Zuhr Taqeebaat

لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ ٱلْحَلِيمُ

la ilaha illa allahu al`azimu alhalimu

There is no god save Allah, the All-great and Most Forbearing.

لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّ ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱلْكَرِيـمِ

la ilaha illa allahu rabbu al`arshi alkarimu

There is no god save Allah, the Lord of the Throne of Honor.

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَالَمينَ

alhamdu lillahi rabbi al`alamina

All praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مُوجِبَاتِ رَحْمَتِكَ

allahumma inni as'aluka mujibati rahmatika

O Allah, I ask You for the motives of Your mercy,

وَعَزَائِمَ مَغْفِرَتِكَ

wa `aza'ima maghfiratika

the determining causes of Your forgiveness,

وَٱلْغَنيمَةَ مِنْ كُلِّ بِرٍّ

walghanimata min kulli birrin

the advantage of each act of kindness,

وَٱلسَّلاَمَةَ مِنْ كُلِّ إِثْمٍ

walssalamata min kulli ithmin

and the safeguarding against each and every sin.

اَللَّهُمَّ لاَ تَدَعْ لِي ذَنْباً إِلاَّ غَفَرْتَهُ

allahumma la tada` li dhanban illa ghafartahu

O Allah, (please) do not leave any of my offenses unforgiven,

وَلاَ هَمّاً إِلاَّ فَرَّجْتَهُ

wa la hamman illa farrajtahu

any of my misfortunes unrelieved,

وَلاَ سُقْماً إِلاَّ شَفَيْتَهُ

wa la suqman illa shafaytahu

any of my ailments unhealed,

وَلاَ عَيْباً إِلاَّ سَتَرْتَهُ

wa la `ayban illa satartahu

any of my defects uncovered,

وَلاَ رِزْقاً إِلاَّ بَسَطْتَهُ

wa la rizqan illa basattahu

any (item of my) sustenance not including (me),

وَلاَ خَوْفاً إِلاَّ آمَنْتَهُ

wa la khawfan illa amantahu

any fear (that I experience) unsecured,

وَلاَ سُوءاً إِلاَّ صَرَفْتَهُ

wa la su'an illa saraftahu

any evil (that comes upon me) uncontrollable,

وَلاَ حَاجَةً هِيَ لَكَ رِضاً وَلِيَ فيهَا صَلاَحٌ إِلاَّ قَضَيْتَهَا

wa la hajatan hiya laka ridan wa liya fiha salahun illa qadaytaha

and any need that achieves Your satisfaction and my benefit unanswered.

يَا أَرْحَمَ ٱلرَّاحِمينَ

ya arhama alrrahimina

O most Merciful of all those who show mercy.

آمينَ رَبَّ ٱلْعَالَمينَ

amina rabba al`alamina

(please) Respond, O Lord of the worlds

بِٱللَّهِ ٱعْتَصَمْتُ

billahi i`tasamtu

With Allah I seek protection,

وَبِٱللَّهِ أَثِقُ

wa billahi athiqu

in Allah I trust,

وَعَلَىٰ ٱللَّهِ أَتَوَكَّلُ

wa `ala allahi atawakkalu

and upon Allah I rely.

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنْ عَظُمَتْ ذُنُوبِي فَأَنْتَ أَعْظَمُ

Allahumma in `azumat dhunubi fa-anta a`zamu

O Allah! if my sins are enormous, surely You are more Tremendous.

وَإِنْ كَبُرَ تَفْرِيطِي فَأَنْتَ أَكْبَرُ

wa in kabura tafriti fa-anta akbaru

If my transgression has exceeded all limits, surely You are Greater.

وَإِنْ دَامَ بُخْلي فَأَنْتَ أَجْوَدُ

wa in dama bukhli fa-anta ajwadu

If my stinginess has perpetuated, surely You are more Generous.

اَللَّهُمَّ ٱغْفِرْ لِي عَظيمَ ذُنُوبِي بِعَظِيمِ عَفْوِكَ

allahumma ighfir li `azima dhunubi bi`azimi `afwika

O Allah, (please) forgive my enormous sins out of Your tremendous pardon,

وَكَثيرَ تَفْرِيطِي بِظَاهِرِ كَرَمِكَ

wa kathira tafriti bizahiri karamika

forgive my limitless transgression out of Your obvious generosity,

وَٱقْمَعْ بُخْلِي بِفَضْلِ جُودِكَ

waqma` bukhli bifadli judika

and impede my stinginess by the virtue of Your magnanimity.

اَللَّهُمَّ مَا بِنَا مِنْ نِعْمَة فَمِنْكَ

allahumma ma bina min ni`matin faminka

O Allah, You are certainly the source of each and every favor that covers us.

لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ

la ilaha illa anta

There is no god save You.

أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَ أَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ

astaghfiruka wa atubu ilayka

I pray Your forgiveness and I repent before You.

سُبْحَانَ ذِيْ الْعِزِّ الشَّامِخِ الْمُنِيْفِ، سُبْحَانَ ذِيْ الْجَلَالِ الْبَاذِخِ الْعَظِيْمِ،

subhaana zil i’zzish shaamekhil moneefe, subhaana zil jalaalil baazekhil a’zeeme,

Glorified is the one having preceding and superior honor – glorified is the owner of majesty, the greatest and the lofty.

سُبْحَانَ ذِيْ الْمُلْكِ الْفَاخِرِ الْقَدِيْمِ.

subhaana zil mulkil faakheril qadeeme.

Glorified is that owner of the ancient and esteemed kingdom.

وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الَّذِيْ بِنِعْمَتِهٖ بَلَغْتُ مَا بَلَغْتُ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ بِهٖ، وَ الْعَمَلِ لَهُ وَ الرَّغْبَةِ اِلَيْهِ، وَ الطَّاعَةِ لِاَمْرِهٖ،

wal hamdo lillaahil lazee be-ne’matehi balaghto maa balaghto menal i’lme behi, wal a’male lahu war raghbate elayhe, wat taa-a’te le-amrehi,

All praise is for that God, in lieu of whose bounties, I have reached to this level of knowledge and actions and after being inclined to Him I am obeying His commands.

وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الَّذِيْ لَمْ يَجْعَلْنِيْ جَاحِدًا لِشَيْ‏ءٍ مِنْ كِتَابِهٖ، وَ لَا مُتَحَيِّرًا فِيْ شَيْ‏ءٍ مِنْ اَمْرِهٖ.

wal hamdo lillaahil lazee lam yaj-a’lnee jaahedan le-shay-in min ketaabehi, wa laa motahayyeran fee shay-in min amrehi.

All praise is for that God, Who did not make me denier of any part of His Book and did not make me perplexed in any of His issues.

وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الَّذِيْ هَدَانِيْ لِدِيْنِهٖ وَ لَمْ يَجْعَلْنِيْ اَعْبُدُ شَيْئًا غَيْرَهٗ.

wal hamdo lillaahil lazee hadaanee le-deenehi wa lam yaj-a’lnee a-a’bodo shayan ghayrahu.

All praise is for that God, Who has bestowed the guidance of His religion and has not allowed worshipping anyone other than Him.

اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْاَلُكَ قَوْلَ التَّوَّابِيْنَ وَ عَمَلَهُمْ، وَ نَجَاةَ الْمُجَاهِدِيْنَ وَ ثَوَابَهُمْ،

allaahumma innee as-aloka qawlat tawwaabeena wa a’malahum wa najaatal mojaahedeena wa sawaabahum

O God, I ask You for the words and actions of the penitents. And bestow salvation and bounties like that of the holy fighters.

وَ تَصْدِيْقَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَ تَوَكُّلَهُمْ، وَ الرَّاحَةَ عِنْدَ الْمَوْتِ، وَ الْاَمْنَ عِنْدَ الْحِسَابِ،

wa tasdeeqal moameneena wa tawakkolahum, war raahata i’ndal mawte,, wal amne i’ndal hesaabe,

Bestow testimony and contentment like that of the faithful. And bestow on me ease at the time of death and peace and security at the time of accounting.

وَ اجْعَلِ الْمَوْتَ خَيْرَ غَائِبٍ اَنْتَظِرُهٗ، وَ خَيْرَ مُطَّلَعٍ يُطَّلَعُ عَلَيَّ.

waj a’lil mawta khayra ghaa-ebin antazerohu, wa khayra motta-la-i’n yuttala-o’ a’layya.

Deem death to be the best of the unseen, which I may await. And make it the best scene, which is to come before me;

وَ ارْزُقْنِيْ - عِنْدَ حُضُوْرِ الْمَوْتِ، وَ عِنْدَ نُزُوْلِهٖ، وَ فِيْ غَمَرَاتِهٖ وَ حِيْنَ تَنْزِلُ النَّفْسُ مِنْ بَيْنِ التَّرَاقِيْ، وَ حِيْنَ تَبْلُغُ الْحُلْقُوْمُ، وَ فِيْ حَالِ خُرُوْجِيْ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا، وَ تِلْكَ السَّاعَةِ الَّتِيْ لَا اَمْلِكُ لِنَفْسِيْ فِيْهَا ضَرًّا وَ لَا نَفْعًا، وَ لَا شِدَّةً وَ لَا رَخَاءً -

war zuqnee – i’nda hozooril mawte, wa i’nda nozoolehi, wa fee ghamaraatehi wa heena tanzelun nafso min baynit taraaqee, wa heena tabloghul hulqoomo, wa fee haale khoroojee menad dunyaa, wa tilkas saa-a’til latee laa amleko le-nafsee feehaa zarran wa laa naf-a’n, wa laa shiddatan wa laa rakh

and bestow on me at the time of death and at the moment of its coming down and confrontation of its hardships, and the soul is being sucked out completely and the breath reaches upto the throat and I am going from the world and there is nothing under my control, neither profit or loss, severity or ease.

رَوْحًا مِنْ رَحْمَتِكَ، وَ حَظًّا مِنْ رِضْوَانِكَ وَ بُشْرًى مِنْ كَرَامَتِكَ، قَبْلَ اَنْ تَتَوَفّٰى نَفْسِيْ، وَ تَقْبِضَ رُوحِيْ، وَ تُسَلِّطَ مَلَكَ الْمَوْتِ عَلٰى اِخْرَاجِ نَفْسِيْ.

rawhan min rahmateka, wa hazzan min rizwaaneka wa bushran min karaamateka, qabla an tata-wafffaa nafsee, wa taqbeza roohee, wa tosalleta malakil mawte a’laa ikhraajenafsee.<

Bestow me the peace of your mercy, a part of your beneficence and glad tidings of your miracle, before I die and You capture my soul; and that You impose the angels of death on me to remove my soul.

و بِبُشْرًى مِنْكَ يَا رَبِّ - لَيْسَتْ مِنْ اَحَدٍ غَيْرِكَ - تَثْلُجُ بِهَا صَدْرِيْ وَ تَسُرُّ بِهَا نَفْسِيْ، وَ تَقِرُّ بِهَا عَيْنِيْ، وَ يَتَهَلَّلُ بِهَا وَجْهِيْ، وَ يَسْفُرُ بِهَا لَوْنِيْ، وَ يَطْمَئِنُّ بِهَا قَلْبِيْ، وَ يَتَبَاشَرُ بِهَا سَائِرُ جَسَدِيْ.

wa be-bushraan minka yaa rabbe – laysat min ahadin ghayreka – taslojo behaa sadree wa tasurro behaa nafsee, wa taqirro behaa a’ynee, wa yatahallalo behaa wajhee, wa yasforo behaa lawnee, wa yat-mainno behaa qalbee, wa yatabaasharo behaa saa-ero jasadee.

O God, there is only your glad tiding and there is nothing other than that, which can provide tranquility to my breast, pleasure to my soul, coolness to my eyes, joy to my face, shine to my complexion and peace to my heart. And the effect of its tranquility can become apparent on my complete being.

يَغْبِطُنِيْ بِهَا مَنْ حَضَرَنِيْ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ، وَ مَنْ سَمِعَ بِيْ مِنْ عِبَادِكَ. تُهَوِّنُ بِهَا عَلَيَّ سَكَرَاتِ الْمَوْتِ،

yaghbetonee behaa man hazaranee min khalqeka, wa man same-a’ bee min e’baadeka tohawweno behaa a’layya sakaraatil mawte,

And seeing which at the throes of death, all the onlookers, those present there and those who hear, can feel envious.

وَ تُفَرِّجُ عَنِّيْ بِهَا كُرْبَتَهٗ وَ تُخَفِّفُ بِهَا عَنِّيْ شِدَّتَهٗ،

wa tofarrejo a’nnee behaa kurbatahu wa tokhaffefo behaa a’nnee shiddatahu,

Therefore, through this, You ease the hardships of death and remove its pain and sorrow and lighten its severity;

وَ تَكْشِفُ عَنِّيْ بِهَا سُقْمَهٗ، وَ تُذْهِبُ عَنِّيْ بِهَا هَمَّهٗ وَ حَسْرَتَهٗ، وَ تَعْصِمُنِيْ بِهَا مِنْ اَسَفِهٖ وَ فِتَنِهٖ، وَ تُجِيْرُنِيْ بِهَا مِنْ شَرِّهٖ وَ شَرِّ مَا يَحْضُرُ اَهْلُهٗ، وَ تَرْزُقُنِيْ بِهَا خَيْرَهٗ وَ خَيْرَ مَا يَحْضُرُ عِنْدَهٗ وَ خَيْرَ مَا هُوَ كَائِنٌ بَعْدَهٗ.

wa takshefo a’nnee behaa suqmahu, wa tuzhebo a’nnee behaa hammahu wa hasratahu, wa ta’semonee behaa min asafehi wa fetanehi, wa tojeeronee behaa min sharrehi washarre maa yahzoro ahlohu, wa tarzoqonee behaa khayrahu wa khayra maa yahzoro i’ndahu wa khayra maa howa kaa-enun ba’dahu.<

and remove its illness, and cure its sorrow and grief and secure me from its mischief and save me from every calamity that befalls from one, who is dying and with his good,bestow every good that comes down at that time and also bestow that good, which is going to occur after death.<

ثُمَّ اِذَا تُوُفِّيَتْ نَفْسِيْ وَ قُبِضَتْ رُوْحِيْ، فَاجْعَلْ رُوْحِيْ فِيْ الْاَرْوَاحِ الرَّائِـحَةِ، وَ اجْعَلْ نَفْسِيْ فِيْ الْاَنْفُسِ الصَّالِحَةِ،

summa ezaa towuffeyat nafsee wa qobezat roohee, faj-a’l roohee fil arwaahir raa-ehate, waj a’l nafsee fil anfosis saalehate,

After that when my death occurs and the soul is taken out, include my soul among the peaceful souls and make my soul among the most righteous souls,

وَ اجْعَلْ جَسَدِيْ فِيْ الْاَجْسَادِ الْمُطَهَّرَةِ، وَ اجْعَلْ عَمَلِيْ فِيْ الْاَعْمَالِ الْمُتَقَبَّلَةِ.

waj a’l jasadee fil ajsaadil motahharate, waj a’l a’malee fil a-a’maalil motaqabbbalate.

place my body among purified bodies and my deeds among the accepted deeds.

ثُمَّ ارْزُقْنِيْ - فِيْ خِطَّتِيْ مِنَ الْاَرْضِ - وَ مَوْضِعَ جُنَّتِيْ حَيْثُ يُرْفَتُ لَحْمِيْ، وَ يُدْفَنُ عَظْمِيْ، وَ اُتْرَكُ وَحِيْدًا لَا حِيْلَةَ لِيْ.

summar zuqnee – fee hizzatee menal arze – wa maw-ze-a’ junnatee hayso yurfato lahmee, wa yudfano a’zmee, wa utrako waheedan laa heelata lee.

After that when I am buried in that patch of land, where my flesh decays and only the bones remain buried, and I am abandoned alone helpless.

قَدْ لَفَظَتْنِيْ الْبِلَادُ، وَ تَخَلَّا مِنِّيْ الْعِبَادُ، وَ افْتَقَرْتُ اِلٰى رَحْمَتِكَ وَ احْتَجْتُ اِلٰى صَالِحِ عَمَلِيْ، وَ اَلْقٰى مَا مَهَّدْتُ لِنَفْسِيْ وَ قَدَّمْتُ لِاٰخِرَتِيْ، وَ عَمِلْتُ فِيْ اَيَّامِ حَيَاتِيْ،

qad lafazatnil belaado, wa takhallaa minnil e’baado, waf taqarto elaa rahmatekah tajto elaa saalehe a’malee, wa alqaa maa mahhadto le-nafsee wa qaddamto le-aakheratee, wa a’milto fee ayyaame ha

And the townsmen cast me away from them and all the people shun me and I become the beggar of your mercy and needful of good deeds and all of them come before me that I have prepared for myself and which I have sent for my hereafter and the deeds that I have performed in my life

فَوْزًا مِنْ رَحْمَتِكَ، وَ ضِيَاءً مِنْ نُوْرِكَ وَ تَثْبِيْتًا مِنْ كَرَامَتِكَ، بِالْقَوْلِ الثَّابِتِ فِيْ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَ الْاٰخِرَةِ اِنَّكَ تُضِلُّ الظَّالِمِيْنَ وَ تَفْعَلُ مَا تَشَاءُ.

fawzan min rahmateka, wa zeyaa-an min nooreka wa tasbeetan min karaamateka, bil-qawlis saabete fil hayaatid dunyaa wal aakherate innaka tozilluz zaalemeena wa taf-a’lo maa tashaa-o.

– bestow success of your mercy, light of your effulgence and stability of your nobility, through that confirmed statement, which is the means of the life of the world and the hereafter that You do not guide the unjust and You can do whatever You like.

ثُمَّ بَارِكْ لِيْ فِيْ الْبَعْثِ وَ الْحِسَابِ، اِذَا انْشَقَّتِ الْاَرْضُ عَنِّيْ وَ تَخَلَّا الْعِبَادُ مِنِّيْ، وَ غَشِيَتْنِيْ الصَّيْحَةُ، وَ اَفْزَعَتْنِيْ النَّفْخَةُ، وَ نَشَرْتَنِيْ بَعْدَ الْمَوْتِ وَ بَعَثْتَنِيْ لِلْحِسَابِ.

summa baarik lee fil ba’se wal hesaabe, ezan shaqqatil arzo a’nnee wa takhallal e’baado minnee, wa ghasheyatnis sayhato, wa afza-a’tnin naf-khato, wa nashartanee ba’dal mawte wa ba-a’stanee lil-hesaabe.

After that bestow me auspiciousness on Judgment Day and in the stage of accounting when the earth splits and the people leave me and the heavenly call makes me swoon, and the blowing of the bugle makes me tremble, and after death, You revive me and make me join the stage of accounting.

فَابْعَثْ مَعِيْ يَا رَبِّ نُوْرًا مِنْ رَحْمَتِكَ، يَسْعٰى بَيْنَ يَدَيَّ وَ عَنْ يَمِيْنِيْ تُؤْمِنُنِيْ بِهٖ، وَ تَرْبِطُ بِهٖ عَلٰى قَلْبِيْ،

fab-a’s ma-e’e yaa rabbe nooran min rahmateka, yas-a’a bayna yadayya wa a’n yameenee toamenonee behi, wa tarbeto behi a’laa qalbee,

O God, at that time, send along with me that effulgence of your mercy, which may accompany me on the left and the right and through it, You bestow upon me peace and security and satisfaction

وَ تُظْهِرُ بِهٖ عُذْرِيْ، وَ تُبَيِّضُ بِهٖ وَجْهِيْ، وَ تُصَدِّقُ بِهٖ حَدِيْثِيْ،

wa tuzhero behi u’zree, wa tobayyezo behi wajhee, wa tosaddeqo behi hadeesee

so that my excuse becomes clear, my face is illuminated, my statements prove true, my argument is successful,

وَ تُفْلِجُ بِهٖ حُجَّتِيْ، وَ تُبَلِّغُنِيْ بِهِ الْعُرْوَةَ الْقُصْوٰى مِنْ رَحْمَتِكَ، وَ تُحِلُّنِيْ الدَّرَجَةَ الْعُلْيَا مِنْ جَنَّتِكَ

wa tuflejo behi hujjatee, wa toballeghonee behil u’rwatal quswaa min rahmateka, wa tohillonid darajatal u’lyaa min jannateka

and You lead to the strong support of your mercy and settle me in the loftiest stage of Paradise.

وَ تَرْزُقُنِيْ بِهٖ مُرَافَقَةَ مُحَمَّدٍ النَّبِيِّ عَبْدِكَ وَ رَسُوْلِكَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ اٰلِہٖ فِيْ اَعْلَى الْجَنَّةِ دَرَجَةً، وَ اَبْلَغِهَا فَضِيْلَةً وَ اَبَرِّهَا عَطِيَّةً،

wa tarzoqonee behi moraafaqata mohammadenin nabiyye a’bdeka wa rasooleka sallal laaho a’layhe wa aalehi fee a-a’lal jannate darajatan, wa ablaghehaa fazeelatan waabarrehaa a’tiyyatan, <

Bestow upon me the companionship of Muhammad, who is your servant and messenger and loftiest stage of Paradise, which is the highest stage of excellence and your supreme bestowal and the loftiest place,

وَ اَرْفَعِهَا نَفْسَةً مَعَ الَّذِيْنَ اَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنَ النَّبِيِّيْنَ وَ الصِّدِّيْقِيْنَ وَ الشُّهَدَاءِ وَ الصَّالِحِيْنَ، وَ حَسُنَ اُوْلٰئِكَ رَفِيْقًا.

wa arfa-e’haa nafsatan ma-a’l lazeena an-a’mta a’layhim menan nabiyyeena was siddeeqeena wash shohadaa-e was saaleheena, wa hasona oolaa-eka rafeeqan.

deem me among those people, upon whom You have bestowed bounties, and who are your prophets, truthful ones and the righteous and who are the best companions.

اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ خَاتَمِ النَّبِيِّيْنَ، وَ عَلٰى جَمِيْعِ الْاَنْبِيَاءِ وَ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ، وَ عَلَى الْمَلَائِكَةِ اَجْمَعِيْنَ، وَ عَلٰى آلِهِ الطَّيِّبِيْنَ الطَّاهِرِيْنَ وَ عَلٰى اَئِمَّةِ الْهُدٰى اَجْمَعِيْنَ، اٰمِيْنَ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ.

allaahumma salle a’laa mohammadin khaatamin nabiyyeena, wa a’laa jamee-i’l anbeyaa-e wal mursaleena, wa a’lal malaa-ekate ajma-e’ena, wa a’laa aalehit tayyebeenattaahereena wa a’laa a-immatil hodaa ajma-e’ena, aameena rabbal a’alameena.<

O God, bless Muhammad, who is the seal of the prophets and on all the prophets and messengers and all the proximate angels and their purified and chaste progeny and all guiding and guided Imams, amen, O Lord of the worlds.

اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا هَدَيْتَنَا بِهٖ، وَ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا رَحِمْتَنَا بِهٖ.

allaahumma salle a’laa mohammadin kamaa hadaytanaa behi, wa salle a’laa mohammadin kamaa rahimtanaa behi.

O God, bless Muhammad, like You guided us through him and bless him, like You blessed us through him

وَ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا عَزَّزْتَنَا بِهٖ، وَ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا فَضَّلْتَنَا بِهٖ.

wa salle a’laa mohammadin kamaa a’zzaztanaa behi, wa salle a’laa mohammadin kamaa fazzaltanaa behi.

and bless him like You bestowed honor upon us through him. And send mercy upon him like You gave excellence to us through him

وَ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا شَرَّفْتَنَا بِهٖ، وَ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا نَصَرْتَنَا بِهٖ.

wa salle a’laa mohammadin kamaa sharraftanaa behi, wa salle a’laa mohammadin kamaa nasartanaa behi.

and send mercy on him, like You gave nobility to us through him. And send mercy on him like You helped us through him.

وَ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا اَنْقَذْتَنَا بِهٖ مِنْ شَفَا حُفْرَةٍ مِنَ النَّارِ.

wa salle a’laa mohammadin kamaa anqaztanaa behi min shafaa hufratin menan naare.

And send mercy on him like You removed us from the edge of hell through him.

اَللّٰهُمَّ بَيِّضْ وَجْهَهٗ، وَ اَعْلِ كَعْبَهٗ، وَ اَفْلِجْ حُجَّتَهٗ، وَ اَتْمِمْ نُوْرَهٗ، وَ ثَقِّلْ مِيْزَانَهٗ، وَ عَظِّمْ بُرْهَانَهٗ، وَ افْسَحْ لَهٗ حَتّٰى يَرْضٰى، وَ بَلِّغْهُ الدَّرَجَةَ وَ الْوَسِيْلَةَ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ، وَ ابْعَثْهُ الْمَقَامَ الْمَحْمُوْدَ الَّذِيْ وَعَدْتَهٗ، وَ اجْعَلْهُ اَفْضَلَ النَّبِيِّيْنَ وَ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ عِنْدَكَ مَنْزِلَةً وَ وَسِيْلَةً.

allaahumma bayyiz wajhahu, wa a-a’le ka’bahu, wa aflij hujjatahu, wa atmim noorahu, wa saqqil meezaanahu, wa a’zzim burhaanahu, waf sah lahu hattaa yarzaa, wa ballighhud darajata wal waseelata menal jannate, wab a’shul maqaamal mahmoodal lazee wa-a’dtahu waj a’lho afzalan nabiyyeena wal mursaleena i’ndaka manzelatan wa waseelatan.

O God, illuminate his face, raise his rank, make his proof successful, complete his effulgence, make the criterion of his deeds heavy, deem his proof to be great and bestow such wideness to him that he is satisfied, convey him to the ranks of Paradise and mediation and bestow that praised station that You promised him. Make him, in your view, loftier than all prophets and messengers.

وَ اقْصُصْ بِنَا اَثَرَهٗ، وَ اسْقِنَا بِكَاْسِهٖ، وَ اَوْرِدْنَا حَوْضَهٗ، وَ احْشُرْنَا فِيْ زُمْرَتِهٖ، وَ تَوَفَّنَا عَلٰى مِلَّتِهٖ، وَ اسْلُكْ بِنَا سُبُلَهٗ، وَ اسْتَعْمِلْنَا بِسُنَّتِهٖ، غَيْرَ خَزَايَا وَ لَا نَادِمِيْنَ، وَ لَا شَاكِّيْنَ، وَ لَا مُبَدِّلِيْنَ.‏

waq sus benaa asarahu, was qenaa bekaasehi, wa awridnaa hawzahu, wah shurnaa fee zumratehi, wa tawaffanaa a’laa millatehi, was luk benaa sobolahu, was ta’milnaa be-sunnatehi, ghayra khazaa-yaa wa laa naademeena, wa laa shaakkeena, wa laa mobaddeleena.

Make us tread his footsteps and quench us through his glass, make us reach his pool, include us among his group, and make us die on his religion, make us tread his path, make us act on his practice, where there is neither disgrace nor same, nor any doubt or change in the beliefs.

يَا مَنْ بَابُهٗ مَفْتُوْحٌ لِدَاعِيْهِ، وَ حِجَابُهٗ مَرْفُوْعٌ لِرَاجِيْهِ، يَا سَاتِرَ الْاَمْرِ الْقَبِيْحِ، وَ مُدَاوِيْ الْقَلْبِ الْجَرِيْحِ، لَا تَفْضَحْنِيْ فِيْ مَشْهَدِ الْقِيَامَةِ بِمُوْبِقَاتِ الْاٰثَامِ، وَ لَا تُعْرِضْ بِوَجْهِكَ الْكَرِيْمِ عَنِّيْ مِنْ بَيْنِ الْاَنَامِ.

yaa man baabohu maftoohun le-daa-e’ehe, wa hejaabohu marfoo-u’n le-raajeehe, yaa saateral amril qabeehe, wa modaa-wil qalbil jareehe, laa tafzahnee fee mash-hadil qeyaamate bemoobeqaatil aasaame, wa laa to’riz be-wajhekal kareeme a’nnee min baynil anaame.

O One, whose door is open for the supplicants, whose curtains are lifted for the hopeful, O concealer of disgraceful acts, and One, who cures the injured heart, do notdisgrace us on Judgment Day due to fatal sins, and don’t turn away your merciful face from me among the creatures.<

يَا غَايَةَ الْمُضْطَرِّ الْفَقِيْرِ، وَ يَا جَابِرَ الْعَظْمِ الْكَسِيْرِ، هَبْ لِيْ مُوْبِقَاتِ الْجَرَائِرِ، وَ اعْفُ عَنْ فَاضِحَاتِ السَّرَائِرِ، وَ اغْسِلْ قَلْبِيْ مِنْ وِزْرِ الْخَطَايَا، وَ ارْزُقْنِيْ حُسْنَ الْاِسْتِعْدَادِ لِنُزُوْلِ الْمَنَايَا.

yaa ghaayatal muztarril faqeere, wa yaa jaberal a’zmil kaseere, hab lee moobeqaatil jaraa-ere, wa’ fo a’n faazehaatis saraa-ere, wagh sil qalbee min wizril khataayaa, war zuqnee husnal iste’daade lenozoolil manaayaa.

O final hope of the beggar, O joiner of broken bones. Bestow upon me forgiveness and overlook our concealed sins, clean our heart from the dirt of sins and bestow us the best readiness for the time of death.

يَا اَكْرَمَ الْاَكْرَمِيْنَ وَ مُنْتَهٰى اُمْنِيَّةِ السَّائِلِيْنَ، اَنْتَ مَوْلَايَ، فَتَحْتَ لِيْ بَابَ الدُّعَاءِ وَ الْاِنَابَةِ،

yaa akramal akrameena wa muntahaa umniyyatil saaeleena, anta mawlaaya, fatahta lee baabad do-a’a-e wal enaabate, <

O the most noble from the nobles and the last center of the hopes of petitioners, You are my master.

فَلَا تُغْلِقْ عَنِّيْ بَابَ الْقَبُوْلِ وَ الْاِجَابَةِ، وَ نَجِّنِيْ بِرَحْمَتِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ، وَ بَوِّئْنِيْ غُرُفَاتِ الْجِنَانِ،

falaa tughliq a’nnee baabal qaboole wal ejaabate, wanajjenee be-rahmateka menan naare, wa bawweanee ghorofaatil jenaane,

If You have opened the doors of repentance, do not close the doors of acceptance and on the basis of your mercy, save us from the chastisement of hell and accommodate us inthe chambers of Paradise. <

وَ اجْعَلْنِيْ مُتَمَسِّكًا بِالْعُرْوَةِ الْوُثْقٰى، وَ اخْتِمْ لِيْ بِالسَّعَادَةِ.

waj a’lnee motamassekan bil-u’rwatil wusqaa, wakh tim lee bis-sa-a’adate.

Through your strong support give us the good sense (Taufeeq) of attachment and make our end be on righteousness.

وَ اَحْيِنِيْ بِالسَّلَامَةِ يَا ذَا الْفَضْلِ وَ الْكَمَالِ، وَ الْعِزَّةِ وَ الْجَلَالِ وَ لَا تُشْمِتْ بِيْ عَدُوًّا وَ لَا حَاسِدًا،

wa ahyenee bis-salaamate yaa zal fazle wal kamaale, wal i’zzate wal jalaale

Keep us alive with health, O owner of grace and perfection and master of honor and majesty;

وَ لَا تُسَلِّطْ عَلَيَّ سُلْطَانًا عَنِيْدًا وَ لَا شَيْطَانًا مَرِيْدًا،

wa laa tushmit bee a’duwwan wa laa haasedan, wa laa tosallit a’layya sultaanan a’needan wa laa shaytaanin mareedan,

do not give chance to our enemies and jealous ones to ridicule us and do not impose upon us any tyrant or rebellious satan.

بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ، وَ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِاللهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيْمِ، وَ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اٰلِہٖ وَ سَلَّمَ تَسْلِیْمًا‏.

be-rahmateka yaa arhamar raahemeen, wa laa hawla wa laa quwwata illaa billaahil a’liyyil a’zeeme, wa sallal laaho a’laa mohammadin wa aalhi wa sallama tasleeman

Through your perfect mercy, O the best of those, who are merciful. And there is no strength or power, except for Allah, the high and the mighty, and may Allah bless Muhammad and his progeny with the best of the blessings.
