سُبْحَانَ ٱللَّهِ
All glory be to Allah,
- 2
وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ
all praise be to Allah,
- 3
وَلاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ ٱللَّهُ
there is no god save Allah,
- 4
وَٱللَّهُ اَكْبَرُ
and Allah is the Greatest.
- 5
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي اَسْاَلُكَ
O Allah, I beseech You,
- 6
يَا حَلِيمُ ذُو اَنَاةٍ
O Indulgent, Forbearing,
- 7
غَفُورٌ وَدُودٌ
Forgiving, and Loving-kind,
- 8
اَنْ تَتَجَاوَزَ عَنْ سَيِّئَاتِي وَمَا عِنْدِي
to overlook my sins and what I have had,
- 9
بِحُسْنِ مَا عِنْدَكَ
out of the excellence of what You have,
- 10
وَاَنْ تُعْطِيَنِي مِنْ عَطَائِكَ مَا يَسَعُنِي
to give me, out of Your giving, that which suffices me,
- 11
وَتُلْهِمَنِي فيمَا اَعْطَيْتَنِي ٱلْعَمَلَ فيهِ
to inspire me to act upon what You have given me;
- 12
بِطَاعَتِكَ وَطَاعَةِ رَسُولِكَ
that is to obey You and to obey Your Messenger,
- 13
وَاَنْ تُعْطِيَنِي مِنْ عَفْوِكَ
and to give me part of Your pardon
- 14
مَا اَسْتَوْجِبُ بِهِ كَرَامَتَكَ
so much so that I ought to have Your honoring.
- 15
اَللَّهُمَّ اَعْطِنِي مَا اَنْتَ اَهْلُهُ
O Allah, (please) grant me that which befits You
- 16
وَلاَ تَفْعَلْ بِي مَا اَنَا اَهْلُهُ
and do not do to me that which I deserve.
- 17
فَإنَّمَا اَنَا بِكَ
Verily, I exist through You
- 18
وَلَمْ اُصِبْ خَيْراً قَطُّ إِلاَّ مِنْكَ
and I have never been given any good thing from any source except You.
- 19
يَا اَبْصَرَ ٱلاَبْصَرِينَ
O He Who is the best Seer of all those who can see!
- 20
وَيَا اَسْمَعَ ٱلسَّامِعِينَ
O He Who is the best Hearer of all those who can hear!
- 21
وَيَا اَحْكَمَ ٱلْحَاكِمِينَ
O He Who is the Justest of all those who judge!
- 22
وَيَا جَارَ ٱلْمُسْتَجِيرِينَ
O He Who aids those who seek His aid!
- 23
وَيَا مُجِيبَ دَعْوَةِ ٱلْمُضْطَرِّينَ
O He Who responds to the prayer of the oppressed!
- 24
صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
Send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
