Sajda Shukr

لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ انْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ

la ilaha illa anta subhanaka

“There is no god save You. Be You Glorified!

إِنِّي كُنتُ مِنَ ٱلظَّالِمِينَ

inni kuntu min alzzalimina

Lo! I have been a wrongdoer.”

shukran shukran

Thanks, thanks.

عَفْواً عَفْواً

`afwan `afwan

Pardon! Pardon!

حَمْداً لِلَّهِ

hamdan lillahi

Praise be to Allah.

يَا رَبَّ ٱلارْبَابِ

ya rabba al-arbabi

O Lord of all lords,

وَيَا مَلِكَ ٱلْمُلُوكِ

wa ya malika almuluki

O King of all kings,

وَيَا سَيِّدَ ٱلسَّادَاتِ

wa ya sayyida alssadati

O master of all masters,

وَيَا جَبَّارَ ٱلْجَبَابِرَةِ

wa ya jabbara aljababirati

O Omnipotent of all the omnipotent,

وَيَا إِلٰهَ ٱلآلِهَةِ

wa ya ilaha al-alihati

and O God of all gods,

صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ…

salli `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin…

(please) send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad…

فَإِنِّي عَبْدُكَ نَاصِيَتِي فِي قَبْضَتِكَ

fa'inni `abduka nasiyati fi qabdatika

For I am Your servant and my forelock is in Your grasp.

سُبْحَانَكَ ٱللَّهُمَّ

subhanaka allahumma

All glory be to You, O Allah.

انْتَ رَبِّي حَقّاً حَقّاً

anta rabbi haqqan haqqan

You are my Lord, truly, truly.

سَجَدْتُ لَكَ يَا رَبِّ تَعَبُّداً وَرِقّاً

sajadtu laka ya rabbi ta`abbudan wa riqqan

I prostrate myself before You, O my Lord, out of my servitude and subjugation to You.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّ عَمَلِي ضَعِيفٌ فَضَاعِفْهُ لِي

allahumma inna `amali da`ifun fada`ifhu li

O Allah, my deed is certainly feeble; so, (please do) grant it strength by increasing it many times.

اللَّهُمَّ قِنِي عَذَابَكَ يَوْمَ تَبْعَثُ عِبَادَكَ

allahumma qini `adhabaka yawma tab`athu `ibadaka

O Allah, (please) save me from Your chastisement on the day when You shall resurrect Your servants,

وَتُبْ عَلَيَّ إِنَّكَ انْتَ ٱلتَّوَّابُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

wa tub `alayya innaka anta alttawwabu alrrahimu

and (please) accept my repentance. Verily, You are the Oft-Returning, the Most Merciful.

اعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ نَارٍ حَرُّهَا لاَ يُطْفَىٰ

a`udhu bika min narin harruha la yutfa

I pray for Your protection against the fire whose heat is inextinguishable.

وَاعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ نَارٍ جَدِيدُهَا لاَ يَبْلىٰ

wa a`udhu bika min narin jadiduha la yabla

I pray for Your protection against the fire whose newness never decays.

وَاعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ نَارٍ عَطْشَانُهَا لاَ يُرْوىٰ

wa a`udhu bika min narin`atshanuha la yurwa

I pray for Your protection against the fire whose thirsty is never quenched.

وَاعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ نَارٍ مَسْلُوبُهَا لاَ يُكْسَىٰ

wa a`udhu bika min narin maslubuha la yuksa

I pray for Your protection against the fire whose disrobed is never clothed.

يَا رَؤُوفُ يَا رَحِيمُ

ya ra'ufu ya rahimu

O All-kind! O All-merciful!

يَا رَبِّ يَا سَيِّدِي

ya rabbi ya sayyidi

O my Lord! O my Master!

اسْالُكَ ٱلرَّاحَةَ عِنْدَ ٱلْمَوْتِ

as'aluka alrrahata `inda almawti

I beseech You for rest at death

وَٱلْعَفْوَ عِنْدَ ٱلْحِسَابِ

wal`afwa `inda alhisabi

and pardon at (final) judgment.

سَجَدوَجْهِيَ ٱللَّئِيمُ لِوَجْهِ رَبِّيَ ٱلْ

sajada wajhiya alla'imu liwajhi rabbiya alkarimi

My mean face is prostrating before My Lord’s Noble Face.

إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي فَٱغْفِرْ لِي

inni zalamtu nafsi faghfir li

I have wronged myself; so, (please) forgive me.

اللَّهُمَّ مَغْفِرَتُكَ اوْسَعُ مِنْ ذُنُوبِي

allahumma maghfiratuka awsa`u min dhunubi

O Allah, Your forgiveness is more expansive than my sin

وَرَحْمَتُكَ ارْجَىٰ عِنْدِي مِنْ عَمَلِي

wa rahmatuka arja `indi min `amali

and Your mercy is more hopeful for me than my deeds.

فَٱغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِي يَا حَيّاً لاَ يَمُوتُ

faghfir li dhunubi ya hayyan la yamutu

So, (please) forgive my sins. O He Who is Ever-living and never dies!

يَا مُذِلَّ كُلِّ جَبَّارٍ

ya mudhilla kulli jabbarin

O Humiliator of all tyrants!

يَا مُعِزَّ كُلِّ ذَلِيلٍ

ya mu`izza kulli dhalilin

O Dignifier of all humble ones!

قَدْ وَحَقِّكَ بَلَغَ مَجْهُودِي

qad wa haqqika balagha majhudi

I, swearing by You, have exerted all efforts;

فَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

fasalli `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin

so, (please) send blessings upon Muhammad and his Household

وَفَرِّجْ عَنِّي

wa farrij `annai

and relieve me.

يَا اللَّهُ يَا رَبَّاهُ يَا سَيِّدَاهُ

ya allahu ya rabbahu ya sayyidahu

O Allah! O my Lord! O my Master!

يَا رَبَّاهُ يَا سَيِّدَاهُ

ya rabbahu ya sayyidahu

O my Lord! O my Master!

يَا رَبِّ مَاذَا عَلَيْكَ

ya rabbi madha `alayka

O my Lord, what will harm You

انْ تُرْضِيَ عَنِّي كُلَّ مَنْ كَانَ لَهُ عِنْدِي تَبِعَةٌ

an turdiya `anni kulla man kana lahu `indi tabi`atun

if You cause all those to whom I am indebted by a claim to be pleased with me,

وَانْ تَغْفِرَ لِي ذُنُوبِي

wa an taghfira li dhunubi

forgive my sins,

وَانْ تُدْخِلَنِي ٱلْجَنَّةَ بِرَحْمَتِكَ

wa an tudkhilani aljannata birahmatika

and allow me enter Paradise, out of Your mercy.

فَإِنَّمَا عَفْوُكَ عَنِ ٱلظَّالِمِينَ

fa'innama `afwuka `an alzzalimina

Verily, Your pardon is for the wrongdoers,

وَانَا مِنَ ٱلظَّالِمِينَ

wa ana min alzzalimina

and I am one of the wrongdoers;

فَلْتَسَعْنِي رَحْمَتُكَ يَا ارْحَمَ ٱلرَّاحِمِينَ

faltasa`ni rahmatuka ya arhama alrrahimina

so, (please) let Your mercy include me, O most Merciful of all those who show mercy.

عَظُمَ الذَّنْبُ مِنْ عَبْدِكَ فَلْيُحْسِنِ الْعَفْوُ مِنْ عِنْدِكَ

ʿAẓuma adh-dhanbu min ʿabdika fa-lyaḥsini al-ʿafwu min ʿindika

Great is the sin from Your servant, so let forgiveness be better and good from You.

إلٰهي عُبَيْدُكَ بِفِنَائِك ، مِسْكِينُكَ بِفِنَائِك ، فَقِيرُكَ بِفِنَائِك

“Ilāhī `Ubayduka bi Finā’ik; Miskīnuka bi Finā’ik, Faqīruka bi Finā’ik

(O Allāh ! Your slave is at Your dooryard; Your wretched one is at Your dooryard, Your destitute is at Your dooryard)”.

یَا رَبِّ وَعَظْتَنِی فَلَمْ اَتَّعِظْ

Ya Rabbi wa'aztani falam atta'idh

O my Lord, You advised me, but I did not take heed.

وَزَجَرْتَنِی عَنْ مَحَارِمِکَ فَلَمْ اَنْزَجِرْ

Wa zajartani 'an maharimika falam anzajir

And You warned me against Your prohibitions, but I did not refrain.

وَغَمَرَتْنِی اَیَادِیکَ فَمَا شَکَرْتُ

Wa ghamaratni ayādīka fā mā shakartu

And Your blessings overwhelmed me, but I did not show gratitude.

عَفْوَکَ عَفْوَکَ یَا کَرِیْمُ

'Afwuka 'afwuka ya Kareem

Your pardon, Your pardon, O Generous One!

اَسْئَلُکَ الرَّاحَۃَ عِنْدَ الْمَوْتِ

As’aluka ar-raahata 'indal mawt

I ask You for comfort at the time of death.

وَاَسْئَلُکَ الْعَفْوَ عِنْدَ الْحِسَابِ

Wa as’aluka al-'afwa 'indal hisab

And I ask You for pardon during the reckoning.

یَا مَنْ لَا یَزِیْدُہٗ اِلْحَاحُ الْمُلِحِّیْنَ اِلَّا جُوْدًا وَ کَرَمًا

Ya man la yazeeduhu ilhāhu al-mulihheena illa joodan wa karama

O One whose generosity and kindness only increase with persistent requests.

یَا مَنْ لَہٗ خَزَائِنُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الْاَرْضِ

Ya man lahu khazā’inu as-samāwāti wal-ard

O One to whom belong the treasures of the heavens and the earth.

یَا مَنْ لَہٗ خَزَائِنُ مَا دَقَّ وَ جَلَّ

Ya man lahu khazā’inu ma daqqa wa jalla

O One who holds the treasures of all that is small and great.

لَا تَمْنَعُکَ اِسَائَتِیْ مِنْ اِحْسَانِکَ

La tamna'uka isā’ati min ihsānika

My wrongdoing does not prevent Your goodness.

اَسْئَلُکَ اَنْ تَفْعَلَ بِیْ مَا اَنْتَ اَہْلَہٗ

As’aluka an taf‘ala bee ma anta ahluhu

I ask You to treat me as You deserve.

فَاَنْتَ اَہْلُ الْجُوْدِ وَ الْکَرَمِ وَ الْعَفْوِ

Fa anta ahlu al-joodi wal-karami wal-'afwi

For You are worthy of generosity, kindness, and forgiveness.

یَا رَبِّ وَ اَنْتَ قَادِرٌ عَلَی الْعُقُوْبَۃِ

Ya Rabbi wa anta qadirun 'ala al-'uqooba

O my Lord, You are able to punish.

یَا رَبِّ وَ قَدِ اسْتَحْقَقْتُہَا

Ya Rabbi wa qad istahaqtuha

O my Lord, and indeed I deserve it.

لَا حُجَّۃَ لِیْ وَ لَا عُذْرَ لِیْ عِنْدَکَ

La hujjata li wa la ‘udhra li ‘indak

I have no argument and no excuse before You.

اِلَیْکَ اَلْجَاتُ اُمُوْرِیْ کُلَّہَا

Ilayka aljātu umoori kullaha

To You, I surrender all my affairs.

اَعْتَرِفُ بِہَا کَیْ تَعْفُوَ عَنِّیْ

A’tarifu biha kay ta’fu 'anni

I admit them so that You may forgive me.

وَ اَنْتَ اَعْلَمُ بِہَا مِنِّیْ

Wa anta a’lamu biha minni

And You know them better than I do.

یُؤْتَ اِلَیْکَ بِکُلِّ ذَنْبٍ اَذْنَبْتُہٗ

Yu'ta ilayka bikulli dhanbin adh-nabtuhu

I bring before You every sin I have committed.

وَ بِکُلِّ خَطِیْئَۃٍ اَخْطَاتُہَا

Wa bi kulli khatee'atin akhta’tuha

And every mistake I have made.

وَ بِکُلِّ سَیِّئَۃٍ عَمِلْتُہَا

Wa bi kulli sayyi’atin ‘amiltuha

And every bad deed I have done.

فَاغْفِرْ وَ ارْحَمْ وَ تَجَاوَزْ عَمَّا تَعْلَمُ

Faghfir warham wa tajāwaz ‘amma ta‘lam

So forgive, have mercy, and overlook what You know.

اِنَّکَ اَنْتَ الْاَعَزُّ الْاَکْرَمُ

Innaka anta al-‘azzu al-akram

Indeed, You are the Most Mighty, the Most Generous.

اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّي اَتَقَرَّبُ اِلَيْكَ بِجُودِكَ وَ كَرَمِكَ

Allahumma inni ataqarrabu ilayka bijoodika wa karamika

O Allah, I draw near to You through Your generosity and kindness.

وَاَتَقَرَّبُ اِلَيْكَ بِمُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدِكَ وَرَسُولِكَ

Wa ataqarrabu ilayka bi-Muhammadin 'abdika wa rasoolika

And I draw near to You through Muhammad, Your servant and Messenger.

وَاَتَقَرَّبُ اِلَيْكَ بِمَلَائِكَتِكَ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ

Wa ataqarrabu ilayka bimalā'ikatika al-muqarrabeen

And I draw near to You through Your close angels.

وَاَنْبِيَائِكَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ

Wa anbiya'ika al-mursaleen

And through Your sent prophets.

وَبِكَ اَللّٰهُمَّ لَكَ الْغِنِيُّ عَنِّي

Wabika Allahumma laka al-ghaniyyu 'anni

And through You, O Allah, You are independent of me.

وَبِيَ الْفَاقَةُ اِلَيْكَ

Wabiya al-faqatu ilayk

And I am in need of You.

اَنْتَ الْغَنِيُّ وَ اَنَا الْفَقِيرُ اِلَيْكَ

Anta al-ghaniyyu wa ana al-faqeeru ilayk

You are the Rich, and I am the poor towards You.

اَقِلْنِي عَثْرَتِي

Aqilni 'athrati

Pardon my mistakes.

وَاسْتُرْ عَلَيَّ ذُنُوبِي

Wasturni 'ala dhunoobi

And cover my sins.

وَاقْضِ الْيَوْمَ حَاجَتِي

Waqdi al-yawma hajati

And fulfill my needs today.

وَلَا تُعَذِّبْنِي بِقَبِيحِ مَا تَعْلَمُ مِنِّي

Wala tu'adh-dhibni bi-qabeehi ma ta'lamu minni

And do not punish me for the ugly things You know of me.

بَلْ عَفْوُكَ يَسَعُنِي وَ جُودُكَ

Bal 'afwuka yasa'uni wa jooduka

But rather, let Your pardon and generosity encompass me.

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ ٱلْفَجْرِ وَٱللَّيَالِي ٱلْعَشْرِ

allahumma rabba alfajri wallayali al`ashri

O Allah, O Lord of the daybreak, the ten nights,

وَٱلشَّفْعِ وَٱلْوَتْرِ

walshshaf`i walwatri

the even and the odd,

وَٱللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَسْرِ

wallayli idha yasri

and the night when it departs!

وَرَبَّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ

wa rabba kulli shay'in

O Lord of all things!

وَإِلٰهَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ

wa ilaha kulli shay'in

O Lord of all things!

وَخَالِقَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ

wa khaliqa kulli shay'in

O Creator of all things!

وَمَلِكَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ

wa malika kulli shay'in

O King of all things!

صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ

salli `ala muhammadin wa alihi

(Please) send blessings upon Muhammad and his Household,

وَٱفْعَلْ بِي وَبِـ… مَا انْتَ اهْلُهُ

waf`al bi wa bi… ma anta ahluhu

do to me and to so-and-so that which befits You,

وَلاَ تَفْعَلْ بِنَا مَا نَحْنُ اهْلُهُ

wa la taf`al bina ma nahnu ahluhu

but do not do to us that which we deserve,

فَإِنَّكَ اهْلُ ٱلتَّقْوَىٰ وَاهْلُ ٱلْمَغْفِرَةِ

fa'innaka ahlu alttaqwa wa ahlu almaghfirati

for You are verily worthy to be feared and worthy to forgive.

اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ

allahumma laka alhamdu

O Allah, all praise be to You;

لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاََّ انْتَ

la ilaha illa anta

there is no god save You;

عَالِمُ ٱلْغَيْبِ وَٱلشَّهَادَةِ

`alimu alghaybi walshshahadati

(You are) the Knower of all the unseen and the seen

ٱلرَّحْمٰنُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

alrrahmanu alrrahimu

and You are the All-beneficent and All-merciful.

اللَّهُمَّ اذْهِبْ عَنِّي ٱلْهَمَّ وَٱلْحَزَنَ

allahumma adhhib `anniya alhamma walhazana

O Allah, (please) put away from me distress, grief,

وَٱلْغِيَرَ وَٱلْفِتَنَ

walghiyara walfitana

vicissitudes (of time), and seditious matters;

مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ

ma zahara minha wa ma batana

both the explicit and the implicit.

اََللّهُم اِلَيْكَ تَوَ جّهْتُ وَ بِكَ اعْتَصَمْتُ وَ عَلَيْكَ تَوَ كَلْتُ، اََللّهُم اَنْتَ ثِقَتِىْ وَ رَجَائِىْ، فَاکْفِنِىْ مَا اَهَمّنِىْ وَ مَا لَمْ يُهِمّنِىْ وَ مَا اَنْتَ اَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنّىْ، عَزّ جَارُكَ وَ جَلّ ثَنَاؤُكَ وَ لَ اِلٰهَ غَيْرُكَ، صَلّ عَلٰی مُحَمّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمّدٍ وَ عَجّلْ فَرَجَهُمْ...

O Allah, towards You I have turned, and in You I have sought refuge, and upon You I have placed my trust. O Allah, You are my confidence and my hope, so suffice me in what concerns me and what does not concern me, and in what You know better than I. Mighty is Your protection, and exalted is Your praise, and there is no god other than You. Send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, and hasten their relief.

أَللَّهُمَّ إِنّي اُشْهِدُكَ ، وَاُشْهِدُ مَلائِكَتَكَ وَأَنْبِياءَكَ وَرُسُلَكَ وَجَميعَ خَلْقِكَ بِأَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ رَبّي ، وَالْإِسْلامُ ديني ، وَمُحَمَّدٌ نَبِيّي ، وَعَلِيٌّ وَلِيّي ، وَالْحَسَنُ وَالْحُسَيْنُ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ وَجَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ وَمُوسَى بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُوسى وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ وَالْخَلَفُ الصَّالِحُ صَلَواتُكَ عَلَيْهِمْ أَئِمَّتي ، بِهِمْ أَتَوَلَّى ، وَمِنْ عَدُوِّهِمْ أَتَبَرَّءُ . أَللَّهُمَّ إِنّي اُنْشِدُكَ دَمَ الْمَظْلُومِ .

“O’ Allah, I hold You witness, and I hold all Your angels and Prophets and Messengers and the entire creation witness on the fact that certainly You are Allah, My Lord, and my religion is Islam, and Mohammad is my Prophet, and Ali is my Guardian, and Hasan, Husain, Ali bn Husain, Mohamad bin Ali, Jafar bin Mohammad, Musa bin Jafar, Ali bin Musa, Mohammad bin Ali, Ali bin Mohammad, Hasan bin Ali, and their noble successor, peace be upon them, my Imams, I express my devotion towards them, and my dislike towards their enemies. O’ Allah, I adjure You for the blood of the oppressed.

أَللَّهُمَّ إِنّي اُنْشِدُكَ بِوَأْيِكَ عَلى نَفْسِكَ لِأَوْلِيائِكَ ، لَتُظْهِرَنَّهُمْ عَلى عَدُوِّكَ وَعَدُوِّهِمْ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى الْمُسْتَحْفَظينَ مِنْ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ .

O’ Allah, I adjure You by the promise You made to Your friends that You will make them victorious over Your enemies and their enemies, I adjure You to bless Mohammad and the protectors from his household.

أَللَّهُمَّ إِنّي اُنْشِدُكَ بِإيوائِكَ عَلى نَفْسِكَ لِأَعْدائِكَ ، لَتُهْلِكَنَّهُمْ وَلَتُخْزِيَنَّهُمْ بَأَيْديهِمْ وَأَيْدِى الْمُؤْمِنينَ ، أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى الْمُسْتَحْفَظينَ مِنْ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

O’ Allah, indeed I adjure You by the pledge You made to yourself regarding Your enemies that You will destroy them, and will humiliate them by their own hands and by the hands of the believers, I adjure You to bless Mohammad and the Protectors from Mohammad’s household.

أَللَّهُمَّ إِنّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْيُسْرَ بَعْدَ الْعُسْرِ

O’ Allah, I ask You for ease and relief after difficulties and hardships. [1]

لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ حَقّاً حَقّاً لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ إِيمَاناً وَ تَصْدِيقاً لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ عُبُودِيَّةً وَ رِقّاً سَجَدْتُ لَكَ يَا رَبِّ تَعَبُّداًوَ رِقّاً لَا مُسْتَنْكِفاً وَ لَا مُسْتَكْبِراً بَلْ أَنَا عَبْدٌ ذَلِيلٌ خَائِفٌ مُسْتَجِير

La ilaha illal lahu haqqan haqqa; La ilaha illal lahu imanan wa tasdiqa; la ilaha illal lahu 'ubudiyyatan wa riqqa; Sajadtu laka ya Rabbi ta'abbudan wa riqqa la mustankifan wa la mustak biran bal ana 'abdun zalilun za'ifun kha'ifun mustajir.

There is no god but Allah, truly, truly. There is no god but Allah, in faith and affirmation. There is no god but Allah, in servitude and submission. I have prostrated to You, O my Lord, in worship and submission, not disdaining nor being arrogant. Rather, I am a humble, fearful servant seeking refuge.

اَللّٰہُمَّ خِرْ لِیْ.

ALLAAHUMMA KHIR LEE.

O Allah! Choose me (for goodness).

يَا أَهْلَ التَّقْوَى وَالْمَغْفِرَةِ،

Yā ahla at-taqwā wa-l-maghfirah,

O Worthy of being feared and Lord of forgiveness,

يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ،

Yā arḥama ar-rāḥimīn,

O Most Merciful of the merciful!

أَنْتَ مَوْلَايَ وَسَيِّدِي،

Anta mawlāya wa sayyidī,

You are my Master and my Lord,

فَارْزُقْنِي،

Farzuqnī,

So grant me sustenance and grace.

أَنْتَ خَيْرٌ لِي مِنْ أَبِي وَأُمِّي،

Anta khayrun lī min abī wa ummī,

You are better for me than my father and my mother,

وَمِنَ النَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ،

Wa mina an-nāsi ajmaʿīn,

And better than all people together.

بِي إِلَيْكَ فَقْرٌ وَفَاقَةٌ،

Bī ilayka faqrٌ wa fāqah,

From me to You is poverty and need,

وَأَنْتَ غَنِيٌّ عَنِّي،

Wa anta ghanīyun ʿannī,

And You are free of any need from me.

أَسْأَلُكَ بِوَجْهِكَ الْكَرِيمِ،

As’aluka bi-wajhika al-karīm,

I beseech You by Your Noble and Generous Face,

وَأَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ،

Wa as’aluka an tuṣalliya ʿalā Muḥammadin wa āli Muḥammad,

And I ask You to send blessings upon Muḥammad and the family of Muḥammad,

وَعَلَىٰ إِخْوَانِهِ النَّبِيِّينَ وَالْأَئِمَّةِ الطَّاهِرِينَ،

Wa ʿalā ikhwanihi an-nabiyyīn wa al-a’immati aṭ-ṭāhirīn,

And upon his brothers — the Prophets — and the pure, immaculate Imams.

وَتَسْتَجِيبَ دُعَائِي،

Wa tastajība duʿā’ī,

And that You answer my supplication,

وَتَرْحَمَ تَضَرُّعِي،

Wa tarḥama taḍarruʿī,

Have mercy on my humble plea,

وَاصْرِفْ عَنِّي أَنْوَاعَ الْبَلَاءِ،

Wa aṣrif ʿannī anwāʿa al-balā’,

And turn away from me every kind of trial and affliction,

يَا رَحْمٰنُ.

Yā Raḥmān,

O Most Compassionate,

شُكْرًا لِلهِ

SHUKRAN LILLAAH

Thanks to Allah

عَفْوًا عَفْوًا

A’FWAN A’FWAN

Forgive, forgive.0

لَكَ الْـحَمْدُ اِنْ اَطَعْتُكَ وَ لَا حُـجَّةَ لِيْ اِنْ عَصَيْتُكَ‏ وَ لَا صُنْعَ لِيْ وَ لَا لِغَيْرِيْ فِيْ اِحْسَانِكَ وَ لَا عُذْرَ لِيْ اِنْ اَسَاْتُ مَا اَصَابَنِيْ مِنْ حَسَنَةٍ فَمِنْكَ يَا كَرِيْمُ اِغْفِرْ لِمَنْ فِيْ مَشَارِقِ الْاَرْضِ وَ مَغَارِبِهَا مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ.

Lakal Hamdo In A-Ta’toka Wa Laa Hujjata Lee In A’saytoka Wa Laa Sun-A’ Lee Wa Laa Le-Ghayree Fee Ehsaaneka Wa Laa U’zra Lee In Asaato Maa Asaabanee Min Hasanatin Fa-Minka Yaa Kareemo Ighfir Leman Fee Mashaareqil Arze Wa Maghaarebehaa Menal Moameneena Wal Moamenaat.

Praise belongs to You, if I obey You. I have no reasons nor any excuses should I disobey You. Neither me nor others can do anything in return for Your Kindness. I have no excuse for any bad deeds. Whatever good I receive is all from You. O the Gracious! Please forgive all the believing men and women in the East and the West of the Earth.0

اَللّٰهُمَّ لَكَ سَجَدْتُ وَ بِكَ اٰمَنْتُ وَ لَكَ اَسْلَمْتُ وَ عَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ اَنْتَ رَبِّيْ سَـجَدَ لَكَ وَجْهِيْ وَ شَعْرِيْ وَ بَشَرِيْ وَ مُـخِّيْ وَ لَـحْمِيْ وَ دَمِيْ وَ عَصَبِيْ وَ عِظَامِيْ سَـجَدَ وَجْهِيَ الْبَالِي الْفَانِيَ الذَّلِيْلُ الْمَهِيْنُ لِلَّذِيْ خَلَقَهٗ وَ صَوَّرَهٗ وَ شَقَّ سَمْعَهٗ وَ بَصَرَهٗ تَبَارَكَ اللهُ اَحْسَنُ الْـخَالِقِيْنَ سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْاَعْلٰى وَ بِـحَمْدِهٖ.‏

Allaahumma Laka Sajadto Wa Beka Aamanto Wa Laka Aslamto Wa A’layka Tawakkalto Anta Rabbee Sajada Laka Wajhee Wa Sha’ree Wa Basharee Wa Mukhkhee Wa Lahmee Wa Damee Wa A’sabee Wa E’zaamee Sajada Wajheyal Baalil Faaniz Zaleelul Maheeno Lil-Lazee Khalaqahu Wa Sawwarahu Wa Shaqqa Sam-A’hu Wa Basarahu Tabaarakal Laaho Ahsanul Khaaleqeena Subhaana Rabbeyal A-A’laa Wa Be-Hamdeh.

O Allah! For You I prostrate, and on You I believe, and to You I submit, and on You I rely, You are my Lord, prostrated for You my face, and my hair, and my skin, and my brain, and my flesh, and my blood and my nerve, and my bones, prostrated my wretched face, the mortal, the humble, the humiliated, for the One Who has created it and shaped it, and split its hearing and sight, blessed be Allah, the most excellent of all creators, All glory be to Allah, the All-High, and in praise of Him.

بِسْمِ اللہِ وَ بِاللہِ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ اَیُّہَا النَّبِیُّ وَ رَحْمَۃُ اللہِ وَ بَرَكَاتُہٗ.

Bismil Laahe Wa Billaahe Assalaamo A’layka Ayyohan Nabiyyo Wa Rahmatul Laahe Wa Barakaatoh.

In the name of Allah and by Allah. O Prophet! Allah’s peace, blessings and grace be upon you!0

يَا مُذِلَّ كُلِّ جَبَّارٍ عَنِيْدٍ يَا مُعِزَّ كُلِّ ذَلِيْلٍ قَدْ وَ حَقِّكَ بَلَغَ مَـجْهُوْدِيْ فَصَلِّ عَلٰى مُـحَمَّدٍ وَ اٰلِهٖ وَ فَرِّجْ عَنِّيْ.

Yaa Mozilla Kulle Jabbaarin A’needin Yaa O-I’zza Kulle Zaleelin Qad Wa Haqqeqa Balagha Majhoodee Fa-Salle A’laa Mohammadin Wa Aalehi Wa Farrij A’nnee.

O Humiliator of all tyrants! O Dignifier of all humble ones! I, swearing by You, have exerted all efforts; so, send blessings upon Muhammad and his Household and relieve me.0
