أللَّهُمَّ اسْقِنَـا الْغَيْثَ،
1O God, water us with rain,
- 34
وَانْشُرْ عَلَيْنَا رَحْمَتَـكَ بِغَيْثِكَ الْمُغْدِقِ
2unfold upon us Your mercy through Your copious rain
- 35
مِنَ الْسَّحَابِ الْمُنْسَـاقِ لِنَبَاتِ أَرْضِكَ الْمُونِقِ فِي جَمِيـعِ الآفَاقِ،
3from the driven clouds, so that Your goodly earth may grow on all horizons!

وَامْنُنْ عَلَى عِبَادِكَ بِإينَاعِ الثَّمَرَةِ،
4Show kindness to Your servants through the ripening of the fruit,
- 37
وأَحْيِ بِلاَدَكَ بِبُلُوغِ الزَّهَرَةِ.
5revive Your land through the blossoming of the flowers,
- 38
وَأَشْهِدْ مَلائِكَتَكَ الْكِرَامَ السَّفَرَةَ
6and let Your angels - the noble scribes - be witness
- 39
بِسَقْي مِنْكَ نَافِع دَائِم غُزْرُهُ
7to a beneficial watering from You, lasting in its abundance,
- 40
َواسِعٌ دِرَرُهُ وَابِل سَرِيع عَاجِل
8plenty in its flow, heavy, quick, soon,
- 41
تُحْيِي بِهِ مَا قَدْ مَات، وَتَرُدُّ بهِ مَا قَدْ فَاتَ،
9through which You revivest what has died, returnest what has vanished,
- 42
وَتُخْرِجُ بِهِ مَا هُوَ آت،
10bringest forth what is coming,
- 43
وَتُوَسِّعُ بِهِ فِي الأَقْوَاتِ،
11and providest plentiful foods,
- 44
سَحَاباً مُتَرَاكِماً هَنِيئاً مَرِيئاً طَبَقاً
12through heaped up, wholesome, productive clouds, in reverberating layers,
- 45
مُجَلْجَلاً غَيْرَ مُلِثٍّ وَدْقُهُ،
13the rain's downpour not without cease,
- 46
وَلاَ خُلَّب بَرْقُهُ.
14the lightning's flashes not without fruit!
- 47
أللَّهُمَّ اسْقِنَا غَيْثاً مَغيثَاً مَرِيعاً مُمْرِعاً عَرِيْضَاً،
15O God, give us water through rain, helping, productive, fertilizing, widespread,
- 48
وَاسِعاً غَزِيراً تَرُدُّ بِهِ النَّهِيضَ وَتَجْبُرُ بِهِ الْمَهِيضَ.
16plentiful, abundant, bringing back the risen, restoring the broken!

أللَّهُمَّ اسْقِنَا سَقْياً تُسِيلُ مِنْهُ الظِّرابَ،
17O God, give us water with a watering through which You wilt make the stone hills pour,
- 50
وَتَمْلاءُ مِنْهُ الْجِبَابَ،
18fill the cisterns,
- 51
وَتُفَجِّرُ بِهِ الأنْهَارَ،
19flood the rivers,
- 52
وَتُنْبِتُ بِهِ الأشْجَارَ
20make the trees grow,
- 53
وَتُرْخِصُ بِهِ الأسْعَارَ فِي جَمِيع الأمْصَارِ،
21bring down prices in all the lands,
- 54
وَتَنْعَشُ بِهِ البَهَائِمَ وَالْخَلْقَ،
22invigorate the beasts and the creatures,
- 55
وَتُكْمِلُ لَنَا بِهِ طَيِّبَاتِ الرِّزْقِ،
23perfect for us the agreeable things of provision,
- 56
وَتُنْبِتُ لَنَا بِهِ الزَّرْعَ،
24make grow for us the fields,
- 57
وَتُدِرُّ بِهِ الضَّرْعَ،
25let flow for us the teats,
- 58
وَتَزِيدُنَا بِهِ قُوَّةً إلَى قُوَّتِنَا.
26and add for us strength to our strength!
- 59
أللَّهُمَّ لا تَجْعَلْ ظِلَّهُ عَلَيْنَا سَمُوماً
27O God, make not the cloud's shadow over us a burning wind,
- 60
وَلاَ تَجْعَلْ بَرْدَهُ عَلَيْنَا حُسُوماً،
28allow not its coldness to be cutting,
- 61
وَلاَ تَجْعَلْ صَوْبَهُ عَلَيْنَا رُجُوماً،
29let not its pouring down upon us be a stoning,
- 62
وَلا تَجْعَلْ مَاءَهُ عَلَيْنَا أُجَاجـاً.
30and make not its waters for us bitter!
- 63
أللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِ مُحَمَّد،
31O God, bless Muhammad and his Household
- 64
وَارْزُقْنَا مِنْ بَرَكَاتِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأرْضِ،
32and provide us with the blessings of the heavens and the earth!
- 65
إنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْء قَدِيرٌ .
33"Thou art powerful over everything"! (3:26)
