لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ ٱللَّهُ
There is no god save Allah;
- 2
وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَريكَ لَهُ
One and Only Lord and having no associate with Him.
- 3
لَهُ ٱلْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ ٱلْحَمْدُ
To him is the kingdom and to Him is all praise.

يُحيِي وَيُميتُ
He gives life and causes to die
- 5
وَهُوَ حَيٌّ لاَ يَمُوتُ
while He is Ever-living and He never dies.
- 6
بِيَدِهِ ٱلْخَيْرُ
In His hand is the good
- 7
وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَديرٌ
and He has power over all things.
- 8
اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
O Allah, (please do) bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.

سُبْحَانَ ٱللَّهِ
All glory be to Allah.
- 10
وهلّل خمسا وثلاثين مرّة:
iv.Then, repeat the statement of professing Almighty Allah being the one and only God (tahlil) thirty-five times:

لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ ٱللَّهُ
There is no god save Allah.

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ
All praise be to Allah.

أَللَّهُمَّ إِنّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِاسْمِكَ الَّذي بِهِ تَقُومُ السَّماءَ ، وَبِهِ تَقُومُ الْأَرْضَ، وَبِهِ تُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ الْحَقِّ وَالْباطِلِ ، وَبِهِ تَجْمَعُ بَيْنَ الْمُتَفَرِّقِ ، وَبِهِ تُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ الْمُجْتَمَعِ ، وَبِهِ أَحْصَيْتَ عَدَدَ الرِّمالِ ، وَزِنَةَ الْجِبالِ ، وَكَيْلَ الْبِحارِ ، أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، وَأَنْ تَجْعَلَ لي مِنْ أَمْري فَرَجاً وَمَخْرَجاً .
It is reported in the book ‘Al Junnatul Waqiya’ that Imam Mahdi (A.S.) said: Imam Sadiq (A.S.) used to recite this supplication every morning. [2]
