- 1
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي اَسْاَلُكَ بِاَنَّ لَكَ ٱلْحَمْدَ
O Allah, I beseech You in the name of all praise being to You;
- 2
لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ اَنْتَ
there is no god save You,
- 3
ٱلْبَدِيءُ قَبْلَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ
[You are] the Premier before all things;
- 4
وَاَنْتَ ٱلْحَيُّ ٱلْقَيُّومُ
and You are the Ever-living, the Self-Subsistent;
- 5
وَلاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ اَنْتَ
and there is no god save You,
- 6
ٱلَّذِي لاَ يُذِلُّكَ شَيْءٌ
nothing can humiliate You;
- 7
وَاَنْتَ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ فِي شَاْنٍ
and You, every moment, are in a state (of glory).
- 8
لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ اَنْتَ
There is no god save You,
- 9
خَالِقُ مَا يُرَىٰ وَمَا لاَ يُرَىٰ
the Creator of what is seen and what cannot be seen,
- 10
ٱلْعَالِمُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ بِغَيْرِ تَعْلِيمٍ
the Knower of all things without learning;
- 11
اَسْاَلُكَ بِآلاَئِكَ وَنَعْمَائِكَ
I beseech You in the name of Your bounties and gratuities
- 12
بِاَنَّكَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلرَّبُّ ٱلْوَاحِدُ
and in the name of Your being Allah, the One Lord,
- 13
لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ اَنْتَ
there is no god save You,
- 14
ٱلرَّحْمٰنُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
the All-beneficent, the All-merciful;
- 15
وَاَسْاَلُكَ بِاَنَّكَ اَنْتَ ٱللَّهُ
and I beseech You in the name of Your being Allah;
- 16
لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ اَنْتَ
there is no god save You,
- 17
ٱلْوِتْرُ ٱلْفَرْدُ
the Unique, the Single,
- 18
ٱلاَحَدُ ٱلصَّمَدُ
the One, and the eternally Besought of all,
- 19
ٱلَّذِي لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ
Who begets not, nor is he begotten,
- 20
وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُواً اَحَدٌ
and none is like Him.
- 21
وَاَسْاَلُكَ بِاَنَّكَ ٱللَّهُ
And I beseech You in the name of Your being Allah,
- 22
لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ اَنْتَ
there is no god save You;
- 23
ٱللَّطِيفُ ٱلْخَبِيرُ
the Knower of subtleties, the All-aware,
- 24
ٱلْقَائِمُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ نَفْسٍ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ
Who watches every soul as to what it earns,
- 25
ٱلرَّقِيبُ ٱلْحَفِيظُ
the Watcher, the Preserver.
- 26
وَاَسْاَلُكَ بِاَنَّكَ ٱللَّهُ
And I beseech You in the name of Your being Allah,
- 27
ٱلاَوَّلُ قَبْلَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ
the First before all things,
- 28
وَٱلآخِرُ بَعْدَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ
the Last after all things,
- 29
وَٱلْبَاطِنُ دُونَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ
the Knower of all hidden things,
- 30
ٱلضَّارُّ ٱلنَّافِعُ
the source of both harm [for those who deserve harm] and benefit,
- 31
ٱلْحَكِيمُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ
the All-wise, and All-knowing.
- 32
وَاَسْاَلُكَ بِاَنَّكَ اَنْتَ ٱللَّهُ
And I beseech You in the name of Your being Allah,
- 33
لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ اَنْتَ
there is no god save You,
- 34
ٱلْحَيُّ ٱلْقَيُّومُ
the Ever-living, the Self-Subsistent,
- 35
ٱلْبَاعِثُ ٱلْوَارِثُ
the Resurrector, the Inheritor,
- 36
ٱلْحَنَّانُ ٱلْمَنَّانُ
the All-tender, the All-favorer,
- 37
بَدِيعُ ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ وَٱلاَرْضِ
the Fashioner of the heavens and the earth,
- 38
ذُو ٱلْجَلاَلِ وَٱلإِكْرَامِ
the Lord of majesty and honor,
- 39
وَذُو ٱلطَّوْلِ وَذُو ٱلْعِزَّةِ وَذُو ٱلسُّلْطَانِ
and the Lord of bounty, dignity, and absolute authority.
- 40
لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ اَنْتَ
There is no god save You;
- 41
اَحَطْتَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عِلْماً
You encompass all things with knowledge,
- 42
وَاَحْصَيْتَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ عَدَداً
and You record the number of all things;
- 43
صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
(please) send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
