Ziyarat Rajabiyah

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي اشْهَدَنَا مَشْهَدَ اوْلِيَائِهِ فِي رَجَبٍ

alhamdu lillahi alladhi ashhadana mashhada awliya'ihi fi rajabin

All praise be to Allah Who has allowed us to visit the shrine of His Saints in Rajab

وَاوْجَبَ عَلَيْنَا مِنْ حَقِّهِمْ مَا قَدْ وَجَبَ

wa awjaba `alayna min haqqihim ma qad wajaba

and made obligatory upon us fulfilling our duties towards them.

وَصَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ ٱلْمُنْتَجَبِ

wa salla allahu `ala muhammadin almuntajabi

May Allah send blessings to Muhammad, the divinely selected,

وَعَلَىٰ اوْصِيَائِهِ ٱلْحُجُبِ

wa `ala awsiya'ihi alhujubi

and upon his Successors—the doors to Him.

اَللَّهُمَّ فَكَمَا اشْهَدْتَنَا مَشْهَدَهُمْ

allahumma fakama ashhadtana mashhadahum

O Allah, just as You have allowed us to visit their shrines,

فَانْجِزْ لَنَا مَوْعِدَهُمْ

fa-anjiz lana maw`idahum

please do fulfill for us the promises You have made with them,

وَاوْرِدْنَا مَوْرِدَهُمْ

wa awridna mawridahum

include us with them,

غَيْرَ مُحَلَّئِينَ عَنْ وِرْدٍ

ghayra muhalla'ina `an wirdin

and include us with those whom shall not be prevented from drinking from the (Divine) Pool

فِي دَارِ ٱلْمُقَامَةِ وَٱلْخُلْدِ

fi dari almuqamati walkhuldi

in the abode of eternity and perpetuity.

وَٱلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ

walssalamu `alaykum

Peace be upon you all.

إِنِّي قَدْ قَصَدْتُكُمْ وَٱعْتَمَدْتُكُمْ

inni qad qasadtukum wa`tamadtukum

I have turned my face towards you and directed to you

بِمَسْالَتِي وَحَاجَتِي

bimas'alati wa hajati

carrying my request and need with me,

وَهِيَ فَكَاكُ رَقَبَتِي مِنَ ٱلنَّارِ

wa hiya fakaku raqabati mina alnnari

which is the release of my neck from Hellfire

وَٱلْمَقَرُّ مَعَكُمْ فِي دَارِ ٱلْقَرَارِ

walmaqarru ma`akum fi dari alqarari

and the settlement with you in the Abode of Final Settlement

مَعَ شِيعَتِكُمُ ٱلابْرَارِ

ma`a shi`atikumu al-abrari

with your pious adherents (Shi`ah).

وَٱلسَّلامُ عَلَيْكُمْ بِمَا صَبَرْتُمْ

walssalamu `alaykum bima sabartum

Peace be upon you all for that you persevered in patience.

فَنِعْمَ عُقْبَىٰ ٱلدَّارِ

fani`ma `uqba alddari

Now how excellent is the final home!

انَا سَائِلُكُمْ وَآمِلُكُمْ فِيمَا إِلَيْكُمُ ٱلتَّفْوِيضُ

ana sa'ilukum wa amilukum fima ilaykumu alttafwidu

I hereby beg you and put my hope in you as regards the matters in which you have the right to act

وَعَلَيْكُمُ ٱلتَّعْوِيضُ

wa `alaykumu altta`widu

and recompense.

فَبِكُمْ يُجْبَرُ ٱلْمَهِيضُ

fabikum yujbaru almahidu

Truly, through you only are the hopeless restored to good condition,

وَيُشْفَىٰ ٱلْمَرِيضُ

wa yushfa almaridu

the ailed healed,

وَمَا تَزْدَادُ ٱلارْحَامُ وَمَا تَغِيضُ

wa ma tazdadu al-arhamu wa ma taghidu

and that which the wombs absorb and that which they grow.

إنِّي بِسِرِّكُمْ مُؤْمِنٌ

inni bisirrikum mu'minun

Verily, I have full faith in your Secret

وَلِقَوْلِكُمْ مُسَلِّمٌ

wa liqawlikum musallimun

and I am fully submissive to your words;

وَعَلَىٰ ٱللَّهِ بِكُمْ مُقْسِمٌ

wa `ala allahi bikum muqsimun

I thus beg you in the name of Allah

فِي رَجْعِي بِحَوَائِجِي

fi raj`i bihawa'iji

to make me return having my requests responded,

وَقَضَائِهَا وَإِمْضَائِهَا

wa qada'iha wa imda'iha

met, accepted,

وَإِنْجَاحِهَا وَإِبْرَاحِهَا

wa injahiha wa ibrahiha

given success, and settled,

وَبِشُؤُونِي لَدَيْكُمْ وَصَلاحِهَا

wa bishu'uni ladaykum wa salahiha

and set aright all my needs and all my affairs towards you.

وَٱلسَّلامُ عَلَيْكُمْ سَلامَ مُوَدِّعٍ

walssalamu `alaykum salama muwaddi`in

Peace be upon you from one who bids you farewell

وَلَكُمْ حَوَائِجَهُ مُودِعٌ

wa lakum hawa'ijahu mudi`un

and puts all his needs with you,

يَسْالُ ٱللَّهَ إِلَيْكُمُ ٱلْمَرْجِعَ

yas'alu allaha ilaykumu almarji`a

praying to Allah for another visit to you,

وَسَعْيُهُ إِلَيْكُمْ غَيْرَ مُنْقَطِعٍ

wa sa`yuhu ilaykum ghayra munqati`in

since his hope is never cut off from you.

وَانْ يَرْجِعَنِي مِنْ حَضْرَتِكُمْ خَيْرَ مَرْجِعٍ

wa an yarji`ani min hadratikum khayra marji`in

I also pray Him to make my departure successful

إِلَىٰ جَنَابٍ مُمْرِعٍ

ila janabin mumri`in

to a productive place,

وَخَفْضٍ مُوَسَّعٍ

wa khafdin muwassa`in

a fruitful area,

وَدَعَةٍ وَمَهَلٍ إِلَىٰ حِينِ ٱلاجَلِ

wa da`atin wa mahalin ila hini al-ajali

comfort, and luxurious up to the befalling of death.

وَخَيْرِ مَصِيرٍ وَمَحَلٍّ فِي ٱلنَّعِيمِ ٱلازَلِ

wa khayri masirin wa mahallin fi alnna`imi al-azali

I also pray Him for the best destiny and abode in the Eternal Bliss,

وَٱلْعَيْشِ ٱلْمُقْتَبَلِ

wal`ayshi almuqtabali

the affluent living,

وَدَوَامِ ٱلاكُلِ

wa dawami al-ukuli

the perpetual fruit,

وَشُرْبِ ٱلرَّحِيقِ وَٱلسَّلْسَلِ

wa shurbi alrrahiqi walssalsali

the drinking from the pure drink,

وَعَلٍّ وَنَهَلٍ لا سَامَ مِنْهُ وَلاَ مَلَلَ

wa `allin wa nahalin la sa'ama minhu wa la malala

and the divine spring whose drink is refreshing and thirst-quenching that is never bored or fed up.

وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ وَتَحِيَّاتُهُ عَلَيْكُمْ

wa rahmatu allahi wa barakatuhu wa tahiyyatuhu `alaykum

Allah’s mercy, blessings, and salutations be upon you incessantly

حَتَّىٰ ٱلْعَوْدِ إِلَىٰ حَضْرَتِكُمْ

hatta al`awdi ila hadratikum

until I return to your presence

وَٱلْفَوْزِ فِي كَرَّتِكُمْ

walfawzi fi karratikum

and win the honor of visiting you again

وَٱلْحَشْرِ فِي زُمْرَتِكُمْ

walhashri fi zumratikum

and the honor of being resurrected with your group.

وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَصَلَوَاتُهُ وَتَحِيَّاتُهُ

wa rahmatu allahi wa barakatuhu `alaykum wa salawatuhu wa tahiyyatuhu

Allah’s mercy, blessings, benedictions, and salutations be upon you,

وَهُوَ حَسْبُنَا وَنِعْمَ ٱلْوَكِيلُ

wa huwa hasbuna wa ni`ma alwakilu

for Allah alone is Sufficient for us! Most Excellent is He in Whom we trust!
