Masjid Zayd And Sasaa

إِلهِي قَدْ مَدَّ إِلَيْكَ الخاطِيُ المُذْنِبُ يَدَيْهِ بِحُسْنِ ظَنِّهِ بِكَ إِلهِي قَدْ جَلَسَ المُسِيُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ مُقِراً لَكَ بِسُوءِ عَمَلِهِ وَراجِياً مِنْكَ الصَّفْحَ عَنْ زَلَلِهِ ، إِلهِي قَدْ رَفَعَ إِلَيْكَ الظَّالِمُ كَفَّيْهِ راجِياً لِما لَدَيْكَ فَلا تُخَيِّبْهُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ ، إِلهِي قَدْ جَثاً العائِدُ إِلى المَعاصِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ خائِفاً مِنْ يَوْمٍ تَجْثُو فِيهِ الخَلائِقُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ

O my God, I, the wrongdoer and sinful, am extending my hands to You, on account of the good opinion that I carry about You.O my God, I, the evildoer, am sitting before You, confessing to You of my ill deedsand hoping for You to overlook my faults.O my God, I, the unjust, am raising my hands in the hope of attaining that which You have in possession;so, do not deprive me of Your favors, out of Your mercy.O my God, I, the reverter to disobedience, am kneeling before You,for I fear the day on which all created beings shall kneel before You.

إِلهِي جاءَكَ العَبْدُ الخاطِيُ فَزِعاً مُشْفِقاً وَرَفَعَ إِلَيْكَ طَرْفَهُ حَذِراً راجِياً وَفاضَتْ عَبْرَتُهُ مُسْتَغْفِراً نادِماً ، وَعِزَّتِكَ وَجَلالِكَ ما أَرَدْتُ بِمَعْصِيَتِي مُخالَفَتَكَ وَماعَصَيْتُكَ إِذْ عَصَيْتُكَ وَأَنا بِكَ جاهِلٌ وَلا لِعِقُوبَتِكَ مُتَعَرِّضٌ وَلا لِنَظَرِكَ مُسْتَخِفٌ ، وَلكِنْ سَوَّلَتْ لِي نَفْسِي وَأَعانَتْنِي عَلى ذلِكَ شِقْوَتِي

O my God, I, the faulty servant, am coming to You with panic and fearraising my sight to You with caution and hope,shedding tears, seeking forgiveness, and showing regret.By Your Might and Majesty I swear! When I disobeyed You, I have not intended to violate Youand when I disobeyed You, I have never been unaware of YouI have never intended to expose myself to Your punishment,and I have never belittled Your watching over me;rather, my soul has commended to me,my adversity has overcome me,

وَغَرَّنِي سِتْرُكَ المُرْخى عَلَيَّ ، فَمِنَ الانَ مِنْ عَذابِكَ مَنْ يَسْتَنْقِذُنِي وَبِحَبْلِ مَنْ أَعْتَصِمُ إِنْ قَطَعْتَ حَبْلَكَ عَنِّي؟! فَيا سَوْأَتاهُ غَداً مِنَ الوُقُوف بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ إِذا قِيلَ لِلْمُخِفِّينَ جُوزُوا وَلِلْمُثْقِلِينَ حُطُّوا! أَفَمَعَ المُخِفِّينَ أَجُوُزُ أَمْ مَعَ المُثْقِلِينَ أَحُطُّ؟ وَيْلِي كُلَّما كَبُرَ سِنِّي كَثُرَتْ ذُنُوبِي! وَيْلِي كُلَّما طالَ عُمْرِي كَثرَتْ مَعاصِيَّ! فَكَمْ أَتُوبُ وَكَمْ أَعُودُ؟ أَما آنَ لِي أَنْ أَسْتَحْيِي مِنْ رَبِّي؟

and I was deceived by Your screen that covers all my defects.Now, who can save me from Your punishment?Whose rope can I maintain if You cut the rope that connects me with You?What a shame shall be on me tomorrow when I will be detained before Youwhen the light-loaded ones will be allowed to pass,but the heavy-loaded ones will be stopped?Shall I pass with the light- loaded ones or shall I bestopped with the heavy-loaded ones?Woe to me! The older I am the more sinful I become!Woe to me! The more aged I am the more disobedient I become!So often have I declared repentance!And so often have I returned to committing acts of disobedience!Has not the time come that I be ashamed of my Lord?

اللّهُمَّ فَبِحَقِّ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ إِغْفِرْ لِي وَارْحَمْنِي يا أرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ وَخَيْرَ الغافِرِينَ.

O Allah, (I beg You) in the name of Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,please, forgive me and have mercy upon me.O most merciful of all those who show mercy and most excellent forgiver of all those who forgive!

اِرْحَمْ مَنْ أَساءَ وَاقْتَرَفَ وَاسْتَكانَ وَاعْتَرَفَ.

(Please) have mercy upon him who had misbehaved and committed sins,but he then submitted and confessed.

إِنْ كُنْتُ بِئْسَ العَبْدُ فَأَنْتَ نِعْمَ الرَّبُّ.

If I am the worst servant (of You),then You are the All-excellent Lord.

عَظُمَ الذَّنْبُ مِنْ عَبْدِكَ فَلْيَحْسُنِ العَفْوُ مِنْ عِنْدِكَ يا كَرِيمُ.

Your servant’s sin has been very flagrant,then let Your pardon be very excellent,O All-generous!

العَفْوَ العَفْوَ

Pardon! Pardon!

والخلاصة أنّ مسجد صعصعة من المساجد الشريفة في الكوفة وقد شوهد فيه الإمام الغائب صاحب العصر صلوات الله عليه شاهده فيه جمع من الأصحاب في شهر رجب يصلّي ركعتين ويدعو بالدعاء :

In conclusion, Sa’sa’ah Mosque is also one of the holy places in the city of al-Kufah. A group of our scholars have seen Imam al-Mahdi (‘a) offering a two-unit prayer there during the month of Rajab. He then said the supplicatory prayer that begins with the following statement:

اَللَّهُمَّ يَا ذَاَ ٱلْمِنَنِ ٱلسَّابِغَةِ

O Allah, the Lord of the complete favors,

وَٱلآلاَءِ ٱلْوَازِعَةِ

the utter bounties,

وَٱلرَّحْمَةِ ٱلْوَاسِعَةِ

the immense mercy,

وَٱلْقُدْرَةِ ٱلْجَامِعَةِ

and all-encompassing power,

وَٱلنِّعَمِ ٱلْجَسِيمَةِ

and the immense blessings,

وَٱلْمَوَاهِبِ ٱلْعَظِيمَةِ

and the great gifts,

وَٱلأَيَادِي ٱلْجَمِيلَةِ

and the elegant boons,

وَٱلْعَطَايَا ٱلْجَزِيلَةِ

and plentiful rewards!

يَا مَنْ لا يُنْعَتُ بِتَمْثِيلٍ

O He Who cannot be described by any analogy,

وَلاَ يُمَثَّلُ بِنَظِيرٍ

nor compared with any like,

وَلاَ يُغْلَبُ بِظَهِيرٍ

and nor overcome with the help of any supporter.

يَا مَنْ خَلَقَ فَرَزَقَ

O He Who created and then granted sustenance,

وَأَلْهَمَ فَأَنْطَقَ

and inspired (them) and then endowed them with speech,

وَٱبْتَدَعَ فَشَرَعَ

and originated (the creation) and then initiated it,

وَعَلاَ فَٱرْتَفَعَ

transcended it and then surmounted it,

وَقَدَّرَ فَأَحْسَنَ

and determined it in an excellent form,

وَصَوَّرَ فَأَتْقَنَ

and then formed it in a perfect manner,

وَٱحْتَجَّ فَأَبْلَغَ

and advanced conclusive proofs,

وَأَنْعَمَ فَأَسْبَغَ

and blessed abundantly,

وَأَعْطَىٰ فَأَجْزَلَ

and rewarded plenteously,

وَمَنَحَ فَأَفْضَلَ

and conferred gracious gifts!

يَا مَنْ سَمَا فِي ٱلْعِزِّ

O He Who is so lofty in might

فَفَاتَ نَوَاظِرَ ٱلأَبْصَارِ

so he eludes the gaze of the creatures' eyes,

وَدَنَا فِي ٱللُّطْفِ

and so close in affection

فَجَازَ هَوَاجِسَ ٱلأَفْكَارِ

so as to ascend all notions of thought!

يَا مَنْ تَوَحَّدَ بِٱلْمُلْكِ

O He Who is the sole sovereign of His dominion

فَلاَ نِدَّ لَهُ فِي مَلَكُوتِ سُلْطَانِهِ

that no peer can ever be found for Him in the realms of His power

وَتَفَرَّدَ بِٱلآلاَءِ وَٱلْكِبْرِيَاءِ

and has been so matchless in bounties and supremacy

فَلاَ ضِدَّ لَهُ فِي جَبَرُوتِ شَأْنِهِ

that nothing can oppose Him in the omnipotence of His situation!

يَا مَنْ حَارَتْ فِي كِبْرِيَاءِ هَيْبَتِهِ دَقَائِقُ لَطَائِفِ ٱلأَوْهَامِ

O He the greatness of whose awe, bewilders the intricate subtleties of the imagination

وَٱنْحَسَرَتْ دُونَ إِدْرَاكِ عَظَمَتِهِ خَطَائِفُ أَبْصَارِ ٱلأَنَامِ

and before Whose greatness are wearied the glances of the eyes of the worlds inhabitants!

يَا مَنْ عَنَتِ ٱلْوُجُوهُ لِهَيْبَتِهِ

O He before Whose Awe all faces have humbled themselves,

وَخَضَعَتِ ٱلرِّقَابُ لِعَظَمَتِهِ

to His greatness all necks bend,

وَوَجِلَتِ ٱلْقُلُوبُ مِنْ خِيفَتِهِ

and His fear makes the hearts quake!

أَسْأَلُكَ بِهٰذِهِ ٱلْمِدْحَةِ ٱلَّتِي لا تَنْبَغِي إِلاَّ لَكَ

I beseech You in the name of this piece of praise which suits none but You,

وَبِمَا وَأَيْتَ بِهِ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِكَ لِدَاعِيكَ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

and by the promise which You have made incumbent upon Yourself for the believers who call upon You,

وَبِمَا ضَمِنْتَ ٱلإِجَابَةَ فِيهِ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِكَ لِلدَّاعِينَ

and by the assurance You have given to answer the appeals of those who supplicate to You.

يَا أَسْمَعَ ٱلسَّامِعِينَ

O the sharpest of listeners!

وَأَبْصَرَ ٱلنَّاظِرِينَ

and the keenest of observers!

وَأَسْرَعَ ٱلْحَاسِبِينَ

and the swiftest of reckoners!

يَا ذَاَ ٱلْقُوَّةِ ٱلْمَتِينَ

O Powerful and All-strong!

صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ خَاتَمِ ٱلنَّبِيِّينَ وَعَلَىٰ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ

(Please do) bless Muhammad, the seal of the Prophets, and his Household,

وَٱقْسِمْ لِي فِي شَهْرِنَا هٰذَا خَيْرَ مَا قَسَمْتَ

and allot for me in this month of ours the best of what You have allotted to anyone,

وَٱحْتِمْ لِي فِي قَضَائِكَ خَيْرَ مَا حَتَمْتَ

and ordain for me in Your ordainments the best of what You have ordained for anyone,

وَٱخْتِمْ لِي بَٱلسَّعَادَةِ فِيمَنْ خَتَمْتَ

seal my life with happiness with which You seal the lives of others,

وَأَحْيِنِي مَا أَحْيَيْتَنِي مَوْفُوراً

Give me a prosperous life, so long as You keep me alive,

وَأَمِتْنِي مَسْرُوراً وَمَغْفُوراً

and grant me to die happy and forgiven,

وَتَوَلَّ أَنْتَ نَجَاتِي مِنْ مُسَاءَلَةِ ٱلبَرْزَخِ

You assume the charge of my deliverance during the questioning in the purgatory,

وَٱدْرأْ عَنِّي مُنكَراً وَنَكِيراً

and spare me from Munkar and Nakir,

وَأَرِ عَيْنِي مُبَشِّراً وَبَشِيراً

and make Mubashshir and Bashir appear before my eyes,

وَٱجْعَلْ لِي إِلَىٰ رِضْوَانِكَ وَجِنَانِكَ مَصِيراً

let my return be toward Your pleasure and paradise,

وَعَيْشاً قَرِيراً

and grant me a happy life,

وَمُلْكاً كَبِيراً

and a big kingdom,

وَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ كَثِيراً

and bless Muhammad and his Household very much.
