The following supplicatory prayer of the Ahl al-Bayt (i.e. the Holy Prophet’s Household) may be said to fend off agonies, horrifying matters, and sways of ruling authorities:
1يَا كَائِناً قَبْلَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ
O He Who existed before all things!

وَيَا مُكَوِّنَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ
O He Who composed all things!
- 3
وَيَا بَاقِياً بَعْدَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ
O He Who shall survive after all things!
- 4
صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ…
