الْحَمْدُ للهِ رِضًى بِحُكْمِ اللهِ،
All praise is for Allah, in satisfaction with His decree.
- 2
شَهِدْتُ أَنَّ اللهَ قَسَمَ مَعَايِشَ عِبَادِهِ بِالْعَدْلِ،
I bear witness that Allah divided the livelihoods of His servants with justice.

وَأَخَذَ عَلَى جَمِيعِ خَلْقِهِ بِالْفَضْلِ.
And He deals with all His creation with grace.
- 4
أللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ،
O Allah, bless Muhammad and his family.
- 5
وَلاَ تَفْتِنِّي بِمَا أَعْطَيْتَهُمْ،
And do not test me with what You have given them.
- 6
وَلاَ تَفْتِنْهُمْ بِمَا مَنَعْتَنِي،
And do not test them with what You withheld from me.
- 7
فَأحْسُدَ خَلْقَكَ، وَأَغْمِطَ حُكْمَكَ.
So that I do not envy Your creation, nor reject Your judgment.

أللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ،
O Allah, bless Muhammad and his family.

وَطَيِّبْ بِقَضَائِكَ نَفْسِي،
And make my soul content with Your decree.
- 10
وَوَسِّعْ بِمَوَاقِعِ حُكْمِكَ صَدْرِي،
And expand my chest through the places of Your judgment.
- 11
وَهَبْ لِي الثِّقَةَ لأُقِرَّ مَعَهَا،
And grant me trust so that I acknowledge with it—
- 12
بِأَنَّ قَضَاءَكَ لَمْ يَجْرِ إلاَّ بِالْخِيَرَةِ.
That Your decree runs only with wisdom and goodness.

وَاجْعَلْ شُكْرِي لَكَ عَلَى مَا زَوَيْتَ عَنِّي،
And make my gratitude to You for what You withheld from me—
- 14
أَوْفَرَ مِنْ شُكْرِي إِيَّاكَ عَلَى مَا خَوَّلْتَنِي.
Greater than my gratitude for what You granted me.
- 15
وَاعْصِمْنِي مِنْ أَنْ أَظُنَّ بِذِي عَدَمٍ خَسَاسَةً،
And protect me from thinking the poor are lowly.
- 16
أَوْ أَظُنَّ بِصَاحِبِ ثَرْوَةٍ فَضْلًا.
Or from thinking that the wealthy have virtue.
- 17
فَإنَّ الشَّرِيفَ مَنْ شَرَّفَتْهُ طَاعَتُكَ،
For the noble one is he whom Your obedience ennobles.
- 18
وَالْعَزِيزَ مَنْ أَعَزَّتْهُ عِبَادَتُكَ.
And the mighty is he whom Your worship strengthens.
- 19
فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ،
So bless Muhammad and his family.
- 20
وَمَتِّعْنَا بِثَرْوَةٍ لاَ تَنْفَدُ،
And grant us an endless wealth.
- 21
وَأَيِّدْنَا بِعِزٍّ لاَ يُفْقَدُ،
And support us with a strength that never vanishes.
- 22
وَأَسْرِحْنَا فِيْ مُلْكِ الأَبَدِ،
And let us roam freely in the kingdom of eternity.
- 23
إنَّكَ الْوَاحِدُ الأَحَدُ الصَّمَدُ،
Indeed, You are the One, the Only, the Eternal Refuge.

الَّذِي لَمْ تَلِدْ وَلَمْ تُولَدْ،
The One who neither begets nor is begotten.
- 25
وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَكَ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ.
And none is comparable to You.

الْحَمْدُ للهِ رِضىً بِحُكْمِ اللهِ ،
1.Praise belongs to God in satisfaction with God's decision!

شَهِدْتُ أَنَّ اللهَ قَسَمَ مَعَايِشَ عِبَادِهِ بِالْعَدْلِ ،
2.I bear witness that God has apportioned the livelihoods of His servants with justice

وَأَخَذَ عَلَى جَمِيْعِ خَلْقِهِ بِالْفَضْلِ.
3.and undertaken bounty for all His creatures.

أللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ،
4.O God, bless Muhammad and his Household,
- 30
وَلاَ تَفْتِنِّي بِمَا أَعْطَيْتَهُمْ
5.tempt me not with what You hast given to Your creatures
- 31
وَلا تَفْتِنْهُمْ بِمَا مَنَعْتَنِي فَأحْسُدَ خَلْقَكَ، وَأَغْمِطَ حُكْمَكَ.
6.and tempt them not with what You hast withheld from me, lest I envy Your creatures and despise Your decision!

أللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِـهِ،
7.O God, bless Muhammad and his Household,
- 33
وَطَيِّبْ بِقَضَائِـكَ نَفْسِي
8.delight my soul through Your decree,
- 34
وَوَسِّعْ بِمَـواقِعِ حُكْمِكَ صَدْرِي
9.expand my breast through the instances of Your decision,
- 35
وَهَبْ لِي الثِّقَةَ لأُقِرَّ مَعَهَا
10.give to me a trust through which I may admit
- 36
بِأََنَّ قَضَاءَكَ لَمْ يَجْرِ إلاَّ بِالْخِيَرَةِ
11.that Your decree runs only to the best,
- 37
وَاجْعَلْ شُكْرِي لَكَ عَلَى مَا زَوَيْتَ عَنّي
12.and let my gratitude to You for what You hast taken away from me
- 38
أَوْفَرَ مِنْ شُكْرِي إيَّاكَ عَلَى مَا خَوَّلْتَنِي
13.be more abundant than my gratitude to You for what You hast conferred upon me!
- 39
وَاعْصِمْنِي مِن أنْ أظُنَّ بِذِي عَدْم خَسَاسَةً،
14.Preserve me from imagining any meanness in someone who is destitute
- 40
أَوْ أَظُنَّ بِصَاحِبِ ثَرْوَة فَضْلاً،
15.or imagining any superiority in someone who possesses wealth,
- 41
فَإنَّ الشَّرِيفَ مَنْ شَرَّفَتْهُ طَاعَتُكَ،
16.for the noble is he whom obedience to You has ennobled
- 42
وَالْعَزِيزَ مَنْ أَعَزَّتْهُ عِبَادَتُكَ.
17.and the exalted is he whom worship of You has exalted!
- 43
فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ
18.So bless Muhammad and his Household,
- 44
وَمَتِّعْنَا بِثَرْوَة لاَ تَنْفَدُ، وَأَيِّدْنَا بِعِزٍّ لاَ يُفْقَدُ
19.give us to enjoy a wealth which does not run out, confirm us with an exaltation which will never be lost,
- 45
وَأَسْرِحْنَا فِيْ مُلْكِ الأَبَدِ
20.and let us roam freely in the kingdom of everlastingness!
- 46
إنَّكَ الْوَاحِدُ الأَحَدُ الصَّمَدُ
21.Surely You art the One, 'the Unique, the Eternal Refuge;
- 47
الَّذِي لَمْ تَلِدْ وَلَمْ تُولَدْ
22.You hast not begotten, nor hast You been begotten,
- 48
وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَكَ كُفُواً أَحَدٌ.
23.and equal to You is not any one' (ref.112:1-4)!
