Sunday Rites. — 4th Imam dua — Sy Fatima(sa)dua — Imam Ali(as)dua — Ziyarats — Tasbih — Salats — Night — Sunday Dua of Imam Zainul Abideen (peace be upon him)

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

bismillahi alrrahmani alrrahimi

In the Name of Allah, the All-compassionate, the All-merciful.

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ الَّذِي لاَ أَرْجُو إِلاَّ فَضْلَهُ

bismillahi alladhi la arju illa fadlahu

In the name of Allah, from whom I hope for nothing but bounty,

وَلاَ أَخْشىٰ إِلاَّ عَدْلَهُ

wa la akhsha illa ʿadlahu

I fear nothing but justice,

وَلاَ أَعْتَمِدُ إِلاَّ قَوْلَهُ

wa la aʿtamidu illa qawlahu

I rely upon nothing but His word,

وَلاَ أُمْسِكُ إِلاَّ بِحَبْلِهِ

wa la umsiku illa bihablihi

and I cling to nothing but His Rope.

بِكَ أَسْتَجِيـرُ يَا ذَا ٱلْعَفْوِ وَٱلرِّضْوَانِ

bika astajiru ya dhalʿafwi walrridwani

In You do I seek sanctuary— O Possessor of pardon and good pleasure—

مِنَ ٱلظُّلْمِ وَٱلْعُدْوَانِ

mina alzzulmi walʿudwani

from wrong and enmity,

وَمِنْ غِيَرِ ٱلزَّمَانِ

wa min ghiyari alzzamani

from the vicissitudes of time

وَتَوَاتُرِ ٱلأَحْزَانِ

wa tawaturi al-ahzani

from recurrence of sorrows,

وَطَوَارِقِ ٱلْحَدَثَانِ

wa tawariqi alhadathani

from the striking of mishaps,

وَمِنِ ٱنْقِضَاءِ ٱلْمُدَّةِ قَبْلَ ٱلتَّأَهُّبِ وَٱلْعُدَّةِ

wa min inqida'i almuddati qabla altta'ahhubi walʿuddati

and from the expiration of the term before preparation and readiness.

وَإِيَّاكَ أَسْتَرْشِدُ لِمَا فيهِ ٱلصَّلاَحُ وَٱلإِصْلاَحُ

wa iyyaka astarshidu lima fihi alssalahu wal-islahu

From You do I seek guidance to that wherein is righteousness and setting aright.

وَبِكَ أَسْتَعينُ فيمَا يَقْتَرِنُ بِهِ ٱلنَّجَاحُ وَٱلإِنْجَاحُ

wa bika astaʿinu fima yaqtarinu bihi alnnajahu wal-injahu

From You do I seek help in that which is linked to success and favorable response.

وَإِيَّاكَ أَرْغَبُ فِي لِبَاسِ ٱلْعَافِيَةِ وَتَمَامِهَا

wa iyyaka arghabu fi libasi alʿafiyati wa tamamiha

From You do I desire for the garment of wellbeing and its completion,

وَشُمُولِ ٱلسَّلاَمَةِ وَدَوَامِهَا

wa shumuli alssalamati wa dawamiha

and the covering of health and its permanence.

وَ أَعُوذُ بِكَ يَا رَبِّ مِنْ هَمَزَاتِ ٱلشَّيَاطينِ

wa aʿudhu bika ya rabbi min hamazati alshshayatini

I seek refuge in You, O my Lord, from the evil suggestions of the devils.

وَ أَحْتَرِزُ بِسُلْطَانِكَ مِنْ جَوْرِ ٱلسَّلاَطِينِ

wa ahtarizu bisultanika min jawri alssalatini

I seek protection in Your sovereignty from the injustice of the sovereigns.

فَتَقَبَّلْ مَا كَانَ مِنْ صَلاَتِي وَصَوْمِي

fataqabbal ma kana min salati wa sawmi

So, (please) accept my past prayers and fasting,

وَٱجْعَلْ غَدِي وَمَا بَعْدَهُ أَفْضَلَ مِنْ سَاعَتِي وَيَوْمِي

wajʿal ghadi wa ma baʿdahu afdala min saʿati wa yawmi

make my morrow and what is after it better than my present hour and my day,

وَ أَعِزَّنِي فِي عَشيرَتِي وَقَوْمِي

wa aʿizzani fi ʿashirati wa qawmi

exalt me in my clan and people,

وَٱحْفَظْنِي فِي يَقْظَتِي وَنَوْمِي

wahfazni fi yaqzati wa nawmi

and protect me in my waking and sleep,

فَأَنْتَ ٱللَّهُ خَيْرٌ حَافِظاً

fa-anta allahu khayrun hafizan

for You are Allah, the Best Guardian,

وَ أَنْتَ أَرْحَمُ ٱلرَّاحِمِينَ

wa anta arhamu alrrahimina

and You are the most Merciful of all those who show mercy.

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَبْرَأُ إِلَيْكَ فِي يَوْمِي هٰذَا

allahumma inni abra'u ilayka fi yawmi hadha

O Allah, I repudiate, before You on this day of mine

وَمَا بَعْدَهُ مِنَ ٱلآحَادِ

wa ma baʿdahu mina al-ahadi

and on all Sundays that follow it,

مِنَ ٱلشِّرْكِ وَٱلإلْحَادِ

mina alshshirki wal-ilhadi

polytheism and atheism.

وَأُخْلِصُ لَكَ دُعَائِي

wa ukhlisu laka duʿa'i

I devote my supplication sincerely to You,

تَعَرُّضَاً لِلإجَابَةِ

taʿarrudan lil-ijabati

addressing myself to Your response.

وَأُقيمُ عَلَىٰ طَاعَتِكَ

wa uqimu ʿala taʿatika

I observe the acts of obedience to You

رَجَاءً لِلإِثَابَةِ

raja'an lil-ithabati

for hope of gaining Your rewards.

فَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ خَيْرِ خَلْقِكَ

fasalli ʿala muhammadin khayri khalqika

So, (please) bless Muhammad, the best of Your creation

ٱلدَّاعِي إِلَىٰ حَقِّكَ

alddaʿi ila haqqika

and the caller to Your truth,

وَ أَعِزَّنِي بِعِزِّكَ ٱلَّذِي لاَ يُضَامُ

wa aʿizzani biʿizzika alladhi la yudamu

and fortify me with Your almightiness, which is invulnerable,

وَٱحْفَظْنِي بِعَيْنِكَ ٱلَّتِي لاَ تَنَامُ

wahfazni biʿaynika allati la tanamu

protect me with Your Eye, which never sleeps,

وَٱخْتِمْ بِٱلإِنْقِطَاعِ إِلَيْكَ أَمْرِي

wakhtim bil-inqitaʿi ilayka amri

and seal my affair by acting devoutly to You

وَبِٱلْمَغْفِرَةِ عُمْرِي

wa bilmaghfirati ʿumri

and my life with forgiveness!

إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ ٱلْغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

innaka anta alghafuru alrrahimu

Surely, You are the All-forgiving, the All-compassionate!

Dua of Syeda Fatima (peace be upon her) for Sunday

ا َللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْ اَوَّلَ يَوْمِيْ هٰذَا فَلَاحًا،

allaahummaj a’l awwala yawmee haazaa falaahan,

O God, make the beginning of this day as welfare

وَ اٰخِرَهٗ نَجَاحًا،

wa aakherahu najaahan,

its end success

وَ اَوْسَطَهٗ صَلَاحًا،

wa awsatahu salaahan,

and its middle reformation.

اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ،

allaahumma salle a’laa mohammadin wa aale mohammadin

O Allah bless Muhammad and the progeny of Muhammad

وَ اجْعَلْنَا مِمَّنْ اَنَابَ اِلَيْكَ فَقَبِلْتَهٗ،

waj a’lnaa mimman anaaba elayka faqabiltahu,ʿ

and make us among those, when they turn to You, You accept them;

وَ تَوَكَّلَ عَلَيْكَ فَكَفَيْتَهٗ،

wa tawakkala a’layka fakafaytahu,

and if they rely on You, You are sufficient for them

وَ تَضَرَّعَ اِلَيْكَ فَرَحِمْتَهٗ.

wa tazarra-a’ elayka farahimtahu.

and if they beseech to You, You have mercy on them.

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Raheem

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ عَلٰي حِلْمِهٖ وَ اَنَاتِهٖ

Alhamdu lillahi ala hilmihi wa anaatihi

Praise is for Allah for His tolerance and His giving respite

وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلهِ عَلٰي عِلْمِيْ بِاَنَّ ذَنْبِيْ

Walhamdu lillahi ala ilmi bi anna dhanbi

Praise is for Allah and I am certain that my sins

وَ اِنْ کَبُرَ - صَغِيْرٌ فِيْ جَنْبِ عَفْوِهٖ

Wa in kabura - sagheerun fi janbi afwihi

- and even if they are great - are insignificant in front of His forgiveness

وَ جُرْمِيْ - وَ اِنْ عَظُمَ - حَقِيْرٌ عِنْدَ رَحْمَتِهٖ

Wa jurmi - wa in azuma - haqeerun inda rahmatihi

And my crime - even if it is great - is insignificant in front of His mercy

وَ سُبْحَانَ اللهِ الَّذِيْ رَفَعَ السَّمٰوٰتِ بِغَيْرِ عَمَدٍ

Wa subhanallahi alladhi rafa'a as-samawat bi ghayri amad

And glorification is for Allah who has raised the skies without any pillars

وَ اَنْشَاَ جَنَّاتِ الْمَاْوٰي بِلَا اَمَدٍ

Wa ansha'a jannat al-mawa bila amad

And created heavens without any passage of time

وَ خَلَقَ الْخَلَائِقِ بِلَا ظَهْرٍ وَ سَنَدٍ

Wa khalaq al-khala'iq bila zahr wa sanad

And created the creatures without any support

وَ لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ الْمُنْذِرُ مَنْ عَنَدَ عَنْ طَاعَتِهٖ

Wa la ilaha illa Allah al-mundhir man anada an ta'atihi

And there is no Lord except Allah who warns those who disobey Him

وَ عَتٰي عَنْ اَمْرِهٖ، وَ الْمُحَذِّرُ مَنْ لَجَّ فِيْ مَعْصِيَتِهٖ

Wa ata an amrihi, wal-muhadhir man lajj fi ma'siyatihi

And exceed the limits, and scares those who persist in disobedience

وَ اسْتَکْبَرَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِهِ، الْمُعْذِرُ اِلٰي مَنْ تَمَادٰي فِيْ غَيِّهٖ

Wa istakbara an ibadatihi, al-mu'adhir ila man tamada fi ghayyi

And are arrogant in worship, and He accepts the excuses of those who stray in their ignorance

وَ ضَلَالَتِهٖ لِتَثْبِيْتِ حُجَّتِهٖ عَلَيْهِ

Wa dalalatihi litathbit hujjatihi alayh

And deviation to establish His proof against them

وَ عِلْمِهٖ بِسُوْءِ عَاقِبَتِهٖ، وَ اللهُ اَکْبَرُ

Wa ilmihi bisu'i aqibatihi, wa Allahu Akbar

And His knowledge of their evil consequences, and Allah is Great

الْجَوَادُ الْکَرِيْمُ الَّذِيْ لَيْسَ لِقَدِيْمِ اِحْسَانِهٖ اِمْتِنَانِهٖ

Al-jawad al-karim alladhi laysa liqadim ihsanihi imtinanihi

The Generous and Merciful whose unlimited favours have no end

عَلٰي جَمِيْعِ خَلْقِهٖ نِهَايَۃٌ، وَ لَا لِقُدْرَتِهٖ وَ سُلْطَانِهٖ

Ala jami' khalqihi nihayah, wa la liqudratihi wa sultanihi

Upon all His creation, nor is there any boundary for His power and authority

عَلٰي بَرِيَّتِهٖ غَايَۃٌ، اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰي مُحَمَّدٍ وَ عَلٰي اَهْلِ بَيْتِهٖ

Ala bariyyatihi ghayah, Allahumma salli ala Muhammad wa ala ahli baytihi

Upon His creatures, O Allah, bestow blessings on Muhammad and his family

وَ بَارِکْ عَلٰي مُحَمَّدٍ وَ عَلٰي اَهْلِ بَيْتِهٖ، کَاَفْضَلِ مَا صَلَّيْتَ

Wa barik ala Muhammad wa ala ahli baytihi, ka-afdal ma sallayta

And bless Muhammad and his family, as You have blessed

وَ بَارَكْتَ عَلٰي اِبْرَاهِيْمَ وَ اٰلِ اِبْرَاهِيْمَ اِنَّکَ حَمِيْدٌ مَجِيْدٌ

Wa barakta ala Ibrahim wa ala ali Ibrahim innaka Hamidun Majid

Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim, indeed You are Praiseworthy, Glorious

اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُکَ سُؤَالَ مُذْنِبٍ اَوْ بَقَتْهُ مَعَاصِيْهِ فِيْ ضِيْقِ الْمَسَالِکِ

Allahumma inni as'aluka su'ala mudhnib aw baqat-hu ma'asi fi diq al-masalik

O Allah, I call upon You like a sinner whose sins have destroyed him by narrowing his path

وَ لَيْسَ لَهٗ مُجِيْرٌ سِوَاکَ، وَ لَا اَمَلٌ غَيْرُکَ

Wa laysa lahu mujeer siwak, wa la amal ghayruk

And there is no hope and respite except You

وَ لَا مُغِيْثٌ اَرْاَفُ بِهٖ مِنْکَ، وَ لَا مُعْتَمِدٌ يَعْتَمِدُ عَلَيْهِ غَيْرُکَ

Wa la mugheeth ar'af bihi mink, wa la mu'tamid ya'tamid alayh ghayruk

Nor anyone more merciful than You to listen to his complaints, nor a support better than You

اَنْتَ مَوْلَايَ الَّذِيْ جُدْتَ بِالنِّعَمِ قَبْلَ اسْتِحْقَاقِهَا

Anta mawlaya alladhi judta bin-ni'am qabl istihqaqiha

You send the bounties even before the commencement of merit

وَ اَهَّلْتَهَا بِتَطَوُّلِکَ غَيْرَ مُؤَهِّلِيْهَا

Wa ahhaltaha bi-tatawwulika ghayr mu'ahhiliha

And have bestowed favours on those who were not entitled for it

وَ لَمْ يَعُزُّکَ مَنْعٌ، وَ لَا اَکْدَاکَ اِعْطَاءٌ

Wa lam ya'uzzuka man', wa la akdaka i'ta'

Neither miserliness makes You rich or strong nor the question of those who beseech You decreases Your Munificence

وَ لَا اَنْفَدَ سَعَتَکَ سُؤَالُ مُلِحٍّ

Wa la anfa sa'atak su'al mulih

You have taken the responsibility of sustaining the creatures

بَلْ اَرَدْتَ اَرْزَاقَ عِبَادِکَ تَطَوُّلًا مِنْکَ عَلَيْهِمْ

Bal aradta arzaq ibadik tatawwulan mink alayhim

So that You can bestow Your Grace and Mercy upon them

وَ تَفَضُّلًا مِنْکَ لَدَيْهِمْ

Wa tafaddulan mink ladayhim

O Allah! Prayers fall short in praising You

اَللّٰهُمَّ کَلَّتِ الْعِبَارَۃُ عَنْ بُلُوْغِ مِدْحَتِکَ

Allahumma kallat al-ibara an bulugh midhatik

And tongues become dumb while enumerating Your favours

وَ هَفَتِ الْاَلْسُنُ عَنْ نَشْرِ مَحَامِدِکَ وَ تَفَضُّلِکَ

Wa hafat al-alsun an nashr mahamidik wa tafaddulik

O Lord! I have come in Your presence with a firm determination

وَ قَدْ تَعَمَّدْتُکَ بِقَصْدِيْ اِلَيْکَ وَ اِنْ اَحَاطَتْ بِيَ الذُّنُوْبُ

Wa qad ta'ammad-tuka bi-qasdi ilayk wa in ahatat biya adh-dhunub

Although my sins have engulfed me but You are the most Benevolent

وَ اَنْتَ اَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ، وَ اَکْرَمُ الْاَکْرَمِيْنَ

Wa anta arham ar-rahimin, wa akram al-akramin

The most Honoured, the most Generous among all

وَ اَجْوَدُ الْاَجْوَدِيْنَ، وَ اَنْعَمُ الرَّازِقِيْنَ

Wa ajwad al-ajwadin, wa an'am ar-raziqin

The best sustainer, the greatest Creator

وَ اَحْسَنُ الْخَالِقِيْنَ، الْاَوَّلُ، الْاٰخِرُ

Wa ahsan al-khaliqin, al-awwal, al-akhir

The First, the Last

الظَّاهِرُ، الْبَاطِنُ، اَجَلُّ، وَ اَعَزُّ

Az-zahir, al-batin, ajal, wa a'azz

The Apparent, the Concealed, the Most Honourable

وَ اَرْاَفُ وَ اَکْرَمُ مِنْ اَنْ تَرُدَّ مَنْ اَمَّلَکَ وَ رَجَاکَ

Wa ar'af wa akram min an tarudd man ammalak wa rajak

You are too great to refuse those whose hopes are pinned on You

وَ طَمِعَ فِيْمَا عِنْدَکَ

Wa tama'a fima indak

O the One Who deserves the praise, all the praise is for You

فَلَکَ الْحَمْدُ يَا اَهْلَ الْحَمْدِ

Falaka al-hamd ya ahl al-hamd

O my Lord, if I have been negligent in being attentive to my soul

اِلٰهِيْ اِنِّيْ جُرْتُ عَلٰي نَفْسِيْ فِي النَّظَرِ لَهَا

Ilahi inni jurtu ala nafsi fi an-nazar laha

And have spent the days of my life in disobedience

وَ سَالَمْتُ الْاَيَّامَ بِاقْتِرَافِ الْاٰثَامِ

Wa salamt al-ayyam bi-iqtraf al-atham

Still You are the Lord of Bestowals, Possessor of Majesty, and Grandeur

وَ اَنْتَ وَلِيُّ الْاَنْعَامِ ذُو الْجَلَالِ وَ الْاِکْرَامِ

Wa anta wali al-an'am dhu al-jalal wa al-ikram

Still Your attention remains on this soul

فَمَا بَقِيَ اِلَّا نَظَرُکَ لَهَا فَاجْعَلْ مَرَدَّهَا مِنْکَ بِالنَّجَاحِ

Fama baqiya illa nazaruka laha faj'al mardaha mink bin-najah

Now make this soul successful in Your Presence

وَ اَجْمِلِ النَّظَرَ مِنْکَ لَهَا بِالْفَلَاحِ

Wa ajmil an-nazar mink laha bil-falah

Because You are the only Bestower, the Benefactor

فَاَنْتَ الْمُعْطِيْ النَّفَّاحُ ذُو الْاٰلَاءِ وَ النِّعَمِ وَ السَّمَاحِ

Fa anta al-mu'ti an-naffah dhu al-ala'i wa an-ni'am wa as-samah

Possessor of Generosity, O the One to illuminate the dawn

يَا فَالِقَ الْاِصْبَاحِ، امْنَحْهَا سُؤْلَهَا وَ اِنْ لَمْ تَسْتَحِقَّ يَا غَفَّارُ

Ya faliq al-isbah, amnah su'laha wa in lam tastahiq ya ghaffar

Grant the favours of this heart although it does not deserve

اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُکَ بِاسْمِکَ الَّذِيْ تُمْضِيْ بِهِ الْمَقَادِيْرَ

Allahumma inni as'aluka bismik alladhi tumdi bihi al-maqadir

O the excessive forgiver, O Allah I beseech You by those names which moulds the destiny

وَ بِعِزَّتِکَ الَّتِيْ تَتِمُّ بِهِ التَّدَابِيْرَ

Wa bi-izzatik allati tatimmu bihi at-tadabir

By Your Honour which complete the actions

اَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلٰي مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

An tusalli ala Muhammad wa ali Muhammad

Bless Muhammad and his progeny

وَ تَرْزُقَنِيْ رِزْقًا وَاسِعًا حَلَالًا طَيِّبًا مِنْ فَضْلِکَ

Wa tarzuqani rizqan wasi'an halalan tayyiban min fadlik

And grant me pure and vast sustenance from Your bounty

وَ اَنْ لَا تَحُوْلَ بَيْنِيْ وَ بَيْنَ مَا يُقَرِّبُنِيْ مِنْکَ

Wa an la tahool bayni wa bayna ma yuqarribuni mink

And do not let any barrier come between me and what brings me closer to You

يَا حَنَّانُ يَا مَنَّانُ

Ya Hannan Ya Mannan

O the Most Compassionate, O the Most Beneficent

اَللّٰهُمَّ وَ اَدْرِجْنِيْ فِيْمَنْ اَبَحْتَ لَهُمْ مِنْ غُفْرَانِکَ

Allahumma wa adrijni fiman abahta lahum min ghufranik

O Allah, include me among those whom You have granted Your forgiveness

وَ عَفْوَکَ وَ رِضَاکَ وَ اَسْکَنْتَهٗ جِنَانَکَ

Wa afwak wa ridhak wa askantahu jinanak

And Your pardon and pleasure, and have settled them in Your gardens

بِرَأْفَتِکَ وَ طَوْلِکَ وَ اِمْتِنَانِكَ

Bi-ra'fatika wa tawlik wa imtinanika

By Your kindness, generosity, and grace

يَا اِلٰهِيْ اَنْتَ اَکْرَمْتَ اَوْلِيَائَکَ بِکَرَامَاتِکَ

Ya Ilahi anta akramta awliya'aka bi-karamatika

O my Lord, You have honored Your friends with Your signs (miracles)

فَاَوْجَبْتَ لَهُمْ حِيَاطَتَکَ

Fa-awjabta lahum hiyatatak

And have made Your protection necessary for them

وَ اَظْلَلْتَهُمْ بِرِعَايَتِکَ مِنَ التَّتَابُعِ فِيْ الْمَهَالِکِ

Wa azlaltahum bi-ri'ayatik min at-tatabu' fi al-mahalik

And have put them under Your care to save them from destruction

وَ اَنَا عَبْدُکَ، فَانْقِذْنِيْ وَ الْبِسْنِيْ الْعَافِيَۃَ

Wa ana abduk, fa-anqidhni wa albisni al-afiyah

I am also Your servant, so grant me salvation and protection

وَ اِلٰي طَاعَتِکَ فَمِلْ بِيْ، وَ عَنْ طُغْيَانِکَ وَ مَعْصِيَتِکَ فَرُدَّنِيْ

Wa ila ta'atik fa-mil bi, wa an tughyanik wa ma'siyatak faruddni

And make me attentive towards Your obedience, and turn me away from disobedience

فَقَدْ عَجَّتْ اِلَيْکَ الْاَصْوَاتُ بِضُرُوْبِ اللُّغَاتِ

Faqad ajjat ilayk al-aswat bi-dhurub al-lughat

Voices have been raised to You in various languages

يَسْئَلُوْنَکَ الْحَاجَاتِ تُرْتَجٰي لِمَحْقِ الْعُيُوْبِ

Yas'aloonak al-hajat turta-ja limahq al-uyub

Asking You for their needs, hoping for the erasure of their defects

وَ غُفْرَانِ الذُّنُوْبِ يَا عَلَّامَ الْغُيُوْبِ

Wa ghufran adh-dhunub ya Allam al-ghuyub

And forgiveness of sins, O Knower of all unseen

اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْتَهْدِيْکَ فَاهْدِنِيْ

Allahumma inni astahdika fahdini

O Allah, I seek guidance from You, so guide me

وَ اَعْتَصِمُ بِکَ فَاعْصِمْنِيْ

Wa a'tasim bika fa'asimni

And I seek protection from You, so protect me

وَ اَدِّ عَنِّيْ حُقُوْقَکَ عَلَيَّ

Wa addi anni huquqak alayya

And fulfill Your rights upon me

اِنَّکَ اَهْلُ التَّقْوٰي وَ اَهْلُ الْمَغْفِرَۃِ

Innaka ahlu at-taqwa wa ahlu al-maghfirah

Surely You are worthy to be feared and worthy to forgive

وَ اصْرِفْ عَنِّيْ شَرَّ کُلِّ ذِيْ شَرٍّ اِلٰي خَيْرٍ مَا لَا يَمْلِکُهٗ اَحَدٌ سِوَاکَ

Wa asrif anni sharr kulli dhi sharr ila khayr ma la yamlikuhu ahad siwak

And repel from me the evil of every evil person to the good that nobody except You owns

وَ احْتَمِلْ عَنِّيْ مُفْتَرَضَاتِ حُقُوْقِ الْاٰبَاءِ وَ الْاُمَّهَاتِ

Wa ahtamil anni muftaradat huquq al-aba' wa al-ummahat

And help me to bear the obligatory rights of the fathers and the mothers

وَ اغْفِرْ لِيْ وَ لَهُمَا وَ لِلْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ

Wa aghfir li wa lahuma wa lil-mu'minin wa al-mu'minat

And forgive me and both of them and the believing men and the believing women

وَ الْاِخْوَۃِ وَ الْاَخَوَاتِ وَ الْقَرَابَاتِ

Wa al-ikhwa wa al-akhawat wa al-qarabat

And the brothers and the sisters and the near ones

يَا وَلِيَّ الْبَرَکَاتِ وَ عَالِمُ الْخَفِيَّاتِ

Ya wali al-barakat wa alim al-khafiyat

O the Owner of the blessings and Knower of the concealed

Ziyarat Imam Ali(as)and Syeda Fatma(sa) for Sunday

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَىٰ ٱلشَّجَرَةِ ٱلنَّبَوِيَّةِ

alssalamu ʿala alshshajarati alnnabawiyyati

Peace be upon the Prophetic Tree

وَٱلدَّوْحَةِ ٱلْهَاشِمِيَّةِ ٱلْمُضيئَةِ

walddawhati alhashimiyyati almudi'ati

and the Hashemite plant that is luminous,

ٱلْمُثْمِرَةِ بِٱلنَّبُوَّةِ

almuthmirati bilnnubuwwati

fruitful of Prophethood,

ٱلْمُونِقَةِ بِٱلإِمَامَةِ

almuniqati bil-imamati

and elegant with Imamate.

وَعَلىٰ ضَجِيعَيْكَ آدَمَ وَنُوحٍ

wa ʿala dajiʿayka adama wa nuhin

And [peace be] upon your two grave-fellows; Adam and Noah,

عَلَيْهِمَا ٱلسَّلاَمُ

ʿalayhima alssalamu

peace be upon both of them.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَىٰ أَهْلِ بَيْتِكَ

alssalamu ʿalayka wa ʿala ahli baytika

Peace be upon you and upon your Household,

ٱلطَّيِّبِينَ ٱلطَّاهِرِينَ

alttayyibina alttahirina

the pure and immaculate.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَىٰ ٱلْمَلاَئِكَةِ ٱلْمُحْدِقِينَ بِكَ

alssalamu ʿalayka wa ʿala almala'ikati almuhdiqina bika

Peace be upon you and upon the angels surrounding you

وَٱلْحَافِّينَ بِقَبْرِكَ

walhaffina biqabrika

and encompassing your tomb.

يَا مَوْلاَيَ يَا أَمِيرَ ٱلْمُوْمِنينَ

ya mawlaya ya amira almu'minina

O my master, O Commander of the Believers!

هٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلأَحَدِ

hadha yawmu al-ahadi

Today is Sunday,

وَهُوَ يَوْمُكَ وَبِٱسْمِكَ

wa huwa yawmuka wa bismika

which is your day and carrying your name,

وَأَنَا ضَيْفُكَ فِيهِ وَجَارُكَ

wa ana dayfuka fihi wa jaruka

and, on this day, I am your guest and in your vicinity;

فَأَضِفْنِي يَا مَوْلاَيَ وَ أَجِرْنِي

fa-adifni ya mawlaya wa ajirni

therefore, my master, receive me as your guest and neighbor.

فَإنَّكَ كَرِيمٌ تُحِبُّ ٱلضِّيَافَةَ

fa'innaka karimun tuhibbu alddiyafata

Surely, you are generous and hospitable

وَمَاْمُورٌ بِٱلإجَارَةِ

wa ma'murun bil-ijarati

and you are commanded to treat your neighbors hospitably.

فَٱفْعَلْ مَا رَغِبْتُ إِلَيْكَ فِيهِ

fafʿal ma raghibtu ilayka fihi

So, (please) do to me that which I desire from you

وَرَجَوْتُهُ مِنْكَ

wa rajawtuhu minka

and I hope you to do,

بِمَنْزِلَتِكَ وَآلِ بَيْتِكَ عِنْدَ ٱللَّهِ

bimanzilatika wa ali baytika ʿinda allahi

[I ask you] in the name of your and your Household's standing with Allah

وَمَنْزِلَتِهِ عِنْدَكُمْ

wa manzilatihi ʿindakum

and His standing with you all,

وَبِحَقِّ ٱبْنِ عَمِّكَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ

wa bihaqqi ibni ʿammika rasuli allahi

and in the name of your cousin, Allah's Messenger,

صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ

salla allahu ʿalayhi wa alihi wa sallama

may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him

وَعَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعينَ

wa ʿalayhim ajmaʿina

and upon them all.

Ziyarat Syeda Fatima(sa)

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ يَا مُمْتَحَنَةُ

alssalamu ʿalayki ya mumtahanatu

Peace be upon you, O examined lady.

اِمْتَحَنَكِ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَكِ

imtahanaki alladhi khalaqaki

He Who created you has examined you

فَوَجَدَكِ لِمَا ٱمْتَحَنَكِ صَابِرَةً

fawajadaki lima imtahanaki sabiratan

and found that you have passed the examination patiently.

أَنَا لَكِ مُصَدِّقٌ صَابِرٌ عَلَىٰ مَا أَتَىٰ بِهِ أَبُوكِ وَوَصِيُّهُ صَلَوَاتُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمَا

ana laki musaddiqun sabirun ʿala ma ata bihi abuki wa wasiyyuhu salawatu allahi ʿalayhima

I verify that you were patient about what came upon your father and his his successor peace be upon both of

وَأَنَا أَسْأَلُكِ إِنْ كُنْتُ صَدَّقْتُكِ

wa ana as'aluki in kuntu saddaqtuki

I now beseech you by my belief in you

إِلاَّ أَلْحَقْتِنِي بِتَصْدِيقِي لَهُمَا

illa alhaqtini bitasdiqi lahuma

to attach & associate me with my belief in both of them

لِتُسَرَّ نَفْسِي

litusarra nafsi

so that I will be delighted.

فَٱشْهَدِي أَنِّي ظَاهِرٌ بِوَلاَيَتِكِ

fash-hadi anni zahirun biwilayatiki

So, testify for me that I am totally loyal to you

وَوَلاَيَةِ آلِ بَيْتِكِ

wa wilayati ali baytiki

and to your Household;

صَلَوَاتُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعينَ

salawatu allahi ʿalayhim ajmaʿina

peace of Allah be upon them all.

Ziarat second Version

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ يَا مُمْتَحَنَةُ امْتَحَنَكِ الَّذِي خَلَقَكِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَخْلُقَكِ وَ كُنْتِ لِمَا امْتَحَنَكِ بِهِ صَابِرَةً

Peace be on you, O the carefully examined, tried and measured by Him who created you, and found you, in your test, cool and compact, steady and stable.

وَ نَحْنُ لَكِ أَوْلِيَاءُ مُصَدِّقُونَ وَ لِكُلِّ مَا أَتَى بِهِ أَبُوكِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ وَ سَلَّمَ

We tell the truth about you; calm and quiet, with self control and composure (you) put up with all that which your father blessings of Allah be on him and on his family

وَ أَتَى بِهِ وَصِيُّهُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ مُسَلِّمُونَ

and his "Wasi" (successor) peace be on him came across.

وَ نَحْنُ نَسْأَلُكَ اللَّهُمَّ إِذْ كُنَّا مُصَدِّقِينَ لَهُمْ أَنْ تُلْحِقَنَا بِتَصْدِيقِنَا بِالدَّرَجَةِ الْعَالِيَةِ

We beseech you, (If I have stated the truth), to bind us together with the testimony, concerning both of them, in order to give joy and satisfaction to my heart and soul.

لِنُبَشِّرَ أَنْفُسَنَا بِأَنَّا قَدْ طَهُرْنَا بِوِلاَيَتِهِمْ (بِوَلاَيَتِهِمْ) عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلاَمُ

So bear witness that truly I, by heart, made evident your, and your children's "wilayat" (superintendent guardianship), blessings of Allah be on them all

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

سُبْحَانَ مَنْ مَلَأَ الدَّهْرَ قُدْسُهُ

Glory be to him, who fulfilled the time with his holiness.

سُبْحَانَ مَنْ يَغْشَى الْأَبَدَ نُورُهُ

Glory be to him, who his light covers the unlimited times.

سُبْحَانَ مَنْ أَشْرَقَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ ضَوْؤُهُ

Glory be to you who his light shines upon everything.

سُبْحَانَ مَنْ يُدَانُ بِدِينِهِ كُلُّ دِينٍ وَ لَا يُدَانُ بِغَيْرِ دِينِهِ

Glory be to him who every religion has admitted to his religion and do not admit to others.

سُبْحَانَ مَنْ قَدَرَ بِقُدْرَتِهِ كُلَّ قَدَرٍ وَ لَا يَقْدِرُ أَحَدٌ قَدْرَهُ

Glory be to him who decreed with his power every fate, and no one can decree his fate.

سُبْحَانَ مَنْ لَا يُوصَفُ عِلْمُهُ

Glory be to him who; His knowledge can not be described.

سُبْحَانَ مَنْ لَا يَعْتَدِي عَلَى أَهْلِ مَمْلَكَتِهِ

Glory be to Him Who does not transgress against the inhabitants of his Kingdom!

سُبْحَانَ مَنْ لَا يَأْخُذُ أَهْلَ الْأَرْضِ بِأَلْوَانِ الْعَذَابِ

Glory be to him who does not chastise the people of the earth with various punishments.

سُبْحَانَ الرَّءُوفِ الرَّحِيمِ

Glory be to Him who is kind and Merciful.

سُبْحَانَ مَنْ هُوَ مُطَّلِعٌ عَلَى خَزَائِنِ الْقُلُوبِ

Glory be to him who is aware of the hearts' treasuries.

سُبْحَانَ مَنْ يُحْصِي عَدَدَ الذُّنُوبِ

Glory be to Him Who knows the exact count of the sins!

سُبْحَانَ مَنْ لَا تَخْفَى عَلَيْهِ خَافِيَةٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَ لَا فِي السَّمَاءِ

Glory be to him who does not deceive those who do everything in secret, in earth or heavens.

سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْوَدُودِ

Glory be to the Loving Lord!

سُبْحَانَ الْفَرْدِ الْوَتْرِ

Glory be to the Unique Single!

سُبْحَانَ الْعَظِيمِ الْأَعْظَمِ

Glory be to the Greatest Great!

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

اللهُ أَ كْبَرُ اللهُ أَ كْبَرُ اسْتَوَى الرَّبُّ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ

Allah is the Most Great, Allah is the Most great, The Lord sat on the Throne,

وَ قَامَتِ السَّمَاوَاتُ وَ الْأَرْضُ بِحِكْمَتِهِ

and His Command established the heavens and the earth.

وَ زَهَرَتِ النُّجُومُ بِأَمْرِهِ وَ رَسَتِ الْجِبَالُ بِإِذْنِهِ

The stars were stilled, and the mountains were fixed firmly by His permission.

لَا يُجَاوِزُ اسْمُهُ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ

His name does not pass by those in the heavens and the earth.

الَّذِي دَانَتْ لَهُ الْجِبَالُ وَ هِيَ طَائِعَةٌ

The mountains draw near Him, obedient,

وَ انْبَعَثَتْ لَهُ الْأَجْسَادُ وَ هِيَ بَالِيَةٌ

and the bodies are resurrected for Him when they are rotten.

وَ بِهِ أَحْتَجِبُ [احْتَجَبْتُ] بِاللهِ الَّذِي عَنْ كُلِّ غَاوٍ وَ بَاغٍ وَ طَاغٍ وَ جَبَّارٍ وَ حَاسِدٍ

Veil every harmful thing and envious One by the Might of Allah from so-and-so, son of so-and-so,

وَ بِاسْمِ اللهِ الَّذِي جَعَلَ بِهِ بَيْنَ الْبَحْرَيْنِ

by the One who placed a partition between the two seas;

[حاجِزاً وَ أَحْتَجِبُ [احْتَجَبْتُ بِاللهِ الَّذِي جَعَلَ فِي السَّماءِ بُرُوجاً

and set in heaven constellations,

وَ جَعَلَ فِيها سِراجاً وَ قَمَراً مُنِيراً

and set a lamp and an illuminating moon among them.

وَ زَيَّنَهَا لِلنَّاظِرِينَ وَ حَفِظَهَا مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطانٍ رَجِيمٍ

I seek protection for him in the One who decked them out fair to the beholders and guarded them against every accursed demon.

وَ جَعَلَ فِي الْأَرْضِ رَوَاسِيَ جِبِالًا أَوْتَاداً

I seek protection for him in the One who set firm mountains and pegs in the earth,

أَنْ يُوصَلَ إِلَيَّ سُوءٌ أَوْ فَاحِشَةٌ أَوْ بَلِيَّةٌ

lest evil, indecency, or affliction should get to him.

حم تَنْزِيلٌ مِنَ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ

'Ha Mim' a revelation from the Merciful, the Compassionate

عسق كَذلِكَ يُوحِي إِلَيْكَ وَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ

So reveals to You, and those before You,

اللهُ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ

God, the All-mighty, the All-wise.

وَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ سَلَّمَ تَسْلِيماً

Blessings of Allah upon Muhammad, the Prophet, and his family.

SALAATSPrayer for Sunday 1It is mentioned in traditions that on Sunday when sun has reached some height (late morning) one should pray two rakat prayers. In the first rakat after Surah Hamd recite Surah Kauther thrice and in the second rakat after Surah Hamd recite Surah Tawheed thrice. If one recites this prayer he is free from hellfire and purified of hypocrisy. There is great reward for this prayer.Prayer for Sunday 2It is narrated from the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a.) that one who offers four rakats prayer on Sunday, and in each rakat after Surah Hamd recites Surah Mulk once the Almighty will give him a place of his choice in Paradise.Prayer for Sunday Evening ( night preceeding monday)It has come in traditions that one should recite six rakats prayers on Sunday eve and in each rakat after Surah Hamd he should recite Surah Tawheed seven times. There is inestimable reward for this prayer.

SALAATSPrayer for Sunday 1

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

سُبْحَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ

All praise be to You, our Lord; to You belong the praise.

أَنْتَ اللهُ الْقَائِمُ عَلَى عَرْشِكَ

You are Allah, the bearer of Your Throne forever.

أَبَداً أَحَاطَ بَصَرُكَ بِجَمِيعِ الْخَلْقِ

You have encompassed the perceptiveness of every creature.

وَ الْخَلْقُ كُلُّهُمْ عَلَى الْفَنَاءِ

And all creatures are upon annihilation;

وَ أَنْتَ الْبَاقِي الْكَرِيمُ الْقَائِمُ الدَّائِمُ بَعْدَ فَنَاءِ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ

You are the Eternal, the All generous, the Existing, and the Everlasting, which subsists after annihilating all things.

الْحَيُّ الَّذِي لَا يَمُوتُ بِيَدِكَ مَلَكُوتُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ وَ دَهْرُ الدَّاهِرِينَ

The Everlasting Whom shall not perish; The One in Whose control is the kingdom of the heavens and earth eternally.

أَنْتَ الَّذِي قَصَمْتَ بِصَوْتِكَ الْجَبَّارِينَ

You are the one who demolished the unjust ones by Your voice!

وَ أَضَفْتَ فِي قَبْضَتِكَ الْأَرَضِينَ

Added the earth in Your grasp

وَ أَغْشَيْتَ بِضَوْءِ نُورِكَ النَّاظِرِينَ

and covered with Your illumination light beholders' eyes.

وَ أَشْبَعْتَ بِفَضْلِ رِزْقِكَ الْآكِلِينَ

You fulfilled by Your favor; livelihood the eaters

وَ عَلَوْتَ بِعَرْشِكَ عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ

and elevated Your throne upon worlds.

وَ أَعْمَرْتَ سَمَاوَاتِكَ بِالْمَلَائِكَةِ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ

You made the heavens inhabited by The nearest angels

وَ عَلَّمْتَ تَسْبِيحَكَ الْأَوَّلِينَ وَ الْآخِرِينَ

and teach Your glorifying; for the early generations and last.

وَ انْقَادَتْ لَكَ الدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةُ بِأِزمَّتِهَا

The here and hereafter submitted its leashes for You,

[ وَ حَفِظْتَ السَّمَاوَاتِ [وَ الْأَرْضَ

kept the heavens and earth keys,

وَ الْأَرَضِينَ بِمَقَالِيدِهَا وَ أَذْعَنَتْ لَكَ بِالطَّاعَةِ

and submitted to You with obeying with things above it too!

وَ مِنْ فَوْقِهَا وَ أَبَتْ حَمْلَ الْأَمَانَةِ مِنْ شَفَقَتِهَا

And refused to bear the Trust out of the compassion,

وَ قَامَتْ بِكَلِمَاتِكَ فِي قَرَارِهَا

and stood solid with Your words

وَ اسْتَقَامَ الْبَحْرَانِ مَكَانَهُمَا

and the seas sat straight on its places.

وَ اخْتَلَفَ اللَّيْلُ وَ النَّهَارُ كَمَا أَمَرْتَهُمَا

The night and day opposed each other as You commanded them

وَ أَحْصَيْتَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ فِيهِمَا عَدَداً

and You who has counted in it everything in numbers.

وَ أَحَطْتَ بِهِمَا عِلْماً خَالِقَ الْخَلْقِ

And You encompassed it with knowledge, the Creator of creatures;

وَ مُصْطَفِيَهُ وَ مُهَيْمِنَهُ وَ مُنْشِيَهً [وَ بَارِيَهُ] وَ ذَارِيَهُ

who are chosen one, ruling upon, thems Creator and strew,

كُنْتَ وَحْدَكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ إِلَهاً

You were and only You without a partner.

وَاحِداً وَ كَانَ عَرْشُكَ عَلَى الْمَاءِ

One God and Your throne were above the water

مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ تَكُونَ أَرْضٌ وَ لَا سَمَاءٌ

before the being of the earth, heavens,

أَوْ شَيْءٌ مِمَّا خَلَقْتَ فِيهَا

or anything out of your creation!

بِعِزَّتِكَ كُنْتَ قَدِيماً بَدِيعاً مُبْتَدِعاً كَيْنُوناً

By Your might, You were the sempiternal, splendid, creative entity,

كَائِناً مُكَوِّناً كَمَا سَمَّيْتَ نَفْسَكَ ابْتَدَعْتَ

exists and Creator as You named Yourself!

الْخَلْقَ بِعَظَمَتِكَ وَ دَبَّرْتَ أُمُورَهُمْ بِعِلْمِكَ

You originated the creation with Your mightiness and governed their matters with Your knowledge.

فَكَانَ عَظِيمُ مَا ابْتَدَعْتَ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ

Therefore the greatness of Your creation

وَ قَدَرْتَ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَمْرِكَ عَلَيْكَ

and Your ability is from Your command upon them;

هَيِّناً يَسِيراً لَمْ يَكُنْ لَكَ ظَهِيرٌ عَلَى خَلْقِكَ

easy and gradual! You didn't need an aid upon Your creation,

وَ لَا مُعِينٌ عَلَى حِفْظِكَ وَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ فِي مُلْكِكَ

no help on Your custody, no partner in Your kingdom,

وَ كُنْتَ رَبَّنَا تَبَارَكَتْ أَسْمَاؤُكَ

and You were our God; glorified are your names

وَ جَلَّ ثَنَاؤُكَ عَلَى ذَلِكَ عَلِيّاً غَنِيّاً

and splendid be the praising of You upon this the highest and free of need!

فَإِنَّمَا أَمَرَكَ لِشَيْءٍ إِذَا أَرَدْتَهُ

Indeed; so Your order to something you want

أَنْ تَقُولَ لَهُ كُنْ فَيَكُونُ

is only that You say to it, "Be," and it is;

لَا يُخَالِفُ شَيْءٌ مِنْهُ مَحَبَّتَكَ فَسُبْحَانَكَ

none of would contradict your love! So; Glory be to You

وَ بِحَمْدِكَ وَ تَبَارَكْتَ رَبَّنَا وَ جَلَّ ثَنَاؤُكَ

and praise, blessed You are our God, splendid be the praising of You

وَ تَعَالَيْتَ عَلَى ذَلِكَ عُلُوّاً كَبِيراً

and exalted high indeed above all that!

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدِكَ وَ رَسُولِكَ

O Allah, (please do) send blessings upon Muhammad, Your servant

وَ نَبِيِّكَ وَ عَلَى أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ

and Messenger, Your Prophet and His Household.

كَمَا سَبَقَتْ إِلَيْنَا بِهِ رَحْمَتُكَ

As; You surpassed to us by him Your mercy,

وَ قَرُبَ إِلَيْنَا بِهِ هُدَاكَ وَ أَوْرَثْتَنَا بِهِ كِتَابَكَ

lead on us by him Your guidance, inherited us by him Your Book

وَ دَلَلْتَنَا بِهِ عَلَى طَاعَتِكَ

and directed us by him on Your obeying!

فَأَصْبَحْنَا مُبْصِرِينَ بِنُورِ الْهُدَى الَّذِي جَاءَ بِهِ

So we become subtle upon the light of guidance that he bought to us,

ظَاهِرِين بِعِزِّ الدِّينِ الَّذِي دَعَا إِلَيْهِ

standing by the superiority of the religion that he invited to

نَاجِينَ بِحُجَجِ الْكِتَابِ الَّذِي نَزَلَ عَلَيْهِ

and rescued by The Book (Quran) proofs revealed upon him.

اللَّهُمَّ فَآثَرَهُ بِقُرْبِ الْمَجْلِسِ مِنْكَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

O, Lord, so favor him with the nearest place beside You on the Day of Resurrection!

وَ أَكْرَمَهُ بِتَمْكِينِ الشَّفَاعَاتِ عِنْدَكَ

Dignify him with the accepted enablement intercession to You;

تَفْضِيلًا مِنْكَ لَهُ عَلَى الْفَاضِلِينَ

excellence from You upon the righteousness

وَ تَشْرِيفاً مِنْكَ لَهُ عَلَى الْمُتَّقِينَ

and solemnity from You upon the god-fearing!

اللَّهُمَّ وَ امْنَحْنَا مِنْ شَفَاعَتِهِ نَصِيباً نَرِدُ بِهِ

O, Lord, grant us from his intercession a share that; will acquaint us

مَعَ الصَّادِقِينَ جِنَانَهُ وَ نَنْزِلُ بِهِ مَعَ الْآمِنِينَ

with the sincere to His heavens and with the secure in His spacious gardens;

فُسْحَةَ رِيَاضِهِ غَيْرَ مَرْفُوضِينَ عَنْ دَعْوَتِهِ

Not dismissed from his invite,

وَ لَا مَرْدُودِينَ عَنْ سَبِيلِ مَا بَعَثْتَهُ بِهِ

apostate from the way that You sent him with,

وَ لَا مَحْجُوبَةٍ عَنَّا مُرَافَقَتُهُ وَ لَا مَحْظُورَةٍ عَنَّا دَارُهُ

his company is veiled nor forbidden his home on us,

آمِينَ إِلَهَ الْحَقِّ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ

may it be so, O, Allah of Truth; Lord of the worlds!

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

O, Allah, (please do) send blessings upon Muhammad and His Household,

وَ أَسْأَلُكَ بِاسْمِكَ الْعَظِيمِ الَّذِي

O, Allah! I beseech You through Your great Name;

لَا يَعْلَمُهُ أَحَدٌ غَيْرُكَ

that is not known to anybody except you,

وَ الَّذِي سَخَّرْتَ بِهِ اللَّيْلَ وَ النَّهَارَ

which subdued with the night and day,

وَ أَجْرَيْتَ بِهِ الشَّمْسَ وَ الْقَمَرَ وَ النُّجُومَ

which moved smoothly by it the sun, moon, and stars,

وَ بِهِ أَنْشَأْتَ السَّحَابَ وَ الْمَطَرَ وَ الرِّيَاحَ

by which the clouds, rain, and the wind is done,

وَ الَّذِي بِهِ تُنَزْلُ الْغَيْثَ وَ تَذْرَأُ الْمَرْعَى

by that which You make the rainfall and multiply the pasture;

وَ تُحْيِي الْعِظامَ وَ هِيَ رَمِيمٌ

enliven the bones when they are decayed,

وَ الَّذِي بِهِ تَرْزُقُ مَنْ فِي الْبَرِّ وَ الْبَحْرِ

by that which You endow who are in lands and seas;

وَ تَكْلَؤُهُمْ [وَ تَرْعَاهُمْ] وَ تَحْفَظُهُمْ

look after (safeguard) and protect them,

وَ الَّذِي هُوَ فِي التَّوْرَاةِ وَ الْإِنْجِيلِ وَ الزَّبُورِ

by the Taurat, Injeel, Zabur,

وَ الْقُرْآنِ الْعَظِيمِ وَ الَّذِي فَلَقْتَ بِهِ الْبَحْرَ لِمُوسَى

and the Holy Quran where it is in, You caused the sea to cleave asunder for Moses

وَ أَسْرَيْتَ بِمُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ

and the midnight journey to the seven heavens by Muhammed; God bless him and his Household.

وَ بِكُلِّ اسْمٍ لَكَ مَخْزُونٍ وَ مَكْنُونٍ

And by every name that is saved and well protected,

وَ بِكُلِّ اسْمٍ دَعَاكَ بِهِ مَلَكٌ مُقَرَّبٌ

by everyone who did beseech You by your name; every brought near angels

أَوْ نَبِيٌّ مُرْسَلٌ أَوْ عَبْدٌ مُصْطَفًى

or sent Prophet or chosen servant.

أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

Do send Your blessings upon Mohammad and His Household,

وَ أَنْ تَجْعَلَ رَاحَتِي فِي لِقَائِكَ

make my relief in Your meeting,

وَ خَاتِمَ عَمَلِي فِي سَبِيلِكَ وَ حَجَّ بَيْتِكَ الْحَرَامِ

the seal for my deeds is toward You, the grace of pilgrimage to Your Holy House,

وَ اخْتِلَافٍ إِلَى مَسَاجِدِكَ وَ مَجَالِسِ الذِّكْرِ

follow Your mosques and gatherings in which Allah's name is being invoked,

وَ اجْعَلْ خَيْرَ أَيَّامِي يَوْمَ أَلْقَاكَ

and make my best day is Your meeting day!

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

O Allah, send Your blessings upon Muhammad, and His Household

وَ احْفَظْنِي مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيَّ وَ مِنْ خَلْفِي

protects me; before and behind me,

وَ عَنْ يَمِينِي وَ عَنْ شِمَالِي وَ مِنْ فَوْقِي وَ مِنْ تَحْتِي

my right and left, above and below;

أَسْفَلَ مِنِّي وَ احْفَظْنِي مِنَ السَّيِّئَاتِ

beneath me! Protect me from the sins,

وَ مَحَارِمِكَ كُلِّهَا

and your all forbidden.

وَ مَكِّنْ لِي فِي دِينِي الَّذِي ارْتَضَيْتَ لِي

And strength in my religion what You; accepted for me,

[ وَ فَهِّمْنِي فِيهِ وَ اجْعَلْهُ لِي نُوراً [وَ بِشْراً

apprehend me in it, make it a light (good omen)

وَ يَسِّرْ لِيَ الْيُسْرَ وَ الْعَافِيَةَ وَ اعْزِمْ عَلَى رُشْدِي

and ease for me the solvency and well-being.

كَمَا عَزَمْتَ عَلَى خَلْقِي وَ أَعِنِّي عَلَى نَفْسِي بِبِرٍّ

Determine my consciousness; as You determined my creation. Help me against myself with;

وَ تَقْوَى وَ عَمَلٍ رَاجِحٍ وَ بَيْعٍ رَابِحٍ

God-fearing, faithfulness, accepted deed, gainer selling,

وَ تِجَارَةٍ لَنْ تَبُورَ

and commerce that comes not to naught.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْجَنَّةَ وَ مَا قَرُبَ إِلَيْهَا مِنْ قَوْلٍ أَوْ عَمَلٍ

O, Allah, I beseech You for heaven, and what a saying or work can make me near to it.

وَ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ خَوْنِ الْأَمَانَةِ

I seek refuge in You from; betraying the Trust,

وَ أَكْلِ أَمْوَالِ النَّاسِ بِالْبَاطِلِ

devouring others property unjustly,

وَ مِنَ التَّزَيُّنِ بِمَا لَيْسَ فِيَّ

refinding myself with what I don't own,

وَ مِنَ الْآثَامِ وَ الْبَغْيِ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ وَ أَنْ أُشْرِكَ بِكَ

sins and tyranny without righteousness, and associate with You;

مَا لَمْ تُنَزِّلْ بِهِ سُلْطَاناً

whom You didn't consider a dominion!

وَ أَجِرْنِي مِنْ مَضَلَّاتِ الْفِتَنِ ما ظَهَرَ مِنْها

Please take me away from mischief and deviations,

وَ ما بَطَنَ وَ مِنْ مُحِيطَاتِ الْخَطَايَا

whether open or secret, and the enormous sins!

وَ نَجِّنِي مِنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ

Rescue me from the darkness to the light.

وَ اهْدِنِي سَبِيلَ الْإِسْلَامِ وَ اكْسُنِي حُلَلَ الْإِيمَانِ

Guide me to the Islam path, drape us with robes of faithfulness,

وَ أَلْبِسْنِي لِبَاسَ التَّقْوَى

veil us with apparel of piety,

وَ اسْتُرْنِي بِسِتْرٍ الصَّالِحِينَ

shield me with the righteous shield,

وَ زَيِّنِّي بِزِينَةِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

beautify me with the believers' ornament,

وَ ثَقِّلْ عَمَلِي فِي الْمِيزَانِ

load the balance with my deeds,

وَ أَلْقِنِي مِنْكَ بِرَوْحٍ وَ رَيْحَانٍ

and meet me with Thy spirit and pleasant.

آمِينَ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ

May it be so, O Lord of the worlds,

وَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ وَ سَلَّمَ تَسْلِيماً

and blessings of Allah upon Muhammed and His Household and give them abundant peace!
