Saturday Duas

Saturday Rites. — 4th Imam dua — Sy Fatima(sa)dua — Imam Ali(as)dua — Ziyarats — Tasbih — Salats — Night — Saturday Dua of Imam Zainul Abideen (peace be upon him)

بِسْمِ ٱللَّه ٱلرَّحْمٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

bismillahi alrrahmani alrrahimi

In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ كَلِمَةِ ٱلْمُعْتَصِمِينَ

bismillahi kalimati almuʿtasimina

"In the name of Allah," the word of those who hold fast to Him,

وَمَقَالَةِ ٱلْمُتَحَرِّزِينَ

wa maqalati almutaharrizina

the speech of those who seek His protection

وَ أَعُوذُ بِٱللَّهِ تَعَالَىٰ مِنْ جَوْرِ ٱلْجَائِرِينَ

wa aʿudhu billahi taʿala min jawri alja'irina

I seek refuge in Allah, high exalted is He, from the injustice of the unjust,

وَكَيْدِ ٱلْحَاسِدِينَ

wa kaydi alhasidina

the trickery of the enviers,

وَبَغْيِ ٱلظَّالِمِينَ

wa baghyi alzzalimina

and the oppression of the wrongdoers,

وَ أَحْمَدُهُ فَوْقَ حَمْدِ ٱلْحَامِدِينَ

wa ahmaduhu fawqa hamdi alhamidina

and I praise Him beyond the praise of the praisers!

اَللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ ٱلْوَاحِدُ بِلا شَرِيكٍ

allahumma anta alwahidu bila sharikin

O Allah, You are the One without partner,

وَٱلْمَلِكُ بِلا تَمْلِيكٍ

wa almaliku bila tamlikin

and the King without having been made sovereign;

لاَ تُضَادُّ فِي حُكْمِكَ

la tudaddu fi hukmika

no one opposes You in Your decree

وَلاَ تُنَازَعُ فِي مُلْكِكَ

wa la tunazaʿu fi mulkika

and no one contests You in Your kingdom.

أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ

as'aluka an tusalliya ʿala muhammadin

I beseech You to bless Muhammad

عَبْدِكَ وَرَسُولِكَ

ʿabdika wa rasulika

Your servant and Your messenger,

وَأَنْ تُوْزِعَنِي مِنْ شُكْرِ نَعْمَاكَ

wa an tuziʿani min shukri naʿmaka

inspire me with a thanksgiving for Your favors

مَا تَبْلُغُ بِي غَايَةَ رِضَاكَ

ma tablughu bi ghayata ridaka

that You take to the utmost limit of Your good pleasure,

وَأَنْ تُعِينَنِي عَلَىٰ طَاعَتِكَ

wa an tuʿinani ʿala taʿatika

help me to obey You,

وَلُزُومِ عِبَادَتِكَ

wa luzumi ʿibadatika

hold fast to worshiping You,

وَٱسْتِحْقَاقِ مَثُوبَتِكَ

wastihqaqi mathubatika

and deserve Your reward,

بِلُطْفِ عِنَايَتِكَ

bilutfi ʿinayatika

through the gentleness of Your solicitude

وَتَرْحَمَنِي وَتَصُدَّنِي عَنْ مَعَاصِيكَ مَا أَحْيَيْتَنِي

wa tarhamani wa tasuddani ʿan maʿasika ma ahyaytani

have mercy upon me, bar me from acts of disobedience to You as long as You keep me alive,

وَتُوَفِّقَنِي لِمَا يَنْفَعُنِي مَا أَبْقَيْتَنِي

wa tuwaffiqani lima yanfaʿuni ma abqaytani

give me success in what profits me as long as You spare me,

وَأَنْ تَشْرَحَ بِكِتَابِكَ صَدْرِي

wa an tashraha bikitabika sadri

expand my breast through Your Book,

وَتَحُطَّ بِتِلاوَتِهِ وِزْرِي

wa tahutta bitilawatihi wizri

lessen my burden through its recitation,

وَتَمْنَحَنِي ٱلسَّلامَةَ فِي دِينِي وَنَفْسِي

wa tamnahani alssalamata fi dini wa nafsi

bestow upon me health in my religion and my soul,

وَلاَ تُوحِشْ بِي أَهلَ أُنْسِي

wa la tuhisha bi ahla unsi

estrange not my intimates from me,

وَتُتِمَّ إِحْسَانَكَ فِيمَا بَقِيَ مِنْ عُمُرِي

wa tutimma ihsanaka fima baqiya min ʿumri

and complete Your beneficence in what is left of my lifetime,

كَمَا أَحْسَنْتَ فِيمَا مَضَىٰ مِنْهُ

kama ahsanta fima mada minhu

just as You have shown beneficence in that of it which has passed!

يَا ارْحَمَ ٱلرَّاحِمِينَ

ya arhama arrahimina

O Most Merciful of all those who show mercy!

اَللّٰهُمَّ افْتَحْ لَنَا خَزَائِنَ رَحْمَتِكَ،

allaahummaf tah lanaa khazaa-ena rahmateka,

O God, open for us the treasures of mercy

وَ هَبْ لَنَا اللّٰهُمَّ رَحْمَةً لَا تُعَذِّبُنَا بَعْدَهَا فِيْ الدُّنْيَا وَ الْاٰخِرَةِ،

wa hab lanal laahumma rahmatan laa to-a’zzebonaa ba’dahaa fid dunyaa wal aakherate,

and bestow upon us that mercy, after which there is no chastisement whether in the world or the hereafter

وَ ارْزُقْنَا مِنْ فَضْلِكَ الْوَاسِعِ رِزْقًا حَلَالًا طَيِّبًا،

war zuqnaa min fazlekal waase-e’ rizqan halaalan tayyeban

Through your vast favors bestow upon us lawful and pure sustenance

وَ لَا تُحْوِجْنَا، وَ لَا تُفْقِرْنَا اِلٰى اَحَدٍ سِوَاكَ،

wa laa tohwijnaa, wa laa tufqirnaa elaa ahadin sewaaka

and other than Yourself, do not make us needful of anyone.

وَ زِدْنَا بِذٰلِكَ شُكْرًا وَ اِلَيْكَ فَقْرًا وَ فَاقَةً

wa zidnaa be-zaaleka shukran wa elayka faqran wa faaqatan

Increase our thankfulness and keep us in need of You and Poor in front of You

وَ بِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ غِنًى وَ تَعَفُّفًا.

wa beka a’mman sewaaka ghenan wa ta-a’ffofan

and make us needless and respectable to everyone other than You.

اَللّٰهُمَّ وَسِّعْ عَلَيْنَا فِيْ الدُّنْيَا،

allaahumma wasse’ a’laynaa fid dunyaa,

O God, bestow us wideness in the world

اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنَّا نَعُوْذُ بِكَ اَنْ تَزْوِيَ وَجْهَكَ عَنَّا فِيْ حَالٍ،

allaahumma innaa na-o’ozo beka an tazweya wajhaka a’nnaa fee haalin

. O master, we seek your refuge from that You should turn away from us at any time,

وَ نَحْنُ نَرْغَبُ اِلَيْكَ فِيْهِ.

wa nahno narghabo elayka feehe.

while we address You.

اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ،

allaahumma salle a’laa mohammadin wa aale mohammadin,

O God, bless Muhammad and the progeny of Muhammad,

وَ اَعْطِنَا مَا تُحِبُّ،

wa a-a’tenaa maa tohibbo,

, and bestow on us all that You like,

وَ اجْعَلْهُ لَنَا قُوَّةً فِيْمَا تُحِبُّ، يَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ.

waj a’lho lanaa quwwatan feemaa tohibbo, yaa arhamar raahemeen.

and make it for us strength in what You like, O the most merciful of the merciful ones.

بِسْمِ اﷲِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْم

In the name of Allah the Beneficent the Merciful.

َالْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِيْ قَرَنَ رَجَآئِيْ بِعَفْوِهٖ وَ فَسَحَ اَمَلِيْ بِحُسْنِ تَجَاوُزِهٖ وَ صَفْحِهٖ وَ قُوَّيٰ مَتْنِيِ وَ ظَهْرِيْ وَ سَاعِدِيْ وَ يَدِيْ بِمَا عَرَّفَنِيْ مِنْ جُوْدِهٖ وَ کَرَمِهٖ

Praise is for Allah Who has connected my wishes with His forgiveness. And has spread my desires with His mercy. Has strengthened my back and the shoulders by His Generosity and Recognitions.

وَلَمْ يُخْلِنِيْ مَعَ مَقَامِيْ عَلٰي مَعْصِيَتِهٖ وَ تَقْصِيْرِيْ فِيْ طَاعَتِهٖ وَمَا يُحِقُّ عَلَيَّ مِنْ اِعْتِقَادِ خَشْيَتِهٖ وَ اِسْتِشْعَارِ خِيْفَتِهٖ مِنْ تَوَاتُرِ مِنَنِهٖ وَ تَظَاهُرِ نِعَمِهٖ

He has not left me without obligation and favours when I am involved in sins and disobedience. And was negligent in His obedience, and have not fulfilled the right of His fear and His chastisement.

وَ سُبْحَانَ اﷲِ الَّذِيْ يَتَوَکَّلُ کُلُّ مُؤْمِنٍ عَلَيْهِ وَ يَضْطَرُّ کُلُّ حَاجَۃٍ اِلَيْهِ وَلاَ يَسْتَغْنِيْ اَحَدٌ اِلاَّ بِفَضْلِ مَا لَدَيْهِ وَلَآ اِلٰهَ اِلاَّ اﷲُ الْمُقِيْلُ عَلٰي مَنْ اَعْرَضَ عَنْ ذِکْرِهِ

Allah is Pure on whom the believers rely and are devoted to Him in all the condition. No one is independent of His grace. There is no god except Allah who is attentive to the one who is negligent about Him.

التَّوَّابُ عَلٰي مَنْ تَابَ اِلَيْهِ مِنْ عَظِيْمِ ذَنْبِهٖ

Who accepts the repentance of the one who does sins excessively.

السَّاخِطُ عَلٰي مَنْ قَنَطَ مِنْ وَاسِعِ رَحْمَتِهٖ وَ يَئِسَ مِنْ عَاجِلِ رَوْحِهٖ

And He is displeased on the one who has lost hopes of His Vast Blessings and Mercy,

وَاﷲُ اَکْبَرُ خَالِقُ کُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَمَالِکُهُ وَ مُبِيْدُ کُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَمُهْلِکُهٗ وَاﷲُ اَکْبَرُ کَبِيْرًا کَمَا هُوَ اَهْلُهٗ وَ مُسْتَحِقَّهٗ

and Allah is above all the things, Creator and Lord of all the things, the eradicator and destroyer of all the things and Allah is Great, the greatness which He deserves and it befits Him.

اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰي مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدِکَ وَ نَبِيِّکَ وَ رَسُوْلِکَ وَ اَمِيْنِکَ وَ شَاهِدِکَ التَّقِيِّ النَّقِيِّ وَ عَلٰي اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ الطَّيِّبِيْنَ الطَّاهِرِيْنَ

O Allah send blessings on Mohammad Your servant, Your prophet, Your messenger, Your trustworthy, Your witness, Pure and noble and on his progeny the Purified.

اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُکَ سُؤَالَ مُعْتَرِفٍ بِذَنْبِهٖ نَادِمٍ عَلٰي اِقْتِرَافِ تَبِعَتِهٖ وَ اَنْتَ اَوْلٰي مَنِ اعْتُمِدَ وَ عَفِيَ وَ جَادَ بِالْمَغْفِرَۃِ مَنْ ظَلَمَ وَ اَسَآءَ فَقَدْ اَوْ بَقَتْنِيْ الذُّنُوْبُ فِيْ مَهَادِيْ الْهَلَکَۃِ وَ اَحَاطَتْ بِهِ الْاٰثَامُ وَ بَقَيْتُ غَيْرَ مُسْتَقِلٍّ بِهَا

O Allah! I ask You like the one who has confessed his sins and like the one who has followed the evil desires and is now ashamed of it, and You are the one who can be depended upon for forgiveness, and the best for the sinners and evil doers because the sins have pushed in the dark valley of destruction, and is surrounded by errors and mistakes now the position is such that I cannot consider the sins as insignificant.

وَ اَنْتَ الْمُرْتَجٰي وَ عَلَيْکَ مُعَوَّلُ فِي الشِّدَۃِ وَ الرَّخَآءِ وَ اَنْتَ مَلْجَأَ الْخَآئِفِ الْغَرِيْقِ وَ اَرْئَفُ مِنْ کُلِّ شَفِيْقٍ وَ اِلَيْکَ قَصَدْتُ

Now You are the only place of hope and in hardships and ease You are the one on whom I rely. You are the refuge for the fearful who are drowning, and the Merciful of all other merciful.

سَيِّدِيْ وَ اَنْتَ مُنْتَهَي الْقَصْدِ لِلْقَاصِدِيْنَ وَ اَرْحَمُ مَنِ اسْتُرْحِمَ فِيْ تَجَاوُزِکَ عَنِ الْمُذْنِبِيْنَ

O my Lord! I am presenting myself to You attentively, because You are the climax for those who seek and the most Merciful to accept the prayers of the sinners.

اَللّٰهُمَّ اَنْتَ الَّذِيْ لاَ يَتَعَاظَمُکَ غُفْرَانُ الذُّنُوْبِ وَ کَشْفُ الْکُرُوْبِ وَ اَنْتَ عَلاَّمُ الْغُيُوْبِ وَ سَتَّارُ الْعُيُوْبِ وَ کَشَّافُ الْکُرُوْبِ لِاَنَّکَ الْبَاقِيْ الرَّحِيْمُ

O Allah! It is not difficult for You to forgive the sins and cure the sorrow, although You are well aware of the hidden things, You are the concealer of defects, and the one to ward off the difficulties, because You are powerful, Everlasting and Merciful

الَّذِيْ تَسَرْبَلْتَ بِالرُّبُوْبِيَّۃِ

and Who has worn the dress of Godhood and has accepted the divinity of oneness.

وَ تَوَحَّدْتَ بِالْاِلٰهِيَّۃِ وَ تَنَزَّهْتَ بِالْحَيْثُوْثِيَّۃِ فَلَمْ يَجِدْکَ وَاصِفٌ مَحْدُوْدَا بِالْکَيْفُوْفِيَّۃِ وَلاَ تَقَعْ فِيْ الْاَوْهَامِ بِالْمَآئِيَّۃِ وَالْحَيْنُوْنِيَّۃِ فَلَکَ الْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ نَعْمَآئِکَ عَلَي الْاَنَامِ وَ لَکَ الشُّکْرُ عَلٰي کُرُوْرِ اللَّيَالِيْ وَالْاَيَّام

Now You are the pure from the status of nature, so nobody can explain You by Your attributes and the imagination of a man cannot comprehend You and the praise of people equal to the number of Your Bounties and Your thankfulness equal to the number of rotation of day and night.

اِلٰهِيْ بِيَدِکَ وَالْخَيْرُ وَ اَنْتَ وَلِيُّهٗ مُنِيْحُ الرَّغَآئِبِ وَ غَايَۃُ الْمَطَالَبِ اَتَقَرَّبُ اِلَيْکَ بِسَعَۃِ رَحْمَتِکَ الَّتِيْ وَ سِعَتْ کُلَّ شَيْءٍ فَقَدْ تَرٰي

O Allah all the goodness are in Your Power, and You are their Lord, the bestower of the cherished bounties. You are the climax of aims, for the sake of Your vast Mercy I seek nearness to You in which there is a place for everything.

يَا رَبِّ مَکَانِيْ وَ تَطَّلِعُ عَلٰي ضَمِيْرِيْ وَ تَعْلَمُ سِرِّيْ وَلاَ يَخْفٰي عَلَيْکَ اَمْرِيْ وَ اَنْتَ اَقْرَبُ اِلَيَّ مِنْ حَبْلِ الْوَرِيْدِ فَتُبْ عَلَيَّ لاَ اَعُوْذُ بَعْدَهَا فِيْمَا يُسْخِطُکَ وَاغْفِرِلِيْ مَغْفِرَۃً لاَ اَرْجِعُ مَعَهَا اِلٰي مَعْصِيَتِکَ يَا اَکْرَمَ الْاَکْرَمِيْنَ

O Allah! You are witnessing my status, aware of my heart, my affairs are not concealed from You, and You are more nearer to me than my jugular vein, so please accept my repentance by which I cannot repeat those actions again which displeases You, and grant me such a pardon after which I don't indulge in sins O the most Honourable of all the Honourables.

اِلٰهِيْ اَنْتَ الَّذِيْ اَصْلَحْتَ قُلُوْبَ الْمُفْسِدِيْنَ فَصَلَحَتْ بِاِصْلاَحِکَ اِيَّاهَا فَاَصْلِحِنِيْ بِاِصْلاَحِکَ وَ اَنْتَ الَّذِيْ مَنَنْتَ عَلَي الضَّآلِّيْنَ فَهَدَيْتَهُمْ بِرُشْدِکَ عَنِ الضَّلاَلَۃِ وَ عَلَي الْجَاحِدِيْنَ عَنْ قَصْدِکَ فَسَدَدْتَهُمْ وَ قَوَّمْتَ مِنْهُمْ عَثْرَالزَّلَلِ فَمَنَحْتَهُمْ مُحَبَّتَکَ وَ جَنَّبْتَهُمْ مَعْصِيَتَکَ وَ اَدْرَجْتَهُمْ دَرَجَ الْمَغْفُوْرِ لَهُمْ وَ اَحْلَلْتَهُمْ مَحَلَّ الْفَآئِزِيْنَ فَاَسْئَلُکَيَا مَوْلاَيَ اَنْ تُلْحِقَنِيْ بِهِمْ يَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ

O my Lord, You have reformed the corrupted hearts and they have changed and You are the one to oblige the deviated ones and guide them by Your Guidance, and reinstate those deviated from the right path and change their wrong deeds and laxity, granted them Your love, saved them from Your disobedience, bestowed on them the status of good doers, put them among the successful people,O Lord, O the most merciful of all the merciful, attach me together with those people.

اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُکَ اَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلٰي مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اَنْ تَرْزُقْنِيْ رِزْقًا وَاسِعًا حَلٰلاً طَيِّبًا فِيْ عَافِيَۃٍ وَ عَمَلاً يُقِرِّبُ اِلَيْکَ يَا خَيْرَ مَسْئُوْلٍ

O Allah I seek of You to send Blessings on Mohammad and the progeny of Mohammad and increase my sustenance the clean, pure and safe and grant me the initiative to do those actions which makes me nearer to You,

اَللّٰهُمَّ وَ اَتَضَرَّعُ اَلِيْکَ ضَرَاعَۃً مُقِرٍّ عَلٰي نَفْسِهٖ بِالْهَفَوَاتِ

O Allah I present my helplessness as the one who is helpless and has accepted his deviation.

اَتُوْبُ اِلَيْکَ يَا تَوَّابُ فَلاَ تَرُدُّنِيْ خَآئِبًا جَزِيْلِ عَطَآئِکَ يَا وَهَّابُ فَقَدِيْمًا جَدْتَ عَلٰي الْمُذْنِبِيْنَ بِالْمَغْفِرَۃِ وَ سَتَرْتَ عَلٰي عَبِيْدِکَ قَبِيْحَاتِ الْفِعَالِ۔

O the one who forgives, I repent to You, O the bestower of abundance bounties, do not make me unsuccessful due to my low deeds,

يَا جَلِيْلُ يَا مُتَعَالُ۔ اَتَوَجَّهُ اِلَيْکَ بِمَنْ اَوْجَبْتَ حَقَّهُ عَلَيَّ اِذْلَمْ

O the most High and Majestic, You have always dealt with the sinners by forgiveness, please conceal the evil deeds of this despised soul.

يَکُنْ لِيْ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ مَا اَتَوَجَّهُ بِهٖ اِلَيْکَ

O Lord, I have directed my attention towards You, by the right which You have made obligatory on me, because I don't have any good deed with which I can present myself,

وَ حَالَتِ الذُّنُوْبُ بَيْنِيْ وَ بَيْنَ الْمُحْسِنِيْنَ وَ اِذْ لَمْ يُوْجِبَ لِيْ عَمَلِيْ مُرَافَقَۃَ النَّبِيّٖنَ فَلاَ تُرَدَّ

the evils deeds are a barrier between me and the pious people, and as my deeds are not such that can make me the companions of Your Prophets so by the names which I have beseeched You, You make me turn towards them,

سَيِّدِيْ تَوَجُّهِيْ بِمَنْ تَوَجَّهْتُ اَتَخْذُلُنِيْ رِبِّيْ وَ اَنْتَ اَمَلِيْ؟اَمْ تُرَدُ يَدِيْ صِفْرًا مِنَ الْعَفْوِ وَ اَنْتَ مُنْتَهٰي رَغْبَتِيْ!

O my Lord, will You turn me unsuccessful whereas You are my hope and will You return me back empty handed? In fact You are my initial hope.

يَا مَنْ هُوَ مَوْجُوْدٌ مَوْصُوْفٌ مَعْرُوْفٌ بِالْجُوْدِ وَالْخَلْقُ لَهٗ عَبِيْدٌ وَاِلَيْهِ مَرَدُّ  الْاُمُوْرِ

O He Who is present and famous for Generosity, the affairs of entire creation will ultimately return in Your presence.

فَصَلِّ عَلٰي مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ جُدْ عَلَيَّ بِاِحْسَانِکَ الَّذِيْ فِيْهِ الْغِنٰي عَنِ الْقَرِيْبِ وَالْبَعِيْدِ وَالْاَعْدَآءِ وَالْاِخْوَانِ وَالْاَخَوَاتِ وَالْحِقْنِيْ بِالَّذِيْنَ غَمَّرْتَهُمْ

Send blessings on Mohammad and his progeny and oblige me by making me self sufficient from those who are near, far, rivals, brothers, sisters, and include me among those whom Your mercy covers.

بِسَعَۃِ تَطَوُّلِکَ وَ کَرَامَتِکَ لَهُمْ وَ تَطَوُّلِکَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَ جَعَلْتَهُمْ اَطَآئِبَ اَبْرَارًا

Your signs are reserved for them, and Your favours are exclusively for them, You have created them pure, doers of good, pious and great.

اَتْقِيَآئً اَخْيَارًا وَ لِنَبِيِّکَ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّي اﷲ عَلَيْهِ وَ اٰلِهٖ وَ سَلَّمَ فِيْ دَارِکَ جِيْرَانًا وَاغْفِرِلِيْ وَ لِلْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَ الْمُؤْمِنٰتِ مَعَ الْاٰبَآءِ وَالْاُمَّهَاتِ وَالْاِخْوَانِ وَ الْاَخَوَاتِ يَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ۔

Make me reach Your prophet Mohammad Mustafa peace be on him and his progeny because he is on a station which is very nearer to You and O the Beneficent and the Merciful forgive me and the believers and their parents and their brothers and sisters.

أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ ٱللَّهُ

ash-hadu an la ilaha illa allahu

I bear witness that there is no god save Allah;

وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ

wahdahu la sharika lahu

alone without having any partner;

وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ رَسُولُهُ

wa ash-hadu annaka rasuluhu

and I bear witness that you are His messenger

وَأَنَّكَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِٱللَّهِ

wa annaka muhammadu bnu ʿabdillahi

and you are Muhammad, the son of `Abdullah.

وَأَشْهَدُ أَنّكَ قَدْ بَلَّغْتَ رِسَالاتِ رَبِّكَ

wa ash-hadu annaka qad ballaghta risalati rabbika

And I bear witness that you have truly conveyed the missions of your Lord,

وَنَصَحْتَ لأُمَّتِكَ

wa nasahta li'ummatika

well-wished for your nation,

وَجَاهَدْتَ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ

wa jahadta fi sabili allahi

striven hard in the way of Allah

بِٱلْحِكْمَةِ وَٱلْمَوْعِظَةِ ٱلحَسَنَةِ

bilhikmati walmawʿizati alhasanati

by means of wisdom and excellent preaching,

وَأَدَّيْتَ ٱلَّذِي عَلَيْكَ مِنَ ٱلحَقِّ

wa addayta alladhi ʿalayka mina alhaqqi

and fulfilled the duty that is incumbent upon you;

وَأَنَّكَ قَدْ رَؤُفْتَ بِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

wa annaka qad ra'ufta bilmu'minina

and you have been sympathetic with the believers

وَغَلَظْتَ عَلَىٰ ٱلكَافِرِينَ

wa ghalazta ʿala alkafirina

and unyielding to the unbelievers;

وَعَبَدْتَ ٱللَّهَ مُخْلِصاً

wa ʿabadta allaha mukhlisan

and you have worshipped Allah sincerely

حَتَّىٰ أَتَاكَ ٱليَقِينُ

hatta ataka alyaqinu

until death came upon you.

فَبَلَغَ ٱللَّهُ بِكَ أَشْرَفَ مَحَلِّ ٱلْمُكَرَّمِينَ

fabalagha allahu bika ashrafa mahalli almukarramina

Allah therefore has lifted you up to the most honorable place of the honored ones.

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي ٱسْتَنْقَذَنَا بِكَ

alhamdu lillahi alladhi istanqadhana bika

All praise be to Allah Who has saved us, through you,

مِنَ ٱلشِّرْكِ وَٱلضَّلالِ

mina alshshirki walddalali

from polytheism and deviation.

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ

allahumma salli ʿala muhammadin wa alihi

O Allah, (please) send blessings to Muhammad and his Household,

وَٱجْعَلْ صَلَوَاتِكَ وَصَلَوَاتِ مَلاَئِكَتِكَ

wajʿal salawatika wa salawati mala'ikatika

and make Your blessings, the blessings of Your angels,

وَأَنْبِيَائِكَ وَٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ

wa anbiya'ika walmursalina

Your prophets, the Messengers,

وَعِبَادِكَ ٱلصَّالِحِينَ

wa ʿibadika alssalihina

Your righteous servants,

وَأَهْلِ ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ وَٱلأَرَضِينَ

wa ahli alssamawati wal-aradina

the inhabitants of the heavens and the [layers of the] earth,

وَمَنْ سَبَّحَ لَكَ يَا رَبَّ ٱلعَالَمِينَ

wa man sabbaha laka ya rabba alʿalamina

and ever one who glorifies You, O Lord of the worlds,

مِنَ ٱلأَوَّلِينَ وَٱلآخِرِينَ

mina al-awwalina wal-akhirina

from the past and the late generations,

عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدِكَ وَرَسُولِكَ

ʿala muhammadin ʿabdika wa rasulika

be on Muhammad, Your servant, messenger,

وَنَبِيِّكَ وَأَمِينِكَ

wa nabiyyika wa aminika

prophet, trustee,

وَنَجِيبِكَ وَحَبِيبِكَ

wa najibika wa habibika

elite, most-beloved,

وَصَفِيِّكَ وَصِفْوَتِكَ

wa safiyyika wa sifwatika

elect, choice,

وَخَاصَّتِكَ وَخَالِصَتِكَ

wa khassatika wa khalisatika

dignitary, select,

وَخِيَرَتِكَ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ

wa khiyaratika min khalqika

and the best of Your creatures.

وَأَعْطِهِ ٱلفَضْلَ وَٱلفَضِيلَةَ

wa aʿtihi alfadla walfadilata

And grant him preference, virtue,

وَٱلوَسِيلَةَ وَٱلدَّرَجَةَ ٱلرَّفِيعَةَ

walwasilata walddarajata alrrafiʿata

[right of] mediation, and sublime rank;

وَٱبْعَثْهُ مَقَاماً مَحْمُوداً

wabʿath-hu maqaman mahmudan

and send him a praiseworthy status

يَغْبِطُهُ بِهِ ٱلأَوَّلُونَ وَٱلآخِرُونَ

yaghbituhu bihi al-awwaluna wal-akhiruna

which all the past and the late generations wish to have.

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ قُلْتَ:

allahumma innaka qulta

O Allah, You have said:

﴿وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ إِذْ ظَلَمُوٱ أَنفُسَهُمْ

wa law annahum idh zalamu anfusahum

"And had they, when they were unjust to themselves,

جَاءُوكَ فَٱسْتَغْفَرُوا ٱللَّهَ

ja'uka fastaghfaru allaha

come to you and asked forgiveness of Allah,

وَٱسْتَغْفَرَ لَهُمُ ٱلرَّسُولُ

wastaghfara lahumu alrrasulu

and the Messenger had also asked forgiveness for them,

لَوَجَدُوٱ ٱللَّهَ تَوَّاباً رَحِيماً﴾

lawajadu allaha tawwaban rahiman

they would have found Allah Oft-returning to mercy, Merciful."

إِلٰهِي فَقَدْ أَتَيْتُ نَبِيَّكَ مُسْتَغْفِراً

ilahi faqad ataytu nabiyyaka mustaghfiran

O my God, I have come to Your Prophet, seeking forgiveness of You

تَائِباً مِنْ ذُنُوبِي

ta'iban min dhunubi

and repenting before You from my sins;

فَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ

fasalli ʿala muhammadin wa alihi

so, (please) send blessings to Muhammad and his Household

وَٱغْفِرْهَا لِي

waghfirha li

and forgive them for me.

يَا سَيِّدَنَا

ya sayyidana

O our master,

أَتَوَجَّهُ بِكَ وَبِأَهْلِ بَيْتِكَ

atawajjahu bika wa bi-ahli baytika

I turn by you and by your Household

إِلَىٰ ٱللَّهِ تَعَالَىٰ رَبِّكَ وَرَبِّي

ila allahi taʿala rabbika wa rabbi

towards Allah, the Exalted, your and my Lord,

لِيَغْفِرَ لِي

liyaghfira li

so that He may forgive me.

Then repeat the following three times:

إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajiʿuna

Verily, we are Allah's and verily unto Him shall we return.

Then say the following:

أُصِبْنَا بِكَ يَا حَبِيبَ قُلُوبِنَا

usibna bika ya habiba qulubina

We are stricken by losing you, O beloved of our hearts!

فَمَا أَعْظَمَ ٱلْمُصيبَةَ بِكَ

fama aʿzama almusibata bika

Too shocking is our misfortune of losing you!

حيَْثُ ٱنْقَطَعَ عَنَّا ٱلْوَحْيُ

haythu inqataʿa ʿanna alwahyu

Because the Revelation has been interrupted

وَحَيْثُ فَقَدْنَاكَ

wa haythu faqadnaka

and because we have missed you.

فَإنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

fa inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajiʿuna

Nevertheless, we are Allah's and to Him shall we return.

يَا سَيِّدَنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللّهِ

ya sayyidana ya rasula allahi

O our master, O Allah's Messenger!

صَلَوَاتُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ بَيْتِكَ ٱلطَّاهِرِينَ

salawatu allahi ʿalayka wa ʿala ali baytika alttahirina

May Allah's blessings be upon you and upon your Household, the immaculate.

هٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلسَّبْتِ وَهُوَ يَوْمُكَ

hadha yawmu alssabti wa huwa yawmuka

This day is Saturday, which is your day,

وَأَنَا فِيهِ ضَيْفُكَ وَجَارُكَ

wa ana fihi dayfuka wa jaruka

and on this day I am your guest and in your vicinity;

فَأَضِفْنِي وَأَجِرْنِي

fa-adifni wa ajirni

so, receive me as your guest and as your neighbor.

فَإنَّكَ كَرِيمٌ تُحِبُّ ٱلضِّيَافَةَ

fa innaka karimun tuhibbu alddiyafata

Indeed, you are generous and hospitable

وَمَاْمُورٌ بِٱلإِجَارَةِ

wa ma'murun bil-ijarati

and you are commanded [by Allah] to host your neighbors.

فَأَضِفْنِي وَأَحْسِنْ ضِيَافَتِي

fa-adifni wa ahsin diyafati

So, receive me as your guest and treat me hospitably;

وَأَجِرْنَا وَأَحْسِنْ إِجَارَتَنَا

wa ajirna wa ahsin ijaratana

and accept us as your neighbors and treat us in due hospitability;

بِمَنْزِلَةِ ٱللَّهِ عِنْدَكَ وَعِنْدَ آلِ بَيْتِكَ

bimanzilati allahi ʿindaka wa ʿinda ali baytika

[I ask you] in the name of Allah's standing with you and with your Household

وَبِمَنْزِلَتِهِمْ عِنْدَهُ

wa bimanzilatihim ʿindahu

and in the name of their standing with Him

وَبِمَا ٱسْتَوْدَعَكُمْ مِنْ عِلْمِهِ

wa bima istawdaʿakum min ʿilmihi

and in the name of the knowledge that He has entrusted with you all.

فَإنَّهُ أَكْرَمُ ٱلأَكْرَمِينَ

fa'innahu akramu al-akramina

Verily, He is the most generous of all those who show generosity.

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

سُبْحَانَ الْإِلَهِ الْحَقِّ

Glory be to the God of truth.

سُبْحَانَ الْقَابِضِ الْبَاسِطِ

Glory be to The Constrictor and the Outspreader.

سُبْحَانَ الضَّارِّ النَّافِعِ

Glory be to Him Who can expose anyone to loss or gain.

سُبْحَانَ الْقَاضِي بِالْحَقِّ

Glory be to the Judge with the truth.

سُبْحَانَهُ وَ بِحَمْدِهِ

Glory be to Him and to glorify Him is one of His graces.

سُبْحَانَ الْعَلِيِّ الْأَعْلَى

Glory be to the Highest, the All-high.

سُبْحَانَ مَنْ عَلَا فِي الْهَوَاءِ

Glory be to who has exalted in the air;

سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى

Glory be to Him, and most Exalted He be.

سُبْحَانَ الْحَسَنِ الْجَمِيلِ

Glory be to The magnificent and beautiful.

سُبْحَانَ الرَّءُوفِ الرَّحِيمِ

Glory be to The All-Merciful and The Ever-Compassionate.

سُبْحَانَ الْخَالِقِ الْبَارِئِ

Glory be to The Creator and the Maker.

سُبْحَانَ الْغَنِيِّ الْحَمِيدِ

Glory be to The all Sufficient and the Praised.

سُبْحَانَ الرَّفِيعِ الْأَعْلَى

Glory be to The highest and elevated.

سُبْحَانَ الْعَظِيمِ الْأَعْظَمِ

Glory be to The Great and The Greatest.

سُبْحَانَ مَنْ هُوَ هَكَذَا وَ لَا يَكُونُ هَكَذَا غَيْرُهُ

Glory be to Him Who is in this state, and nothing else can be ever in his state.

سُبُّوحٌ قُدُّوسُ لِرَبِّي الْحَيِّ الْحَلِيمِ

Glorified (is He), Holy (is He), for Him the Living and the Forbearing.

سُبْحَانَ اللهِ الْعَظِيمِ وَ بِحَمْدِهِ

Glory be to Allah, the Supreme!

سُبْحَانَ مَنْ هُوَ دَائِمٌ لَا يَسْهُو

Praise be to He! Glory be to him Who is alert and steady; never forgets one thing over another.

سُبْحَانَ مَنْ هُوَ قَائِمٌ لَا يَلْهُو

Glory be to him Who is vigilant; never is engrossed with a thing to overlook another.

سُبْحَانَ مَنْ هُوَ غَنِيٌّ لَا يَفْتَقِرُ

Glory be to Him, Who is Independent that doesn't need.

سُبْحَانَ مَنْ تَوَاضَعَ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ لِعَظَمَتِهِ

Glory be to He who before his greatness everything bows.

سُبْحَانَ مَنْ ذَلَّ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ لِعِزَّتِهِ

Glory be to He who before his might everything overshadows.

سُبْحَانَ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ (اسْتَسْلَمَ) كُلُّ شَيْءٍ لِقُدْرَتِهِ

Glory be to him who everything surrenders for his power.

سُبْحَانَ مَنْ خَضَعَ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ لِمُلْكِهِ

Glory be to him who everything obeyed to his kingdom.

سُبْحَانَ مَنِ انْقَادَتْ لَهُ الْأُمُورُ بِأَزِمَّتِهَا

Glory be to him who all things follow His charge.

سْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate,

أُعِيذُ نَفْسِي بِاللهِ الَّذِي لا إِلهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ

I seek protection for myself in Allah, whom There is no god except Him, the living, the Everlasting.

لاَ تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلاَ نَوْمٌ

Neither slumber overtakes Him nor sleep.

لَّهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ

To Him belongs everything in the heavens and everything on earth.

مَن ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِنْدَهُ إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِهِ

Who is he that can intercede with Him except with His permission?

يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ

He knows what is before them and what is behind them,

وَلاَ يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلاَّ بِمَا شَاء

and they cannot grasp any of His knowledge except as He wills.

وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ

His Throne extends over the heavens and the earth,

وَلاَ يَؤُودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ

and their preservation does not burden Him. He is the Highest, the Great.

كَذَلِكَ اللهُ رَبُّنَا وَ سَيِّدُنَا وَ مَوْلَانَا

Allah, the One, the Refuge, has not begotten and has not been begotten,

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ نُورُ النُّورِ وَ مُدَبِّرُ الْأُمُورِ

and equal to Him is not anyone, Light of the Light and the Regulator of affairs,

نُورُ السَّماواتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ

the Light of the heavens and the earth.

مَثَلُ نُورِهِ كَمِشْكاةٍ فِيها مِصْباحٌ الْمِصْباحُ

The likeness of His Light is as a niche wherein is a lamp,

فِي زُجاجَةٍ الزُّجاجَةُ كَأَنَّها كَوْكَبٌ دُرِّيٌّ

the lamp in a glass, the glass as it were a glittering star

يُوقَدُ مِنْ شَجَرَةٍ مُبارَكَةٍ زَيْتُونَةٍ

kindled from a Blessed Tree, an olive

لا شَرْقِيَّةٍ وَ لا غَرْبِيَّةٍ

that is neither of the East nor of the West,

يَكادُ زَيْتُها يُضِيءُ وَ لَوْ لَمْ تَمْسَسْهُ نارٌ

whose oil well nigh would shine, even if no fire touched it.

نُورٌ عَلى نُورٍ يَهْدِي اللهُ لِنُورِهِ مَنْ يَشاءُ

Light upon Light God guides to His Light whom He will.

وَ يَضْرِبُ اللهُ الْأَمْثالَ لِلنَّاسِ

And God strikes similitudes for men,

وَ اللهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ

and God has knowledge of everything.

الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّماواتِ وَ الْأَرْضَ

He created the heavens and the earth

بِالْحَقِّ وَ يَوْمَ يَقُولُ كُنْ فَيَكُونُ

by truth and the day, He says, Be, and it is

قَوْلُهُ الْحَقُّ وَ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ يَوْمَ يُنْفَخُ فِي الصُّورِ

His saying is the truth, and to Him belongs the kingdom on the day when the trumpet are blown

عالِمُ الْغَيْبِ وَ الشَّهادَةِ وَ هُوَ الْحَكِيمُ الْخَبِيرُ

He is the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, and He is the All-wise, the All-Aware.

الَّذِي خَلَقَ سَبْعَ سَماواتٍ طِباقاً وَ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ

He created seven heavens, and they are like the earth.

مِثْلَهُنَّ يَتَنَزَّلُ الْأَمْرُ بَيْنَهُنَّ

Therefore, the Command descends through them so;

لِتَعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللهَ عَلى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

that you may know that God is capable of everything.

وَ أَنَّ اللهَ قَدْ أَحاطَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عِلْماً

And that God Encompasses everything in knowledge

وَ أَحْصى كُلَّ شَيْءٍ عَدَداً

and has numbered everything in numbers.

(وَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ ذِي شَرِّ مُعْلِنٍ بِهِ أَوْ مُسِرٍّ (مُسْتَتِرٍ

(I seek protection) from; the evil of everything possessed of evil, whether openly or secretly,

وَ مِنْ شَرِّ الْجِنَّةِ وَ الْبَشَرِ

the evil of jinn and man,

وَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا يَظْهَرُ بِاللَّيْلِ وَ يَكْمُنُ بِالنَّهَارِ

and the evil of what flies at night and rests during the day,

وَ مِنْ شَرِّ طَوَارِقِ اللَّيْلِ وَ النَّهَارِ

and from the evils of the night and day

وَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا يَنْزِلُ الْحَمَّامَاتِ وَ الْحُشُوشَ

and from the evils of that which descends into the bathrooms and the lawn

وَ الْخَرَابَاتِ وَ الْأَوْدِيَةَ وَ الصَّحَارِيَ

and the evil which lives in; ruins, valleys, desserts,

وَ الغِيَاضَ وَ الشَّجَرَ وَ يَكُونُ فِي الْأَنْهَارِ

jungles and trees, and from that which is in rivers.

وَ أُعِيذُ نَفْسِي وَ مَنْ يَعْنِينِي أَمْرُهُ بِالله

I seek the protection of Allah,

ِ مالِكَ الْمُلْكِ تُؤْتِي الْمُلْكَ مَنْ تَشاءُ

Master of the Kingdom, You give the Kingdom to whom Your wilt

وَ تَنْزِعُ الْمُلْكَ مِمَّنْ تَشاءُ

and seizest the Kingdom from whom You wilt.

وَ تُعِزُّ مَنْ تَشاءُ وَ تُذِلُّ مَنْ تَشاءُ

You honor whomever you will and humiliate whomever you will

بِيَدِكَ الْخَيْرُ إِنَّكَ عَلى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

In Your hand is the good. You are influential over everything.

تُولِجُ اللَّيْلَ فِي النَّهارِ وَ تُولِجُ النَّهارَ فِي اللَّيْلِ

You make the night to enter into the day, and You make the day to enter into the night.

وَ تُخْرِجُ الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ وَ تُخْرِجُ الْمَيِّتَ مِنَ الْحَيِّ

You bring forth the living from the dead and the dead from the living

وَ تَرْزُقُ مَنْ تَشاءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسابٍ

and provide whomsoever wilt without reckoning.

لَهُ مَقالِيدُ السَّماواتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ

To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth.

يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ لِمَنْ يَشاءُ

He stretches out His provision to whom He will.

وَ يَقْدِرُ إِنَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ

Indeed He has knowledge of everything.

خَلَقَ الْأَرْضَ وَ السَّماواتِ الْعُلى

(I seek protection) from the One Who created the earth and the high heavens.

الرَّحْمنُ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ اسْتَوى

The All-compassionate seated himself upon the Throne.

لَهُ ما فِي السَّماواتِ وَ ما فِي الْأَرْضِ

To Him belongs all that is in the heavens, earth,

وَ ما بَيْنَهُما وَ ما تَحْتَ الثَّرى

all that is between them, and all that is underneath the soil.

وَ إِنْ تَجْهَرْ بِالْقَوْلِ فَإِنَّهُ يَعْلَمُ السِّرَّ وَ أَخْفى اللهُ

You be loud in Your speech, yet surely He knows the secret and that still more hidden.

لا إِلهَ إِلَّا هُوَ لَهُ الْأَسْماءُ الْحُسْنى لَهُ الْخَلْقُ وَ الْأَمْرُ

Allah-there is no god save He. To Him belong the Most New Beautiful Names, creation, and the Command.

مُنْزِلُ التَّوْرَاةِ وَ الْإِنْجِيلِ وَ الزَّبُورِ وَ الْفُرْقَانِ الْعَظِيمُ

The revealer of the Torah, the Gospels (al-Injil), the Zabur, and the Mighty Furqan,

مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ طَاغٍ وَ بَاغٍ وَ نَافِثٍ وَ شَيْطَانٍ

from the evil of every tyrant and oppressor, demon,

وَ سُلْطَانٍ وَ سَاحِرٍ وَ كَاهِنٍ وَ نَاظِرٍ وَ طَارِقٍ

ruler, enchanter, soothsayer, watcher, nocturnal visitor,

وَ مُتَحَرِّكٍ وَ سَاكِنٍ وَ مُتَكَلِّمٍ وَ سَاكِتٍ

everything moving or still, and speaking and silent,

وَ نَاطِقٍ وَ صَامِتٍ وَ مُتَخَيِّلٍ وَ مُتَمَثِّلٍ

and speaking, and silent, and imaginary and assimilated

وَ مُتَلَوِّنٍ) وَ مُحْتَقِرٍ (وَ مُتَجَبِّرٍ) وَ نَسْتَجِيرُ )

apparent, changeable, or varying.

بِاللهِ حِرْزِنَا وَ نَاصِرِنَا وَ مُونِسِنَا وَ هُوَ يَدْفَعُ عَنَّا

Glory be to Allah, your Protector and Helper, and Solace. He will defend you.

لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَ لَا مُعِزَّ لِمَنْ أَذَلَّ

He has no partner. There is no one to elevate the one.

وَ لَا مُذِلَّ لِمَنْ أَعَزَّ وَ هُوَ الْواحِدُ الْقَهَّارُ

He abases nor anyone to abase the one He elevates. He is the One, the Subduer,

وَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ

and may Allah's peace be upon our master Muhammad

وَ آلِهِ الطَّاهِرِينَ المصدر

and his pure family.

SALAATSPrayer for Saturday 1Sayyid Ibne Tawoos has related from Hazrat Imam Hasan al-Askari (a.s.) that he quoted his forefathers that one who prays four rakats prayer on Saturday and in each rakat he recites Surah Hamd, Surah Tawheed and Ayatul Kursi, the Almighty writes for him the grade of the prophets, the martyrs and the righteous. بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ وَ لَكَ الْمُلْكُ

O, Allah, for You the praise and the kingdom.

وَ بِيَدِكَ الْخَيْرُ وَ أَنْتَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

In Your Hand is all good, and You have the power over all things.

سُبْحَانَكَ لَكَ التَّسْبِيحُ وَ التَّقْدِيسُ

Glory be to You, for You the praise

وَ التَّهْلِيلُ وَ التَّكْبِيرُ وَ التَّمْجِيدُ وَ التَّحْمِيدُ

and Tahlil, magnification, glorification, gratitude,

وَ الْكِبْرِيَاءُ وَ الْجَبَرُوتُ وَ الْمَلَكُوتُ وَ الْعَظَمَةُ

pride, force, dominion, greatness,

وَ الْعُلُوُّ وَ الْوَقَارُ وَ الْجَمَالُ وَ الْعِزَّةُ وَ الْجَلَالُ

highness, solemnity, beauty, mightiness, majesty,

وَ الْغَايَةُ وَ السُّلْطَانُ وَ الْمَنَعَةُ وَ الْعِزَّةُ وَ الْحَوْلُ

the aim, control, strength, Glory, solidity,

وَ الْقُوَّةُ وَ الدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةُ وَ الْخَلْقُ وَ الْأَمْرُ

power, the world, hereafter, the creation and the command

تَبَارَكْتَ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ

blessed and exalted be You, Lord of the worlds.

وَ تَعَالَيْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ وَ لَكَ الْبَهْجَةُ

Glory be to You, for You, the praise and; pleasantness,

وَ الْجَمَالُ وَ الْبَهَاءُ وَ النُّورُ وَ الْوَقَارُ

gorgeousness, elegance, illumination, solemnity,

وَ الْكَمَالُ وَ الْعِزَّةُ وَ الْجَلَالُ وَ الْفَضْلُ

perfection, mightiness, majesty, grace,

وَ الْإِحْسَانُ وَ الْكِبْرِيَاءُ وَ الْجَبَرُوتُ

goodwill, pride, mightiness,

وَ بَسَطْتَ الرَّحْمَةَ وَ الْعَافِيَةَ

and stretched mercy and wellness.

وَ وُلِّيتَ الْحَمْدَ (وَحْدَكَ) لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ

You fulfilled (only you) for the praise;

أَنْتَ اللهُ لَا شَيْءَ مِثْلُكَ

You alone, who has no associate, You are Allah, nothing is like You.

فَسُبْحَانَكَ مَا أَعْظَمَ شَأْنَكَ وَ أَعَزَّ سُلْطَانَكَ

Therefore Glory be to you, how mighty is Your station, how treasured is Your authority,

وَ أَشَدَّ جَبَرُوتَكَ

how great is Your force.

(وَ أَحْصَى عَدَدَكَ وَ سُبْحَانَكَ يُسَبِّحُ (سَبَّحَ

Therefore, Glory be to You,

الْخَلْقُ كُلُّهُمْ لَكَ وَ قَامَ الْخَلْقُ كُلُّهُمْ بِكَ

all the creation glorifies You, stood up by You,

وَ أَشْفَقَ الْخَلْقُ كُلُّهُمْ مِنْكَ وَ ضَرَعَ الْخَلْقُ

frightened by You, and supplicated by you.

كُلُّهُمْ إِلَيْكَ وَ سُبْحَانَكَ تَسْبِيحاً يَنْبَغِي لَكَ

Glory be to you, with a glorification indeed to You

وَ لِوَجْهِكَ وَ يَبْلُغُ مُنْتَهَى عِلْمِكَ

and Your Being; reaches your knowledge's end,

وَ لَا يَقْصُرُ دُونَ أَفْضَلِ رِضَاكَ

doesn't fail your splendid satisfaction

وَ لَا يَفْضُلُهُ شَيْءٌ مِنْ مَحَامِدِ خَلْقِكَ

and not preferred by your laudation creation.

سُبْحَانَكَ خَلَقْتَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ وَ إِلَيْكَ مَعَادُهُ

Glory be to you, You created everything that; for you will be returned,

وَ بَدَأْتَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ وَ إِلَيْكَ مُنْتَهَاهُ

started everything that; to you will end,

وَ أَنْشَأْتَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ وَ إِلَيْكَ مَصِيرُهُ

originated everything that; will be destined to you,

وَ أَنْتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ

and you are the most merciful of the merciful ones.

بِأَمْرِكَ ارْتَفَعَتِ السَّمَاءُ وَ وُضِعَتِ الْأَرَضُونَ

In your order, the heavens rose, the earth delivered,

وَ أُرْسِيَتِ الْجِبَالُ وَ سُجِّرَتِ الْبُحُورُ

firmed the mountains, made the seas overflow;

فَمَلَكُوتُكَ فَوْقَ كُلِّ مَلَكُوتٍ

therefore, your authority is above every kingdom.

تَبَارَكْتَ بِرَحْمَتِكَ وَ تَعَالَيْتَ بِرَأْفَتِكَ

Therefore, blessed you are by your mercy, exalted you are by your clemency,

وَ تَقَدَّسْتَ فِي مَجْلِسِ

glorified You are in your solemnity place.

وَقَارِكَ لَكَ التَّسْبِيحُ بِحِلْمِكَ

Praising are for Your clemency,

وَ لَكَ التَّمْجِيدُ بِفَضْلِكَ

glorification for your graces,

وَ لَكَ الْحَوْلُ بِقُوَّتِكَ وَ لَكَ الْكِبْرِيَاءُ

solidity for your strength, pride in your greatness.

بِعَظَمَتِكَ وَ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ وَ الْجَبَرُوتُ بِسُلْطَانِكَ

For your authority the praise and strength,

وَ لَكَ الْمَلَكُوتُ بِعِزَّتِكَ وَ لَكَ الْقُدْرَةُ بِمُلْكِكَ

Your might for your kingdom, the ability in your authority,

وَ لَكَ الرِّضَا بِأَمْرِكَ وَ لَكَ الطَّاعَةُ عَلَى خَلْقِكَ

the satisfaction by your command, and obedience upon your creation;

أَحْصَيْتَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ عَدَداً وَ أَحَطْتَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عِلْماً

counted everything in numbers, encompass all things with knowledge,

وَ وَسِعْتَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ رَحْمَةً وَ أَنْتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ

embracest everything in mercy, and are the most merciful of the merciful ones;

ظِيمُ الْجَبَرُوتِ عَزِيزُ السُّلْطَانِ

Mightiness is great; authority is well-beloved,

قَوِيُّ الْبَطْشِ مَلِكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ

punishment is severe; the king of the heavens and earth,

رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ ذُو الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ

the Lord of all the worlds; The Lord of the great Throne,

وَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ يُسَبِّحُونَ

and favorite angels praising

اللَّيْلَ وَ النَّهارَ لا يَفْتُرُونَ

night and day; without showing sluggishness.

فَسُبْحَانَ الَّذِي لَا يَمُوتُ أَبَدَ الْآبِدِ

Therefore, Glory be to Him who never dies,

وَ سُبْحَانَ رَبِّ الْعِزَّةِ أَبَدَ الْآبِدِ

Glory be to the ever Lord of Majesty,

وَ سُبْحَانَ الْقُدُّوسِ رَبِّ الْعِزَّةِ أَبَدَ الْآبِدِ

Glory be to the ever holy majesty,

وَ سُبْحَانَ رَبِّ الْمَلَائِكَةِ وَ الرُّوحِ

Lord, Glory be to the Lord of the Angles and heavenly spirits.

سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْأَعْلَى سُبْحَانَ رَبِّي وَ تَعَالَى

Glory be to my Lord, the Highest. Glory be to my Lord, the exalted.

سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي فِي السَّمَاءِ عَرْشُهُ

Glory be to Him, who is His throne in the heavens

(وَ فِي الْأَرْضِ قُدْرَتُهُ (رِضَاهُ

and his power (satisfaction) on earth.

وَ سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي فِي الْقُبُورِ قَضَاؤُهُ

Glory be to Allah Whose decree is in the graves.

وَ سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي فِي الْجَنَّةِ رِضَاهُ

Glory be to Allah, Whose pleasure is in paradise.

وَ سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي فِي الْبَحْرِ سَبِيلُهُ

Glory be to Allah, Who surfaced a path over the ocean!

وَ سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي فِي جَهَنَّمَ سُلْطَانُهُ

Glory be to Allah, Who has the mightiness in hell!

سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَبَقَتْ رَحْمَتُهُ غَضَبَهُ

Glory be to Allah Whose mercy overtakes His Wrath.

سُبْحَانَ مَنْ لَهُ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ

Glory be to Allah in Whose hand is the kingdom of all things.

سُبْحَانَ اللهِ بِالْعَشِيِّ وَ سُبْحَانَ اللهِ بِالْإِبْكَارِ

Glory be to Allah when ye enter evening, Glory be to Allah when ye enter the morning.

وَ سُبْحَانَهُ وَ بِحَمْدِهِ عَزَّ وَجْهُهُ وَ نَصَرَ عَبْدَهُ

Glory and Praise for His almightiness being; who granted His servant victory,

وَ عَلَا اسْمُهُ وَ تَبَارَكَ وَ تَقَدَّسَ فِي مَجْلِسِ وَقَارِهِ وَ كُرْسِيِّ عَرْشِهِ

exalted and blessed His name, hallowed You are in your solemnity place and throne chair.

يَرَى كُلَّ عَيْنٍ وَ لَا تَرَاهُ كُلُّ عَيْنٍ

Sees every eye; neither eye can see Him!

وَ يُدْرِكُ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ وَ لا تُدْرِكُهُ الْأَبْصارُ

He is Comprehending everything while visions cannot comprehend Him,

وَ هُوَ يُدْرِكُ الْأَبْصارَ وَ هُوَ اللَّطِيفُ الْخَبِيرُ

yet He comprehends all visions! He is the Knower of subtleties, the Aware.

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدِكَ وَ رَسُولِكَ وَ نَبِيِّكَ

O Allah, (please) bless Muhammad, Your servant, messenger, and prophet;

أَمْراً اخْتَصَصْتَنَا بِهِ دُونَ مَنْ عَبَدَ غَيْرَكَ وَ تَوَلَّى سِوَاكَ

a matter you distinguished us, excluding them who worships and embraces other than You.

وَ صَلِّ اللَّهُمَّ عَلَيْهِ بِمَا انْتَجَبْتَ لَهُ مِنْ

Therefore, Allah's blessings upon him with what you;

رِسَالَتِكَ وَ أَكْرَمْتَهُ بِهِ مِنْ نُبُوَّتِكَ

distinguished him from your message and dignified him from your prophecy.

وَ لَا تَحْرِمْنَا النَّظَرَ إِلَى وَجْهِهِ

Do not deprive us of; looking to his face,

وَ الْكَوْنَ مَعَهُ فِي دَارِكَ وَ مُسْتَقَرٍّ مِنْ جِوَارِكَ

being with him in Your home, residing at your safeguard.

اللَّهُمَّ كَمَا أَرْسَلْتَهُ فَبَلَّغَ وَ حَمَّلْتَهُ

O, Allah, as you sent him, he informed and charged him with he delivered;

فَأَدَّى حَتَّى أَظْهَرَ سُلْطَانَكَ

until your authority has been shown

وَ آمَنَ بِكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ

and believed in you, no partner with you.

فَضَاعِفِ اللَّهُمَّ ثَوَابَهُ وَ كَرَمَهُ بِقُرْبِهِ

Therefore, O, Allah duplicates his reward and salutes him by your closeness,

مِنْكَ كَرَامَةً يُفَضَّلُ بِهَا عَلَى جَمِيعِ خَلْقِكَ

a preferred dignity above all Your creation,

وَ يَغْبِطُهُ بِهِ الْأَوَّلُونَ وَ الْآخَرُونَ مِنْ عِبَادِكَ

which the past and last generations of your worshippers will wish to have.

وَ اجْعَلْ مَثْوَانَا مَعَهُ فِيمَا لَا ظَعْنَ لَهُ مِنْهُ

Make our abode with him, where there is no leave from it,

يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ

O, Most Merciful of the merciful!

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

O Allah: send blessings upon Muhammad and His Household,

وَ أَسْأَلُكَ بِحَوْلِكَ وَ قُوَّتِكَ وَ طَوْلِكَ وَ مَنِّكَ

and I ask You by your; might, power, graciousness, generosity,

وَ عَظِيمِ مُلْكِكَ وَ جَلَالِ ذِكْرِكَ وَ كِبَرِ مَجْدِكَ

great kingdom, majestic reputation, splendid glorious,

وَ عِظَمِ سُلْطَانِكَ وَ لُطْفِ جَبَرُوتِكَ

great power, lenity mightiness,

وَ تَجَبُّرِ عَظَمَتِكَ وَ حِلْمِ عَفْوِكَ وَ تَحَنُّنِ رَحْمَتِكَ

displays Your overwhelming power greatness, clemency pardon, tender mercy,

وَ تَمَامِ كَلِمَاتِكَ وَ نَفَاذِ أَمْرِكَ

complete words, and execution of Your command;

وَ رُبُوبِيَّتِكَ الَّتِي دَانَ لَكَ بِهَا كُلُّ ذِي رُبُوبِيَّةٍ

Your Lordship, which each believer embraces,

وَ أَطَاعَكَ بِهَا كُلُّ ذِي طَاعَةٍ

obeyed by every obeyance,

وَ تَقَرُّبٍ بِهَا إِلَيْكَ كُلُّ ذِي رَغْبَةٍ فِي مَرْضَاتِكَ

each of desire your pleasure will seek its nearness

وَ يَلُوذُ بِهَا كُلُّ ذِي رَهْبَةٍ مِنْ سَخَطِكَ

and each of fear your displeasure will resort to it.

أَنْ تَرْزُقَنِي فَوَاتِحَ الْخَيْرِ وَ خَوَاتِمَهُ وَ ذَخَائِرَهُ

So do bless me with goodness beginning, finale, supply,

وَ جَوَائِزَهُ (وَ فَوَاضِلَهُ) وَ فَضَائِلَهُ وَ خَيْرَهُ وَ نَوَافِلَهُ

rewards, benefits, reasonable, and support.

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

O Allah: send blessings upon Muhammad and His Household,

وَ اهْدِ بِالْيَقِينِ مُعْلَنَنَا وَ أَصْلِحْ بِالْيَقِينِ

guide our declared one by certainty, reform our secrets thought by certainty,

سَرَائِرَنَا وَ اجْعَلْ قُلُوبَنَا مُطْمَئِنَّةً إِلَى ذِكْرِكَ

make our hearts entirely tranquil to your mention

وَ أَعْمَالَنَا خَالِصَةً لَكَ

and our deeds sincerely intended for You.

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

O Allah: send blessings upon Muhammad and His Household,

وَ أَسْأَلُكَ الرِّبْحَ مِنَ التِّجَارَةِ الَّتِي لَا تَبُورُ

I ask You for; commerce that comes not to naught,

وَ الْغَنِيمَةَ مِنَ الْأَعْمَالِ الْخَالِصَةِ الْفَاضِلَةِ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةِ

benefit in this worldly existence and hereafter from the immaculate gracefully deeds,

وَ الذِّكْرَ الْكَثِيرَ لَكَ وَ الْعَفَافَ وَ السَّلَامَةَ مِنَ الذُّنُوبِ وَ الْخَطَايَا

the heavy mention of You, chasteness and safety from the vices and sins.

اللَّهُمَّ ارْزُقْنَا أَعْمَالًا زَاكِيَةً مُتَقَبَّلَةً

O, Allah, bless me with blameless accepted works

تَرْضَى بِهَا عَنَّا وَ تُسَهِّلَ لَنَا سَكْرَةَ الْمَوْتِ

that make You pleased upon us with and ease the agony of death

وَ شِدَّةَ هَوْلِ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ

and the intense horror of the Resurrection Day.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْأَلُكَ خَاصَّةَ الْخَيْرِ

O, Allah, we ask You for the special goodness

وَ عَامَّتَهُ لِخَاصِّنَا وَ عَامِّنَا وَ الزِّيَادَةَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ

and the general for both of us, unique and regular, increasing your sustenance;

فِي كُلِّ يَوْمٍ وَ لَيْلَةٍ وَ النَّجَاةَ مِنْ عَذَابِكَ

every day and night and deliverance from Your torture

وَ الْفَوْزَ بِرَحْمَتِكَ

and winning your mercy.

اللَّهُمَّ حَبِّبْ إِلَيْنَا لِقَاءَكَ

O, Allah makes us love meeting You,

وَ ارْزُقْنَا النَّظَرَ إِلَى وَجْهِكَ

reward us witnessing your face,

وَ اجْعَلْ لَنَا فِي لِقَائِكَ نَضْرَةً وَ سُرُوراً

and make us meet You with ease and happiness.

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

O Allah: send blessings upon Muhammad and His Household,

وَ أَحْضِرْنَا ذِكْرَكَ عِنْدَ كُلِّ غَفْلَةٍ

gain us your mention in every distraction time,

وَ شُكْرَكَ عِنْدَ كُلِّ نِعْمَةٍ وَ الصَّبْرَ عِنْدَ كُلِّ بَلَاءٍ

thank you in every blessing, patience on every misfortune,

وَ ارْزُقْنَا قُلُوباً وَجِلَةً مِنْ خَشْيَتِكَ خَاشِعَةً

and bless us with quake hearts in your dread;

لِذِكْرِكَ مُنِيبَةً إِلَيْكَ

devoted to Your mention and repentant to You!

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

O Allah: send blessings upon Muhammad and His Household,

وَ اجْعَلْنَا مِمَّنْ يُوفِي بِعَهْدِكَ وَ يُؤْمِنُ بِوَعْدِكَ

make us among them who fulfill your promises, believe in your words,

وَ يَعْمَلُ بِطَاعَتِكَ وَ يَسْعَى فِي مَرْضَاتِكَ

work on Your obeying, aim at your excellent pleasure,

وَ يَرْغَبُ فِيمَا عِنْدَكَ وَ يَفِرُّ إِلَيْكَ مِنْكَ

wants what You have, escape from You to You,

وَ يَرْجُو أَيَّامَكَ (أَمَانَكَ) وَ يَخَافُ سُؤ َ حِسَابِكَ

anticipate your days, fear Your Day of Reckoning,

وَ يَخْشَاكَ حَقَّ خَشْيَتِكَ وَ اجْعَلْ ثَوَابَ أَعْمَالِنَا

fear You with dread, make our deeds reward

جَنَّتَّكَ بِرَحْمَتِكَ وَ تَجَاوَزْ عَنْ ذُنُوبِنَا بِرَأْفَتِكَ

Your heaven with Your mercy, overlook our sins with your mercifulness,

وَ أَعِذْنَا مِنْ ظُلْمَةِ خَطَايَانَا بِنُورِ وَجْهِكَ

we seek refuge in Allah from the darkness of our sins with Your illuminance face,

وَ تَغَمَّدْنَا بِفَضْلِكَ وَ أَلْبِسْنَا عَافِيَتَكَ

encompass us with your benefits, veil us with your wellness,

وَ هَنِّئْنَا كَرَامَتَكَ وَ أَتْمِمْ عَلَيْنَا نِعْمَتَكَ

felicitate us with Your miracles, complete for us Your favors,

(وَ أَوْزِعْنَا أَنْ نَشْكُرَ رَحْمَتَكَ (نِعْمَتَكَ

and give as due share on praising Your mercy.

آمِينَ إِلَهَ الْحَقِّ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ

May it be so Allah of Truth, Lord of the worlds.

وَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ خَاتَمِ النَّبِيِّينَ

Allah's blessings upon our Master Muhammad are the seal of the prophets

وَ آلِهِ الطَّاهِرِينَ

and his immaculate household.
