Amulet of Imam Kadhim (A.S.)

إِلٰهِي كَمْ مِنْ عَدُوٍّ شَحَذَ لِي ظُبَةَ مُدْيَتِهِ، وَأَرْهَفَ لِي شَبا حَدِّهِ، وَدافَ لِي قَواتِلَ سُمُومِهِ، وَلَمْ تَنَمْ عَنِّي عَيْنُ حِراسَتِهِ، فَلَمَّا رَأَيْتَ ضَعْفِي عَنِ احْتِمالِ الْفَوادِحِ ، وَعَجْزِي عَنْ مُلِمَّاتِ الْجَوائِحِ، صَرَفْتَ ذٰلِكَ عَنِّي بِحَوْلِكَ وَقُوَّتِكَ، لَابِحَوْلٍ مِنِّي وَلَا قُوَّةٍ، فَأَلْقَيْتَهُ فِي الْحَفِيرِ الَّذِي احْتَفَرَهُ لِي خائِباً مِمَّا أَمَّلَهُ فِي الدُّنْيا، مُتَباعِداً مِمَّا رَجاهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ، فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَلَىٰ ذٰلِكَ قَدْرَ اسْتِحْقاقِكَ سَيِّدِي .

O God, how many an enemy has sharpened his dagger for me, sharpened his blade for me, and prepared for me the furthest reaches of his poisonous weapons, yet his watchful eye never slept on me. But when You saw my weakness in bearing calamities and my inability to face the calamities of disasters, You turned that away from me with Your power and strength—without any power or strength from me—and You cast him into the pit he had dug for me, disappointed in what he had provided. He placed his hopes in this world, far from what he hoped for in the Hereafter, so praise be to You for that as much as You deserve, my Master. ترجمه در دست تهیه — به انگلیسی نمایش داده می‌شود

اللّٰهُمَّ فَخُذْهُ بِعِزَّتِكَ، وَافْلُلْ حَدَّهُ عَنِّي بِقُدْرَتِكَ، وَاجْعَلْ لَهُ شُغْلاً فِيما يَلِيهِ، وَعَجْزاً عَمَّا يُناوِيهِ . اللّٰهُمَّ وَأَعْدِنِي عَلَيْهِ عَدْوَىً حاضِرَةً، تَكُونُ مِنْ غَيْظِي شِفاءً، وَمِنْ حَنَقِي عَلَيْهِ وَقاءً، وَصِلِ اللّٰهُمَّ دُعائِي بِالْإِجابَةِ، وَانْظِمْ شِكايَتِي بِالتَّغْيِيرِ، وَعَرِّفْهُ عَمَّا قَلِيلٍ مَا أَوْعَدْتَ الظَّالِمِينَ، وَعَرِّفْنِي مَا وَعَدْتَ فِي إِجابَةِ الْمُضْطَرِّينَ، إِنَّكَ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيمِ، وَالْمَنِّ الْكَرِيمِ.

O Allah, take him by Your might, remove his punishment from me by Your power, and make him busy with what is next to him and helpless against what he intends. O Allah, restore to me a present contagion against him, that will be a cure for my rage and a protection from my anger toward him. O Allah, answer my prayer, and resolve my complaint with change. Let him know, in a little while, what You have promised the wrongdoers, and let me know what You have promised in answering the distressed.
