Dua Sabasab

بِسْمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحْمٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

bismillahi alrrahmani alrrahimi

In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.

فَاَوْجَسَ فِیْ نَفْسِہٖ خِیْفَۃً مُّوْسٰی

Fa awjasa fee nafsihee kheefatan moosaa

So then Moosa became nervous, a little anxious.

قُلْنَا لاَ تَخَفْ اِنَّکَ اَنْتَ الْاَعْلٰی

qulnaa laa takhaf innaka antal aa' ' laa

We (Allah) said 'worry not. You will positively have the Upper hand.

وَ اَلْقِ مَا فِیْ یَمِیْنِکَ تَلْقَفْ مَا صَنَعُوْا اِنَّمَا صَنَعُوْا کَیْدُ سٰحِرٍ وَلاَ یُفْلِحُ السّٰحِرُ حَیْثُ اَتٰی

waa alqi maa fee yameenika talqaf maa s'ana-o'o innamaa s' ana-o'o kaydu saahir wa laa yuflih'ussah'iru haythu ataa

(Staff): it will swallow up the Spellbinding artifice (ropes looking like Snakes) manipulated by a sorcerer who Shall not be successful, Whatever tricks he plays.

فَاُلْقِیَ السَّحَرَۃُ سُجَّدًا قَالُوْآ اٰمَنَّا بِرَبِّ ہٰرُوْنَ وَ مُوْسٰی

fa-ulqiyas sah'aratu sujjadan qaaloo aamannaa bi-rabbi Haroona wa Moosa

Then the sorcerers put their foreheads on The ground and announced 'We believe In the Lord of Moosa and Haroon'

فَغُلِبُوْا ہُنَالِکَ وَ انْقَلَبُوا صٰغِرِیْنَ

fa-ghuliboo hunaalika wan-qalaboos'aagireen

Thus They there were defeated and brought low.

فَوَقَعَ الْحَقُّ وَ بَطَلَ مَا کَانُوا یَعْمَلُوْنَ

fa-waqa-a'l h'aqqu wa bat' ala maa kaanoo yaa'-maloon

Thus the truth was established and that which they were doing was made vain

فَاَوْحَیْنَآ اِلٰی مُوْسٰی اَنِ اضْرِبْ بِّعَصَاکَ الْبَحْرَ

fa-awh aynaa ilaa moosaa aniz'rib bi-a' s' aakal bah'ra

Then We inspired Moosa Saying: 'Strike The sea with your staff'.

فَاَنْفَلَقَ فَکَانَ کُلُّ فِرْقٍ کَالطَّودِ الْعَظِیْمِ

fan- falaqa fakaana kulli firqin kattawdil azeem

Then it put apart (the sea) into two high mountains of water.

عُذْتُ بِاللهِ رَبِّیْ وَ رَبِّ کُلِّ شَیْءٍ مِّنْ سِحْرِ کُلِّ سَاحِرٍ

u'd'tu billaahi rabbee wa rabbi kulli shay-im min sih'rin kulli saah'irin'w

I have taken refuge with Allah, my Lord, And Lord of one and all magicians,

وَّ غَدْرِ کُلِّ غَادِرٍ وَّ مَکْرِ کُلِّ مَاکِرٍ

wa ghadrikulli ghaadirin wa makrikulli maakirin'w

The deceit of the treacherous, the trickery Of the swindlers,

وَّ مِنْ شَرِّ کُلِّ سَآمَّۃٍ وَ ہَآمَّۃٍ وَ لَآمَّۃٍ

wa min sharri kulli saaammatin'w wa haaammatin wa laammatin

And from the harm of all the Poisonous animals, Vicious reptiles, Vicious reptiles, Vile disposition

وَّ مِنْ شَرِّ کُلِّ ذِیْ شَرٍّ وَّ اسْتِکْلاَبِ کُلِّ ذِیْ صَوْلَۃٍ

wa min sharri kullid'ee sharrin'w wastiklaabi kullid'ee s'awlatin'w

And from the evil of all wickedness, From the violent fury of the oppressors,

وَّ غَلَبَۃِ کُلِّ عَدُوٍّ وَ شَمَاتَۃِ کُلِّ کَاشِحٍ

wa ghalabati kulli a'duwwin'w wa shamaatati kulli kaashih'in

And the highhandedness of all Enemies, And the intrigue of the secret Plotters.

اَدْرَءُ ابِاللهِ فِیْ نُحُوْرِہِمْ

adra-u billaahi fee nuh'oorihim

I repulsed their offensive assault in the name of Allah.

وَ اَسْتَعِیْذُ بِاللهِ مِنْ شُرُوْرِہِمْ

wa asta-e'ed'u billaahi min shuroorihim

I took refuge with Allah from Their evil.

وَ اَسْتَعِیْنُ بِاللهِ عَلَیْہِمْ

wa asta-e'enu billaahi a'layhim

I asked for Allah's help against Them.

تَدَرَّعْتُ بِحَوْلِ اللهِ مِنْ نَقْلَتِہِمْ

tadarraa;tu bi-h'awlillaahi min naqlatihim

I cut off the neck of their false Pretensions by the Divine Wisdom.

وَ تَحَصَّنْتُ بِقُوَّۃِ اللهِ مِنْ جُنُوْدِہِمْ

wa tah'as's'antu bi-quwwatillaahi min junoodihim

I walled in inside the Divine Fortress to defend against their Soldiers.

وَ دَفَعْتُہُمْ عَنِّیْ بِدِفَاعِ اللهِ الْقَاہِرِ وَ سُلْطَانِہِ الْبَاہِرِ وَ رَمَیْتُہُمْ بِسَہْمِ اللهِ الْقَاتِلِ وَ سَیْفِہِ الْقَاطِعِ اَخَذْتُہُمْ بِبَطْشِ اللهِ

wa dafaa' tuhum a'nnee bi-difaa-i'llaahil qaahiri wa sult'aanihil baahiri wa ramaytuhum bisahmillaaahil qaatili wa sayfihil qaat'i-i' akhad'tuhum bi-bat'shillaahi

I pushed them back by the Predominant thrust of Allah, The distinct Sovereign, I hit and killed them by the Deadly arrow and sharp sword Of Allah, I caught hold of them, With the superior might of Allah,

وَ طَرَدْتُہُمْ بِاِذْنِ اللهِ

wa t'aradtuhum bi-id'nillaahi

Dispersed them with the Permission of Allah,

وَ فَرَّقْتُہُمْ تَفْرِیْقًا بِحَوْلِ اللهِ

wa farraqtuhum faf- reeqan bi-h' awlillaahi

Threw them into chaos by the Divine decisive method

مَزَّ قْتَہُمْ تَمْزِیْقًا بِقُوَّۃِ اللهِ

mazzaqtuhum tamzeeqan bi-quwwatillaahi

Pulled them to pieces with the Strength of Allah,

شَتَتُّہُمْ تَشْتِیْتًا بِمَنْعَۃِ اللهِ

shattatuhum tashteetan bi-man-a'tillaahi

Scattered them to the wind, Divided and forsaken, with the Power of Allah.

وَلاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّۃَ اِلاَّ بِاللهِ الْعَظِیْمِ

wa laa h' awla wa laa quwwati illaa billaahil a'z'eem.

There is no power and no Might except Allah's the Greatest.

غَلَبْتُ مَنْ نَاوَانِیْ بِجُنْدِ اللهِ

ghalbtu man naawaanee bi-jundillaahil

I defeated the dishonest trick Ster with the powerful army Of Allah.

الْاَغْلَبِ وَ قَہَرْتُ مَنْ عَادَانِیْ بِسُلْطَانِ اللهِ الْاَکْبَرِ

aghlabi wa qahharta man a'adaanee bi-sult'aanil-laahil akabari

I overcame the hostile enemy With the authority of Allah, The great.

وَ دَمَّرْتُ مَنْ قَصَدَنِیْ بِحَوْلِ اللهِ الْاَعْظَمِ

wa dammartu man qas'adanee bi-h' awlil- laahil aa'- z'ami

I destroyed him, who hatched Plots, with the infallible Strategy of the Almighty Allah.

وَ تَبَرَّاْتُ مَنْ اَذَانِیْ بِاَخْذِ اللهِ الْاَسْرَعِ

wa tabarraa-tu man ad'aanee bi-akhad'illaahil asra-i'

I broke the conspirator into Pieces with subtle policy of Allah, the Ever Alert.

وَ دَفَعْتُ مَنِ اعْتَدٰی عَلَیَّ بِجَلاَلِ اللهِ الْاَمْنَعِ

wa dafaa' 'tu mania' 'tadaa a'layya bi 'jalaalillaahil amna' i'

I pushed back the transgressor In the name of the Glory of Allah, the impregnable.

وَلاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّۃَ وَلاَ مَنْعَۃَ وَلاَ عَوْنَ وَلاَ نَصْرَ

wa laa h' awla wa laa quwwata wa laa man-a'ta wa laa a'wna wa laa nas'ra

There is no power, no might, no dignity, no victory, no help,

وَلاَ اَیْدَ وَلاَ عِزَّۃَ اِلاَّ بِاللهِ الْعَلِیِّ الْعَظِیْمِ

wa laa ayda wa laa i' zzata illaa billaahil a'liyyil a'z'eem.

No support, no honour, except (with) Allah, the High, the Mighty.

وَ صَلَّی اللهُ عَلٰی سَیِّدِنَا وَ نَبِیِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ اٰلِہٖ الطَّاہِرِیْنَ

wa s'allallaahu a' laa sayyidinaa wa nabiyyinaa muh'ammadin'w wa aalihit' t' aahireen

Allah's blessings be on our Master and prophet Muhammad, and on his pure Descendents.

ہَزَمْتُ الْاَحْزَابَ بِسَطْوَۃِ اللهِ

hazimtul ah'zaaba bi-sat'watillaahi

have conquered the troops (of enemies) with the power Of Allah;

قَذَفْتُ فِیْ قُلُوْبِہِمُ الرُّعْبَ بِاِذْنِ اللهِ

qad'aftu fee quloobihimur rua'- ba bi-id'nillaahi

I put terror in their hearts, By the support of Allah.

سَلَطْتُّ عَلٰی اَفْئِدَتِہِمُ الرَّوْعَ بِعِزَّۃِ اللهِ

salat'tu a'laa af-idatihimur raw-a' bi-i'zzatillaahi

I created fear in the pit of their Stomachs, in the name of Allah's honour.

وَ فَرَّقْتُہُمْ تَفْرِیْقًا بِسُلْطَانِ اللهِ

wa farraqtuhum tafreeqan bi-sult'aanillaahi

They have been thrown into Chaos by me with the authority Of Allah.

مَزَّقْتُہُمْ تَمْزِیْقًا بِقُوَّۃِ اللهِ

mazzaqtuhum tamzeeqan bi-quwwatillaahi

They have been torn to pieces By me with the strength of Allah.

دَمَّرْتُہُمْ تَدْمِیْرًا بِقُدْرَۃِ اللهِ

dammartuhum tadmeeran bi-qudratillaahi

They have been destroyed and Ruined by me with the omnipotence of Allah.

اَخَذْتُ اَسْمَاعَہُمْ وَ اَبْصَارَہُمْ وَ جَوَارِحَہُمْ

akhad'tu asmaa-a'hum wa abs'aarahum wa jawaarih' ahum

I have taken away their power Of hearing and seeing; and destroyed The strength of their Limbs,

وَ اَرْکَانَہُمْ بِبَطْشِ اللهِ الْقَوِیِّ الشَّدِیْدِ وَ شِدَّتِہٖ

wa arkaanahum bi-bat'shil laahil qawiyyish shadeedi wa shiddatihee

and their confidence, With the superior unyielding Persevering and resolute power Of Allah.

وَ دَفَعْتُہُمْ عَنَّا بِحَوْلِ اللهِ الْعَلِیِّ الْعَظِیْمِ

wa dafaa' ' tuhum a'nnaa bi-h'awlillaahil a'liyyil a'z'eemi

They have been driven away By me with the help of Divine Strategy of Allah, the High, The Great, and the All-powerful.

وَ قُوَّتِہٖ وَ ہَزَمْتُہُمْ وَ جُنُوْدَہُمْ وَ اَبْطَالَہُمْ وَ شُجْعَانَہُمْ وَ اَنْصَارَہُمْ اَعْوَانَہُمْ بِاَیْدِ اللهِ الْمَتِیْنِ وَ نَصْرِ اللهِ الْمُبِیْنِ

wa quwwatihee wa hazamtuhum wa junoodahum wa abt' aalahum wa shuj-a'a- nahum wa ans' aarahum wa aa'-waanahum bi-aydil- laahil mateeni wa nas'arillaahil mubeen

They have been conquered, Worn down, disgraced, together With their soldiers, helpers, and Well- wishers by me with the Unfaltering aid, true and evident Help of Allah.

مَہْزُوْمِیْنَ مَرْعُوْبِیْنَ خَآئِفِیْنَ خَآئِبِیْنَ مَخْسُوْئِیْنَ مَغْلُوْبِیْنَ مَکْسُوْرِیْنَ مَاسُوْرِیْنَ مَبْہُوْرِیْنَ مَکْہُوْرِیْنَ مَقْہُوْرِیْنَ

mahzoomeena mar-o'obeena khaaa-ifeena khaaa-ibeena makhsoo-eena maghloobeena maksooreena maasooreena mabhooreena mak-hooreena maqhooreena

They are now overwhelmed, Over-awed, Frightened, Frustrated, Humiliated, Over-powered, Broken down Bound in chains, Out of breath, Tamed, Subdued.

اَللّٰہُمَّ ادْفَعْہُمْ عَنَّا بِحَوْلِکَ وَ قُوَّتِکَ وَ بَطْشِکَ وَ سَطْوَتِکَ مُفَرَّقِیْنَ مُمَزَّقِیْنَ مَبْہُوْرِیْنَ مَکْہُوْرِیْنَ مَقْہُوْرِیْنَ مَدْحُوْرِیْنَ مَذْعُوْرِیْنَ صَاغِرِیْنَ خَاسِرِیْنَ مَخْذُوْلِیْنَ مَغْلُوْبِیْنَ مَبْہُوْتِیْنَ مَشْمُوْتِیْنَ مُتَبَدِّلِیْنَ تَائِہِیْنَ فِیْ ذَہَابِہِمْ عَامِہِیْنَ فِیْ اَیَابِہِمْ حَآئِرِیْنَ فِیْ مَاٰبِہِمْ صَآئِرِیْنَ فِیْ تَبَابِہِمْ مَشْغُوْلِیْنَ بَاَجْسَادِہِمْ مَکْلُوْمِیْنَ فِیْ اَبْدَانِہِمْ مَجْرُوْحِیْنَ فِیْ اٰرَائِہِمْ مَضْرُوْبِیْنَ بِرِقَابِہِمْ مَّمْنُوْعِیْنَ عَنْ سِہَامِہِمْ مَّرْدُوْعِیْنَ عَنْ مَرَامِہِمْ مَّجْبُو ْہِیْنَ فِیْ کَرَّتِہِمْ مَصْرُوْعِیْنَ عَنْ وَّجْہَتِہِمْ شَمَاتًا مِّنْ مُّتَوَجِّہِہِمْ شَتَاتًا عَنْ مُّجْتَمِعِہِمْ مَّطْبُوْعًا عَلٰی قُلُوْبِہِمْ مَخْتُوْمًا عَلٰی اَفْئِدَتِہِمْ مَّغْشِیًّا عَلٰی اَبْصَارِہِمْ مَعْقُوْدًا عَلٰی اَلْسِنَتِہِمْ مَّرْبُوْطًا عَلٰی اَحْلاَمِہِمْ وَ اَفْہَامِہِمْ مَّشْدُوْدًا عَلٰیٓ اَیْدِیْہِمْ وَ اَرْجُلِہِمْ مَّدْرُوْئًا بِکَ

allaahumma dafaa'hum a'nnaa bi-h'awlika wa quwwatika wa bat' shika wa sat'watika mufarraqeena mumazzaqeena mabhooreena mak-hooreena maqhooreena madh'ppreena mad'-o'oreena s'aaghireena khaasireena makhd'ooleena maghloobeena mabhooteena mashmooteena mutabaddileena taa-iheena fee d'ahaabihim a'amiheena fee ayaabihim h'aaa-ireena fee maaabihim s'aaa-ireena fee tabaabihim mashghooleena bi-ajsaa- dihim makloomeena fee abdaanihim majrooh'eena fee aaraaa-ihim maz'roobeena bi-riqaabihim mamnoo-e'ena a'n shaamihim mardoo-e'ena a'n maraamihim majbooheena fee karratihim mas'roo-e'ena a'n wijhatihim shamaatam min mutawajjihhim shataatan a'n mujtami-i'him mat'boo-a'n a'laa quloobihim makhtooman alaa af-idatihim maghshiyyan a' laa abs' aarihim maa'-qoodan a'laa alsinatihim marboot'an a'laa ah'laamihim wa afhaamihim mashdoodan a'laa aydeehim wa arjulihim madroo-an bika

O Allah keep them away From us by Thy wisdom and Might, power and authority; Disunited, Mutilated, Out of breath, Tamed, Subdued, Distressed, Frightened, Humbled, Wandering, Forsaken, Overpowered Bewildered, Disappointed, Obscured, Gone astray while taking flight, Confused in their intentions, Perplexed in their hideouts, Tied up to their destruction, Engrossed in their physical Pleasures, With wounded bodies, Deteriorated minds, Their expectations cut off, Their arms and ammunition Unusable, Disillusioned in their intentions, Exposed to disgrace in their Escape, Thrown on the ground upon Their faces, Confused in their thoughts, Their hearts sealed off, Their hearts sealed off Their moratorium put aside, Their perception dimmed, Tied up to sluggishness, Addicted to sensuous pleasures And (restricted) to their limited Understanding, Their help exposed to calamities, And their soldiers pushed back.

اَللّٰہُمَّ فِیْ نُحُوْرِہِمْ مُسْتَعَأذَا بِکَ مِنْ شُرُوْرِہِمْ مُّسْتَغَاثًا بِکَ عَلَیْہِمْ

allaahumma fee nuh'oorihim musta-a'ad'an bika min shuroorihim musta-ghaathan bika a'layhim

O Allah, keep safe from their Plan of action, Give help to ward off their Mischief,

اَللّٰہُمَّ فَخُذْہُمْ اَخْذَکَ السَّرِیْعَ وَ سَلِّطْ عَلَیْہِمْ بَأْسَکَ الْفَجِیْعَ مَدْفُوْعِیْنَ مَصْرُوْعِیْنَ مَذْرُوْعِیْنَ فِیْ اَنْفُسِہِمْ مَّسْحُوْرِیْنَ فِیْ اَبْشَارِہِمْ مَّکْبُوْبِیْنَ عَلٰی وُجُوْہِہِمْ وَ مَنَاخِرِہِمْ مَّخْنُوْقِیْنَ بِحِبَالِہِمْ وَ اَوْتَارِہِمْ مُّقَیَّدِیْنَ

allaahumma fakhud'hum akhd'akas saree-a' wa sallit' a' layhim basakal fajee-a' madfoo-e'ena mas'roo-e' ena mas'roo-e'ena fee anfusihim mas-h'ooreena fee abshaarihim makboobeena a'laa wujoohihim wa manaa- khirihim makhnooqeena bi-h'ibaaa-ilahum wa awtaarihim muqayyadeena

O Allah, keep safe from their Plan of action, Give help to ward off their Mischief, O Allah, apprehend them At once, be hard on Them and bring loss upon them As a punishment; Denied by everybody, thrown To the ground, Choked in breathing, Spell-bound in enjoyment, Thrown with the face on the Ground, suffocated Strangled in their own ropes and strings.

بِالسَّلاَسِلِ مُکَبَّلِیْنَ بِالْاَغْلاَلِ مُقَرَّنِیْنَ فِیْ الْاَصْفَادِ مَطْرُوْقِیْنَ بِمَطَارِقِ الْبَلاَیَا مَصْعُوْقِیْنَ بِصَوَاعِقِ الْمَنَایَا مَقْطُوْعًا دَابِرُہُمْ مَّفْجُوْعًا غَابِرُہُمْ مَّسْلُوْبًا سَالِبُہُمْ مَغْلُوْبًا غَالِبُہُمْ یَا مَوْجُوْدًا عِنْدَ الشَّدَائِدِ اَمَّنْ یُّجِیْبُ الْمُضْطَرَّ اِذَا دَعَاہُ

bis-salaasili mukabbaleena bil-aghlaali muqarraneena fil-as'faadi mat'rooqeena bi-mat'aariqil balaayaa mas'-o'oqeena bi-mat'aariqil balaayaa maqt'oo-an dabiruhum mafjoo-a'n ghaabiruhum maslooban saalibuhum maghlooban ghaalibuhum yaa mawjoodan i'ndash shadaaa-idi amman'y yujeebul muz' t' arra id'aa da-a'ahu

Bound in fetters, Kept tied up, Shackled in chains, Knocked down by disastrous Calamities, one after another Screaming in the agony of Trial, Cut off from roots, Abandoned to calamities and Loss, Deprived of their booty and Loot, Their supremacy vanquished O He who is always close by In misfortunes, Comes to help the needy when He makes a request.

کَتَبَ اللهُ لَاَغْلِبَنَّ اَنَا وَ رُسُلِیْ

kataballaahu la-aghlibanna anaa wa rusulee

Allah has pre-ordained, 'victory for Me and for My Messengers'

اِنَّ اللهَ قَوِیٌّ عَزِیْزٌ

innallaaha qawiyyun a'zeezun

Verily Allah is strong and Mighty.

اَلَآ اِنَّ حِزْبَ اللهِ ہُمُ الْغَالِبُوْنَ اِنَّ وَلِیِّیَ اللهُ الَّذِیْ نَزَّلَ الْکِتَابَ

alaaa inna h'izbal- laahi humul ghaaliboon inna waliyyillaahul lad'ee nazzalal kitaaba

Beware! Certainly only the Surely my protector is Allah, Who sent down the book, and Stands by the virtuous.

وَ ہُوَ یَتَوَلَّی الصَّالِحِیْنَ اِنَّا کَفَیْنَاکَ الْمُسْتَہْزِئِیْنَ فَاَیَّدْنَا الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا عَلٰی عَدُوِّہِمْ فَاَصْبَحُوْا ظَاہِرِیْنَ

wa huwa yatawallas' s'aalih'eena innaa kafaynaakal mustahzi-eena fa-ayyadnal lad'eena aamanoo a'laa a'duwwihim fa-as'bah'oo z'aahireena

Verily, I ( Allah ) am sufficient For you against the sham Defiers, So I helped the faithful against Their enemies, and truth came To light.

لَآ اِلٰہَ اِلاَّ اللهُ وَحْدَہٗ اَنْجَزَ وَعْدَہٗ وَ نَصَرَ عَبْدَہٗ وَ اَعَزَّ جُنْدَہٗ وَ ہَزَمَ الْاَحْزَابَ وَحْدَہٗ

laaa i laaha illaallaahu wah'dahoo an-jaza waa'-dahoowa nas'ara a'bdahoo wa a-a'zza jundahoo wa hazamal ah'zaaba wah'dahoo

There is no god save Allah, The one and only, who fulfilled His promise, and helped His servant and backed up His Group; And Himself destroyed the Hordes of the (infidels).

فَلَہٗ الْمُلْکُ وَ لَہٗ الْحَمْدُ اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰہِ رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِیْنَ

falahul mulku wa lahul h'amd al-h'amdu lillaahi rabbil a' alameen

So, His is the Kingdom, and (all) praise is for Him (Only). (all) praise is (only) for Allah, The Lord of the worlds.

اَصْبَحْتُ فِیْ حِمَی اللهِ الَّذِیْ لاَ یُسْتَبَاحُ وَ فِیْ ذِمَّتِہِ الَّتِیْ لاَ تُخْفَرُ وَ فِیْ جَوَارِ اللهِ الَّذِیْ لاَ یُمْنَعُ وَ فِیْ عِزَّۃِ اللهِ الَّتِیْ لاَ تُسْتَذَلُّ وَ لاَ تُقْہَرُ وَ فِیْ حِزْبِہِ الَّذِیْ لاَ یُہْزَمُ وَ فِیْ جُنْدِہِ الَّذِیْ لَا یُغْلَبُ وَ فِیْ حَرِیْمِہِ الَّذِیْ لاُ یُسْتَبَاحُ

as'bah'tu fee h'imallaahil lad'ee laa yustabaah'u wa fee d'immatihil latee laa tukhfaru wa fee jawaarillaahil lad'ee laa yumna-u' wa fee i'zzatillaahil latee laa tustand'allu wa laa tuqharu wa fee h'id'bihil lad'ee laa yuhzamu wa fee jundihil lad'ee laa yughlabu wa fee h' areemihil lad'ee laa yustabaah'u

From the very beginning I Have taken refuge, in the safest Sanctuary of Allah, Under His shelter, never left Unguarded, Under the protection of Allah, Never rendered inaccessible, In the unconquerable and unfailing might of Allah, With His servants who are Never humbled, With His fighting force, never Subdued, In His unassailable quarters.

بِاللهِ اِفْتَتَحْتُ وَ بِاللهِ اسْتَنْجَحْتُ وَ تَعَزَّزْتُ وَ تَعَوَّقْتُ وَ انْتَصَرْتُ وَ بِعِزَّۃِ اللهِ قَوَیْتُ عَلٰیٓ اَعْدَآئِیْ

bil-laahif-tatah'tu wa bil-laahis tanjah'tu wata-a'zzaztu wa ta- a'wwaqtu wan-tas'artu wa bi-i'zzatillaahi qawytu a'laa aa'-daaa-ee

In the name of Allah I began, And in the name of Allah I Came through, Became powerful, attacked and Won With the help of Allah's might I overthrow my enemies.

بِجَلاَلِ اللهِ وَ کِبْرِیَآئِہٖ ظَہَرْتُ عَلَیْہِمْ وَ قَہَرْتُہُمْ بِحَوْلِ اللهِ وَ قُوَّتِہٖ

bi-jalaalillaahi wa kibriyaaa-ihee z' ahartu a'layhim wa qahartuhum bi-h'awlillaahi wa quwwatihee

By the glory and greatness of Allah I defeat them, Subdue them with the wisdom And strength of Allah.

وَ تَقَوَّیْتُ وَاحْتَرَسْتُ وَاسْتَعَنْتُ عَلَیْہِمْ بِاللهِ وَ فَوَّضْتُ اَمْرِیْٓ اِلَی اللهِ

wa taqawwaytu wah'tarastuwas-ta-a'ntu a'layhim billaahi wa fawwaz' tu amree ilallaahi

I grow strong, remain on guard And step forth against them in The name of Allah, And commit my affairs to Allah.

حَسْبِیَ اللهُ وَ نِعْمَ الْوَکِیْلُ

h' asbiyallaahu wa nia'-mal wakeel

Allah is sufficient for us, He is the best Protector.

وَتَرٰہُمْ یَنْظُرُوْنَ اِلَیْکَ وَ ہُمْ لاُ یُبْصِرُوْنَ

wa taraahum yanz'uroona ilayka wa hum laa yubs'iroona

And you see them looking Towards you, but they do not See.

صُمٌّ بُکْمٌ عَمْیٌ فَہُمْ لاَ یَرْجِعُوْنَ

s'ummun bukmun u'myun fahum laa yarji-o'ona

Deaf, dumb and blind, And they will not return.

اَتٰی اَمْرُ اللهِ عَلَتْ کَلِمَۃُ اللهِ وَ لاَحَتْ حُجَّۃُ اللهِ عَلٰی اَعْدَآئِ اللهِ الْفَاسِقِیْنَ وَ جُنُوْدِ اِبْلِیْسَ

ataa amrullaahi a'lat kalimatullaahi wa laa h'at h'ujjatul-laahi a'laa aa'-daa-il laahil faasiqeena wa junoodi ibleesa

Command of Allah has come, Word of Allah has prevailed, The evident proof of Allah Has been made known to the Shameless enemies of Allah, The lackeys of Satan.

اَجْمَعِیْنَ لَنْ یَّضُرُّوْکُمْ اِلَّآ اَذًی وَ اِنْ یُّقَاتِلُوْکُمْ یُوَلُّوْکُمُ الْاَدْبَارَ ثُمَّ لاَ یُنْصَرُوْنَ

ajma-e'ena lan'yaz'urroo kum illaa ad'an wa in'y yuqaatiloo kum yuwalloo kumul adbaara thumma laa yuns'aroon

They cannot prevail against you But may injure you a little; And if they fight they will run Away; Having no help thereafter,

ضُرِبَتْ عَلَیْہِمُ الذِّلَّۃُ وَ الْمَسْکَنَۃُ اَیْنَمَا ثُقِفُوْآ اُخِذُوْا وَ قُتِّلُوْا تَقْتِیْلاً

z'uribat a'layhimud' d'illatu wal maskanah aynamaa thuqifoo ukhid'oo wa quttiloo taqteelaa

Inflicted with disgrace and Misery, Very sour when caught hold of, and always destroyed in Battles.

لاَ یُقَاتِلُوْنَکُمْ جَمِیْعًا اِلاَّ فِیْ قُرًی مُّحَصَّنَۃٍ اَوْ مِنْ وَّرَآئِ جُدُرٍ بَاْسُہُمْ بَیْنَہُمْ شَدِیْدٌ

laa yuqaatiloonakum jamee-a'n illaa fee quram muh'as's'anatin awmin wa raaa-i judur baasuhum baynahum shadeedun

They will not fight (in the Open battlefield) unless barricaded From all sides, and what Is out of sight is tightly Enclosed.

تَحْسَبُہُمْ جَمْعًا وَّ قُلُوْبُہُمْ شَتّٰی

tah'sabuhum jamee'a'n wa quloobuhum shattaa

They fight fiercely among Themselves; You think they are united, But their minds are confused,

ذٰلِکَ بِاَنَّہُمْ قَوْمٌ لاَّ یَعْقِلُوْنَ

d'aalika bi-annahum qawmul laa yaa'-qiloona

Because they are a people Without the power to reason

تَحَصَّنْتُ مِنْہُمْ بِاَحْصَنِ الْحُصُوْنِ فَمَا اسْتَطَاعُوْآ اَنْ یَّظْہَرُوْہُ وَمَا اسْتَطَاعُوْا لَہٗ نَقْبًا

tah'as's'antu minhum bi-ah's'anil h'us'ooni famaas t'aa-o'o an'y yaz'haroohu wa mas tat'aa-o'o lahoo naqban

I have kept myself safe from Them inside fully fortified Enclosure, Neither they can come in at Daytime nor break in at night.

اٰوَیْتُ اِلٰی رُکْنٍ شَدِیْدٍ

wa awaytu ilaa ruknin shadeedin

I receive strong support.

وَ الْتَجَأتُ اِلٰی کَہْفٍ مَّنِیْعٍ وَّ تَمَسَّکْتُ بِالْحَبْلِ الْمَتِیْنِ

wat tajaa-tu illa kah'fim manee-i'n wa tamassaktu bil h'ablil mateen

I have entered the impregnable Sanctuary, And I cling and hold to the Steady rope.

وَ تَدَرَّعْتُ بِدِرْعِ اللهِ الْحَصِیْنَۃِ وَ تَدَرَّقْتُ بِدَرْقَۃِ اَمِیرِ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ عَلَیْہِ السَّلَامُ

wa qad raa'-tu bidir'i'l- laahil h' as'eenati wa tadarraqtu bidarqati ameeril moo-mineena a'layhis salaamu

I protect myself with the Reliable strength of Allah, With the shield of Ameerul Momineen, peace be on him

وَ تَعَوَّذْتُ بِعَوْذَتِہٖ وَ تَخَتَّمْتُ بِخَاتَمِ سُلَیْمَانَ بْنِ دَاؤٗدَ عَلَیْہِمَا السَّلاَمُ

wa ta-a'wwad'tu bi- a'wd'atihee wa takhattamtu bikhaatima sulaymaanibni daawuda a'layhimas saalaam

And take refuge with his Security, And put the seal-ring of Sulayman, son of Dawood Peace be on them, on my Finger.

فَاَنَا حَیْثَمَا سَلَکْتُ اٰمِنٌ مُطْمَئِنَّ

fa-anaa h'aythumaa salaktu aaminun mut'ma-innun

Wherever I go I find peace and Security,

وَّ عَدُوِّیْ فِی الْاَہْوَالِ حَیْرَانٌ قَدْ حُفَّ بِالْمَہَانَۃِ

wa a'duwwee fil ahwaali hayraanun qadh'uffa bil mahaanati

But my enemies are in disarray, Despised and ridiculed by one And all,

وَ اُلْبِسَ بِالْذُّلِّ وَ الصِّغَارِ وَ قُمِّعَ بِالصِّفَادِ

wa ulbisa bid'd'ulli was's'ighaari wa qummi-a'bis's'ifaadi

Wrapped in disgrace and Inferiority, Bound in chains.

وَ ضَرَبْتُ عَلٰی نَفْسِیْ سُرَادِقَ الْحَیَاطَۃِ

wa z'arabtu a'laa nafsee suraadiqal h' ayaati ati

I have set up protective Defence all around me,

وَ اَدخَلْتُ عَلَیَّ ہَیَا کِلَ الْہَیْبَۃِ

wa adkhaltu a'layya hayaakilal haybati

I am inside majestic palaces,

وَ تَتَوَّجْتُ بِتَاجِ الْکَرَامَۃِ

wa tatawwajtu bitaajil karaamati

Coronated with a dignified Crown,

وَ تَقَلَّدْتُّ بِسَیْفِ الْعِزِّ الَّذِیْ لاَ یُفَلُّ

wa taqalladtu bi-sayfil i'zzil lad'ee laa yufallu

The mighty ever-sharp sword in My hand,

وَ خَفِیْتُ عَنِ الْعُیُونِ وَ تَوَارَیْتُ عَنِ الظُّنُوْنِ

wa khafeetu a'nil u'yooni wa tawaaraytu a'niz' z'unoono

Beyond the visual range of evil Eyes, Away from the dubious Surmises.

وَ اَمِنْتُ عَلٰی رُوْحِیْ وَ سَلِمْتُ عَنْ اَعْدَآئِیْ

wa amintu a'laa rooh'ee wa salimtu a'n aa'-daaa-i-ee

My soul is at peace, Free from the danger of Enemies,

فَہُمْ لِیْ خَاضِعُوْنَ وَ عَنِّیْ خَآئِفُوْنَ وَ مِنِّیْ نَافِرُوْنَ

fahum lee khaaz' i-o'ona wa a'nnee khaaa-ifoona minnee naafiroona

Who have been tamed: and Afraid of me, are running away.

کَاَنَّہُمْ حُمُرٌ مُّسْتَنْفِرَۃٌفَرَّتْ

kaannahum h'umurum mustanfartun farrat

As wild asses take to flight, Scared of a lion.

مِنْ قَسْوَرَۃٍ قَصُرَتْ اَیْدِیْہِمْ عَنْ بُلُوْغِ

min qaswaratin qas'urat aydeehim a'n bulooghi

They are helpless to carry out Intrigues, which they planned against me.

مَا یُؤَمِّلُوْنَہٗ فِیَّ وَ صُمَّتْ اٰذَانُہُمْ عَنْ سَمَاعِ کَلاَمٍ

maa yooammiloonahoo fiyya wa s'ummat aad'aanuhum a'n simaa-i' kalaamin'y

Their ears have turned deaf To hearing slanders about me,

یُّؤْذِیْنِی وَ عَمِیَتْ اَبْصَارُہُمْ عَنِّیْ

yuw-d'eenee wa a'miyat abs'aaruhum a'nnee

Their eyes have been deprived of sight,

وَ خَرَسَتْ اَلْسِنَتُہُمْ عَنْ ذِکْرِیْ

wa kharasat alsinatuhum a'nd'ikree

Their tongues are unable to Speak (ill) of me,

وَ ذَہَلَتْ عُقُوْلُہُمْ عَنْ مَّعْرِفَتِیْ

wa d'ahalat u'qooluhum a'm maa' 'rifatee

Their minds are unfit to Identify me,

وَ تَخَوَّفَتْ وَ خَفَّتْ قُلُوْبُہُمْ مِنِّیْ

wa takhawwafat wa khaffat quloobuhum minnee

their hearts take fright and Sink low before me.

وَارْتَعَدَتْ فَرَائِصُہُمْ مِّنْ مَّخَافَتِیْ

wart-a'dat faraaa-is'uhum mim makhaafatee

Trembling they break off, Afraid of me,

وَانْفَلَّ حَدُّہُمْ وَانْکَسَرَتْ شَوْکَتُہُمْ

wan-falla h' adduhum wan kasarat shawkatuhum

Abandoning their aim, Their pomp and show ending In a fiasco,

وَانْحَلَّ عَزْمُہُمْ وَ تَشَتَّتْ جَمْعُہُمْ

wan-h'alla a'zmuhum wa tashattat jam-u'hum

Their determination is Crumbling, Their followers are deserting,

وَافْتَرَقَتْ اُمُوْرُہُمْ وَاخْتَلَفَتْ کَلِمَاتُہُمْ

waf-taraqat umooruhum wakh talafat kalimaatuhum

Their affairs are in a mess, Discord in their opinions,

وَ ضَعَفَ جُنْدُ ہُمْ وَانْہَزَمَ جَیْشُہُمْ

wa z' a-ufa junduhum wan hazama jayshuhum

their helpers are weakened, Their army is vanquished,

فَوَلَّوْا مُدْبِرِیْنَ سَیُہْزَمُ الْجَمْعُ

fawallaw mudbireena sayuhzamul jam-u'

As foretold those who return Back would be routed Altogether.

وَ یُوَلُّوْنَ الدُّبُرَ بَلِ السَّاعَۃُ مَوْعِدُ ہُمْ وَ السَّاعَۃُ اَدْہٰی وَ اَمَرُّ عَلَوْتُ عَلَیْہِمْ بِعُلُوِّ اللهِ الَّذِیْ کَانَ یَعْلُوْ بِہٖ عَلِیٌّ عَلَیْہِ السَّلاَمُ صَاحِبُ الْحُرُوْبِ وَ مُنَکِّسُ الرَّایَاتِ وَ مُفَرِّقُ الْاَقْرَانِ

wa yuwalloonad dubura balis saa-a'tu maw-i'duhum was saa-'tu adhaa wa amarru a'lawtu a'layhim bi-u'luwwil- laahil lad'ee kaana yaa'-loobihee a'liyyun a'layhis salaamu s' aah'ibul h'uroobi wa munakissur raayaati wa mufarriqul aqraan

Certainly this is the promised Hour, the hour of disaster, I break into pieces their Haughtiness by the sublime ness of Allah In the manner of Ali (peace be on him), the matchless warrior, who turned upside down antagonism, and pointed out suppositions and surmises.

وَ تَعَوَّذْتُ مِنْہُمْ بِالْاَسْمَآئِ الْحُسْنٰی وَ کَلِمَاتِہِ الْعُلْیَا

wa ta-a'wwad'tu minhumbil asmaa-il h'usnaa wa kalimaati- hil u'lyaa

I found favourable circumstances In the name of the Wonderful names and sublime verses of Allah.

وَ ظَہَرْتُ عَلٰی اَعْدَآئِیْ بِبَاسٍ شَدِیْدٍ وَّ اَمْرٍ عَتِیْدٍ وَّ اَذْلَلْتُہُمْ وَ قَمَعْتُ رُئُوْسَہُمْ

wa z'ahartu a'laa aa'-daaa-ee bibaasin shadeedin'w wa amrin a'teedin wa ad'laltuhum wa qamaa'-tu ru-oosahum

I beat my enemies black and Blue beyond repair, with Powerful blows, Their equipment is now in my Control, They are humbled, their ring- Leaders are exterminated.

وَ وَ طِئْتُ رِقَابَہُمْ وَ ظَلَّتْ اَعْنَاقُہُمْ لِیْ

wa wat'i-tu riqaabahum waz'allat aa'-naaquhum lee

Their guards and defenses lay In ruins, Their heads submissively hang In shame.

حَاضِعَۃً قَدْ خَابَ مَنْ نَّاوَانِیْ وَہَلَکَ مَنْ عَادَانِیْ

khaa'i-e'ena qad-khaaba man naawaanee wa halaka man a' adaanee

He who came after me has been waylaid, and he who Fought me has been liquidated.

فَاَنَا الْمُ ؤْیَّدُ الْمَحْبُوْرُ الْمُظَفَّرُ الْمَنْصُوْرُ

fa-anal mu-ayyadul mah'boorul muz'affarul mans'ooru

So I am victorious, happy, successful, triumphant.

قَدْ لَزِمَتْنِیْ کَلِمَۃُ التَّقْوٰی وَاسْتَمْسَکْتُ بِالْعُرْوَۃِ الْوُثْقٰی وَاعْتَصَمْتُ بِالْحَبْلِ الْمَتِیْنِ

qad lazimatnee kalimatut taqwaa wastamsaktu bil-u'rwatil wuthqaa waa'-tas'amtu bilh'ab- lil mateeni

Verily I faithfully adhere to Pious expression, and hold Fast the safest handle (Islam): The strong rope is in my grip.

فَلَنْ یَّضُرَّنِیْ بَغْیُ الْبَاغِیْنَ وَلاَ کَیْدُ الْکَآئِدِیئنَ وَلاَ حَسَدُ الْحَاسِدِیْنَ اَبَدَ الْاٰبِدِیْنَ وَ دَہَرَ الدَّاہِرِیْنَط

falayn'y yaz' urranee baghyul baagheena wa laa kaydul kaaa-ideena wa laa h'asadul h'aasideena abadal aabideena wa dahard dahireen

No more will the revolt of traitors, Deceit of imposters, or Ill-will of the greedy harm Me, till eternity.

فَلَنْ یَّرَانِی اَحَدٌ

falay'y yaraanee ah'adun'w

Never shall any one deceive Me.

وَّ لَنْ یَّجِدَنِٓیْ اَحَدٌ

wa lan'y yajidaneee ah'adun'w

Never shall any one hurt me.

وَّ لَنْ یَّقْدِرَ عَلَیَّ اَحَدٌ

wa lan'y yaqdira a'layya ah'adun

Never shall any one take me For granted.

قُلْ اِنَّمَا اَدْعُوْ رَبِّیْ لاَ اُشْرِکُ بِہٖ اَحَدًا

qul innamaa ad-o'o rabbee laa ushriku bihee ah'adan

Say: I call upon my Lord: and I do not associate any one with Him.

یَا مُتَفَضِّلُ تَفَضَّلْ عَلَیَّ بِالْاَمْنِ عَلٰی رُوْحِی

yaa mutafaz'z'ilu tafaz'z'al a'layya bil amni a' laa ruh'ee

O Bestower of bounties! Give Me peace of mind,

وَ السَّلاَمَۃِ مِنْ اَعْدَآئِی

was salaamati min aa'-daaa-ee

and protection against my enemies:

وَ حُلْ بَیْنِیْ وَ بَیْنَہُمْ بِالْمَلَآئِکَۃِ الْغِلاَظِ الشِّدَادِ

wa h'ul baynee wa baynahum bil malaaa-ikatil ghilaaz'ish shidaadi

and Appoint between me and them Exacting and active angels.

وَ اَیِّدْنِیْ بِالْجُنُوْدِ الْکَثِیْرَۃِ وَ الْاَرْوَاحِ الْمُطِیْعَۃِ

wa ayyidnee bil junoodil katheerati wal arwaah'il mut'ee-a'ti

Help me with a large army and Obedient assistants,

فَیَحْصِبُوْنَہُمْ بِالْحُجَّۃِ الْبَالِغَۃِ

fayah's'iboonahum bil h'ujjatil baalighati

who could turn them away with penetrating superior means,

وَ یَقْذِفُوْنَہُمْ بِالْاَحْجَارِ الدَّامِغَۃِ

wa yaqd'ifoonahum bil ah'jaarid daamighati

drive them away with death-dealing blows,

وَ یَضْرِبُوْنَہُمْ بِالسَّیْفِ الْقَاطِعِ

wa yaz' riboonahum bissayfil qaat'i-i'

hit them with Sharp swords,

وَ یَرْمُوْنَہُمْ بِالشَّہَابِ الثَّاقِبِ

wa yarmoonahum bishshihaabith thaaqibi

shoot at them burning fireballs,

وَ الْحَرِیْقِ اللَّاہِبِ وَ الشُّوَاظِ الْمُحْرِقِ

wal h' areeqil laahibi washshuwaaz' il muh'riqi

burn them with consuming heat, reduce them to ashes with blazing flames.

وَ یُقْذَفُوْنَ مِنْ کُلِّ جَانِبٍ دُحُوْرًا

wa yuqd' afoona min kulli jaanibi duh'ooran

Under attack from all sides,

وَّ لَہُمْ عَذَابٌ وَّاصِبٌ

'w wa lahum a'd'aabun'w was'ibun

in perpetual torment,

اِلاَّ مَنْ خَطِفَ الْخَطْفَۃَ اِنِّیْ قَذَفْتُہُمْ

illaa man khat'ifal khat' fata innee qad'aftuhum

except Him who is torn off by a wild beast (death)

وَ رَجَزْتُہُمْ وَ دَہَرْتُہُمْ وَ غَلَبْتُہُمْ

wa rajaztuhum wa dahartuhum wa ghalabtuhum

I attacked, challenged, came Upon, and overpowered Them,

بِبِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ وَ طٰہٰ وَ یٰسٓ

bibismil- laahir-rah'maanir rah'eem wa t'aahaa wa yaaseeen

with the help of 'Bismillaahir-Rah' maanir-Raheem', 'T'aahaa', 'Yaa Seeen',

وَ الذَّارِیَاتِ وَ الطَّواسِیْنَ وَ التَّنْزِیْلَ

wad'd'aariyaati wat't'uwaseena wattanzeela

'D' aariyaat', 'T'uwaseen' 'Tanzeel',

وَ الْحَوَامِیْمَ وَ کٓہٰیٰعٓصٓ وَ حٰمٓ عٓسٓقٓ وَ قٓ

wal h'awaameema wa kaaaf-haa-yaa-a'yyyn s'aaad wa h'aa-meeem-a'yyyn- seen-qaaaf wa qaaf

'H'awaameem' revelaton and wisdom, 'Kaaaf-Haa-Yaa-A'yyyn S'aaad' 'H'aa-Meeem: A'yyyn-Seeen-Qaaaf' 'Qaaf'

وَ الْقُرْاٰنِ الْمَجِیْدِ وَ نٓ وَ الْقَلَمِ وَمَا یَسْطُرُوْنَ

wal qur-aanil majeed wa noon wal qalami wa maa yust'uroona

of the Holy Quraan, 'Noon', 'the pen and 'what is written',

وَ بِمَوَاقِعِ النُّجُوْمِ وَ الطُّوْرِ

wa bimawaaqi-i'n nujoomi wat't'oori

'stages of the stars':, 'T'oor',

وَ کِتَابٍ مَّسْطُوْرٍ فِیْ رَقٍّ مَّنْشُوْرٍ

wa kitaabim mast'oorin fee raqqim manshoorin

'The written Book, spread in pages',

وَ الْبَیْتِ الْمَعْمُوْرِ

wal baytil maa'-moori

'The House in heaven above the Kaa'-bah',

وَ السَّقْفِ الْمَرْفُوْعِ وَ الْبَحْرِ الْمَسْجُوْرِ

was saqfil marfoo-i' wal bah'ril masjoori

'The raised skies:' 'The swelling sea'.

اِنْ عَذَابَ رَبَّکَ لَوَاقِعٌ مَّالَہٗ مِنْ دَافِعٍ

inna a'd' aaba rabbika lawaaqi-um maa laahoo min daafi-i'n

Verily, the wrath of your Lord Will fall on, which no one Can put off.

فَوَلَّوْا مُدْبِرِیْنَ وَ عَلٰی اَعْقَابِہِمْ نَاکِصِیْنَ وَ اَصْبَحُوْا فِیْ دِیَارِہِمْ جٰثِمِیْنَ

fawallaw mudbireena wa a'laa aa' 'qaabihim naakis'eena wa as'bah'oo fee diyaarihim jaathimeena

So they went backwards, Showing their heels; Isolated, sat in their homes, Sleepy and gloomy.

فَوَقَعَ الْحَقُّ وَ بَطَلَ مَا کَانُوْا یَعْمَلُوْنَ

fawaqa-a'l h'aqqu wa bat'ala maa kaanoo yaa'-maloona

Truth won, And what they were doing had Been rendered useless.

فَغُلِبُوْا ہُنَالِکَ وَ انْقَلَبُوْا صَاغِرِیْنَ

faghuliboo hunaalika wanqalaboo s'aaghireena

Overpowered, overthrown, Humbled.

وَ اُلْقِیَ السَّحَرَۃُ سَاجِدِیْنَ

wa ulqiyas sah'aratu saajideen

Spell of magic broken: there was total submission.

فَوَقٰہُ اللهُ سَیِّئَاتِ مَا مَکَرُوْا

fawaqaahullaahu sayyi-aati maa makaroo

So Allah protected him (Moosa) from the evil tricks,

وَ حَاقَ بِہِمْ مَّا کَانُوْا بِہٖ یَسْتَہْزِئُ وْنَ

wa h'aaqa bihim maa kaanoo bihee yastahzi-oona

and put an end to their intentions, and to their comical ridicule,

وَحَاقَ بِاٰلِ فِرْعَوْنَ سُوْٓئَ الْعَذَابِ

wa h'aaqa bi-aali fir-a'wna sooo-il a'd'aabi

and brought down severe punishment upon the people of pharaoh:

وَ مَکَرُوْا وَ مَکََرَ اللهُ

wa makaroo wa makarallaah

and the deceitful artifice was frustrated by the Divine wisdom.

وَ اللهُ خَیْرُ الْمَاکِرِیْنَ

wallaahu khayrul maakireen

Allah is the best planner.

اَلَّذِیْنَ قَالَ لَہُمُ النَّاسُ اِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ جَمَعُوْا لَکُمْ

al-lad'eena qaala lahumun naasu innan naasa qad jama-o'o lakum

Some people tried to scare a Group of ( faithful ) men by Telling them that an united Crowd was planning to hurt Them,

فَاخْشَوْ ہُمْ فَزَادَہُمْ اِیْمَانًا

fakshawhum fazaadahum eemaanan

but their faith grew more Strong,

وَّ قَالُوْا حَسْبُنَا اللهُ وَ نِعْمَ الْوَکِیْلُ

wa qaaloo h'asbunallaahu wa nia'-mal wakeel

And they said 'Allah is Sufficient for us. He is the Best Protector'.

فَانْقَلَبُوْا بِنِعْمَۃٍ مِّنَ اللهِ

fanqalaboo bi-nia' matim minallaahi

From Allah favours and Bounties came in for them,

وَ فَضْلٍ لَّمْ یَمْسَسْہُمْ سُوْٓئٌ

wa faz'lil lam yamsas-hum sooo-un

And the evil touched them not,

وَّاتَّبَعُوْا رِضْوَانَ اﷲِ

wat-taba-o'o riz'waanallaah

Because they obediently Aspired for Allah's blessings.

وَ اللهُ ذُوْ فَضْلٍ عَظِیْمٍ

wallaahu d'oo faz'lin azeem

Allah is the Possessor of Abundant favours.

اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَعُوْذُبِکَ مِنْ شُرُوْرِہِمْ

allaahumma innee a-o'od'u bika min shuroorihim

O Allah, I seek Thy protection Against their evil designs,

وَ اَدْرَئُبِکَ فِیْ نُحُوْرِہِمْ

wa adra-u bika fee nuh'oorihim

And Thou will nip in the bud Their opposition.

وَ اَسْئَلُکَ مِنْ خَیْرِ مَا عِنْدَکَ یَا اَللهُ

wa as-a-luka min khayri maa i'ndaka yaa allaahu

I ask for the good, which is With Thee, O Allah.

فَسَیَکْفِیْکَہُمُ اللهُ وَ ہُوَ السَّمِیْعُ الْعِلِیْمُ

fasayak-feekahumul- laahu huwas samee-u'l a'leem

'Verily soon you will find that Allah is sufficient for you. He is (the Best) Hearer, Knower.

جِبْرَائِیْلُ عَنْ یَّمِیْنِیْ وَ مِیْکَآئِیْلُ عَنْ یَّسَآرِیْ

jibraa-eelu a'n yameenee wa meekaaa-eelu a'n yasaaa-ree

'Jibraa-eel is on my right hand, Meekaa-eel is on my left,

وَ مُحَمَّدٌ صَلَّی اللهُ عَلَیْہِ وَ اٰلِہٖ اَمَامِیْ

wa muh'ammadun s'allallaahu a'layhi wa aalihee amaamee

Muhammad (blessings of Allah Be on him and his descendents is in front,

وَ اَمِیْرُ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ عَلَیْہِ السَّلاَمُ وَ رَآئِیْ

wa ameerul moo-mineena a'layhis salaamu waraaa-ee

Ameerul Moomineen, peace be On him, is on my back,

وَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی مُظِلٌّ عَلَیَّ

wallaahu ta-a'alaa muz'illun a'layya

and Allah, the High, stays continually near over me.

یَا مَنْ جَعَلَ بَیْنَ الْبَحْرَیْنِ حَاجِزًا

yaa man ja-a'la baynal bah'rayni h'aajizan

O He who put a barrier Between the two seas,

اُحْجُبْ بَّیْنِیْ وَ بَیْنَ اَعْدَآئِیْ

uh'jub baynee wa bayna aa'-daaa-ee

Draw a curtain between me And my enemies,

فَلَنْ یَّصِلُوْا اِلَیَّ اَبَدًا بِشَیْئٍ یَّسُوْئُ نِیْ

falan yas'iloo ilayya abdan bishay-in yasoo-u nee

So that no harm may reach Me.

وَ بَیْنِیْ وَ بَیئنَہُمْ سِتْرُ اللهِ

wa baynee wa baynahum sitrullaahi

Between me and my enemies Allah is the shield.

اِنَّ سِتْرَ اللهِ کَانَ مَحْفُوْظًا

inna sitrallaahi kaana mah'fooz'an

Verily Allah's shield is the Safest.

حَسْبِیَ اللهُ الَّذِیْ یَکْفِیْ

h'asbiyallaahul lad'ee yakfee

Allah is sufficient to protect Me,

مَا لاَ یَکْفِیْ اَحَدٌ سِوَاہُ

maa laa yakfee ah'adun siwaahu

There is no one who can Protect me except Him.

وَ اِذَا قَرَاْتَ الْقُرْاٰنَ جَعَلْنَا بِیْنَکَ وَ بَیْنَ الَّذِیْنَ لاَ یُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِالْاٰخِرَۃِ حِجَابًا مَّسْتُوْرًا

wa id'aa qaraa-tal qur-aana ja-a'lnaa baynaka wa baynal lad'eena laa yoo-minoona bil-aakhirati h'ijaabam mastooran

'When you recite the Holy Quran, We ( Allah) draw an invisible Curtain between you and those Who do not believe in the Hereafter,

وَّ جَعَلْنَا عَلٰی قُلُوْبِہِمْ اَکِنَّۃً

wa ja-a'lnaa a' laa quloobihim akinnatan

And make their minds senile,

اَنْ یَّفْقَہُوْہُ وَ فِی اٰذَانِہِمْ وَقْرًا

an yafqahoohu wa fee aad'aanihim waqran

And their ears deaf,

وَ اِذَا ذَکَرْتَ رَبَّکَ فِی الْقُرْاٰنِ وَحْدَہٗ وَلَّوْا عَلٰٓی اَدْبَارِہِمْ نُفُوْرًا

wa id'aa d'akarta rabbaka fil qur-aani wah'dahoo wallaw a'laa adbaarihim nufooraa

When you recite (in Quran) That Allah is one they turn Sour in aversion.

اِنَّا جَعَلْنَا فِیْٓ اَعْنَاقِہِمْ اَغْلٰلاً فَہِیَ اِلَی الْاَذْقَانِ فَہُمْ مُقْمَحُوْنَ

innaa ja-a'lnaa feee aa'-naa-qihim aghlaalan fahiya ilal ad'qaani fahum muqmah'oon

Verily We have put on their Necks chains reaching unto the Chins, so that they are made Stiff-necked.

وَ جَعَلْنَا مِنْ بَیْنِ اَیْدِیْہِمْ سَدًّا وَّ مِنْ خَلْفِہِمْ سَدًّا فَاَغْشَیْنَا ہُمْ فَہُمْ لاَ یُبْصِرُوْنَ

wa ja-a'lnaa mim bayni aydeehim saddan'w wa min khalfihim saddan fa-aghshaynaa hum fahum laa yubs'iroon

And We have set a bar before Them and a bar behind them, And (thus) have covered them So that they see not.

اَللّٰہُمَّ اضْرِبْ عَلَیَّ سُرَادِقَ حِفْظِکَ الَّذِیْ لاَ تَہْتِکُہُ الرِّیَاحُ وَلاَ تَخْرِقُہٗ الرِّمَاحُ

allaahummaz'-rib a'layya suraadiqa h'ifz'ikal lad'ee laa tahtikuhur riyaah'u wa laa takhriquhur rimaah'u

'O Allah, draw Thy protective Curtains around me, that cannot be disheveled by Blowing winds, Nor can be pierced by spears.

وَقِ رُوْحِیْ بِرُوْحِ قَدْسِکَ الَّذِیْ مَنْ اَلْقَیْتَہٗ عَلَیْہِ اَصْبَحَ مُعَظَّمًا فِیْ عُیُوْنِ النَّاظِرِیْنَ

wa laa takhriquhur rimaah'u waqi rooh'ee bi-rooh'i qudsikal lad'ee man-al qaytahoo a'layhi as'bah'a mu-az'z'aman fee u'-yoonin naaz'ireena

Through Thy Holy Spirit save My soul, for whoso comes Under its cover, is reverently Looked upto,

وَ کَبِیْرًا فِیْ صُدُوْرِ الْخَلْقِ اَجْمَعِیْنَ

wa kabeeran fee s'udooril khalqi ajma-e'en

And it creates awe and fear in the hearts of all the created Beings.

وَ وَفِّقْ لِیْ بِاَسْمَآئِکَ الْحُسْنٰی وَ اَمْثَالِکَ الْعُلْیَا

wa waffiq lee bi-asmaaa-ikal h'usnaa wa amthaalikal u'lyaa

Allow me to recite Thy Beautiful names, And remember Thy high Similitues.

وَاجْعَلْ صَلاَحِیْ فِیْ جَمِیْعِ مَا اُئَمِّلُہٗ مِنْ خَیْرِ الدُّنْیَا وَ الْاٰخِرَۃِ

waj-a'l s'alaah'ee fee jamee-i' maa u-ammiluhoo min khayrid dunyaa wal aakhirah

Give me peace and goodness In that which I aspire for this Worldly life, and for the Hereafter.

وَاصْرِفْ عَنِّیْ اَبْصَارَ النَّاظِرِیْنَ

was'rif a'nnee abs'aaran naaz'ireena

Turn away the eyes of intense Starer,

وَاصْرِفْ قُلُوْبَہُمْ مِّنْ شَرِّ مَا یُضْمِرُوْنَ اِلٰی خَیْرِ

was'rifquloobahum min sharri maa yuz'miroona ilaa khayri

And substitute the hatred, Concealed in their hearts, with Goodwill,

مَا لاَ یَمْلِکُہٗ اَحَدٌ

maa laa yamilikuhoo ah'ad

Which no one can do (except Thee).

اَللّٰہُمَّ اَنْتَ مَلاَذِیْ فَبِکَ اَلُوْذُ

allaahumma anta malaad'ee fabika alood'u

O Allah, Thou art my Sanctuary, Therefore, I take refuge with Thee.

وَ اَنْتَ عَیَاذِیْ فَبِکَ اَعُوْذُ

wa anta a'yaad'ee fabika a-o'od'u

Thou art my support, Therefore, I seek Thy protection.

یَا مَنْ ذَلَّتْ لَہٗ رِقَابُ الْجَبَابِرَۃِ

yaa man d' allat lahoo riqaabul jibaabirati

O He before Whom the Arrogant necks bow down,

وَ خَضَعَتْ لَہٗ اَعْنَاقُ الْفَرَاعِنَۃِ

wa khaz' a-a't lahoo aa'-naaqul firaa-i'nah

and the heads of pharaohs Bent low in submission.

اَجِرْنِیْ مِنْ خِزْیِکَ وَ مِنْ کَشْفِ سِتْرِکَ

ajirnee min khiz-yika wa min kashfi sitrika

Make me steady and careful Not be put to shame, Not to leave Thy protective Shield,

وَ مِنْ نِسْیَانِ ذِکْرِکَ وَ الْاِنْصِرَافِ عَنْ شُکْرِکَ

wa min nisyaani d'ikrika wal ins'iraafi a'n shukrik

Not to forget Thy remembrance, Not to be ungrateful to Thee.

اَنَا فِیْ کَنَفِکَ فِیْ لَیْلِیْ وَ نَہَارِیْ

anaa fee kanfika fee laylee wa nahaaree

I remain under Thy protection, In darkness, or in daytime,

وَ وَطَنِیْ وَ اَسْفَارِیْ

wa wat'anee wa asfaaree

At home, or in journey.

ذِکْرُکَ شِعَارِیْ وَ الثَّنَآئُ عَلَیْکَ دِثَارِیْ

d'ikruka shi-a'aree wath-thanaaa-u a'layka dithaaree

Thy remembrance is my habit, Thy glorification is my routine.

اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنَّ خَوْفِیْ اَصْبَحَ وَ اَمْسٰی مُسْتَجِیْرًا بِاَمَانِکَ

allaahumma inna khawfee as'bah'a wa amsaa mustajeeran bi-amaanika

O Allah, day in and day out My fear seeks Thy peaceful Sanctuary:

فَاَجِرْنِیْ مِنْ خِزْیِکَ وَ مِنْ شَرِّ عِبَادِکَ

fa-ajirnee min khiz-yhika wa min sharri i'baadika

So keep away Thy displeasure, And the hatred of Thy servants From me.

وَاضْرِبْ عَلَیَّ سُرَادِقَ حِفْظِکَ

waz'rib a'layya suraadiqu h'ifz'ika

Surround me with Thy Protective shield,

وَ اَدْخِلْنِیْ فِیْ حِفْظِ عِنَایَتِکَ

wa adkhilnee fee h'ifz'i a'naayatika

And take me in under the Canvass of Thy favours.

وَقِ رُوْحِیْ بِخَیْرٍ مِّنْکَ

waqi roohiee bi-khayrin minka

Deliver my soul through Thy Generosity.

وَاکْفِنِیْ مِنْ مَّ ؤُنَۃِ اِنْسَانِ سَوْئٍ

wakfinee mim maw-unati insaanin sooo-in

Set me free from the necessity Of going to wicked men for Help.

وَّ اَعُوْذُبِکَ مِنْ قَرِیْنِ سَوْئٍ وَّ سَاعَۃِ سَوْئٍ

wa-a-o'od'u bika min qareenin sooo-in wa saa-a'ti sooo-in

I seek Thy support to avoid Corrupt companions, Ominous moments,

وَ شَمَاتَۃِ الْاَعْدَآئِ وَ جَہْدِ الْبَلَآئِ

wa shamaatatil aa'-daaa-i wa jahdil balaaa-i

Hostile enemies, Threatening calamities.

وَ اَعُوْذُ بِکَ مِنْ طَوَارِقِ اللَّیْلِ وَ النَّہَارِ

wa a-o'od'u bika min t'awaariqil layli wan nahaari

I take refuge with Thee from The ups and downs of day-to-day life,

اِلاَّ طَارِقًا یَّطْرُقُ بِخَیْرٍ بِرَحْمَتِکَ

illaa t'aariqan yat'ruqu bi-khayrin bi-rah'matika

Except those events which follow the safe and true track, On account of Thy mercy,

یَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِیْنَ

yaa arh'amar raah'imeen

O the Most Merciful.

وَّ صَلَّی اللهُ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ اٰلِہِ الطَّاہِرِیْنَ

wa s'allallaahu a'laa muh'ammadin'w wa aalihit't'aahireen

Sent blessings on Mohammad and on his pure descendents.

حَسْبُنَا اللهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَکِیْلُ

h'asbunallaahu wa nia'-mal wakeelu

Allah is sufficient for me, He is the Best Protector,

نِعْمَ الْمَوْلٰی وَ نِعْمَ النَّصِیْرُ

nia'-mal mawlaa wa nia'-man nas'eer

The Best Master, The Best Supporter.

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ وَ الضُّحٰی. وَ الَّیْلِ اِذَا سَجٰی. مَا وَدَّعَکَ رَبُّکَ وَمَا قَلٰی. وَلَلْاٰخِرَۃُ خَیْرٌ لَّکَ مِنَ الْاُوْلٰی. وَ لَسَوْفَ یُعْطِیْکَ رَبُّکَ فَتَرْضٰی. اَلَمْ یَجِدْکَ یَتِیْمًا فَاٰوٰی. وَ وَجَدَکَ ضَآلاًّ فَہَدٰی. وَ وَجَدَکَ عَآئِلاً فَاَغْنٰی. فَاَمَّا الْیَتِیْمَ فَلاَ تَقْہَرْ. وَاَمَّا السَّآئِلَ فَلاَ تَنْہَرْ. وَاَمَّا بِنِعْمَۃِ رَبِّکَ فَحَدِّثْ.

bismillaahir- rah'maanir-rah'eem waz'z'uh'aa wal layli id'aa sajaa maa wadda-a'ka rabbuka wa maa qalaa wa lal-aakhiratu khayrul laka minal oolaa wala-sawfa yua'-eeka rabbuka fatarz'aa alam yajidka yateeman' fa-aawaa wa wajadaka z'aaallan' fahadaa wa wajadaka a' aa-ilan' fa-aghnaa fa-aghnaa fa-ammal-yateema falaa taqhar wa ammassaaa-ila falaa tanhar wa ammaa bi-nia'-mati rabbika fah'addith allaahumma s'alli a'laa muh'ammadin'w wa aali muh'ammad.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.'By the brightness of the day, and the night when it is quietest: Your Lord has not forsaken You, nor He is angry with you.Verily that which is to come Will be better for you than That which is past.Soon your Lord will give unto You so that you will be content.Did He not find you an Orphan and take care? Did He not find you wandering And show the (Right) Direction? Did He not find you a destitute And make independent? So oppress not an orphan: Turn not away the needy, But call out the favours and Bounties of your Lord.O Allah, send blessings on Muhammad and on the Progeny of Muhammad.
