Third Ziarat Jamea

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا رَسُولَ ٱللَّهِ

Peace be upon you, O Allah’s Messenger.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا نَبِيَّ ٱللَّهِ

Peace be upon you, O Allah’s Prophet.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا خِيَرَةَ ٱللَّهِ مِنْ خَلْقِهِ

Peace be upon you, O Allah’s best choice among His creatures

وَأَمِينَهُ عَلَىٰ وَحْيِهِ

and His trustee on His revelations.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مَوْلاَيَ يَا أَمِيرَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

Peace be upon you, O my master, O Commander of the Faithful.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مَوْلاَيَ

Peace be upon you, O my master.

أَنْتَ حُجَّةُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَىٰ خَلْقِهِ

You are Allah’s argument against His creatures,

وَبَابُ عِلْمِهِ

the door to His knowledge,

وَوَصِيُّ نَبِيِّهِ

the successor of His Prophet,

وَٱلْخَلِيفَةُ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ فِي أُمَّتِهِ

and the vicegerent after him among his nation.

لَعَنَ ٱللَّهُ اُمَّةً غَصَبَتْكَ حَقَّكَ

May Allah curse the people who usurped your right

وَقَعَدَتْ مَقْعَدَكَ

and took your place.

أَنَا بَرِيءٌ مِنْهُمْ

I repudiate them

وَمِنْ شِيعَتِهِمْ إِِلَيْكَ

and their partisans in your presence.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ يَا فَاطِمَةُ ٱلْبَتُولُ

Peace be upon you, O Fatimah the chaste.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ يَا زَيْنَ نِسَاءِ ٱلْعَالَمِينَ

Peace be upon you, O adornment of the women of the worlds.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ يَا بِنْتَ رَسُولَ ٱللَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَالَمِينَ

Peace be upon you, O daughter of the Messenger of Allah the Lord of the worlds.

صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيكِ وَعَلَيْهِ

May Allah send blessings upon you and him.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكِ يَا أُمَّ ٱلْحَسَنِ وَٱلْحُسَيْنِ

Peace be upon you, O mother of al-Hasan and al-Husayn.

لَعَنَ ٱللَّهُ أُمَّةً غَصَبَتْكِ حَقَّكِ

May Allah curse the people who usurped your right

وَمَنَعَتْكِ مَا جَعَلَهُ ٱللَّهُ لَكِ حَلاَلاًَ

and deprived you of that which Allah has deemed lawful to you.

أَنَا بَريءٌ إِِلَيْكِ مِنْهُمْ وَمِنْ شِيعَتِهِمْ

I repudiate them and their partisans in your presence.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مَوْلاَيَ

Peace be upon you, O my master

يَا أَبَا مُحَمَّدٍ ٱلْحَسَنُ ٱلزَّكِيُّ

Abu-Muhammad al-Hasan the bright.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مَوْلاَيَ

Peace be upon you, O my master.

لَعَنَ ٱللَّهُ أُمَّةً قَتَلَتْكَ

May Allah curse the people who killed you,

وَبَايَعَتْ فِي أَمْرِكَ وَشَايَعَتْ

swore allegiance to each other against you, and helped each other against you.

أَنَا بَرِيءٌ إِِلَيْكَ مِنْهُمْ وَمِنْ شِيعَتِهِمْ

I repudiate them and their partisans in your presence.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مَوْلاَيَ

Peace be upon you, O my master

يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْحُسَيْنُ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ

O Abu-`Abdullah al-Husayn the son of `Ali.

صَلَوَاتُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكَ

Allah’s blessings be upon you,

وَعَلَىٰ أَبِيكَ وَجَدِّكَ مُحَمَّدٍ

your father, and your grandfather Muhammad,

صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ

may Allah send blessings upon him and his Household.

لَعَنَ ٱللَّهُ أُمَّةً ٱسْتَحَلَّتْ دَمَكَ

May Allah curse the people who violated the shedding of your blood.

وَلَعَنَ ٱللَّهُ أُمَّةً قَتَلَتْكَ

May Allah curse the people who slew you

وَٱسْتَبَاحَتْ حَرِيـمَكَ

and violated the sacredness of your women.

وَلَعَنَ ٱللَّهُ أَشْيَاعَهُمْ وَ أَتْبَاعَهُمْ

May Allah curse their partisans and followers.

وَلَعَنَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمُمَهِّدِينَ لَهُمْ

May Allah curse those who paved the way to them

بِٱلتَّمْكِينِ مِنْ قِتَالِكُمْ

to fight against you.

أَنَا بَرِيءٌ إِِلَىٰ ٱللَّهِ وَإِِلَيْكَ مِنْهُمْ

I repudiate them in the presence of Allah and you.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مَوْلاَيَ

Peace be upon you, O my master

يَا أَبَا مُحَمَّدٍ عَلِيُّ بْنَ ٱلْحُسَيْنِ

Abu-Muhammad `Ali the son of al-Husayn.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مَوْلاَيَ

Peace be upon you, O my master

يَا أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ

Abu-Ja`far Muhammad the son of `Ali.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مَوْلاَيَ

Peace be upon you, O my master

يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ ٱللَّهِ جَعْفَرُ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ

Abu-`Abdullah Ja`far the son of Muhammad.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مَوْلاَيَ

Peace be upon you, O my master

يَا أَبَا ٱلْحَسَنِ مُوسَىٰ بْنَ جَعْفَرٍ

Abu’l-Hasan Musa ibn Ja`far.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مَوْلاَيَ

Peace be upon you, O my master

يَا أَبَا ٱلْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنَ موُسَىٰ

Abu’l-Hasan `Ali ibn Musa.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مَوْلاَيَ

Peace be upon you, O my master

يَا أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ

Abu-Ja`far Muhammad the son of `Ali.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مَوْلاَيَ

Peace be upon you, O my master

يَا أَبَا ٱلْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ

Abu’l-Hasan `Ali the son of Muhammad.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مَوْلاَيَ

Peace be upon you, O my master

يَا أَبَا مُحَمَّدٍ ٱلْحَسَنُ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ

Abu-Muhammad al-Hasan the son of `Ali.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مَوْلاَيَ

Peace be upon you, O my master

يَا أَبَا ٱلْقَاسِمِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنَ ٱلْحَسَنِ

Abu’l-Qasim Muhammad the son of al-Hasan

صَاحِبَ ٱلزَّمَانِ

the patron of the age.

صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْكَ

May Allah send blessings upon you

وَعَلَىٰ عِتْرَتِكَ ٱلطَّاهِرَةِ ٱلطَّيِّبَةِ

and upon your family, the immaculate and pure.

يَا مَوَالِيَّ كُونُوٱ شُفَعَائِي

O my masters, be my intercessors

فِي حَطِّ وِزْرِي وَخَطَايَايَ

in the forgiveness of my burdens and sins.

آمَنْتُ بِٱللَّهِ وَبِمَا أُنْزِلَ إِِلَيْكُمْ

I believe in Allah in what has been revealed to you.

وَ أَتَوَالَىٰ آخِرَكُمْ بِمَا أَتَوَالَىٰ أَوَّلَكُمْ

I swear to the last of you the same loyalty that I swear to the first.

وَبَرِئْتُ مِنَ ٱلْجِبْتِ وَٱلطَّاغوُتِ

I repudiate all idols, false deities,

وَٱللاَّتِ وَٱلْعُزَّىٰ

Idol Lat, and Idol al-`Uzza.

يَا مَوَالِيَّ أَنَا سِلْمٌ لِمَنْ سَالَمَكُمْ

O my masters, I am at peace with those who are at peace with you,

وَحَرْبٌ لِمَنْ حَارَبَكُمْ

I am at war against those who are at war against you,

وَعَدُوٌّ لِمَنْ عَادَاكُمْ

I am the enemy of those who show enmity towards you,

وَوَلِيٌّ لِمَنْ وَالاَكُمْ

and I am loyal to those who are loyalists to you

إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَامَةِ

up to the Resurrection Day.

وَلَعَنَ ٱللَّهُ ظَالِمِيكُمْ وَغَاصِبِيكُمْ

May Allah curse those who have wronged you and usurped your rights.

وَلَعَنَ ٱللَّهُ أَشْيَاعَهُمْ وَ أَتْبَاعَهُمْ وَ أَهْلَ مَذْهَبِهِمْ

May Allah curse their partisans, followers, and people of their sects.

وَ أَبْرَاءُ إِِلَىٰ ٱللَّهِ وَإِِلَيْكُمْ مِنْهُمْ

I repudiate them in the presence of Allah and you.
