Ziyarat at Masjid al-Hannana (Imam Mahdi)

السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مُذِلَّ ٱلْكَافِرِينَ ٱلْمُتَكَبِّرِينَ ٱلظَّالِمِينَ

alssalamu `alayka ya mudhilla alkafirina almutakabbirina alzzalimina

Peace be upon you, O humiliator of the arrogant and oppressing unbelievers.

السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مَوْلايَ يَا صَاحِبَ ٱلزَّمَانِ

alssalamu `alayka ya mawlaya ya sahiba alzzamani

Peace be upon you, O my master, the Patron of the Age.

السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ

alssalamu `alayka yabna rasuli allahi

Peace be upon you, O son of Allah’s Messenger.

السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ امِيرِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

alssalamu `alayka yabna amiri almu'minina

Peace be upon you, O son of the Commander of the Believers.

السّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ فَاطِمَةَ ٱلزَّهْرَاءِ

alssalamu `alayka yabna fatimata alzzahra'i

Peace be upon you, O son of Fatimah the Luminous

سَيِّدَةِ نِسَاءِ ٱلْعَالَمِينَ

sayyidati nisa'i al`alamina

and the Doyenne of the women of the world.

السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ ٱلائِمَّةِ ٱلْحُجَجِ ٱلْمَعصُومِينَ

alssalamu `alayka yabna al-a'immati alhujaji alma`sumina

Peace be upon you, O son of the Imams—the arguments (of Allah) and Immaculate

وَٱلإِمَامُ عَلَىٰ ٱلْخَلْقِ اجْمَعِينَ

wal-imamu `ala alkhalqi ajma`ina

and the leader of all creatures.

السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مَوْلايَ

alssalamu `alayka ya mawlaya

Peace be upon you, O my master

سَلامَ مُخْلِصٍ لَكَ فِي ٱلْوِلاَيتِ

salama mukhlisin laka fi alwilayati

addressed by him who is loyal to your (divinely commissioned) leadership.

اشْهَدُ انَّكَ ٱلإِمَامُ ٱلْمَهْدِيُّ قَوْلاً وَفِعْلاً

ash-hadu annaka al-imamu almahdiyyu qawlan wa fi`lan

I bear witness that you are the well-guided Imam in word and deed,

وَانْتَ ٱلَّذِي تَمْلَا ٱلارْضَ قِسْطاً وَعَدْلاً

wa anta alladhi tamla'u al-arda qistan wa `adlan

it is you who shall fill the earth with justice and impartiality

بَعْدَ مَا مُلِئَتْ ظُلْماً وَجَوْراً

ba`dama muli'at zulman wa jawran

after it will be filled with wrong and partiality.

فَعَجَّلَ ٱللَّهُ فَرَجَكَ

fa`ajjala allahu farajaka

So, may Allah hasten your reappearance,

وَسَهَّلَ مَخْرَجَكَ

wa sahhala makhrajaka

make easy your advent,

وَقَرَّبَ زَمَانَكَ

wa qarraba zamanaka

make nearer the time of your coming,

وَكَثَّرَ انْصَارَكَ وَاعْوَانَكَ

wa kaththara ansaraka wa a`wanaka

increase the number of your supporters and backers,

وَانْجَزَ لَكَ مَا وَعَدَكَ

wa anjaza laka ma wa `adaka

and fulfill for you all that which He has promised you.

فَهُوَ اصْدَقُ ٱلْقَائِلِينَ:

fahuwa asdaqu alqa'ilina

He is surely the most truthful of all those who can speak (and He has said):

(وَنُرِيدُ انْ نَمُنَّ عَلَىٰ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسْتُضْعِفُوا فِي ٱلارْضِ

wa nuridu an namunna `ala alladhina istud`ifu fi al-ardi

“We desired to bestow a favor upon those who were deemed weak in the land,

وَنَجْعَلَهُمْ ائِمَّة ًوَنَجْعَلَهُمُ الْوَارِثِينَ)

wa naj`alahum a'immatan wa naj`alahumu alwarithina

make them the Imams, and make them the heirs.”

يَا مَوْلاَيَ يَا صَاحِبَ ٱلزَّمَانِ

ya mawlaya ya sahiba alzzamani

O my master! O Patron of the Age!
