Thursday Rites. — 4th Imam dua — Sy.Fatima(sa)dua — Imam Ali(as)dua — Ziyarat — Tasbih — Salats — Afternoon — Night

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

bismillahi alrrahmani alrrahimi

In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي أَذْهَبَ ٱللَّيْلَ مُظْلِماً بِقُدْرَتِهِ

alhamdu lillahi alladhi adh-haba allayla muzliman biqudratihi

All praise be to Allah Who has taken away the shadowy night by His power

وَجَاءَ بِٱلنَّهَارِ مُبْصِراً بِرَحْمَتِهِ

wa ja'a bilnnahari mubsiran birahmatihi

and brought the sight-giving day through His mercy.

وَكَسَانِي ضِيَاءَهُ وَآتَانِي نِعْمَتَهُ

wa kasani diya'ahu wa atani niʿmatahu

He has clothed me in its brightness and given me its favor.

اللَّهُمَّ فَكَمَا أَبْقَيْتَنِي لَهُ فَ أَبْقِنِي لأَمْثَالِهِ

allahumma fakama abqaytani lahu fa-abqini li-amthalihi

O Allah, just as You have spared me for this day, so also spare me for its likes,

وَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ ٱلنَّبِيِّ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ

wa salli ʿala alnnabiyyi muhammadin wa alihi

bless the Prophet Muhammad and his Household,

وَلاَ تَفْجَعْنِي فِيهِ وَفِي غَيْرِهِ

wa la tafjaʿni fihi wa fi ghayrihi

torment me not in it and in other

مِنَ ٱللَّيَالِي وَٱلأَيَّامِ

min allayali wal-ayyami

nights and days

بِٱرْتِكَابِ ٱلْمَحَارِمِ

birtikabi almaharimi

by my commitment of unlawful acts

وَٱكْتِسَابِ ٱلْمَآثِمِ

waktisabi alma'athimi

and clothing myself in sins;

وَٱرْزُقْنِي خَيْرَهُ

warzuqni khayrahu

provide me with its good,

وَخَيْرَ مَا فِيهِ

wa khayra ma fihi

the good of all within it,

وَخَيْرَ مَا بَعْدَهُ

wa khayra ma baʿdahu

and the good of everything after it;

وَٱصْرِفْ عَنِّي شَرَّهُ

wasrif ʿanni sharrahu

and turn away from me its evil,

وَشَرَّ مَا فِيهِ

wa sharra ma fihi

the evil of all within it,

وَشَرَّ مَا بَعْدَهُ

wa sharra ma baʿdahu

and the evil of everything after it!

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي بِذِمَّةِ ٱلإِسْلامِ أَتَوَسَّلُ إِلَيْكَ

allahumma inni bidhimmati al-islami atawassalu ilayka

O Allah, by the protective compact of Islam, I seek mediation with You!

وَبِحُرْمَةِ ٱلْقُرآنِ أَعْتَمِدُ عَلَيْكَ

wabihurmati alqur'ani aʿtamidu ʿalayka

By the inviolability of the Qur'an, I rely upon You!

وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ ٱلْمُصْطَفَىٰ

wa bimuhammadin almustafa

By Muhammad the chosen,

صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْه وَآلِهِ

salla allahu ʿalayhi wa alihi

Allah bless him and his Household,

أَسْتَشْفِعُ لَدَيْكَ

astashfiʿu ladayka

I seek intercession with You.

فَٱعْرِفِ ٱللَّهُمَّ ذِمَّتِي

faʿrif allahumma dhimmati

So, recognize my protective compact

ٱلَّتِي رَجَوْتُ بِهَا قَضَاءَ حَاجَتِي

allati rajawtu biha qada'a hajati

by which I hope my need will be granted,

يَا أَرْحَمَ ٱلرَّاحِمِينَ

ya arhama arrahimina

O Most Merciful of all those who show mercy!

اَللَّهُمَّ ٱقْضِ لِي فِي ٱلْخَمِيسِ خَمْساً

allahumma iqdi li fi alkhamisi khamsan

O Allah, decree for me on Thursday five things,

لاَ يَتَّسِعُ لَهَا إِلاَّ كَرَمُكَ

la yattasiʿu laha illa karamuka

which none embraces but Your generosity

وَلاَ يُطِيقُهَا إِلاَّ نِعَمُكَ

wa la yutiquha illa niʿamuka

and none supports but Your favors:

سَلامَةً أَقْوَىٰ بِهَا عَلَىٰ طَاعَتِكَ

salamatan aqwa biha ʿala taʿatika

health through which I may have the strength to obey You,

وَعِبَادَةً أَسْتَحِقُّ بِهَا جَزِيلَ مَثُوبَتِكَ

wa ʿibadatan astahiqqu biha jazila mathubatika

worship by which I may deserve Your plentiful reward,

وَسَعَةً فِي ٱلْحَالِ مِنَ ٱلرِّزْقِ ٱلْحَلالِ

wa saʿatan fi alhali min alrrizqi alhalali

plenty in my state through lawful provision,

وَ أَنْ تُؤْمِنَنِي فِي مَوَاقِفِ ٱلْخَوْفِ بِأَمْنِكَ

wa an tu'minani fi mawaqifi alkhawfi bi-amnika

and that You make me secure in the places of fear through Your security,

وَتَجْعَلَنِي مِنْ طَوَارِقِ ٱلْهُمُومِ وَٱلْغُمُومِ فِي حِصْنِكَ

wa tajʿalani min tawariqi alhumumi walghumumi fi hisnika

and place me in Your fortress against the striking of worries and sorrows!

صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ

salli ‘ala muhammadin wa alihi

Bless Muhammad and his Household,

وَٱجْعَلْ تَوَسُّلِي بِهِ شَافِعاً

wajʿal tawassuli bihi shafiʿan

and make my seeking his mediation as an intercessor give profit

يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَامَةِ نَافِعاً

yawma alqiyamati nafiʿan

on the Day of Resurrection!

إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ أَرْحَمُ ٱلرَّاحِمِينَ

innaka anta arhamu arrahimina

Surely, You are the Most Merciful of all those who show mercy!

اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْاَلُكَ الْهُدٰى وَ التُّقٰى،

allaahumma innee as-alokal hodaa wat toqaa

O God, I ask You for guidance and piety,

وَ الْعَفَافَ وَ الْغِنٰى،

wal a’faafe wal ghenaa

and I am hopeful for chastity and needlessness.

وَ الْعَمَلَ بِمَا تُحِبُّ وَ تَرْضٰى،

wal a’mala bemaa tohibbo wa tarzaa,

And I seek every that act, which is liked and approved by You

اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْاَلُكَ مِنْ قُوَّتِكَ لِضَعْفِنَا،

allaahumma innee as-aloka min quwwateka le-za’fenaa

O God, I ask You from your strength for our weakness

وَ مِنْ غِنَاكَ لِفَقْرِنَا وَ فَاقَتِنَا،

wa min ghenaaka le-faqrenaa wa faaqatenaa,

and your needlessness for our poverty and hunger

وَ مِنْ حِلْمِكَ وَ عِلْمِكَ لِجَهْلِنَا

wa min hilmeka wa i’lmeka le-jahlenaa.

and your forbearance and knowledge for our ignorance.

اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ،

allaahumma salle a’laa mohammadin wa aale mohammadin

O Allah, bless Muhammad and the progeny of Muhammad

وَ اَعِنَّا عَلٰى شُكْرِكَ وَ ذِكْرِكَ وَ طَاعَتِكَ وَ عِبَادَتِكَ،

wa a-i’nnaa a’laa shukreka wa zikreka wa taa-a’teka wa e’baadateka,

and help us in your thankfulness and remembrance and obedience and worship

بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ.

be-rahmateka yaa arhamar raahemeen.

O the most merciful of the merciful ones.

بِسْمِ اﷲِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

In the name of Allah the Beneficent the Merciful.

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِيْ لَهٗ مِنْ کُلِّ نَفْسٍ مِنَ الْاَنْفَاسِ وَ خَطَرَۃٍ مِنَ الْخَطَرَاتِ مِنَّا مِنَنٌ لاَ تُحْصٰي

Praise is for Allah, His obligations are on our ingress and egress of breathing and all thoughts of mind are so much, that we can't count.

وَ فِيْ کُلِّ لَحْظَۃٍ مِنَ الَّلَحَظَاتِ نِعَمٌ لاَ تُنْسٰي وَ فِيْ کُلِّ حَالٍ مِنَ الْحَالاَتِ عَائِدَۃٌ لاَ تُخْفٰي وَ سُبْحَانَ اﷲِ الَّذِيْ يَقْهَرُ الْقَوِيَّ وَ يَنْصُرُ الضَّعِيْفَ وَ يَجْبُرُ الْکَسِيْرَ وَ يُغْنِيْ الْفَقِيْرَ وَ يَقْبَلُ الْيَسِيْرَ وَ يُعْطِيْ الْکَثِيْرَ وَ هُوَ عَلٰي کُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ

And His blessing in every moment that we can't forget and in every condition there is a benefit that is not secret. And He is Pure, He subdues the strong and helps the weak and makes the poor rich and accepts an ordinary deeds and bestows his numerous blessings . He has power over all things.

وَلاَ اِلٰهَ اِلاَّ اﷲُ اَلسَّابِغُ النِّعْمَۃِ الْبَالِغُ الْحِکْمَۃِ  اَلدَّامِغُ الْحُجَّۃِ اَلْوَاسِعِ الرَّحْمَۃِ الْمَانِحُ الْعِصْمَۃِ وَاﷲُ اَکْبَرُ  ذُوا السُّلْطَانِ الْمَنِيْعِ وَالْبُنْيَانِ الرَّفِيْعِ وَالْاِنْشَآءِ الْبَدِيْعِ وَالْحِسَابِ السَّرِيْعِ وَ صَلَّي اﷲُ عَلٰي مُحَمَّدٍ خَيْرِ النَّبِيِّيْنَ وَ اٰلِهِ الطَّاهِرِيْنَ وَ سَلَّمَ تَسْلِيْمًا

And there is no other god except Allah. His perfectness of blessings, correct wisdom , and incontrovertible arguments and gives security as Allah is Great.His kingdom is safe and its foundations are firm. His arrangement is incomparable His settlement of account is very swift. And from all of His prophets Mohammad (s.a.w.a.) is best. O Allah bestow Your blessings on Mohammad (s.a.w.a.) and his progeny

اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُکَ سُؤَالَ الْخَآئِفِ مِنْ وَقْفِهِ الْمَوْقَفِ الْوَجِلِ مِنَ الْعَرْضِ الْمُشْفِقِ مِنَ الْخَشْيَۃِ لِبَوَآئِقِ الْقِيٰمَۃِ الْمَاخُوْذِ عَلَي الْغِزَّۃِ النَّادِمِ عَلٰي خَطِيْئَتِهِ الْمَسْئُوْلِ الْمُحَاسَبِ الْمُثَابِ الْمُعَاقَبِ الَّذِيْ لَمْ يَکِنُّهٗ مُکَانٌ عَنْکَ وَلاَ وَجَدَ مَفَرًّا اِلاَّ اِلَيْکَ مُتَنَصِّلاً (١)

O My Lord! On the day of resurrection one who is frightened or trembled or terrified to be caught in resurrection day, or one who was proud and now felt ashamed and idolaters, afflicted in checking their accounts, terrified person pray to Allah.No shelter can hide him in this situation and no one can give them shelter except you.

مُلْتَجِاً مِنْ سَيِّئ عَمَلِهٖ مُقِرًّا بِعَظِيْمِ ذُنُوْبِهٖ قَدْ اَحَاطَتْ بِهِ الْهُمُوْمِ وَ ضَاقَتْ عَلَيْهِ رَحَآئِبُ التُّخُوْمِ مُوْقِنٌ بِالْمَوْتِ  مُبَادِرٍ بِالتَّوْبَۃٍ قَبْلَ الْفَوْتِ اِنْ مَنَنْتَ بِهَا عَلَيْهِ وَ عَفَوْتَ

He was repenting for his bad deeds and was confessing for his great sins. Sorrows arrest him or an expansion of earth which becomes narrow for him and he is assured of his death and makes haste to repent before his death If you do Your favour on him and forgive

فَاَنْتَ اِلٰهِيْ رَجَآئِيْ اِذَا ضَاقَ عَنِّيْ الرَّجَآءُ وَ مَلْجَآئِيْ اِذْ لَمْ اَجِدْ فِنَآئً لِلْاِلْتِجَآءِ تَوَحَّدْتَ سَيِّدِيْ بِالْعِزِّ وَالْعُلَآءِ وَ تَفَرَّدْتَ بِالْوَحْدَانِيَّۃِ وَ الْبَقَآءِ فَاَنْتَ الْمُتَعَزِّزُ الْمُتَفَرِّدُ بِالْمَجْدِ فَلَکَ

then O my Lord! That time you are my wish, when my desires die, You are my shelter when I do not find any shelter. O my Lord, You are one and alone in faith and greatness and in Oneness. You are great in grandeur and magnificence.

رَبِّيَ الْحَمْدُ لاَ يُوَارِيْ مِنْکَ مَکَانٌ وَّ لاَ يُغَيِّرُکَ دَهْرٌ وَلاَ زَمَانٌ اَلَّفْتَ بِقُدْرَتِکَ الْفِرَقَ وَ فَلَقْتَ بِقُدْرَتِکَ الْفَلْقَ وَ اَنْئَيْتَ بِکَرَمِکَ دَيَاجِيْ الَغَسَقِ وَ اَجْرَيْتَ مِنَ الصُّمِّ الصَّيَاخِيْدِ عَذْبًا وَ فُرَاتًا وَ اَهْمَرْتَ مِنَ الْمُعْصِرَاتِ مَآئً ثَجَّاجًا وَ جَعَلْتَ الشَّمْسَ لِلْبَرِيَّۃِ سِرَاجًا وَّهَّاجًا وَ الْقَمَرَ وَالنَّجُوْمَ اِبْرَاجًا مِنْ غَيْرِ اَنْ تُمَارِسَ فِيْمَا ابْتَدَأْتَ لُغُوْبًا وَلاَ عِلاَجًا

O my Lord, all praise is for You. No shelter can hide You. No time or circumstance can change you, You have created various things together in one place and created the light of dawn and avert the darkness of night and makes sweet and pure streams. How from the hand rocks and flows cold shower from the clouds and makes the Sun shine like a lamp and makes the moon and the stars like the towers of light for the world and created the things in very beginning without any effort or without taking pain.

وَ اَنْتَ اِلٰهُ کُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَ خَالِقُهٗ وَ جَبَّارُ کُلِّ مَخْلُوْقٍ وَ رَازِقُه ٗفَالْعَزِيْزُ مَنْ اَعْزَزْتَ وَالذَّلِيْلُ مَنْ اَذْلَلْتَ وَالسَّعِيْدُ مَنْ اَسْعَدْتَ وَالشَّقِيُّ مَنْ اَشْقَيْتَ َ الْغَنِيُّ مَنْ اَغْنَيْتَ وَالْفَقِيْرُ مَنْ اَفْقَرْتَ

As You are the master of all things and You are the Provider and Powerful over all things. One can be said respectable only if you respect him and One who is dishonored by You is disgraced and if you can make one fortunate is lucky and if You make whom unfortunate is miserable and if You make one rich is a rich and if You make whom dependant is a beggar.

اَنْتَ وَلِّيٖ وَ مَوْلاَيَ وَ عَلَيْکَ رِزْقِيْ وَ بِيَدِکَ نَاصِيَتِيْ فَصَلِّ عَلٰي مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ افْعَلْ بِيْ مَا اَنْتَ اَهْلُهٗ

O Allah! You are my guardian and my fortune and my sustenance is in Your hand. Send Your blessing on Sayyedana Mohammad and his progeny (saws.). And do good turn with me which is worthy of Your splendor.

وَعْدُ بِفَضْلِکَ عَلٰي عَبْدٍ غَمَرَهٗ جَهْلَهٗ وَاسْتَوْلٰي عَلَيْهِ التَّسْوِيْفُ حَتّٰي سَالَمَ الْاَيَّامَ فَارْتَکَبَ الْمَحَارِمَ وَ الْاٰثَامَ فَاجْعَلْنِيْ

Be kind with one who is ignored or falsehood has over-whelmed him and make a truce with the world and make commission of prohibition and sins.

سَيِّدِيْ عَبْدًا يَفْزَعُ اِلَي التَّوْبَۃِ فَاِنَّهَا مَفْزَعُ الْمُذْنِبِيْنَ وَ اَغْنِنِيْ بِجُوْدِکَ الْوَاسِعِ عَنِ الْمَخْلُوْقِيْنَ وَلاَ تُخْرِجْنِيْ اِلٰي شِرَارِ الْعَالَمِيْنَ وَهَبْ لِيْ عَفْوَکَ فِيْ مَوْقِفِ يَوْمِ الدِّيْنِ (١)

O my Lord, settle me with those who seek protection by repent. Repentance is an asylum of a sinful person. Make me independent from the world by Your high power and kindness. Do not make me dependant of any one. Forgive me on the day of Judgment.

فَاِنَّکَ اَرَحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ وَ اَجْوَدُ الْاَجْوَدِيْنَ وَ اَکْرَمُ الْاَکْرَمِيْنَ يَا مَنْ لَهٗ الْاَسْمَآءُ الْحُسْنٰي وَالْاَمْثَالُ الْعُلْيَا جَبَّارُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِيْنَ اِلَيْکَ قَصَدْتُ رَاجِيًا فَلاَ تَرُدَّ يَدِيْ عَنْ سِنِّيْ مَوَاهِبِکَ صِفْرًا اِنَّکَ جَوَادٌ مِفْضَالٌ يَا رَؤُوْفًا بِالْعِبَادِ وَ مَنْ هُوَ لَهُمْ بِالْمِرْصَاد

No doubt You are kind and most generous . Your esteem is honorable of all. O my Lord, Your Beautiful Names and great instances are over whelming on the earth and the heaven. I in the hopeful manner turned my face towards You so do not send me our empty handed from Your bounties. No doubt You are generous and grateful and kind to all and takes care of the people.

ِ اَسْئَلُکَ اَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلٰي مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اَنْ تُجْزِلَ ثَوَابِيْ وَ تُحْسِنَ مَاٰبِيْ وَ تَسْتُرَ عُيُوْبِيْ

I request You to send blessing on Mohammad Mustafa and his Progeny (s.a.w.a.) and increase my virtues and make my last stage of my journey good, conceal my sins.

وَ تَغْفِرَ ذُنُوْبِيْ وَ تُنْقِذَنِيْ مَوْلاَيَ بِفَضْلِکَ مِنْ اَلِيْمِ الْعِقَابِ اِنَّکَ جَوَادٌ کَرِيْمٌ وَهَّابٌ فَقَدْ اَلْقَتْنِيْ السَّيِّئَاتُ وَالْحَسَنَاتُ بَيْنَ ثَوَابٍ وَ عِقَابٍ

O my Lord save me from Your severe chastisement. You are merciful and generous. O Allah, my good and bad deeds keep me in between virtues and chastisement.

فَقَدْ رَجَوْتُ اَنْ تَکُوْنَ بِلُطْفِکَ تَتَغَمَّدُ عَبْدَکَ الْمُقِرُّ بِفَوَادِحِ الْعُيُوْبِ بِجُوْدِکَ وَ کَرَمِکَ يَا غَافِرَ الذُّنُوْبِ وَ تَصْفَحُ عَنْ زَلَلِهٖ فَلَيْسَ لِيْ سَيِّدَيْ رَبٌّ اَرْتَحِيْهِ غَيْرُکَ وَلَآ اِلٰهَ اَسْئَلُکَ جَبْرَ فَاقَتِيْ وَ مَسْکَنَتِيْ سِوَاکَ فَلاَ تُرَدَّنِيْ مِنْکَ بِالْخَيْبَۃِ يَا مُقِيْلُ الْعَثَرَاتِ وَ کَاشِفَ الْکُرُبَاتِ

I hope You shall conceal my bad virtues after confessing.O Pardoner, for the sake of Your Mercy, forgive me for taken false steps. Because O my Lord, no one is other god except You to whom I raise hope. No one is mine except You to whom I raise hope. No one is mine except You that I seek request to remove my poverty. O Pardoner of sins and troubles do not turn me without blessings.

اِلٰهِيْ فَسُرَّنِيْ فَاِنِّيْ لَسْتُ بِاَوَّلَ مَنْ سَرَرْتَهُ يَا وَلِيَّ النِّعَمِ وَ شَدِيْدَ النِّقَمِ وَ دَآئِمَ الْمَجْدِ وَالْکَرَمِ وَاخْصُصْنِيْ مِنْکَ بِمَغْفِرَۃٍ لاَ يُقَارِنُهَا شَقَآئٌ وَ سَعَادَۃٌ لاَ يُدَانِيْهَا اَذًي

O my Lord! Make me happy as I will not be first one from the happiest men whom you made happy before. O Master of blessings and given of severe chastisement, let me particular for salvation that misfortune cannot pass by and conferred me good fortune that no trouble can come near it.

وَ اَلْهِمَنِيْ تُقَاکَ وَ مَحَبَّتَکَ وَ جَنِّبْنِيْ مُؤْبِقَاتِ مَعْصِيَتِکَ وَلاَ تَجْعَلْ لِلنَّارِ عَلَيَّ سُلْطَانًا اِنَّکَ اَهْلُ التَّقْوٰي وَ اَهْلُ الْمَغْفِرَۃِ وَ قَدْ دَعَوْتُکَ وَ تَکَفَّلْتَ بِالْاِجَابَۃِ فَلاَ تُخَيِّبْ سَآئِلَکَ وَلاَ تَخْذُلْ طَالِبَکَ وَ لاَ تَرُدَّ اٰمِلَکَ يَا خَيْرَ مَامُوْلٍ وَ اَسْئَلُکَ بِرَافَتِکَ وَ رَحْمَتِکَ وَ فَرْدَانِيَّتِکَ وَ رُبُوْبِيَّتِکَ يَا مَنْ هُوَ عَلٰي کُلِ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ وَ بِکُلِّ شَيْءٍ مُحِيْطٌ

Send me divine help of love and fear of You and keep me safe from destruction and do not allow the fire of hell over me. You are only worthy for salvation and piety. I pray to you and You have promised acceptance so do not make me disappointed. For the sake of your blessings, favours and providence I pray to you. O Allah you have power over all things.

فَاَکْفِنِيْ مَا اَهَمَّنِيْ مِنْ اَمْرِ دُنْيَايَ وَ اٰخِرَتِيْ فَاِنَّکَ سَمِيْعُ الدُّعَآءِ لَطِيْفٌ لِّمَا تَشَآءُ وَ اَدْرِجْنِيْ دَرَجَ مَنْ اَوْجَبْتَ لَهٗ حُلُوْلُ دَارَکَرَامَتِکَ مَعَ اَصْفِيَآئِکَ وَ اَهْلِ اِخْتِصَاصِکَ بِجَزِيْلِ مَوَاهِبِکَ فِيْ دَرَجَات جَنَّاتِکَ مَعَ الَّذِيْنَ اَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنَ النَّبِيِّيْنَ وَالصِّدِّيْقِيْنَ وَالشُّهَدَآءِ وَالصَّالِحِيْنَ وَ حَسُنُ اُوْلٰٓئِکَ رِفِيْقًا

The matters of the world and resurrection have made me sad, so make me free as you are hearing and merciful to whom you like. Keep me among the pious and your beloved people who will be along with your Apostles, sincere, and martyred people in paradise. They will be good virtuous people. How nice will be their companionship?

وَ مَا افْتَرَضْتَ عَلَيَّ فَاحْتَمِلْهُ عَنِّيْ اِلٰي مَنْ اَوْجَبَتْ حُقَوْقَهٗ مِنَ الْاٰبَآءِ وَالْاُمَّهَاتِ وَالْاِخْوَۃِ وَالْاَخْوَاتِ وَاغْفِرِلِيْ وَلَهُمْ مَعَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَالْمُؤْمِنٰتِ اِنَّکَ قَرِيْبٌ مُجِيْبٌ وَاسِعُ الْبَرَکَاتِ

O My Lord! Whatever the duties are on me, accomplish them especially the duties of my parents, brothers and sisters and forgive all Shiite Muslims along with them my relatives and myself. You are very near, knower and hearer of prayers and great auspicious. O the kind, the great kind of all.

وَ ذٰلِکَ عَلَيْکَ يَسِيْرٌ يَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ۔ وَ صَلَّي اﷲُ عَلٰي مُحَمَّدٍ النَّبِيِّ وَ اٰلِهٖ وَ سَلَّمَ تَسْلِيْمًا۔

My request is very easy for you. O Allah! Grant Complete Safety with your blessings on Muhammed Mustafa (saws) and his innocent and most pure Progeny.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَلِيَّ ٱللَّهِ

alssalamu ʿalayka ya waliyya allahi

Peace be upon you, O saint of Allah!

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا حُجَّةَ ٱللَّهِ وَخَالِصَتَهُ

alssalamu ʿalayka ya hujjata allahi wa khalisatahu

Peace be upon you, O argument of Allah and His choicest!

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا إِمَامَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنينَ

alssalamu ʿalayka ya imama almu'minina

Peace be upon you, O leader of the faithful believers,

وَوَارِثَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ

wa waritha almursalina

inheritor of the messengers,

وَحُجَّةَ رَبِّ ٱلْعَالَمِينَ

wa hujjata rabbi alʿalamina

and argument of the Lord of the Worlds!

صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ بَيْتِكَ

salla allahu ʿalayka wa ʿala ali baytika

May Allah send peace upon you and upon your Household,

ٱلطَّيِّبِينَ ٱلطَّاهِرِينَ

alttayyibina alttahirina

the pure and immaculate!

يَا مَوْلاَيَ يَا أَبَا مُحَمَّدٍ

ya mawlaya ya aba muhammadin

O my master, O Abu-Muhammad,

ٱلْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ

alhasana ibna ʿaliyyin

al-Hasan, the son of `Ali!

أَنَا مَوْلىً لَكَ وَلِآلِ بَيْتِكَ

ana mawlan laka wa li-ali baytika

I am a servant of you and of your Household

وَهٰذَا يَوْمُكَ وَهُوَ يَوْمُ ٱلْخَمِيسِ

wa hadha yawmuka wa huwa yawmu alkhamisi

and today is your day, which is Thursday,

وَأَنَا ضَيْفُكَ فِيهِ وَمُسْتَجِيرٌ بِكَ فِيهِ

wa ana dayfuka fihi wa mustajirun bika fihi

and on this day, I am your guest and in your vicinity;

فَأَحْسِنْ ضِيَافَتِي وَإِجَارَتِي

fa-ahsin diyafati wa ijarati

so, receive me hospitably as your guest and neighbor,

بِحَقِّ آلِ بَيْتِكَ ٱلطَّيِّبِينَ ٱلطَّاهِرِينَ

bihaqqi ali baytika alttayyibina alttahirina

[I ask you] in the name of your Household, the pure and immaculate.

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent and Merciful.

سُبْحَانَكَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ الْوَاسِعُ الَّذِي لَا يَضِيقُ

Glory be to you, There is no God save you; The Immense, Who will not be narrowed!

الْبَصِيرُ الَّذِي لَا يَضِلُّ النُّورُ الَّذِي لَا يُخْمَدُ

The All-Seeing, Who will never astray! The Divine Light, Who will never be extinguished!

سُبْحَانَكَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ الْحَيُّ الَّذِي لَا يَمُوتُ

Glory be to you, There is no God save you; The Ever-living, Who will never die!

الْقَيُّومُ الَّذِي لَا يَهِنُ الصَّمَدُ الَّذِي لَا يُطْعَمُ

The Self-Subsistent, who The Eternally Besought and Will never be fed!

سُبْحَانَكَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ مَا أَعْظَمَ شَأْنَكَ

Glory be to you, There is no God save you;

[وَ أَعَزَّ سُلْطَانَكَ وَ أَعْلَى مَكَانَكَ [وَ أَشْمَخَ مُلْكَكَ

How mighty is your authority! How mighty is Your station!

سُبْحَانَكَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ مَا أَبَرَّكَ وَ أَرْحَمَكَ

Glory be to you, There is no God save you; O, The most; Merciful, Benevolence,

وَ أَحْلَمَكَ وَ أَعْظَمَكَ وَ أَسْمَحَكَ وَ أَجَلَّكَ

Forbearance, Greatness, forgiver, sublime,

وَ أَكْرَمَكَ وَ أَعْلَمَكَ وَ أَعَزَّكَ وَ أَعْلَاكَ

generous, All-Knowing, Mighty, High,

وَ أَقْوَاكَ وَ أَسْمَعَكَ وَ أَبْصَرَكَ

All-Powerful, All-Hearing, and All-Watching!

سُبْحَانَكَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ

Glory be to you, There is no God save you;

مَا أَكْرَمَ عَفْوَكَ وَ أَعْظَمَ تَجَاوُزَكَ

O, How; generous is your pardon, and great is your overlooking!

سُبْحَانَكَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ

Glory be to you, There is no God save you;

مَا أَوْسَعَ رَحْمَتَكَ وَ أَكْثَرَ فَضْلَكَ

O, How; expanded is your mercy and abundant is your bounties!

سُبْحَانَكَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ

Glory be to you, There is no God save you;

مَا أَنْعَمَ آلَاءَكَ وَ أَسْبَغَ نَعْمَاءَكَ

O, How, Bestowed is his blessings and graces!

سُبْحَانَكَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ

Glory be to you, There is no God save you;

مَا أَفْضَلَ ثَوَابَكَ وَ أَجْزَلَ عَطَاءَكَ

O, How; great is your Reward, and abundant is your gifts!

سُبْحَانَكَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ

Glory be to you, There is no God save you;

مَا أَوْسَعَ حُجَّتَكَ وَ أَوْضَحَ بُرْهَانَكَ

O, How; immense is your Claim, and obvious is your Proof!

سُبْحَانَكَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ

Glory be to you, There is no God save you;

مَا أَشَدَّ أَخْذَكَ وَ أَوْجَعَ عِقَابَكَ

O, How; tough is your taking, and Hurtful is your punishment!

سُبْحَانَكَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ

Glory be to you, There is no God save you;

مَا أَشَدَّ مَكْرَكَ وَ أَمْتَنَ كَيْدَكَ

O, How; strong is your resourcefulness and firm cunning!

سُبْحَانَكَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ

Glory be to you, There is no God save you;

تُسَبِّحُ لَكَ السَّمَاوَاتُ السَّبْعُ وَ الْأَرَضُونَ السَّبْعُ

Glorify you The seven Heavens and seven Earths!

سُبْحَانَكَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ

Glory be to you, There is no God save you;

الْقَرِيبُ فِي عُلُوِّكَ الْمُتَعَالِي فِي دُنُوِّكَ الْمُتَدَانِي دُونَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ

O, the high in your nearness and yet exalted in your nearness before your creatures!

سُبْحَانَكَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ

Glory be to you, There is no God save you;

الْقَرِيبُ قَبْلَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ

O, The close; Who is a priori to all existence!

وَ الدَّائِمُ مَعَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ

O, The Everlasting when everything disappears!

وَ الْبَاقِي بَعْدَ فَنَاءِ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ

O, The Remaining, after everything (created) shall perish!

سُبْحَانَكَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ

Glory be to you, There is no God save you;

تَصَاغَرَ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ لِجَبَرُوتِكَ

Everything is minor before your omnipotence

وَ انْقَادَ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ لِسُلْطَانِكَ

and follows your authority.

وَ ذَلَّ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ لِعِزَّتِكَ

Before your respect, all things are Lowly.

وَ خَضَعَ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ لِمُلْكِكَ

Everything obeyed your authority

وَ اسْتَسْلَمَ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ لِقُدْرَتِكَ

and submitted to your All-Poweness!

سُبْحَانَكَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ

Glory be to you, There is no God save you;

مَلَكْتَ الْمُلُوكَ بِعَظَمَتِكَ

You are the One who rules over the kings by Your Power

وَ قَهَرْتَ الْجَبَابِرَةَ بِقُدْرَتِكَ

Defeated the tyrants with your power!

وَ ذَلَّلْتَ الْعُظَمَاءَ بِعِزَّتِكَ

You degraded The greats with your mightiness!

سُبْحَانَكَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ

Glory be to you, There is no God save you;

تَسْبِيحاً يَفْضُلُ عَلَى تَسْبِيحِ الْمُسَبِّحِينَ

with glorification that exceeds all the glorification of those who glorify Him,

كُلِّهِمْ مِنْ أَوَّلِ الدَّهْرِ إِلَى آخِرِهِ

from The beginning of time till eternity fulfilling The;

وَ مِلْءَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْأَرَضِينَ وَ مِلْءَ مَا خَلَقْتَ وَ مِلْءَ مَا قَدَّرْتَ

heavens, earth, what you created, and what you fated!

سُبْحَانَكَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ

Glory be to you, There is no God save you;

تُسَبِّحُ لَكَ السَّمَاوَاتُ بِأَقْطَارِهَا

The heavens glorify you on all its sides!

وَ الشَّمْسُ فِي مَجَارِيهَا

The sun is in its streaming;

وَ الْقَمَرُ فِي مَنَازِلِهِ وَ النُّجُومُ فِي سَيَرَانِهَا

The moon is in its places, the stars in its pacing,

وَ الْفَلَكُ فِي مَعَارِجِهِ

and The orbit in its ascension.

سُبْحَانَكَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ

Glory be to you, There is no God save you;

يُسَبِّحُ لَكَ النَّهَارُ بِضَوْئِهِ وَ اللَّيْلُ بِدُجَائِهِ

The day glorifies you by its Light, night by its darkness,

وَ النُّورُ بِشُعَاعِهِ وَ الظُّلْمَةُ بِغُمُوضِهَا

Light by its brightness, and The darkness with its Obscurely!

سُبْحَانَكَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ

Glory be to you, There is no God save you;

تُسَبِّحُ لَكَ الرِّيَاحُ فِي مَهَبِّهَا

The winds glorify you by blowing,

وَ السَّحَابُ بِأَمْطَارِهَا

clouds by rain,

وَ الْبَرْقُ بِأَخْطَافِهِ وَ الرَّعْدُ بِأَرْزَامِهِ

lightning by snatching, and thunder by bundling!

سُبْحَانَكَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ

Glory be to you, There is no God save you;

تُسَبِّحُ لَكَ الْأَرْضُ بِأَقْوَاتِهَا

The earth glorifies you by its sustenance,

وَ الْجِبَالُ بِأَطْوَادِهَا وَ الْأَشْجَارُ بِأَوْرَاقِهَا

mountains by its floating, trees by their leaves,

وَ الْمَرَاعِي فِي مَنَابِتِهَا

and pastureland by its arboretums!

سُبْحَانَكَ وَ بِحَمْدِكَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ وَحْدَكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ

Glory be to you, there is no God save You alone without having any partner;

عَدَدَ مَا سَبَّحَكَ مِنْ شَيْءٍ

at the amount of everything that glorifies you,

وَ كَمَا تُحِبُّ يَا رَبِّ أَنْ تُحْمَدَ

as you like to be Praised,

[ وَ كَمَا يَنْبَغِي لِعَظَمَتِكَ وَ كِبْرِيَائِكَ [وَ عِزِّكَ

and as should Your; Grandeur, Magnificence,

وَ عِزَّتِكَ وَ قُوَّتِكَ وَ قُدْرَتِكَ

honor, power, and ability glorified!

وَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَى رَسُولِهِ مُحَمَّدٍ خَاتَمِ النَّبِيِّينَ وَ آلِهِ أَجْمَعِينَ

O, Allah; send The blessings upon Muhammed, The seal of prophets and His household.

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate.

أُعِيذُ نَفْسِي بِرَبِّ الْمَشارِقِ وَ الْمَغارِبِ

I seek protection for myself in the Lord of the East and the West

مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ مَارِدٍ وَ قَائِمٍ وَ قَاعِدٍ وَ عَدُوٍّ وَ حَاسِدٍ

from the evil of every rebellious, standing, sitting, envious.

وَ مُعَانِدٍ وَ يُنَزِّلُ عَلَيْكُمْ مِنَ السَّماءِماءً

Refractory demon and We send down on you water from heaven,

لِيُطَهِّرَكُمْ بِهِ وَ يُذْهِبَ عَنْكُمْ رِجْزَ الشَّيْطانِ

to purify you thereby, to put away from you the defilement of Satan

وَ لِيَرْبِطَ عَلى قُلُوبِكُمْ وَ يُثَبِّتَ بِهِ الْأَقْدامَ

and to strengthen your hearts, and to make firm your feet.

ارْكُضْ بِرِجْلِكَ

Stamp Your foot!

هذا مُغْتَسَلٌ بارِدٌ وَ شَرابٌ

This is a washing-place cool for drinking.

وَ أَنْزَلْنا مِنَ السَّماءِ ماءً طَهُوراً لِنُحْيِيَ بِهِ بَلْدَةً مَيْتاً

And We sent down from heaven pure water to revive dead land,

وَ نُسْقِيَهُ مِمَّا خَلَقْنا أَنْعاماً وَ أَناسِيَّ كَثِيراً

and give to drink of it what We created, many cattle and men.

الْآنَ خَفَّفَ اللهُ عَنْكُمْ

Now God has lightened it for you.

ذلِكَ تَخْفِيفٌ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ وَ رَحْمَةٌ يُرِيدُ اللهُ

So that a lightening granted you by your Lord and the mercy that Allah desires

أَنْ يُخَفِّفَ عَنْكُمْ فَسَيَكْفِيكَهُمُ اللهُ

to lighten things for you, God will suffice you for them.

وَ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ

He is the All-hearer and the All-knower.

لا إِلهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَ اللهُ غالِبٌ عَلى أَمْرِهِ

There is no power except with Allah, no conqueror except Allah. God prevails in His purpose.

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللهِ

There is no God save Allah; Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah,

صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ

blessings of Allah be on him and his family.

أَعُوذُ بِعِزَّةِ اللهِ وَ أَعُوذُ بِقُدْرَةِ اللهِ

I seek refuge in the might of Allah and I seek refuge in the power of Allah

وَ أَعُوذُ بِرَسُولِهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ وَ سَلَّمَ تَسْلِيماً

and I seek refuge in His Messenger, may Allah bless him and his family and may He salute them with thorough salutation.

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

allahumma salli ʿala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin

O Allah, send blessings to Muhammad and his Household.

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

allahumma salli ʿala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin

O Allah, send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,

وَعَجِّلْ فَرَجَهُمْ

wa ʿajjil farajahum

hasten their Relief,

وَأَهْلِكْ عَدُوَّهُمْ

wa ahlik ʿaduwwahum

and destroy their enemies

مِنَ ٱلْجِنِّ وَٱلْإِنْسِ

mina aljinni wal-insi

from both jinn and human beings,

مِنَ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ وَٱلْآخِرِينَ

mina al-awwalina wal-akhirina

both the foremost and the later ones.

Recite after the `Asr Prayer on Thursday up to the end of Friday daytime.

سُبْحَانَ ٱللَّهِ

subhanallahi

All Glory be to Allah.

اللَّهُ اكْبَرُ

allahu-akbar

Allah is the Most Great.

لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ ٱللَّهُ

la ilaha illa allahu

There is no god save Allah.

Last Hours of Thursday

أَسْتَغْفِرُ ٱللَّهَ الَّذِي لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ

astaghfiru allaha alladhi la ilaha illa huwa

I pray the forgiveness of Allah; there is no god but He,

ٱلْحَيُّ ٱلْقَيُّومُ

alhayyu alqayyumu

the Ever-living, the Self-Subsisting,

وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ

wa atubu ilayhi

and I repent to Him

تَوْبَةَ عَبْدٍ خَاضِعٍ

tawbata ʿabdin khadiʿin

as a slave who is submissive,

مِسْكِينٍ مُسْتَكِينٍ

miskinin mustakinin

acquiescent, and poor,

لاَ يَسْتَطيعُ لِنَفْسِهِ صَرْفاً وَلاَ عَدْلاً

la yastatiʿu linafsihi sarfan wa la ʿadlan

not controlling for himself any harm or profit,

وَلاَ نَفْعاً وَلاَ ضَرّاً

wa la nafʿan wa la darran

or benefit or damage

وَلاَ حَيَاةً وَلاَ مَوْتاً وَلاَ نُشُوراً

wa la hayatan wa la mawtan wa la nushuran

and not controlling death nor life, nor raising (the dead) to life.

وَصَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ

wa salla allahu ʿala muhammadin

May Allah send peace upon Muhammad

وَعِتْرَتِهِ ٱلطَّيِّبينَ ٱلطَّاهِرينَ

wa ʿitratihi alttayyibina alttahirina

and his Household; the pure, the immaculate,

ٱلْأَخْيَارِ ٱلْأَبْرَارِ

al-akhyari al-abrari

the choicest, and the pious;

وَسَلَّمَ تَسْليماً

wa sallama tasliman

and may He spread thorough blessings over them.

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِوَجْهِكَ ٱلْكَريمِ

allahumma inni as'aluka biwajhika alkarimi

O Allah, I beseech You in the name of Your Noble Face

وَٱسْمِكَ ٱلْعَظيمِ

wasmika alʿazimi

and in the name of Your Sublime Name

أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ

an tusalliya ʿala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin

to send blessings to Muhammad and his Household

وَأَنْ تَغْفِرَ لِي ذَنْبِيَ ٱلْعَظيمَ

wa an taghfira li dhanbiya alʿazima

and to forgive me my grave sin.

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا كُنْتَ وَ لَمْ يَكُنْ قَبْلَكَ شَيْءٌ

O, Allah, our Lord, You were, and nothing was there before You,

وَ أَنْتَ تَكُونُ حِينَ لَا يَكُونُ غَيْرَكَ شَيْءٌ

and You will exist when there is nothing except You.

لَا يَعْلَمُ أَحَدٌ كُنْهَ عِزَّتِكَ وَ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ أَحَدٌ أَنْ يَنْعَتَ عَظَمَتَكَ

No one knows Your mightiness essence nor describes Your greatness,

وَ لَا يَعْلَمُ أَحَدٌ أَيْنَ مُسَتَقَرُّكَ

no one knows where is Your dwelling place;

أَنْتَ فَوْقَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَ أَنْتَ وَرَاءَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ

You are above everything, behind everything,

وَ أَمَامَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَ مَعَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ

in front of everything, and with everything.

خَلَقْتَ يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَ الْإِكْرَامِ

You created, O Possessor of majesty and munificence;

الْعِزَّةَ لِوَجْهِكَ وَ أَخْلَصْتَ الْكِبْرِيَاءَ

glorification for Your Face purified the pride

وَ الْعَظَمَةَ لِنَفْسِكَ وَ خَلَقْتَ الْقُوَّةَ

and greatness of Your being and created the power

وَ الْقُدْرَةَ لِسُلْطَانِكَ فَ

and competence of Your authority!

سُبْحَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَلَى عَظَمَةِ مُلْكِكَ وَ جَلَالِ وَجْهِكَ

So, Glory be to You, our God, and to you be the Praise upon the greatness of Your kingdom and Your Honorable Face;

الَّذِي مَلَأَ نُورُهُ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ

whose light-filled everything,

وَ هُوَ حَيْثُ لَا يَرَاهُ شَيْءٌ يُسَبِّحُ بِحَمْدِهِ

and He is where nothing can witness Him; glorified is Him with His Praise

فَ سُبْحَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَ بِحَمْدِكَ

so, Glory and Praise be to You!

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ

O God, our Lord to You belongs Praise;

تَسَلَّطْتَ فَلَا أَحَدٌ مِنَ الْعِبَادِ يَحُدُّ وَصْفَكَ

You ruled over the servants so no one will limit Your description.

تَسَلَّطْتَ بِعِزَّتِكَ وَ تَعَزَّزْتَ بِجَبَرُوتِكَ

You ruled with Your mightiness; You braced Yourself with Your omnipotence,

وَ تَجَبَّرْتَ بِكِبْرِيَائِكَ وَ تَكَبَّرْتَ بِمُلْكِكَ

You compelled with your pride, and You magnified with Your possessions,

وَ تَمَلَّكْتَ بِقُدْرَتِكَ وَ قَدَرْتَ بِقُوَّتِكَ

You possessed with Your power, You got capable with Your power.

وَ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ أَحَدٌ مِنَ الْعِبَادِ وَصْفَكَ

No one among the servants can describe You,

وَ لَا يَقْدِرُ أَحَدٌ قَدْرَكَ

and no one can evaluate Your value,

وَ لَا يَسْبِقُ أَحَدٌ مِنْ قَضَائِكَ

nor can anyone go beyond Your decree.

سُبْحَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ

O God, our Lord to You belongs Praise;

عَلَى جَلَالِ وَجْهِكَ وَ عَظَمَةِ مُلْكِكَ

upon Your majestic face and the greatness of Your possessions;

الَّذِي بِهِ قَامَتِ السَّمَاوَاتُ وَ الْأَرْضُ

through which the heavens and earth endure.

سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا وَ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ

Glory be to You, O Allah, our Lord; to You belongs Praise.

مَلَأْتَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ عَظَمَةً

You filled everything with greatness,

وَ خَلَقْتَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ بِقُدْرَةٍ

and You created everything with power;

وَ أَحَطْتَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عِلْماً

You encompass all things with knowledge,

وَ أَحْصَيْتَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ عَدَداً

count everything in numbers,

وَ حَفِظْتَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ كِتَاباً

save everything in a record,

وَ وَسِعْتَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ رَحْمَةً وَ عِلْماً

and embracest everything in mercy and knowledge;

وَ أَنْتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ

indeed, You are Most Merciful of the merciful!

فَ سُبْحَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَلَى عِزَّةِ سُلْطَانِكَ

Glory be to You, our God, and to you be the Praise upon Your glorified authority;

الَّذِي خَشَعَ لَهُ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ

which everything humbled to, from Your creation

وَ أَشْفَقَ مِنْهُ كُلُّ عِبَادِكَ

and all Your servants got cautious of,

وَ خَضَعَتْ لَهُ كُلُّ خَلِيقَتِكَ

all Your creations are submitted to it.

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

O Allah, bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammed;

وَ اجْزِهِ أَفْضَلَ الْجَزَاءِ وَ أَفْضَلَ

repay him with the best reward, and with the best reward,

مَا أَنْتَ جَازٍ أَحَداً مِنْ أَنْبِيَائِكَ عَلَى حِفْظِهِ دِينَكَ وَ إِبْلَاغِهِ وَ اتِّبَاعِهِ وَصِيَّتَكَ

You ever granted to anyone of Your Prophets as he; safeguards Your religion and informs it, following Your will and command.

وَ أَمْرَكَ حَتَّى تُشَرِّفَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ بِتَفْضِيلِكَ إِيَّاهُ عَلَى جَمِيعِ رُسُلِكَ

Until You honor him with Your preferring upon all Your Messengers on the Day of Resurrection;

يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَ الْإِكْرَامِ

O Possessor of majesty and munificence!

اللَّهُمَّ كَمَا اسْتَنْقَذْتَنَا بِمَا انْتَجَبْتَ

O, Allah, just as You have rescued us through what You distinguished;

مُحَمَّداً صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ

Muhammed, blessings of Allah be upon him, and his Household

وَ هَدَيْتَنَا بِمَا بَعَثْتَهُ

and have guided us through what You sent,

وَ بَصَّرْتَنَا بِمَا أَوْصَيْتَهُ مِنَ الْعَمَلِ

and have shown us through what deeds you command.

فَصَلِّ عَلَيْهِ وَ عَلَى آلِهِ

Therefore, send Your blessings upon him and his Household,

وَ اجْزِهِ عَنَّا أَفْضَلَ الْجَزَاءِ

and repay him the best reward on our behalf.

وَ أَفْضَلَ مَا جَازَيْتَ نَبِيّاً مِنْ أَنْبِيَائِكَ وَ رُسُلِكَ

Best reward; You ever granted to any of Your Prophets and Messengers,

وَ أَنْ تَجْمَعَ لِي بِهِ خَيْرَ الدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةِ

and please grant me the best of this world and Hereafter.

إِنَّكَ ذُو فَضْلٍ كَرِيمٍ يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَ الْإِكْرَام

You are Possessor of generous bounty; O Possessor of majesty and munificence!
