  1. PRAYER FOR FORGIVENESS — Offer a two unit prayer in each unit of which you may recite Surah <ref=1:112>al-Ekhlas</ref> sixty times (of course, after Surah <ref=1:1>Al-Fatehah</ref> . When you finish, your sins will be forgiven. — ANOTHER PRAYER FOR FORGIVENESS — Within the devotional rites on Friday, Shaykh al-Tusi, in Misbah al- Mutahajjid, has quoted the following: ‘Abdullah ibn Mas’ud is reported to have quoted the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) as saying: Whoever offers a two unit prayer on Fridays after the ‘Asr (afternoon) prayer, in the first unit of which he recites Surah <ref=1:1>Al-Fatehah</ref> and <ref=1:2:255>Ayah al-Kursi</ref> and repeats Surah <ref=1:113>Al-Falaq</ref> twenty-five times, and in the second unit, he recites Surah al-Faatehah and Surah <ref=1:112>al-Ekhlas</ref> and repeats Surah <ref=1:114>Al-Nas</ref> twenty-five times and repeats after accomplishment the following statement twenty-five times, will not depart this world before Almighty Allah shows him Paradise in dreams and shows him his place therein:
  2. Sayyid Ibn Tawus, in Jamal al-Usbu’, Chapter: 33, has mentioned a form of prayer for forgiveness. About this prayer, he added, “This is a great and noble prayer that is known well by the bearers of the divine secrets. Hence, beware of belittling this prayer.” However, refer to the book involved in order to acquaint yourself with this prayer — أقول : روى السيد ابن طاووس في الفصل الثالث والثلاثين من (جمال الأسبوع) صلاة لغفران الذنوب وقال في شأنها إن هذه صلاة جليلة القدر عظيمة الشأن يعرفها حملة الاسرار الربوبية فإيّاك أن تتهاون فيها فمن رغب فيها فليطلبها من الكتاب المذكور — PRAYER FOR PARDON — This prayer consists of two units in each of which Surah <ref=1:1>Al-Fatehah</ref> and Surah <ref=1:97>Al-Qadr</ref> are recited once each. After the recitation of these Surahs, the following supplicatory prayer is repeated fifteen times:
