Daily Ziarat/Ahd after fajr

1

اَللَّهُمَّ بَلِّغْ مَوْلاَيَ صَاحِبَ ٱلزَّمَانِ

O Allah, (please) convey to my master the Patron of the Age,

2

صَلَوَاتُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ

Allah’s blessings be upon him,

3

عَنْ جَمِيعِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَاتِ

on behalf of all the believing men and women

4

فِي مَشَارِقِ ٱلأَرْضِ وَمَغَارِبِهَا

in the east and west sides of the earth,

5

وَبَرِّهَا وَبَحْرِهَا

in its lands and oceans,

6

وَسَهْلِهَا وَجَبَلِهَا

in its plains and mountains,

7

حَيِّهِمْ وَمَيِّتِهِمْ

and both the alive and the dead,

8

وَعَنْ وَالِدِيَّ وَوُلْدِي وَعَنِّي

and on behalf of my parents, my descendants, and me,

9

مِنَ ٱلصَّلَوَاتِ وَٱلتَّحِيَّاتِ

(convey to him) such blessings and greetings

10

زِنَةَ عَرْشِ ٱللَّهِ

that are as heavy as the measure of the Throne of Allah,

11

وَمِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِهِ

as much as the ink of His words,

12

وَمُنْتَهَىٰ رِضَاهُ

as endless as His pleasure,

13

وَعَدَدَ مَا أَحْصَاهُ كِتَابُهُ

and as many as all that which has been calculated by His Books

14

وَأَحَاطَ بِهِ عِلْمُهُ

and comprehended by His knowledge.

15

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أُجَدِّدُ لَهُ

O Allah, I update to him

16

فِي هٰذَا ٱلْيَوْمِ

on this day

17

وَفِي كُلِّ يَوْمٍ

and on all days

18

عَهْداً وَعَقْداً وَبَيْعَةً فِي رَقَبَتِي

a pledge, a covenant, and an allegiance to which I commit up to my neck.

19

اَللَّهُمَّ كَمَا شَرَّفْتَنِي بِهٰذَا ٱلتَّشْرِيفِ

O Allah, just as You have endued me with this honor,

20

وَفَضَّلْتَنِي بِهٰذِهِ ٱلْفَضِيلَةِ

conferred upon me this virtue,

21

وَخَصَصْتَنِي بِهٰذِهِ ٱلنِّعْمَةِ

and granted me exclusively this bounty,

22

فَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ مَوْلاَيَ وَسَيِّدِي

so also (please) send blessings upon my master and chief,

23

صَاحِبِ ٱلزَّمَانِ

the patron of the age,

24

وَٱجْعَلْنِي مِنْ أَنْصَارِهِ

and make me of his supporters,

25

وَأَشْيَاعِهِ وَٱلذَّابِّينَ عَنْهُ

adherents, and defenders,

26

وَٱجْعَلْنِي مِنَ ٱلْمُسْتَشْهَدِينَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ

and make me of those who will be martyred in his presence,

27

طَائِعاً غَيْرَ مُكْرَهٍ

with full willingness and without compulsion,

28

فِي ٱلصَّفِّ ٱلَّذِي نَعَتَّ أَهْلَهُ فِي كِتَابِكَ

in the line whose people have been described in Your Book

29

فَقُلْتَ «صَفّاً كَأَنَّهُمْ بُنْيَانٌ مَرْصُوصٌ»

where You say, “… one line as if they were a firm and compact wall,”

30

عَلَىٰ طَاعَتِكَ

and with obedience to You

31

وَطَاعَةِ رَسُولِكَ وَآلِهِ

and obedience to Your Messenger and his Household,

32

عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلسَّلاَمُ

peace be upon them.

33

اَللَّهُمَّ هٰذِهِ بَيْعَةٌ لَهُ فِي عُنُقِي

O Allah, this is my allegiance to him that is involved in my neck

34

إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَامَةِ

up to the Resurrection Day.

35

اَللَّهُمَّ ٱدْفَعْ عَنْ وَلِيِّكَ

O Allah, (please do) defend Your vicegerent,

36

وَخَلِيفَتِكَ وَحُجَّتِكَ عَلَىٰ خَلْقِكَ

representative, decisive argument against Your creatures,

37

وَلِسَانِكَ ٱلْمُعَبِّرِ عَنْكَ

and mouthpiece who speaks on behalf of You

38

ٱلنَّاطِقِ بِحِكْمَتِكَ

and speaks with Your wisdom,

39

وَعَيْنِكَ ٱلنَّاظِرَةِ بِإِذْنِكَ

Your eye that sees with Your permission,

40

وَشَاهِدِكَ عَلَىٰ عِبَادِكَ

Your witness on Your servants,

41

ٱلْجَحْجَاحِ ٱلْمُجَاهِدِ

the magnanimous master, the striver (for the sake of Allah),

42

ٱلْعَائِذِ بِكَ ٱلْعَابِدِ عِنْدَكَ

the seeker of Your shelter, and the full worshipper in Your measures.

43

وَأَعِذْهُ مِنْ شَرِّ جَمِيعِ مَا خَلَقْتَ وَبَرَأْتَ

Keep him safe from the evils of all that which You created, originated,

44

وَأَنْشَأْتَ وَصَوَّرْتَ

established, and formed.

45

وَٱحْفَظْهُ مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِ

And protect him from the sides of his front, his back,

46

وَعَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ

his right, his left,

47

وَمِنْ فَوْقِهِ وَمِنْ تَحْتِهِ

above him, and beneath him,

48

بِحِفْظِكَ ٱلَّذِي لاَ يَضِيعُ مَنْ حَفِظْتَهُ بِهِ

with Your safety that preserves from any loss.

49

وَٱحْفَظْ فِيهِ رَسُولَكَ وَآبَاءَهُ

And safeguard through him Your Messenger and his fathers;

50

أَئِمَّتَكَ وَدَعَائِمَ دِينِكَ

the Imams appointed by You and the pillars of Your religion.

51

وَٱجْعَلْهُ فِي وَدِيعَتِكَ ٱلَّتِي لاَ تَضِيعُ

And place him in Your deposit that is never lost,

52

وَفِي جِوَارِكَ ٱلَّذِي لاَ يُخْفَرُ

in Your vicinity that is never violated,

53

وَفِي مَنْعِكَ وَعِزِّكَ ٱلَّذِي لاَ يُقْهَرُ

and in Your protection and almightiness that are never defeated.

54

وَآمِنْهُ بِأَمَانِكَ ٱلْوَثِيقِ

And secure him by Your well-firmed security

55

ٱلَّذِي لاَ يُخْذَلُ مَنْ آمَنْتَهُ بِهِ

that does not forsake whoever takes asylum in it.

56

وَٱجْعَلْهُ فِي كَنَفِكَ

And make him under Your protection

57

ٱلَّذِي لاَ يُرَامُ مَنْ كَانَ فِيهِ

that saves whoever is put under it from any harm.

58

وَٱنْصُرْهُ بِنَصْرِكَ ٱلْعَزِيزِ

Grant him Your insuperable victory,

59

وَأَيِّدْهُ بِجُنْدِكَ ٱلْغَالِبِ

aid him with Your overcoming troops,

60

وَقَوِّهِ بِقُوَّتِكَ

strengthen him with Your strength,

61

وَأَرْدِفْهُ بِمَلاَئِكَتِكَ

put Your angels at his disposal,

62

وَوَالِ مَنْ وَالاَهُ

support whoever supports him,

63

وَعَادِ مَنْ عَادَاهُ

be the enemy of whoever opposes him,

64

وَأَلْبِسْهُ دِرْعَكَ ٱلْحَصِينَةَ

dress him Your fortified armor,

65

وَحُفَّهُ بِٱلْمَلاَئِكَةِ حَفّاً

and make the angels surround him totally.

66

اَللَّهُمَّ ٱشْعَبْ بِهِ ٱلصَّدْعَ

O Allah, through him patch up the differences of opinion,

67

وَٱرْتُقْ بِهِ ٱلْفَتْقَ

bring into order confusion,

68

وَأَمِتْ بِهِ ٱلْجَوْرَ

eradicate oppression,

69

وَأَظْهِرْ بِهِ ٱلْعَدْلَ

manifest justice,

70

وَزَيِّنْ بِطُولِ بَقَائِهِ ٱلأَرْضَ

adorn the earth by a lengthy life for him,

71

وَأَيِّدْهُ بِٱلنَّصْرِ

support him with victory,

72

وَٱنْصُرْهُ بِٱلرُّعْبِ

grant him triumph by means of horror,

73

وَقَوِّ نَاصِرِيهِ

reinforce his supporters,

74

وَٱخْذُلْ خَاذِلِيهِ

thwart his disappointers,

75

وَدَمْدِمْ مَنْ نَصَبَ لَهُ

crush those who lay traps for him,

76

وَدَمِّرْ مَنْ غَشَّهُ

destroy those who cheat him,

77

وَٱقْتُلْ بِهِ جَبَابِرَةَ ٱلْكُفْرِ وَعُمُدَهُ وَدَعَائِمَهُ

kill the tyrants, pillars, and supports of infidelity at his hands,

78

وَٱقْصِمْ بِهِ رُؤُوسَ ٱلضَّلاَلَةِ وَشَارِعَةَ ٱلْبِدَعِ

uproot the heads of deviation, the innovators of heresies,

79

وَمُمِيتَةَ ٱلسُّنَّةِ وَمُقَوِّيَةَ ٱلْبَاطِلِ

the eradicators of the Prophetic traditions, and the backers of wrong,

80

وَذَلِّلْ بِهِ ٱلْجَبَّارِينَ

humiliate the haughty tyrants,

81

وَأَبِرْ بِهِ ٱلْكَافِرِينَ وَجَمِيعَ ٱلْمُلْحِدِينَ

terminate the infidels and all atheists

82

فِي مَشَارِقِ ٱلأَرْضِ وَمَغَارِبِهَا

wherever they are—in the east or the west of the earth

83

وَبَرِّهَا وَبَحْرِهَا

or in lands or oceans,

84

وَسَهْلِهَا وَجَبَلِهَا

or in plains or on mountains,

85

حَتَّىٰ لاَ تَدَعَ مِنْهُمْ دَيَّاراً

until You will not leave a single one of them

86

وَلاَ تُبْقِيَ لَهُمْ آثَاراً

and You will not leave a single trace of them.

87

اَللَّهُمَّ طَهِّرْ مِنْهُمْ بِلاَدَكَ

O Allah, clear up Your lands from them,

88

وَٱشْفِ مِنْهُمْ عِبَادَكَ

heal your servants’ hearts from them,

89

وَأَعِزَّ بِهِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

consolidate the faithful believers through him,

90

وَأَحْيِ بِهِ سُنَنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ

revive the norms of the Messengers

91

وَدَارِسَ حُكْمِ ٱلنَّبِيِّينَ

and the obliterated rules of the Prophets,

92

وَجَدِّدْ بِهِ مَا ٱمْتَحَىٰ مِنْ دِينِكَ

and renew the signs of Your religion that were erased

93

وَبُدِّلَ مِنْ حُكْمِكَ

and Your judgments that were distorted;

94

حَتَّىٰ تُعِيدَ دِينَكَ بِهِ وَعَلَىٰ يَدَيْهِ جَدِيداً

until you rekindle Your religion through him and at his hands

95

غَضّاً مَحْضاً صَحِيحاً

as well-defined, pure, and sound as it is;

96

لاَ عِوَجَ فِيهِ وَلاَ بِدْعَةَ مَعَهُ

free from loopholes and heresies,

97

وَحَتَّىٰ تُنِيرَ بِعَدْلِهِ ظُلَمَ ٱلْجَوْرِ

and until You illumine the murk of unfairness by means of his justice,

98

وَتُطْفِئَ بِهِ نِيرَانَ ٱلْكُفْرِ

extinguish the fires of atheism though him,

99

وَتُوضِحَ بِهِ مَعَاقِدَ ٱلْحَقِّ

and elucidate the positions of truth

100

وَمَجْهُولَ ٱلْعَدْلِ

and the justice that will have been unknown.

101

فَإِنَّهُ عَبْدُكَ ٱلَّذِي ٱسْتَخْلَصْتَهُ لِنَفْسِكَ

He is verily Your servant whom You have saved for Yourself,

102

وَٱصْطَفَيْتَهُ عَلَىٰ غَيْبِكَ

chosen for keeping the unseen matters of You,

103

وَعَصَمْتَهُ مِنَ ٱلذُّنُوبِ

protected against sins,

104

وَبَرَّأْتَهُ مِنَ ٱلْعُيُوبِ

cleaned from any defect,

105

وَطَهَّرْتَهُ مِنَ ٱلرِّجْسِ

purified from filth,

106

وَسَلَّمْتَهُ مِنَ ٱلدَّنَسِ

and kept sound against dirt.

107

اَللَّهُمَّ فَإِنَّا نَشْهَدُ لَهُ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَامَةِ

O Allah, we will verily testify to him on the Day of Resurrection

108

وَيَوْمَ حُلُولِ ٱلطَّامَّةِ

and on the day when the overwhelming event comes

109

أَنَّهُ لَمْ يُذْنِبْ ذَنْباً

that he did not commit any single sin,

110

وَلاَ أَتَىٰ حُوباً

nor did he practice any unlawful thing,

111

وَلَمْ يَرْتَكِبْ مَعْصِيَةً

nor did he do any act of disobedience (to You),

112

وَلَمْ يُضَيِّعْ لَكَ طَاعَةً

nor did he miss any act of obedience (to You),

113

وَلَمْ يَهْتِكْ لَكَ حُرْمَةً

nor did he violate any inviolable thing,

114

وَلَمْ يُبَدِّلْ لَكَ فَرِيضَةً

nor did he distort any precept,

115

وَلَمْ يُغَيِّرْ لَكَ شَرِيعَةً

nor did he change any law.

116

وَأَنَّهُ ٱلْهَادِي ٱلْمُهْتَدِي

And, moreover, he is verily the guiding, the rightly guided,

117

ٱلطَّاهِرُ ٱلتَّقِيُّ

the pure, the pious,

118

ٱلنَّقِيُّ ٱلرَّضِيُّ ٱلزَّكِيُ

the immaculate, the approved, and the bright.

119

اَللَّهُمَّ أَعْطِهِ فِي نَفْسِهِ

O Allah, give him what he wishes regarding his own self

120

وَأَهْلِهِ وَوَلَدِهِ

his family, his sons,

121

وَذُرِّيَّتِهِ وَأُمَّتِهِ

his offspring, his nation,

122

وَجَمِيعِ رَعِيَّتِهِ

and all of his subjects

123

مَا تُقِرُّ بِهِ عَيْنَهُ

in such a way that makes him delighted

124

وَتَسُرُّ بِهِ نَفْسَهُ

and pleased in himself,

125

وَتَجْمَعُ لَهُ مُلْكَ ٱلْمَمْلَكَاتِ كُلِّهَا

and makes You put under his sphere of influence all kingdoms;

126

قَرِيبِهَا وَبَعِيدِهَا

the near and the remote,

127

وَعَزِيزِهَا وَذَلِيلِهَا

and the powerful and the weak

128

حَتَّىٰ تُجْرِيَ حُكْمَهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ حُكْمٍ

so that You will cause his rule to prevail over every rule

129

وَيَغْلِبَ بِحَقِّهِ كُلَّ بَاطِلٍ

and his right (issue) to overcome the entire wrongness.

130

اَللَّهُمَّ ٱسْلُكْ بِنَا عَلَىٰ يَدَيْهِ

O Allah, lead us at his hands

131

مِنْهَاجَ ٱلْهُدَى

to the course of guidance,

132

وَٱلْمَحَجَّةَ ٱلْعُظْمَى

the greatest Path,

133

وَٱلطَّرِيقَةَ ٱلْوُسْطَى

and the equitable way of life

134

ٱلَّتِي يَرْجِعُ إِلَيْهَا ٱلْغَالِي

to which those who had gone too far will come back (repentant)

135

وَيَلْحَقُ بِهَا ٱلتَّالِي

and those who had fallen down will catch up.

136

وَقَوِّنَا عَلَىٰ طَاعَتِهِ

And (please) encourage us to carry out acts of obedience to him,

137

وَثَبِّتْنَا عَلَىٰ مُشَايَعَتِهِ

make us stand firmly in following him,

138

وَٱمْنُنْ عَلَيْنَا بِمُتَابَعَتِهِ

endue us with the favor of adherence to him,

139

وَٱجْعَلْنَا فِي حِزْبِهِ ٱلْقَوَّامِينَ بِأَمْرِهِ

and include us with his group who achieve his commands,

140

ٱلصَّابِرِينَ مَعَهُ

act steadfastly towards him,

141

ٱلطَّالِبِينَ رِضَاكَ بِمُنَاصَحَتِهِ

and seek Your pleasure by means of acting sincerely to him,

142

حَتَّىٰ تَحْشُرَنَا يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَامَةِ فِي أَنْصَارِهِ

so that You will gather us on the Resurrection Day with his supporters,

143

وَأَعْوَانِهِ وَمُقَوِّيَةِ سُلْطَانِهِ

backers, and those who consolidate his authority.

144

اَللَّهُمَّ وَٱجْعَلْ ذٰلِكَ لَنَا

O Allah, make us do all these things

145

خَالِصاً مِنْ كُلِّ شَكٍّ وَشُبْهَةٍ

free from any doubt, confusion,

146

وَرِيَاءٍ وَسُمْعَةٍ

ostentation, and seeking of reputation

147

حَتَّىٰ لاَ نَعْتَمِدَ بِهِ غَيْرَكَ

so that we will rely upon none save You

148

وَلاَ نَطْلُبَ بِهِ إِلاَّ وَجْهَكَ

and seek none save Your sake

149

وَحَتَّىٰ تُحِلَّنَا مَحَلَّهُ

and that You will put us up in his vicinity

150

وَتَجْعَلَنَا فِي ٱلْجَنَّةِ مَعَهُ

and place us with him in Paradise.

151

وَأَعِذْنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّأْمَةِ وَٱلْكَسَلِ وَٱلْفَتْرَةِ

And (please) protect us against weariness, laziness and lethargy

152

وَٱجْعَلْنَا مِمَّنْ تَنْتَصِرُ بِهِ لِدِينِكَ

and include us with those whom You take up for backing Your religion

153

وَتُعِزُّ بِهِ نَصْرَ وَلِيِّكَ

and for increasing the victory of Your vicegerent.

154

وَلاَ تَسْتَبْدِلْ بِنَا غَيْرَنَا

Do not put others in our places,

155

فَإِنَّ ٱسْتِبْدَالَكَ بِنَا غَيْرَنَا عَلَيْكَ يَسِيرٌ

because it is easy for You to put others in our places,

156

وَهُوَ عَلَيْنَا كَثِيـرٌ

but it is extremely difficult for us if You do it.

157

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ وُلاَةِ عَهْدِهِ

O Allah, send blessings upon his representatives

158

وَٱلأَئِمَّةِ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ

and the leaders after him,

159

وَبَلِّغْهُمْ آمَالَهُمْ

make them attain their wishes,

160

وَزِدْ فِي آجَالِهِمْ

increase their lifetimes,

161

وَأَعِزَّ نَصْرَهُمْ

support their victory,

162

وَتَمِّمْ لَهُمْ مَا أَسْنَدْتَ إِلَيْهِمْ مِنْ أَمْرِكَ لَهُمْ

make perfect for them Your orders that You bid them to carry out,

163

وَثَبِّتْ دَعَائِمَهُمْ

strengthen their pillars,

164

وَٱجْعَلْنَا لَهُمْ أَعْوَاناً

and make us their helpers

165

وَعَلَىٰ دِينِكَ أَنْصَاراً

and supporters of Your religion.

166

فَإِنَّهُمْ مَعَادِنُ كَلِمَاتِكَ

They are the essence of Your Words,

167

وَخُزَّانُ عِلْمِكَ

the hoarders of Your knowledge,

168

وَأَرْكَانُ تَوْحِيدِكَ

the pillars of the profession of Your Oneness,

169

وَدَعَائِمُ دِينِكَ

the posts of Your religion,

170

وَوُلاَةُ أَمْرِكَ

the authorities of Your commands,

171

وَخَالِصَتُكَ مِنْ عِبَادِكَ

the choices over Your servants,

172

وَصَفْوَتُكَ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ

the well-chosen ones from among Your creatures,

173

وَأَوْلِيَاؤُكَ وَسَلاَئِلُ أَوْلِيَائِكَ

the vicegerents of You, the offspring of Your vicegerents,

174

وَصَفْوَةُ أَوْلاَدِ نَبِيِّكَ

and the selected descendants of Your Prophet.

175

وَٱلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَيْهِمْ

Peace be upon him and them.

176

وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

Allah’s mercy and blessings, too, be upon them.
