the Lord of forgiveness and the peak of Mercy.

َ اِلٰهِيْ اَتُقِيْمُنِيْ مَقَامَ الْهَلَکَۃِ وَ اَنْتَ جَمِيْلُ السِّتْرِ وَ تَسَأَلُنِيْ عَنْ اِقْتِرَافِيْ عَلٰي رُئُوْسِ الْاَشْهَادِ وَ قَدْ مَخَبَّاتِ السِّتْرِ

O My Lord! Will you put me among those who will be destroyed, whereas You are the best concealer (of sins), will You question me for my sins in everybody's presence, whereas You are aware of the secrets of the hearts.

فَاِنْ کُنْتُي اِلٰهِيْ مُسْرِفًا عَلٰي نَفْسِيْ مُخْطِئًا عَلَيْهَا بِاِنْتِهَاکَ الْحُرُمَاتِ نَاسِيًا لِمَا اجْتَرَمْتُ مِنَ الْهَفَوَاتِ فَاَنْتَ لَطِيْفٌ تَجُوْدُ عَلَي الْمُسْرِفِيْنَ بِرَحْمَتِکَ وَ تَتَفَضَّلْ عَلَي الْخَاطِئِيْنَ بِکَرَمِکَ فَارْحَمْنِيْ يَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ فَاِنَّکَ تُسَکِّنَ

O Allah although I have been unjust on my soul, and have overlooked Your commands, and have indulged myself in sins, and have forgotten everything, but still You are the Owner of favours who is extremely kind towards the sinners and is benevolent upon the evil doers by Your Grace.

َ يَا اِلٰهِيْ بِتَحَبُّنِکَ رَوْعَاتِ قُلُوْبِ الْوَجِلِيْنَ وَ تُحَقُّقِ بِتَطَوُّلِکَ اَمَلَ الْاٰمِلِيْنَ وَ تُفِيْضُ سَجَالَ عَطَايَاکَ عَلٰي غَيْرِ الْمُسْتَاهِلِيْنَ ف

Thus O the great Merciful be kind to me, as You are the one Who can give peace to the living heart and by Your favours, make the wishes of the hopeful come true. Your mercy also showers on the undeserving.

َاٰمِنِّيْ بِرَجَآئٍ لاَ يَشُوْبُهٗ قُنُوْطٌ وَ اَمَلٍ لاَ يُکَدِّرُهُ بَاْسٌي

Give me shade in those desires, where there is the sign of despair, and such a hope which is not destined by Your Chastisement.

ا مُحِيْطًا بِکُلِّ شَيْءٍ عِلْمًا وَ قَدْ اَصْبَحْتُ سَيِّدِيْ وَ اَمْسَيْتُ عَلٰي بَابٍ مِنْ اَبْوَابِ مِنَحِکَ سَآئِلاً وَ عَنِ التَّعَرُّضِ لِسِوَاکَ

O He who has covered everything by His knowledge, O my Master, now my state is such that from dawn to dusk I am begging at the door of Your Mercy and am away from asking from anyone else other than You.

بِالْمَسْأَلَۃِ عَادِلاً وَّ لَيْسَ مِنْ جَمِيْلِ اِمْتِنَانِکَ رَدُّ سَآئِلٍ مَا سُوْرٍ مَلْهُوْفٍ وَ مُضْطَرٍّ لِانْتِظَارِ خَيْرِکَ الْمَالُوْفِي

And Your immense grace is too great to reject the plea of a beggar, of a person who is imprisoned, one who is inflicted in problems, and one who impatiently awaits Your forgiveness to turn him down

الٰهِيْ اَنْتَ الَّذِيْ عَجَزَتِ الْاَوْهَامُ عَنِ الْاِحَاطَۃِ بِکَ وَ کَلَّتِ الْاَلْسُنُ عَنْ نَعْتِ ذٰلِکَ فَبِاٰلَآئِکَ وَ طَوْلِکَ

O my Lord, the strength, intellect and thoughts are incapable to gather knowledge about You and the tongues are dumbstruck in praising You.

صَلِّ عَلٰي مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَاغْفِرْلِيْ ذُنُوْبِيْ وَ اَوْسِعْ عَلَيَّ مِنْ فَضْلِکَ الْوَاسَعِ رِزْقًا وَاسِعًا حَلٰلاً طَيِّبًا فِيْ عَافِيَۃٍ وَ اَقِلْنِيْ الْعَثْرَۃ

Thus send blessings on Mohammed and his progeny by Your Grace and forgive my sins and Grant me pure and excellent and honorable sustenance by Your vast Grace.

َ يَا غَايَۃَ الْاٰمِلِيْنَ وَ جَبَّارَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِيْنَ وَالْبَاقِيْ بَعْدَ فَنَآءِ الْخَلْقِ اَجْمَعِيْنَ وَ دَيَّانَ يَوْمِ الدِّيْنِ

O the only support of hopeful, O the one having power on the Heavens and the Earth,O the one to remain after the destruction of entire creation, the Judge on the day of reward and punishment,

وَ اَنْتَ يَا مَوْلاَيَ ثِقَۃُ مَنْ لَمْ يَثْقِ بِنَفْسِهٖ لِاِفْرَاطِ خَلَلِهٖ وَ اَمَلُ مَنْ لَمْ يَکُنْ لَهٗ تَاْمِيْلٌ لِکَثْرَۃِ زَلَلِهٖ وَ رَجَآءُ مَنْ لَمْ يَرْتَجِ لِنَفْسِهٖ بِوَسِيْلَۃِ عَمَلِه

O my Lord! One who due to errors does not have trust on himself, then his trust and the hope of the one who does not find any destination and the hope of the one who does not have any hopes left due to his deeds.

الٰهِيْ فَاَنْقِذْنِيْ بِرَحْمَتِکَ مِنَ الْمَهَالِکِ وَ اَحْلِلْنِيْ دَارَ الْاَخْيَارِ وَاجْعَلْنِيْ مِنْ مُرَافِقِيْ الْاَبْرَارِ وَاغْفِرْلِيْ ذُنُوْبَ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ

O my Lord save me from destruction by Your Mercy, and put me among Your appointed people, count me among the pious ones, forgive my sins of the night and days,

َِيَا مُطَّلِعًا عَلَي الْاَسْرَارِ اِحْتَمِلْ عَنِّيْ مَوْلاَيَ اَدَآءَ مَا افْتَرَضْتَ عَلَيَّ لِلْاٰبَآءِ وَالْاُمَّهَاتِ وَالْاِخْوَانِ وَالْاَخْوَاتِ بِلُطْفِکَ وَ کَرِمَکَ يَا ذَاالْجَلاَلِ وَالْاِکْرَامِ وَ اَشْرِکْنَا فِيْ دُعَآءِ مَنِ اسْتَجَبْتَ لَهٗ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَالْمُؤْمِنٰتِ

O the Knower of the secrets of the hearts, O the possessor of grandeur and Majestic, the rights of my parents, brothers, and sisters which are obligatory upon me, You fulfill it and relieve me of it with Your Mercy and include me among those believers, whose supplication You have accepted.

اِنَّکَ جَوَادٌ کَرِيْمٌ وَهَّابٌ صَلَّي اﷲُ عَلٰي مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ اٰلِهٖ وَ سَلَّمَ تَسْلِيْمًا

Indeed You are Generous and on excessive forgiver. O Allah send blessings on Mohammad and his progeny and bestow Your best protection

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ رَسُولِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَالَمِينَ

alssalamu ʿalayka ya ibna rasuli rabbi alʿalamina

Peace be on you, O son of the Messenger of the Lord of the Worlds!

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ أَمِيرِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

alssalamu ʿalayka ya ibna amiri almu'minina

Peace be on you, O son of the Commander of the Believers!

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ فَاطِمَةَ ٱلزَّهْرَاءِ

alssalamu ʿalayka ya ibna fatimata alzzahra’i

Peace be on you, O son of Fatimah, the luminous lady!

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا حَبِيبَ ٱللَّهِ

alssalamu ʿalayka ya habiba allahi

Peace be on you, O beloved of Allah!

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا صِفْوَةَ ٱللَّهِ

alssalamu ʿalayka ya sifwata allahi

Peace be on you, O choice of Allah!

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا أَمِينَ ٱللَّهِ

alssalamu ʿalayka ya amina allahi

Peace be on you, O trustee of Allah!

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا حُجَّةَ ٱللَّهِ

alssalamu ʿalayka ya hujjata allahi

Peace be on you, O Argument of Allah!

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا نُورَ ٱللَّهِ

alssalamu ʿalayka ya nura allahi

Peace be on you, O Light of Allah!

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا صِرَاطَ ٱللَّهِ

alssalamu ʿalayka ya sirata allahi

Peace be on you, O Path of Allah!

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بَيَانَ حُكْمِ ٱللَّهِ

alssalamu ʿalayka ya bayana hukmi allahi

Peace be on you, O elucidation of the rule of Allah!

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا نَاصِرَ دِينِ ٱللَّهِ

alssalamu ʿalayka ya nasira dini allahi

Peace be on you, O supporter of the religion of Allah!

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا ٱلسَّيِدُ ٱلزَّكِيُّ

alssalamu ʿalayka ayyuha alssayyidu alzzakiyyu

Peace be on you, O pure master!

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا ٱلْبَرُّ ٱلْوَفِيُّ

alssalamu ʿalayka ayyuha albarru alwafiyyu

Peace be on you, O self-righteous and truthful!

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا ٱلْقَائِمُ ٱلأَمِينُ

alssalamu ʿalayka ayyuha alqa'imu al-aminu

Peace be on you, O practiser (of God's commands) and trustee!

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا ٱلْعَالِمُ بِٱلتَّأْوِيلِ

alssalamu ʿalayka ayyuha alʿalimu biltta'wili

Peace be on you, O well-experienced in the interpretation (of the Qur'an)!

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا ٱلْهَادِي ٱلْمَهْدِيُّ

alssalamu ʿalayka ayyuha alhadi almahdiyyu

Peace be on you, O guide and well-guided!

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا ٱلطَّاهِرُ ٱلزَّكِيُّ

alssalamu ʿalayka ayyuha alttahiru alzzakiyyu

Peace be on you, O immaculate and pure!

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا ٱلتَّقِيُّ ٱلنَّقِيُّ

alssalamu ʿalayka ayyuha alttaqiyyu alnnaqiyyu

Peace be on you, O pious and infallible!

السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا ٱلْحَقُّ ٱلْحَقِيقُ

alssalamu ʿalayka ayyuha alhaqqu alhaqiqu

Peace be on you, O veritable truth!

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا ٱلشَّهِيدُ ٱلصِّدِّيقُ

alssalamu ʿalayka ayyuha alshshahidu alssiddiqu

Peace be on you, O martyr and veracious!

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا أَبَا مُحَمَّدٍ ٱلْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ

alssalamu ʿalayka ya aba muhammadin alhasana ibna ʿaliyyin

Peace be on you, O Abu-Muhammad al-Hasan, the son of `Ali!

وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

wa rahmatu allahi wa barakatuhu

Allah's mercy and blessings be upon you!

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ

assalamu ʿalayka ya ibna rasuli allahi

Peace be upon you, O son of Allah's Messenger!

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ أَمِيرِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

assalamu ʿalayka ya ibna amiri almu'minina

Peace be upon you, O son of the Commander of the Believers!

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ سَيِّدَةِ نِسَاءِ ٱلْعَالَمِينَ

alssalamu ʿalayka ya ibna sayyidati nisa'i alʿalamina

Peace be upon you, O son of the doyenne of the women of the world!

أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ أَقَمْتَ ٱلصَّلاَةَ

ash-hadu annaka aqamta alssalata

I bear witness that you performed the prayers [duly],

وَآتَيْتَ ٱلزَّكَاةَ

wa atayta alzzakata

defrayed the poor-rate,

وَأَمَرْتَ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ

wa amarta bilmaʿrufi

enjoined the right,

وَنَهَيْتَ عَنِ ٱلْمُنْكَرِ

wa nahayta ʿan almunkari

forbade the wrong,

وَعَبَدْتَ ٱللَّهَ مُخْلِصاً

wa ʿabadta allaha mukhlisan

worshipped Allah sincerely,

وَجَاهَدْتَ فِي ٱللَّهِ حَقَّ جِهَادِهِ

wa jahadta fi allahi haqqa jihadihi

and strove for the sake of Allah with due striving

حَتَّىٰ أَتَاكَ ٱلْيَقِينُ

hatta ataka alyaqinu

until death came upon you.

فَعَلَيْكَ ٱلسَّلاَمُ مِنِّي

faʿalayka alssalamu minni

So, peace from me be upon you

مَا بَقِيتُ وَبَقِيَ ٱللَّيْلُ وَٱلنَّهَارُ

ma baqitu wa baqiya allaylu walnnaharu

as long as I am alive and as long as day and night remain,

وَعَلَىٰ آلِ بَيْتِكَ ٱلطَّيِّبِينَ ٱلطَّاهِرِينَ

wa ʿala ali baytika alttayyibina alttahirina

and peace be upon your Household, the pure, the immaculate.

أَنَا يَا مَوْلاَيَ مَوْلىٰ لَكَ وَلآِلِ بَيْتِكَ

ana ya mawlaya mawlan laka wa li-ali baytika

O my master, I am a servant of you and of your Household,

سِلْمٌ لِمَنْ سَالَمَكُمْ

silmun liman salamakum

peaceful with those who keep peace with you,

وَحَرْبٌ لِمَنْ حَارَبَكُمْ

wa harbun liman harabakum

at war against those who are at war against you,

مُؤْمِنٌ بِسِرِّكُمْ وَجَهْرِكُمْ

mu'minun bisirrikum wa jahrikum

and believing in your secret and open affairs

وَظَاهِرِكُمْ وَبَاطِنِكُمْ

wa zahirikum wa batinikum

and your inward and outward affairs.

لَعَنَ ٱللَّهُ أَعْدَاءَكُمْ

laʿana allahu aʿda'akum

May Allah curse your enemies

مِنَ ٱلأَوَّلينَ وَٱلآخِرِينَ

mina al-awwalina wal-akhirina

from the past and late generations.

وَأَنَا أَبْرَأُ إِلَىٰ ٱللَّهِ تَعَالَىٰ مِنْهُمْ

wa ana abra'u ila allahi taʿala minhum

And I release myself from them before Almighty Allah!

يَا مَوْلاَيَ يَا أَبَا مُحَمَّدٍ

ya mawlaya ya aba muhammadin

O my master, Abu-Muhammad;

يَا مَوْلاَيَ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ ٱللَّهِ

ya mawlaya ya aba ʿabdillahi

and my master, Abu-`Abdullah!

هٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلإِثْنَيْنِ

hadha yawmu al-ithnayni

Today is Monday,

وَهُوَ يَوْمُكُمَا وَبِٱسْمِكُمَا

wa huwa yawmukuma wa bismikuma

which is the day of both of you and carrying your names.

وَأَنَا فِيهِ ضَيْفُكُمَا

wa ana fihi dayfukuma

On this day, I am your guest;

فَأَضِيفَانِي وَأَحْسِنَا ضِيَافَتِي

fa-adifani wa ahsina diyafati

therefore, receive me as your guest and treat me hospitably.

فَنِعْمَ مَنِ ٱسْتُضِيفَ بِهِ أَنْتُمَا

faniʿma man istudifa bihi antuma

Verily, you both are the most excellent hosts a guest may gain.

وَأَنَا فِيهِ مِنْ جِوَارِكُمَا فَأَجِيرَانِي

wa ana fihi min jiwarikuma fa-ajirani

On this day too, I am in your vicinity; so, treat me as your neighbor,

فَإِنَّكُمَا مَأْمُورَانِ بِٱلضِّيَافَةِ وَٱلْإِجَارَةِ

fa'innakuma ma'murani bilddiyafati wal-ijarati

since you are commanded to receive your guests and neighbors hospitably.

فَصَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمَا وَآلِكُمَا ٱلطَّيِّبِينَ

fasalla allahu ʿalaykuma wa alikuma alttayyibina

May Allah's peace be upon you both and upon your immaculate household.

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

سُبْحَانَ الْحَنَّانِ الْمَنَّانِ الْجَوَادِ

Glory be to the Kind, Compassionate, and the All-magnanimous!

سُبْحَانَ الْكَرِيمِ الْأَكْرَمِ

Glory be to the Generous and the most generous!

سُبْحَانَ الْبَصِيرِ الْعَلِيمِ

Glory be to the Discerning and the Wise!

سُبْحَانَ السَّمِيعِ الْوَاسِعِ

Glory be to him, the all-hearing and immense!

سُبْحَانَ اللهِ عَلَى إِقْبَالِ النَّهَارِ وَ إِقْبَالِ اللَّيْلِ

Glory be to him upon daytime and nighttime arriving!

سُبْحَانَ اللهِ عَلَى إِدْبَارِ النَّهَارِ وَ إِدْبَارِ اللَّيْلِ

Glory be to Allah upon the time of sunset and the zero hours of the departing night.

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ فِي آنَاءِ اللَّيْلِ وَ آنَاءِ النَّهَارِ

There is no God except Allah in the watches of the night and day.

وَ لَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَ الْمَجْدُ وَ الْعَظَمَةُ وَ الْكِبْرِيَاءُ

For Him alone is; the praise, might, greatness and omnipotence.

مَعَ كُلِّ نَفَسٍ وَ كُلِّ طَرْفَةٍ

With every breath and twinkle of an eye

وَ كُلِّ لَمْحَةٍ سَبَقَتْ فِي عِلْمِهِ

and every moment already registered in His all-embracing awareness,

سُبْحَانَكَ عَدَدَ ذَلِكَ

Glory be counted to you!

سُبْحَانَكَ زِنَةَ ذَلِكَ وَ مَا أَحْصَى كِتَابُكَ

Glory be to you equal to the measure and the infinite range that covers Your Book!

سُبْحَانَكَ زِنَةَ عَرْشِكَ

Glory be to You; that is equal to the measure of Your Throne!

سُبْحَانَكَ [سُبْحَانَكَ] سُبْحَانَ رَبِّنَا ذِي الْجَلالِ وَ الْإِكْرامِ

Glorified be our Allah, the Glorious and Gracious.

سُبْحَانَ رَبِّنَا تَسْبِيحاً كَمَا يَنْبَغِي لِكَرَمِ وَجْهِهِ وَ عِزِّ جَلَالِهِ

Glory be to Allah with a proper glorification due to His distinct Munificence and His Excellent Glory!

سُبْحَانَ رَبِّنَا تَسْبِيحاً مُقَدَّساً مُزَكًّى كَذَلِكَ فَعَلَ رَبُّنَا

Glory be to Allah with a righteous and holy glorification.

سُبْحَانَ الْحَيِّ الْحَلِيمِ

Glory be to Allah the ever-living and clement!

سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي كَتَبَ عَلى نَفْسِهِ الرَّحْمَةَ

Glory be to him who has written upon himself The Mercy!

سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ آدَمَ وَ أَخْرَجَنَا مِنْ صُلْبِهِ

Glory be to him who Created Adam and bought us from his essence.

سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي يُحْيِي الْأَمْوَاتَ وَ يُمِيتُ الْأَحْيَاءَ

Glory be to him who revives the deceased's and causes the living to die.

سُبْحَانَ مَنْ هُوَ رَحِيمٌ [حَلِيمٌ] لَا يَعْجَلُ

Glory be to Him Who is Merciful, never does a thing in haste.

سُبْحَانَ مَنْ هُوَ رَقِيبٌ [قَرِيبٌ] لَا يَغْفُلُ

Glory be to you, who is watchful and never misses.

سُبْحَانَ مَنْ هُوَ جَوَادٌ لَا يَبْخَلُ

Glory be to you, The Generous who is never a miser.

سُبْحَانَ مَنْ هُوَ حَلِيمٌ لَا يَجْهَلُ

Glory be to you, The Forbearing who never forgets.

سُبْحَانَ مَنْ جَلَّ ثَنَاؤُهُ وَ لَهُ الْمِدْحَةُ الْبَالِغَةُ

Glory be to you, who He-great is His praise.

فِي جَمِيعِ مَا يُثْنَى عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْمَجْدِ

And for him is the conclusive praise in his every Glory that is praised.

سُبْحَانَ اللهِ الْحَلِيمِ

Glory be to Allah, The forbearing,

وَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ الطَّاهِرِينَ

and God bless our chief, Muhammad; and his immaculate Household.

سْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate.

أُعِيذُ نَفْسِي بِرَبِّي الْأَكْبَرِ مِمَّا يَخْفَى وَ مَا يَظْهَرُ

I seek protection for me, in my Lord, the Most Great from; the evil of what is hidden and apparent,

وَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ أُنْثَى وَ ذَكَرٍ

the evil of every female and male,

وَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا رَأَتِ الشَّمْسَ وَ الْقَمَرَ

the evil of what the sun and moon behold.

قُدُّوسٌ قُدُّوسٌ رَبُّ الْمَلَائِكَةِ وَ الرُّوحِ

Most Holy, Most Holy, Lord of the angels and the Spirit.

أَدْعُوكُمْ أَيُّهَا الْجِنُّ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ سَامِعِينَ مُطِيعِينَ

I call on you, O jinn, if you are hearing, obedient,

وَ أَدْعُوكُمْ أَيُّهَا الْإِنْسُ إِلَى اللَّطِيفِ الْخَبِيرِ

and I call you, O humankind, to the Gracious, the All-knowing.

وَ أَدْعُوكُمْ أَيُّهَا الْجِنُّ وَ الْإِنْسُ

I call you, O humankind and jinn,

إِلَى الَّذِي خَتَمْتُهُ بِخَاتَمِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

to Him Who is obeyed by all creation stamped with the seal of the Lord of the Worlds,

وَ خَاتَمِ جِبْرِيلَ وَ مِيْكَالَ وَ إِسْرَافِيلَ

and the seal of Jibrail, Mikail, and Israfil,

وَ خَاتَمِ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ دَاوُدَ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلَامُ

and the seal of Sulayman b. Dawud, peace be upon them

وَ خَاتَمِ مُحَمَّدٍ سَيِّدِ الْمُرْسَلِينَ وَ النَّبِيِّينَ

and the seal of Muhammad, the chief of the Prophets,

صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ وَ عَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعِينَ

blessings of Allah on Muhammad and his Ahl Al-Bayt, the good and pure.

وَ أَزْجُرُ [وَ آخُذُ] عَنْ فُلَانِ بْنِ فُلَانٍ كُلَّمَا يَغْدُو وَ يَرُوحُ مِنْ ذِي حَيٍّ أَوْ عَقْرَبٍ أَوْ سَاحِرٍ أَوْ شَيْطَانٍ رَجِيمٍ أَوْ سُلْطَانٍ عَنِيدٍ

Remove from so-and-so, son of so-and-so, every female jinn with a rebellious spirit, a jinn or demon or rebellious enchanter, or obstinate ruler or an accursed devil.

أَخَذْتُ عَنْهُ مَا يُرَى وَ مَا لَا يُرَى

Remove from so-and-so, which is seen and unseen;

وَ مَا رَأَتْ عَيْنُ نَائِمٍ أَوْ يَقْظَانٍ بِإِذْنِ اللهِ اللَّطِيفِ الْخَبِيرِ

seen by an eye, sleeping or awake, by the will of Allah, the Gracious, the All-knowing.

لَا سُلْطَانَ لَكُمْ عَلَى اللهِ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَى رَسُولِهِ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ النَّبِيِّ وَ آلِهِ الطَّاهِرِينَ وَ سَلَّمَ تَسْلِيماً

There is no way for you over him, nor over what is feared for him. Allah, no partner has He, and Allah bless Muhammad and his Ahl Al-Bayt.

SALAATSPrayer for Monday 1It is four rakats. In the first rakat after Surah Hamd recite Ayatul Kursi once. In the second rakat after Surah Hamd recite Surah Tawheed once. In the third rakat after Surah Hamd recite Surah Falaq once. In the fourth rakat after Surah Hamd recite Surah Naas once. Then after completing the prayer recite Isteghfar 10 times.Prayer for Monday 2This prayer is also narrated from the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a.) that one who recites ten rakats prayer on Monday and in every rakat recites Surah Hamd and Surah Tawheed 10 times each the Almighty Allah will appoint for him such a light on the day of Qiyamat that it would illuminate his place till all the creatures vie him.Prayer for Monday evening ( Night preceeding Tuesday)It is of two rakats. In each rakat after Surah Hamd recite Ayatul Kursi, Surah Tawheed, Surah Falaq and Surah Naas once each and after the prayer recite Isteghfar 10 times. The reward of this prayer equals 10 Hajjs and Umrahs.

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَ بِحَمْدِكَ

O, Allah, glory be to You and praise.

أَنْتَ اللهُ الْمَلِكُ الْحَقُّ

You are Allah; the Truth king,

وَ أَنْتَ مَلِكٌ لَا مَلِكَ مَعَكَ وَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ

You are the King without a king with nor a partner

وَ لَا إِلَهَ دُونَكَ اعْتَرَفَ لَكَ الْخَلَائِقُ

and no God besides You; the creation confessed to You.

رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ وَ لَكَ الْمُلْكُ الْعَظِيمُ الَّذِي لَا يَزُولُ

O, Lord to You belongs praise, and For You; is the Great Kingdom which doesn't change,

وَ الْغَنِيُّ الْكَبِيرُ الَّذِي لَا يَعُولُ

The great rich Whom doesn't wail,

وَ السُّلْطَانُ الْعَزِيزُ الَّذِي لَا يُضَامُ

The mighty King Whom is never overpowered,

وَ الْعِزُّ الْمَنِيعُ الَّذِي لَا يُرَامُ

The indomitable superiority which never leaves,

وَ الْحَوْلُ الْوَاسِعُ الَّذِي لَا يَضِيقُ

The immense might which doesn't constrain,

وَ الْقُوَّةُ الْمَتِينَةُ الَّتِي لَا تَضْعُفُ

The excellent strength which doesn't get weak,

وَ الْكِبْرِيَاءُ الْعَظِيمُ الَّذِي لَا يُوصَفُ

The great grandeur which can't be described,

وَ الْعَظَمَةُ الْكَبِيرَةُ

and the excellent greatness!

فَحَوْلَ أَرْكَانِ عَرْشِكَ النُّورُ وَ الْوَقَارُ

Hence, Your Throne Pillars are surrounded with light and solemnity;

مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ تَخْلُقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْأَرْضَ

before the heavens and earth were created.

وَ كَانَ عَرْشُكَ عَلَى الْمَاءِ

And Your throne was above the water;

وَ كُرْسِيُّكَ يَتَوَقَّدُ نُوراً

Your seat was glowing with the light!

وَ سُرَادِقُكَ سُرَادِقُ النُّورِ وَ الْعَظَمَةِ

Your pavilions were pavillions of light and greatness,

وَ الْإِكْلِيلُ الْمُحِيطُ بِهِ هَيْكَلُ السُّلْطَانِ

and the surrounding diadem has; the King's entity,

وَ الْعِزَّةِ وَ الْمِدْحَةِ

pride, and glorification.

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ

There is no God save You, the Lord of the Great Throne

وَ [ذُو] الْبَهَاءِ وَ النُّورِ وَ الْحُسْنِ وَ الْجَمَالِ

(Owner of); elegance, light, comeliness, beauty,

وَ الْعُلَى وَ الْعَظَمَةِ وَ الْكِبْرِيَاءِ وَ الْجَبَرُوتِ وَ السُّلْطَانِ وَ الْقُدْرَةِ

highness, greatness, grandeur, power, supremacy, and ability.

أَنْتَ الْكَرِيمُ الْقَدِيرُ

You indeed are the generous Allmighty.

الْقَادِرُ] عَلَى جَمِيعِ مَا خَلَقْتَ ]

(The All-Capable) upon everything You created,

وَ لَا يَقْدِرُشَيْءٌ قَدْرَكَ

nothing can measure Your loftiness

وَ لَا يُضَعِّفُ شَيْءٌعَظَمَتَكَ

and weak Your greatness.

خَلَقْتَ مَا أَرَدْتَ بِمَشِيَّتِكَ

You created everything with Your desire;

فَنَفَذَ فِيمَا خَلَقْتَ عِلْمُكَ وَ أَحَاطَ بِهِ خُبْرُكَ

fulfilled in Your creation Your knowledge, surrounded by Your announcement,

وَ أَتَى عَلَى ذَلِكَ أَمْرُكَ وَ وَسِعَهُ حَوْلُكَ وَ قُوَّتُكَ

completed it by Your command and extended over Your force and strength!

لَكَ الْخَلْقُ وَ الْأَمْرُ وَ الْأَسْمَاءُ الْحُسْنَى

ForYou; belong the creation and command, the Most Excellent Names,

وَ الْأَمْثَالُ الْعُلْيَا وَ الْآلَاءُ وَ الْكِبْرِيَاءُ

the loftiest likenesses, bounties, and grandeur.

ذُو الْجَلالِ وَ الْإِكْرامِ وَ النِّعَمُ الْعِظَامُ

You are the possessor of; majesty and munificence, great blessings,

وَ الْعِزَّةُ الَّتِي لَا تُرَامُ

and the pride that doesn't leave.

سُبْحَانَكَ وَ بِحَمْدِكَ تَبَارَكْتَ رَبَّنَا وَ جَلَّ ثَنَاؤُكَ

Glory and praise be to You, blessed You are, and splendid be the praising of You.

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدِكَ وَ رَسُولِكَ

O, Allah (please) do send blessings upon Muhammed, Your servant, messenger,

وَ نَبِيِّكَ خَاتَمِ النَّبِيِّينَ الْمُقَفِّي عَلَى آثَارِهِمْ

and Prophet; the seal of prophets who trace their footsteps,

وَ الْمُحْتَجِّ بِهِ عَلَى أُمَمِهِمْ

the proof upon their nations,

وَ الْمُهَيْمِنِ عَلَى تَصْدِيقِهِمْ

the ruler upon their believing,

وَ النَّاصِرِ لَهُمْ مِنْ ضَلَالِ مَنِ ادَّعَى مِنْ غَيْرِهِمْ دَعْوَتَهُمْ وَ سَارَ بِخِلَافِ سِيرَتِهِمْ

and the helper for them before the error of who claims it without a right; and walked opposite their path.

صَلَاةً تُعَظِّمُ بِهَا نُورَهُ عَلَى نُورِهِمْ

A blessing that; glorifies his light upon their,

وَ تَزِيدُ بِهَا شَرَفاً عَلَى شَرَفِهِمْ

decreases his honor upon their,

وَ تُبَلِّغُهُ بِهَا أَفْضَلَ مَا بَلَّغْتَ نَبِيّاً مِنْهُمْ وَ عَلَى أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ

will take him with the most excellent from what other Prophet reached and upon his Household.

اللَّهُمَّ فَزِدْ مُحَمَّداً صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ

O, Allah does increase Muhammed blessings upon him and his Household;

مَعَ كُلِّ فَضِيلَةٍ فَضِيلَةً

with every merit another merit,

وَ مَعَ كُلِّ كَرَامَةٍ كَرَامَةً

and with every nobility another nobility;

حَتَّى تُعَرِّفَ فَضِيلَتَهُ وَ كَرَامَتَهُ أَهْلَ الْكَرَامَةِ عِنْدَكَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

until The people of dignity will realize his merit and nobility for You on the Day of Resurrection.

وَ هَبْ لَهُ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ

Bless him, blessings of Allah upon him and his Household;

مِنَ الرِّفْعَةِ أَفْضَلَ الرِّفْعَةِ

the best of greatness,

وَ مِنَ الرِّضَا أَفْضَلَ الرِّضَا

the best of satisfaction,

وَ ارْفَعْ دَرَجَتَهُ الْعُلْيَا

raise his highest degree,

وَ تَقَبَّلْ شَفَاعَتَهُ الْكُبْرَى

accept his great intercession,

وَ آتِهِ سُؤْلَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ وَ الْأُولَى

and grant him his request in the end and the beginning.

آمِينَ إِلَهَ الْحَقِّ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ

May it be so; Allah of Truth, Lord of the worlds!

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِاسْمِكَ الْأَكْبَرِ الْعَظِيمِ

O, Allah, I beseech you by Your enormous saved great name;

الْمَخْزُونِ الَّذِي تُفَتَّحُ بِهِ أَبْوَابُ سَمَاوَاتِكَ وَ رَحْمَتُكَ

that opens Your heavens door and mercy,

وَ يَسْتَوْجِبُ بِهِ رِضْوَانَكَ الَّذِي تُحِبُّ

demands by it Your satisfaction that You like,

وَ تَهْوَى وَ تَرْضَى عَمَّنْ دَعَاكَ بِهِ

desire, and accept upon whom prayed for You!

وَ هُوَ حَقٌّ عَلَيْكَ أَنْ لَا تَحْرِمَ بِهِ سَائِلَكَ

And it is the right that You do not deny the one who asks from you,

وَ بِكُلِّ اسْمٍ دَعَاكَ بِهِ الرُّوحُ الْأَمِينُ

and by every name was called on You by; the trustworthy spirit,

وَ الْمَلَائِكَةُ الْمُقَرَّبُونَ

the close Angels,

وَ الْحَفَظَةُ الْكِرَامُ الْكَاتِبُونَ

the recorders of deeds,

وَ أَنْبِيَاؤُكَ الْمُرْسَلُونَ وَ الْأَخْيَارُ الْمُنْتَجَبُونَ

Your sent Prophets, the chosen good.

وَ جَمِيعُ مَنْ فِي سَمَاوَاتِكَ وَ أَقْطَارِ أَرْضِكَ

And all who are in your heavens, the quarters of the earth,

وَ الصُّفُوفُ حَوْلَ عَرْشِكَ تُقَدِّسُ لَكَ

and queues around Your throne indeed do glorify You to;

أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

send Your blessings upon Muhammed and his Household

وَ أَنْ تَنْظُرَ فِي حَاجَتِي إِلَيْكَ

and look into my need from You.

وَ أَنْ تَرْزُقَنِي نَعِيمَ الْآخِرَةِ وَ حُسْنَ ثَوَابِ

Bestow upon me with Your favor of blisses of the end,

أَهْلِهَا فِي دَارِ الْمُقَامَةِ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ

the splendid reward of its people in the home that is made from Your Bounties,

وَ مَنَازِلَ الْأَخْيَارِ فِي ظِلٍّ أَمِينٍ

and the high standing of the best in a safe shade!

فَإِنَّكَ أَنْتَ بَرَأْتَنِي وَ أَنْتَ تُعِيدُنِي لَكَ

You are indeed The One who created me and will send me back to You.

أَسْلَمْتُ نَفْسِي وَ إِلَيْكَ فَوَّضْتُ أَمْرِي

To You have I; submitted myself, and I entrusted my affairs with You.

وَ إِلَيْكَ أَلْجَأْتُ ظَهْرِي

To You have I; commend my cause

وَ عَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَ بِكَ وَثِقْتُ

and rely and trust on You!

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَدْعُوكَ دُعَاءَ ضَعِيفٍ مُضْطَرٍّ

O, Allah, I supplicate You with the supplication of a compelled weak one!

وَ رَحْمَتُكَ يَا رَبِّ أَوْثَقُ عِنْدِي مِنْ دُعَائِي

And Your mercy is much more trusted to me than my prayer.

اللَّهُمَّ فَأْذَنِ اللَّيْلَةَ لِدُعَائِي أَنْ يَعْرُجَ إِلَيْكَ

O, Allah, therefore; permit my prayer to rise to You,

وَ أْذَنْ لِكَلَامِي أَنْ يَلِجَ إِلَيْكَ

permit my words to reach You,

وَ اصْرِفْ بَصَرَكَ عَنْ خَطِيئَتِي

and turn away Your sight from my sins.

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

O Allah, bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad;

وَ أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَضِلَّ فِي هَذِهِ اللَّيْلَةِ

I do seek Your refuge upon astray this night;

فَاسِقاً أَوْ أَنْ أَغْوِيَ نَاسِكاً

of disobedience or luring a believer!

أَوْ أَعْمَلَ بِمَا لَا تَهْوَى

Or to do deeds in what You don't like

فَأَنْتَ رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ الْعُلَى

because You are; the God of the high heavens,

وَ أَنْتَ تَرَى وَ لَا تُرَى وَ أَنْتَ بِالْمَنْظَرِ الْأَعْلَى

Verily You see but cannot be seen while You are in the Highest Prospect;

فالِقُ الْحَبِّ وَ النَّوى

splits the grain and the date-stone.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ اللَّيْلَةَ

O Allah, I beseech You this night;

أَفْضَلَ النَّصِيبِ فِي الْأَنْصِبَاءِ

the best of the destinies,

وَ أَتَمَّ النِّعْمَةِ فِي النَّعْمَاءِ

completing in blisses,

وَ أَفْضَلَ الشُّكْرِ فِي السَّرَّاءِ

the best praise in the ease,

وَ أَحْسَنَ الصَّبْرِ فِي الضَّرَّاءِ

the best patience in the adversity,

وَ أَفْضَلَ الرُّجُوعِ إِلَى أَفْضَلِ دَارِ الْمَأْوَى

and the best return to the best house of Permanence!

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

O Allah, bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,

وَ أَسْأَلُكَ الْمَحَبَّةَ لِمَحَابِّكَ

I ask; the love for Your well-beloved,

وَ الْعِصْمَةَ مِنْ مَحَارِمِكَ

the hindering of which You have deemed forbidden,

وَ الْوَجَلَ مِنْ خَشْيَتِكَ

be apprehended from Your fear,

وَ الْخَشْيَةَ مِنْ عَذَابِكَ

fearing Your chastisement,

وَ النَّجَاةَ مِنْ عِقَابِكَ

salvation from Your punishment,

وَ الرَّغْبَةَ فِي حُسْنِ ثَوَابِكَ

desire in a proper reward for You,

وَ الْفِقْهَ فِي دِينِكَ وَ الْفَهْمَ فِي كِتَابِكَ

knowledge in Your religion, understanding Your book,

وَ الْقُنُوعَ بِرِزْقِكَ وَ الْوَرَعَ عَنْ مَحَارِمِكَ

feeling the satisfaction in Your livelihood, God-fearing of which You have deemed forbidden,

وَ الِاسْتِحْلَالَ لِحَلَالِكَ وَ التَّحْرِيمَ لِحَرَامِكَ

deeming permissible for Your unforbidden, Forebodement of what You have deemed forbidden,

وَ الِانْتِهَاءَ عَنْ مَعَاصِيكَ وَ الْحِفْظَ لِوَصِيَّتِكَ

preventing sinful deeds, living up to Your will,

وَ الصِّدْقَ بِوَعْدِكَ وَ الْوَفَاءَ بِعَهْدِكَ

credence to Your promise, fulfillment of Your oath,

وَ الِاعْتِصَامَ بِحَبْلِكَ وَ الْوُقُوفَ عِنْدَ مَوْعِظَتِكَ

holding fast to Your bond, sticking at Your admonition,

وَ الِا زْدِجَارَ عِنْدَ زَوَاجِرِكَ

restrain from Your prohibitions,

وَ الِاصْطِبَارَ عَلَى عِبَادَتِكَ

patience upon Your worshipping

وَ الْعَمَلَ بِجَمِيعِ أَمْرِكَ

and working on all Your commands.

يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ

O Most Merciful of the merciful!

وَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ خَاتَمِ النَّبِيِّينَ

And send Your blessings upon Muhammed; the seal of prophets

وَ عَلَى عِتْرَتِهِ الْمَهْدِيِّينَ

and his leading Household

وَ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَ رَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَ بَرَكَاتُهُ

and peace be upon them with God's mercy and blessings.
