أَللَّهُمَّ إنَّ هذَيْن آيَتَانِ مِنْ آياتِكَ،
1O God, these are two of Your signs
- 37
وَهذَين عَوْنَانِ مِنْ أَعْوَانِكَ
2and these are two of Your helpers.
- 38
يَبْتَدِرَانِ طَاعَتَكَ بِرَحْمَة نَافِعَة أَوْ نَقِمَة ضَارَّة،
3They rush to obey You with beneficial mercy or injurious vengeance,
- 39
فَلاَ تُمْطِرْنَا بِهِمَا مَطَرَ السَّوْءِ،
4so rain not down upon us from them the evil rain
- 40
وَلا تُلْبِسْنَـا بِهِمَا لِبَاسَ الْبَلاَءِ.
5and clothe us not through them in the garment of affliction!
- 41
صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ
6O God, bless Muhammad and his Household,
- 42
وَأَنْزِلْ عَلَيْنَا نَفْعَ هَذِهِ السَّحَائِبِ وَبَرَكَتَهَا،
7send down upon us the benefit of these clouds and their blessing,
- 43
وَاصْرِفْ عَنَّا أَذَاهَا وَمَضَرَّتَهَا،
8turn away from us their harm and their injury,
- 44
وَلا تُصِبْنَا فِيْهَا بآفَة،
9strike us not through them with blight,
- 45
وَلا تُرْسِلْ عَلَى مَعَايِشِنَا عَاهَةً.
10and loose not upon our livelihoods any bane!

أللَّهُمَّ وَإنْ كُنْتَ بَعَثْتَهَا نَقِمَةً وَأَرْسَلْتَهَا سَخْطَةً
11O God, if You hast incited them as vengeance and loosed them in anger,
- 47
فَإنَّا نَسْتَجِيْرُكَ مِنْ غَضَبِكَ،
12we seek sanctuary with You from Your wrath
- 48
وَنَبْتَهِلُ إلَيْكَ فِي سُؤَالِ عَفْوِكَ،
13and implore You in asking Your pardon!
- 49
فَمِلْ بِالْغَضَبِ إلَى الْمُشْـركِينَ،
14So incline with wrath toward the idolaters
- 50
وَأَدِرْ رَحَى نَقِمَتِـكَ عَلَى الْمُلْحِـدينَ.
15and set the millstone of Your vengeance turning upon the heretics
- 51
أللَّهُمَّ أَذْهِبْ مَحْلَ بِلاَدِنَا بِسُقْيَاكَ،
16O God, take away the barrenness of our lands with Your watering,
- 52
وَأَخْرِجْ وَحَرَ صُدُورِنَا بِرِزْقِكَ،
17dislodge the malice from our breasts with Your providing,
- 53
وَلاَ تَشْغَلْنَا عَنْكَ بِغَيْرِكَ،
18distract us not from You through other than You,
- 54
وَلاَ تَقْطَعْ عَنْ كَافَّتِنَا مَادَّةَ بِرِّكَ،
19and cut none of us off from the stuff of Your goodness,
- 55
فَإنَّ الغَنِيَّ مَنْ أَغْنَيْتَ،
20for the rich is he to whom You hast given riches,
- 56
وَإنَّ السَّالِمَ مَنْ وَقَيْتَ،
21and the safe he whom You hast protected!
- 57
مَا عِنْدَ أَحَد دُونَكَ دِفَـاعٌ،
22No one has any defense against You,
- 58
وَلاَ بِأَحَد عَنْ سَطْوَتِكَ امْتِنَاعٌ،
23nor any means to bar Your penalty.
- 59
تَحْكُمُ بِمَا شِئْتَ عَلَى مَنْ شِئْتَ،
24You decidest what You wilt for whom You wilt
- 60
وَتَقْضِي بِمَـا أَرَدْتَ فِيمَنْ أَرَدْتَ.
25and You decreest what You desirest for any whom You desirest!
- 61
فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَلَى مَا وَقَيْتَنَا مِنَ الْبَلاءِ،
26So to You belongs praise for protecting us from affliction
- 62
وَلَكَ الشُّكْرُ عَلَى مَا خَوَّلْتَنَا مِنَ النّعْمَاءِ
27and to You belongs thanks for conferring upon us blessings,
- 63
حَمْداً يُخَلِّفُ حَمْدَ الْحَامِدِينَ وَرَاءَهُ،
28a praise which will leave behind the praise of the praisers,
- 64
حَمْداً يَمْلاُ أَرْضَهُ وَسَمَاءَهُ
29a praise which will fill the earth and the heaven!
- 65
إنَّـكَ الْمَنَّانُ بِجَسِيمِ الْمِنَنِ،
30Surely You art the All-kind through immense kindnesses,
- 66
الْوَهَّابُ لِعَظِيمِ النِّعَمِ،
31the Giver of abounding favours,
- 67
القَابِلُ يَسِيْرَ الْحَمْدِ،
32the Accepter of small praise,
- 68
الشَّاكِرُ قَلِيْلَ الشُّكْرِ،
33the Grateful for little gratitude,
- 69
الْمُحْسِنُ الْمُجْمِلُ ذُو الطَّوْلِ
34the Beneficent, the Benevolent, Possessor of graciousness!
- 70
لا إلهَ إلاّ أَنْتَ إلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ.
35There is no god but Thou; unto You is the homecoming
